Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, kiss on
seven one good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
If a Cincinnatian had forty five million followers, would or subscribers,
would you find that surprising?

Speaker 3 (00:17):
I don't know what it is.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
I don't know why, but from yeah, I for me, yeah,
And I don't know if it's because we're not in
La maybe a New York, in Atlanta, a Boston, or
just Cincinnatians.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
So I show Speed, who's got.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Forty three point eight million followers?

Speaker 3 (00:36):
And I didn't know this. He was a Cincinnati native.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Came back home to the Newport area, went to the
gold Star, and I hopped on and had the chili.
I mean, of course, right, that's like a staple for
anyone coming to the Tri State who has a lot
of followers. People want to know about the chili. I
don't know, it's it always surprises me. It makes me
smile though. In my neighborhood of Mount Adams, up by

(01:01):
the Blind Lemon, before you go down those stairs, there
are three or four plaques on the wall that have
all of the actors' names that have visited the Blind
Lemon and inscribed on the plaque. It's cool to look
at that, like, Wow, I don't know why. It's like
you could go to La or New York. It's just,
you know, like normal to run into celebrities, but not

(01:22):
necessarily here, not that we're even running into them. But
Cincinnati's working really hard to become more relevant in the
movie and television scene. Right that movie Bike Riders with
Austin Butler and Tom Hardy was filmed entirely here. I'm
pretty sure Tom Hardy did jiu jitsu here, so I
thought that was pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
We've got some things.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
We have some things to talk about in Three Things
you Need to Know later on at six fifty.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
We do it every day.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Right around that time, Lady Gaga, who you just heard
on the show, added more tour dates.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Is she coming to Cincinnati. I'll have that and more
three Things on the way good morning.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
Things with tip Good morning.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
If you're in your thirties and you haven't found love yet,
give me a second you might like this or just
before seven o'clock on the tenth of September in the fifties,
right now, we'll bump into the seventies. Beautiful, crispy Blue skies, sunshine,
and we'll feel those warm temperatures through the Bengals game
on Sunday, feeling a little bit more like eighty degrees.
All Right, Before we get to love, let's start off
with Governor Mike Dwaine in Cincinnati yesterday, who he held

(02:28):
a press conference talking about what there how we're going
to partner up with city, state and the FEDS, between
the three branches to curb violence here in Cincinnati.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
We're here today to talk to you about what we
intend to do to target those violent and many many
times repeat violent offenders.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Here's a mere aftab as well.

Speaker 6 (02:54):
High we patrol support will be in a lot of
different areas, and support will be through the entire city
and will be directed based on the investigations that we're
doing and ultimately the enforcement actions that those investigations lead
us to.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Okay, so what does this mean for us?

Speaker 2 (03:13):
So the FEDS, the state, and the city are going
to work together to have this fugitive task for us.
It's going to get the most violent gun offenders off
the street. Now, you've already seen Ohio State patrol a
little bit more than I ever have on some of
our highways, especially up and down seventy one. I would
be very cautious about traveling and speeding because it's going

(03:36):
to be a lot of state patrol taken over those routes,
so that it leaves our officers with a little bit
more bandwidth to work towards getting violent offenders off the street. Separately,
a city council vote is happening today on whether or
not to spend I don't know five or so million
dollars on extending the budget for overtime hours and curfew

(03:57):
centers for youth violence here and Cincy. If there's more
on that one, i'll have it for you all right.
Second and three things you need to know. Selena Gome
is doing some press right now. So she was did
an interview with the Lure magazine. I saw her on
Amy Poehler's podcast, and she had talked about finding love
kind of later in life. Selena Goms is thirty three
years old, Benny Blanco is thirty seven, and when I

(04:19):
say later in life, I just mean outside north of
your twenties. I don't think she's late in life, but
there is this sentiment I don't need to tell you
that if you don't have those things by your mid
thirties or your thirties early thirties, that you're slow and you're.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Doing something wrong, she had said.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
You know, she was asked, Hey, do you wish that
you and Betty Blanco's romance began years ago, five or
ten years ago, and she said, no, I needed time
to mature and learn lessons that made me better and
made me a better partner.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Wishes that they had started earlier, of course, but.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
It he probably wouldn't have even liked who she was
back then because she was still figuring herself out. And
I loved that quote, and I hope it gives you
some inspiration. This morning, she was also on Amy Polar's
podcast where they talked a little bit about her show
Murders Only in the Building with Martin Short and Marty Here.

Speaker 7 (05:13):
She is off used to say, if you are on time,
you're already late.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
So that means I.

Speaker 7 (05:22):
Get to places thirty minutes before, or I've had my
team has had to trick me because I show up
so early. But I like to be prepared to say
hi and.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Not my ADHD could never Her new season of Murders
Only in the Building came out yesterday actually, and it's
on Hulu if you're looking for something to watch. All right,
have been lastly in three things quick quick. The iPhone
seventeen a little roasted yesterday because of the it's thin nature,
It's gonna have better scratch protection. There's the iPhone air

(05:54):
which is super thin, better camera for selfies including a
wide angle, care, better battery life. And then the AirPod
pro threes can translate different languages, so that is available
for pre order and then goes on sale later in
the month. Good morning, That is three things you need
to know.

