Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time kiss
on seven one crazy. I feel crazy. If you ever
wonder what I do while the music is playing. Outside
of prepping for the you know next thing we're going
to talk about, and a lot of the behind the
scenes that happen. Sometimes I just sit here and vibe
and sing the songs at full volume. WLW hates to
(00:21):
see me come in some morning, all right. Cincinnati finally
fell on a list that I agree with. I wasn't
gonna do this until our nine o'clock hour, but you
know me, I'm a sucker for a good list. I
love a list. And we fell on the top ten
of the best cities to live in if you want
to lead a more active lifestyle. And I said, oh,
(00:44):
this is perfect. We got to talk about this because
fitness ends up usually falling on the New Year's res
every January. Right, And we landed in the top ten
for the greatest city to live in for being active.
And if your ears are perking up, you're like, Okay,
tell me more, tell me more. This was based on
(01:06):
a few different things walkability, but to identify them, this
is wallet Hub, by the way, compared to one hundred
of the biggest cities in the country, and there were
thirty five different indicators, a few being average monthly fitness
club fees, how much are you playing paying for your
gym or your class memberships? Hiking trails, Yeah, things of
(01:29):
that nature. We don't have many hiking trails unless you're
gonna hit Wasson Way, which I highly recommend. I doubt
it's plowed at the moment, but Wasson Way is a
go to of mine. Very flat, very easy if you
haven't experienced yet yet. I park in the Rookwood parking
lot next to the Whole Foods. There's a set a
set of stairs lead you right up to Wasson highly recommend.
Highly you can get a good six miles out of that.
(01:52):
What else? What else was I going to say about this? Oh? Yeah,
as someone that has, you know, paid for different classes
in different cities in the country, I feel like since
he's really manageable when it comes to their fitness membership fees, etc.
All right, So who else is on this list? Honolulu
came in at number one, New York two, San Francisco
number three, Vegas number four, Chicago number five. Unfortunately, I'm
(02:17):
sure this list was done before the California wildfires. La
came in at number six, Denver, number seven, San Diego, Philadelphia,
and then clocking in at number ten Cincinnati, Ohio as
one of the best cities to live in if you
want to lead an active lifestyle. Coming in as the
worst city, by the way, was Fresno, Wichita, Kansas, Corpus Christy,
(02:42):
Fort Wayne, Indiana. Sorry, guys, Irving or Irvine, Rather, Texas
and North Las Vegas are all on those lists as
like the worst places to live in. Let's talk about
fitness real quick. Sarah Elise, you guys know her because
she's in our show's Inner Circle. She has her own
show with Kid Chris on w EBN. She came in
here first week of January, full blown panicking, panicking. She's like,
(03:03):
I gotta get the I gotta get the food right,
I gotta get this right. I gotta get I mean,
I gotta get back on my grind I and I
get it. And I said, I looked at her, I said, relax,
just relax, shift your expectations a little bit. We're gonna
get there. Do I want to be snatched by my
thirty fifth birthday? On January twenty second. You better believe it,
but we're just gonna we'll get there. I don't want
you when you listen to the show. I do not
(03:24):
want you to feel overwhelmed or stressed out. You always
know you've got a friend in me. We're gonna figure
it out. Okay, have some water, check your horoscope, Get
an iced coffee. If you're like me, regardless of temperature,
I will drink iced coffee commercial free in the meantime.
Coming up at this seven fourth, this might be ridiculous.
Two songs from now, how long should you hold on
to your underwear? Here comes Sarah nown coming into panic,
