Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because you're waking up fifth in the morning. Kiss what
I was seven one? Hi, good morning. I want to
take a little break from chit chat about Liam Payne.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
You know, we'll get back into that and three things
you need to know at seven fifty this morning.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
I hope you're off to a good start. I feel
the need to check in on you today. You good,
You good.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Let's talk about destination weddings. I am going to the
Dominican Republic for my first destination wedding of this year
two weeks from today Halloween.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
I'll have to go to I'm going. I'm ture.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
I don't know should I dress, Like do you think
someone will dress up on the airplane because it's hall
Probably not. That sounds childish, but maybe I'll wear something spookier.
I probably you know, knowing me, we're not doing that.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
I'm just not doing that. I don't know why.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
I don't know why I say these things. I'm not
doing it. But I'm going to the dr for a
friend of mine wedding, and I'm going for five nights.
I'm going by myself, and I'm excited about the experience.
I feel like I don't do a ton of out
of country solo travel, so this will be a good
(01:11):
entry point for me to try that. And I'm like,
of course I'm by myself, but then I'm a part
of the wedding, not like I'm not in it. But
there's gonna be people there that I know, some I
do a lot that I probably won't and I don't
know if I over committed to this, but I'm there
for five nights because I just love the ocean.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
I love the tropics, I love I love it so much.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
But I feel like by the end of it, I'm
nervous because it's gonna be like the bride the groom,
they're intimate family members and then Tiffany, which really tracks
for my life. But I'm I don't know, I'm like
a little like a little nervous. I'm a little nervous
to go to this one. I don't know why. It's
(01:55):
not that I haven't gone on a you know, a
solo tropical vacation for a wedding before. Actually one year ago,
I was at the Turks, but I was in that wedding.
I was a part of the celebrations, so I felt,
you know, kind of like locked in with the family.
Now this is a friend of mine, but not like
a really close friend of mine. It's an industry friend
of mine. And I'm there for I think I might
(02:18):
be the one that's there the longest. Everyone's leaving on
like Sunday or Monday, and I'm there from until like
Tuesday or Wednesday. Let's see, whant I get your thoughts
on destination weddings? Have you gone to them? Do you
love them? Do you not?
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Do you think it's worth it?
Speaker 2 (02:31):
I actually would love to talk to a bride or
a groom that's planned a wedding?
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Are you going destination? And why? Talk back with tiff On.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
iHeartRadio when you search kiss oneos have won the microphones
right next to the play button.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
And you know, if you are having a destination.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Wedding and you do invite me, just know that I
will be there, most likely before the bride and groom
arrive and stay until long after they've left.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Wow, good morning, a little pretty Ricky.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
You're waking up with tif in the morning, kiss on
us HAVEVA one, that's for sure. We're in the midst
of talking about destination weddings, solo travel, things of that nature.
So two weeks from today, I'm going to the Dominican
Republic for a friend of mine's wedding. Now we're industry friends,
so I'm not in this wedding. I'm not super close
with anyone. I'm like a little bit nervous because I'm
(03:20):
going by myself and I'm going for five nights, and
I feel like I'm gonna be it's going to be
the bride the groom, and they're close families, and then
just me at the end of the dinner table like
a loser. Hi.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
We went to a wedding in the Dominican Republic and
it was the best wedding we've ever been to, and
it was a vacation on top of that.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Yeah, that's why I committed. I mean, I may have
over committed. We're in the midst of talking about solo
travel too. If you've gone and had some good experiences,
we often check in about that because I don't want
to hold myself back in life because I don't have
anyone to go with. I mean, at this stage, I'm
in my early thirties, so friends of mine have kids
and you know, can't pick up and leave like I can.
(04:02):
Of course, everyone's in their own different financial situations, people
are married, et cetera, et cetera.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
So I'm just trying to go out there and live
it and do it, live it up instead of putting
the pressure on friends and family to come. We only
had our best friends when other couple come with us
to as as our witnesses, and then we are having
a big party with everybody here to celebrate. That's good, Okay,
I've heard that before.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
I've heard I've heard nothing but success stories from destination weddings.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
When you search kiss on iHeartRadio, it's an alternative way
to contribute.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
I'd love to hear from me this morning. Let's put
a pin in this for now.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
For now, you're more than welcome to contribute, but we've
got to dive into the three things you need to
know to get your day started here in Cincy. Coming
up at seven point fifty, we're obviously going to update
you on the latest with Liam Payne and more. Next
