Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because you're waking up in the morning. All right, it's
chit chat roulette with Sarah.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
At least we take the biggest topics from the weekend
because there's a really good chance you didn't open up
your phone, and we'll make sure you feel prepared going
into work. We got to debrief our own fourth of
July before I start the timer real quick.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
What a good weekend?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
It was absolutely perfect.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Go ahead and say the top things that happened quick.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
I went to Wicked and Indy Friday night. I was
at the Fort Thomas fireworks show, Awesome Love Saturday night,
celebrated my dad's retirement and Jeff Ruby's ten out of ten,
and then yesterday did some some canoeing with friends brew
at Acton's. So just the best. Give me your your
top four.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
I went skinny dipping in someone's pool on the July.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Did you know this person?

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Nope, they were a stranger.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Perfect.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
I'll debrief that around eight twenty. But I did go
on the Creamy Whip Tour. I had ice cream four
times this weekend.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Ooh, did you go to a maristop in Bellvie.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I don't know. I didn't get there yet, but I
will debrief what else.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
It was just like hot dogs, sunshine, bodies of water.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
I went kayaking as well at Scenic River, shot.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Out with some mother nature for like actually giving a
sunshine all week dude.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
And you know what, God blessed the person in the
office that you're going to talk to at one point
today that says, well, I didn't get any time off.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Some of us have to work. No one feels bad
for you.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Yeah, that's on you because if you're working all weekend
and you didn't have to do that, yeah you got
a problem.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
And you know it.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Shout out to people who did have to work all
week and like beer truck delivery drivers or grocery store
workers or anyone that had to work. I hope you
at least had a chance to sit outside with the
sun on your face. I always feel bad for those people,
But there is the specific person in your life that
is looking for a pity, a pity everything morning.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
I mean, I used to have to work weekends, like
working in sports and working in the newsroom down the
hall before the job that i've now, And I get it.
It's tough. It's tough. It's tough, so you know.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
It makes it better really little soft serve with some sprinkles.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Okay, biggest topics of the weekend? You have something in
common with the most famous person on the fourth of July?

Speaker 1 (02:13):
And what is that?

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Tell me?

Speaker 1 (02:15):
You're a Gizzie gobbler out?

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Yes, our guy, Joey Chestnut. Did you watch the competition? Now?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
I didn't watch the competition, Sarah.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yes you do. I don't you keep track of stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
On the weekends?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I do not.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
I had to watch because I knew that no one
else would. And also, I'm always invested in whatever Joey
Chestnut's getting into. Seventy and a half hot dogs? What
do we think ten minutes? I had him going for
ninety Clearly I was way off. His record is seventy six, Sara.
He did it a few years ago, and I was like,
you know what, he didn't compete last year because of
all the drama with the sponsors. I'm like, so he's

(02:47):
going to do it really big this year. He really
slowed down in the last five minutes. I was hoping
that it was gonna be kind of like a Roles reverse.
All right, in the first five minutes he did fifty five.
I'm like, all right, he's easily going to get this done. Sarah,
it's really slowed down. Sarah.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Here, you participated in the hot dog eating contest and
it's hard.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
It's hard. It's a lot harder than you think. And
I love me some hot dogs. And I was so
cocky going into it. I'm like, dude, I got this. Nope,
I'm gonna eat like twenty of them. I think I
had five.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Theys don't get in water.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Did you do the water? I did the water. I
did the water. It's disgusting. It's as gross as you
think that it is. And then our girl Mickey Pseudo
eleventh time winning for the Girlies Good thirty three hot
dogs in ten minutes, not even close to her record
of fifty one, which is what she did last year.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
So people slowing down on the hot dogs.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
People are slowing down.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Yeah, right, what else? Led Lacruz, congrats.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Yeah, he's going to the All Star He said no
to the Home Run Derby, which I respect, but selfishly
as a fan, I'm like, dude, I wish our guy
Ellie was going to be participating in the Home Run
Derby because that's one of my favorite events to watch.
It's very entertaining. Yeah, I would love to see him
fought out some bombs, but it's just not gonna happen.
So he will represent us in Atlanta for everything. It

(04:08):
should be a good time. Okay, what else? Oh, what
else happened?

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Well?

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Something that is happening with sports in our city. Joe Burrow.
He's making headlines because he's gonna be in Quarterback two
starting on Netflix tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Oh my god, tomorrow is already the eighth.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Tomorrow is the eighth.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
It's right.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
I had the Oh, I'm so glad you reminded me,
because over the weekend I crawled, I scrolled past the
trailer of him with do you see.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
The one with him and the outfits?

Speaker 3 (04:31):
That's what was sprending week and I was like, okay,
Like I'm excited for this. Gives us something to look
forward to this week. After the big holiday weekend, he
talked about the back list suit yeah, and how he
didn't pick that thing out but war and I think
he looked great in that.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
I mean a Joe Burrow rocked.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Yeah. Yeah, that's a good looking back.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
We did get a new song from Drake over the weekend.
It's called what Did I Miss? Of course there are
some lyrics that are directed towards Kendrick Lamar, but it's
a cent actually, like a song that's like where was everyone,
you know, all my friends in the past, Where where
were you? Essentially when I was you know, when the
Internet was hating me?

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Essentially.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
I'll play clips of it coming up in Three Things
You Need to Know around seven fifty.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
I am still in the hunt.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
For the song of So much's going on. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
I like what's going on.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
It's not Manchild by Sabrina Carpenter, I don't think so.
It's not anything from Lord. That's like it hasn't gone
mainstream enough. I just said maybe this Drake song could
be it. It's not really sticking that well, Like who
is going to be the song of summer?

Speaker 3 (05:33):
I don't know. I've been listening to throwbacks all weekend,
saying like, I'm going back to boy band stuff because
I actually get to see backster boys here in a
couple of weeks in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Yeah, you're going to have to the residency. How much
is a ticket to that?

Speaker 3 (05:44):
You don't even want to know about that.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
That's that's a credit card statement for next.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Week for that says something we'll circle back to on
Monday next Monday, next Monday. But yeah, the Baxster Boys
are touring and they're well not touring, but they are.
They're they're in the Sphere, the Sphere putting on a
bunch of shows there, so it'll be there next weekend.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Speaking of Kelly Clarkson, I think canceled the first night
of her residency.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
I scrolled past that pretty quickly. I went to see
Jurassic Park yesterday.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
What did you think?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
It's classic Jurassic, classic Jurassic. Do we give it like
a solid seven? Eight? Really?

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Scarlett Joe is really good.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
I think Jonathan Bailey, right, the guy from Wicked, he's
in it.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Yes, acting is good.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
It's like the classic drastic cheesiness a little bit.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
I love that. Though it was good.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
I liked it.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
I saw the F one movie last weekend. You've got
to go see that one if you haven't yet.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
And F one was pretty big this weekend as well.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
They were at Silverstone, which is where I think some
of the movie was filmed.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Okay, awesome. I have no interest in the F one,
but I really want to see Jurassic or Classic Jurassic. Oh, Sally,
and I was thinking that was coming out this week.
I was way off with that.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
They are heavy showing the Wicked trailer Wicked for Good,
and I thought of you when I was in the theater.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
Ask me how many times I've seen the Wicked trailer.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
How about you ask me about my wien How many
winners Sarah eat this week?

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Wieners and Wicked Baby.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
All right, we're commercial free coming up at seven point forty.
Let's get into the Creamy Whip tour. I did explore
Cincinnati's ice cream scene. I'll get to that next