Speaker 8 (06:13):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Get ready to pour one out for your favorite establishment.
And I'm going to need your help. I've recruited people
that have been here for it. Actually, Bobby, who's our
social media manager, Sarah Elise is here as well. You recognize.
Can you see if Scott Sloan is out there and
call him in if not. Mount Adam's Pavilion is not
only closed, has.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Closed its doors, it is.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Being torn down kind of as we speak. Sarah, at least,
did you have memories at Mount Adams filling.

Speaker 9 (06:46):
Your people in? You've got doing three things?

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Do you have memories from Mount Adam's Pavilion.

Speaker 9 (06:51):
I don't think I've ever been there, and I've lived
in Cincinnati my entire life. Can't say I've a.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
You've never done Pavilion. I was really hoping that you
were going to have some insight on this. Did you
do Pavilion?

Speaker 10 (07:01):
I'm realizing that no, I have not. I used to
go to Yesterday's, though. Does anyone remember Yesterday's the little
music venue there?

Speaker 2 (07:08):
So the only reason why I don't remember it is
because it had They had Pavilion closed its doors essentially
like the month that I moved to Cincinnati from Boston.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
So I had never experienced Pavilion.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
But every time I talk about Mount Adams, people always
bring up Blind Lemon, Yesterday's, the Tavern, and Mount Adams Pavilion.
Scott Sloan from seven hundred, Wow, jump on a mike.
You're the only one in the room that has memories
from that place.

Speaker 11 (07:35):
Listen, I'm gonna tell you, youngster, something.

Speaker 9 (07:38):
You bring in the older gentleman to talk about this.

Speaker 12 (07:40):
Well, our radio station used to be up there, That's yeah, right,
we used to be right down the street. So we
go stumble in there because I worked at night and
we'd stumble in at midnight after my show and go
there for a while. But it's a totally different vibe
like in the last twenty years, twenty five years probably
it's turned into it's a lot younger seen up there.
So but Pavilion wasn't that big a deal when we
were up there though, so it's like, I'm surprise they're

(08:00):
still around. Quite honestly, really, it did a big remout
on twenty fourteen. I know that I spent a lot
of money doing like the new dance floor DJ both just.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Plumbing, ye, plumbing, I think the floor was about to
follow was awesome though, oh.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Sure it is.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
I'm really surprised, Sarah that you don't have experiences at Pavilion.

Speaker 9 (08:18):
I honestly don't. I have more experiences at a Taste
of Belgium and OTR.

Speaker 11 (08:22):
You experienced plenty of bars.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
You're surprised, well, they posted on social it's the end
of an era. Since opening in nineteen seventy three, Mount
Adam's Pavilion was a Cincinnati nightlife landmark. When the owners
of four EG took over in two thousand and two,
it became home to countless theme parties, fireworks, watch parties,
Halloween parties, New Year's Eve blowouts, birthday celebrations, and unforgettable memories.

(08:46):
Pavilion closed its doors in twenty nineteen. The building will
soon be torn down to make way for new developments.
And before it's gone, they were sharing memories and hey,
Michelle was in the comments, our friend Lexi from Palm pr.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
Everyone is like, this is.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Where I got my first bartending job, this is where
I met my husband.

Speaker 12 (09:04):
Nobody goes there to If they start closing stuff, then
everybody everybody a.

Speaker 9 (09:08):
Fan of it and wants to share the memories. Same
thing with uh, you know, we just mentioned Taste of Belgium, peop,
are you know all upset? But it's like when was
the last time you went to Taste of Belgium? And
OTR no never right and Cracker barrels trending again. They're like, look,
we're not doing the remodels, and everyone's like, oh thank god.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
Wait when are you going to go? When are you going?

Speaker 9 (09:29):
I'm taking grandma here in a couple of weeks for
the Sunday Fried Chicken. But are you yeah, they're getting
me back into the restaurant. It's working. I think it's
all a whole stuck. Besides that, well.

Speaker 11 (09:40):
The pavilion no one went to has now gone, and
we're all sad.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
I live in the neighborhood and I've walked by and
I've seen the construction cones out, So it's the end
of an area.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
Here's what I want to do.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Five win, three seven, four nine, one oh seven one,
or talk back with TIF on the iHeartRadio app. The
microphone's in the top right hand corner when you search us.
Please share your pavilion memories with us, because we have
a room full of people that have apparently never gone.

Speaker 8 (10:06):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
You're waking up with TIF in the morning on a
kiss one seven to one commercial free.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
We're in the midst of talking.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
About bars that have closed, that are no longer in Cincinnati,
that hold your memories. And the reason being is because
I saw on social that Mount Adam's Pavilion was getting
It's been closed for years, but it's being torn down
and they made that announcement yesterday and I thought that
would be like a really big deal to Cincinnatians. And

(10:32):
we haven't gotten a single call or talk back about.

Speaker 10 (10:37):
It, right, So, no, I don't think anyone cares. And
that's gonna be quite all right with me. Hopefully what
they build can pay homage to what once was someone's
good memory.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Safety Floors. We found love in a hopeless place. We
really did.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Ah, that's the voice of Bobby, who's our social media manager.
You're curious, so we're just chit chatting about bars that
have closed, those that.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Are no longer that you miss bird Cage. I DJed
there weekly, made.

Speaker 10 (11:07):
A lot of memories there, and at a certain points
bird Cage was body to body with gay men.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
A dream, A dream, a dream.

Speaker 10 (11:15):
There was nothing better than getting home after DJing at
three am at years are ringing, just everyone's sweaty. And
then they closed and announced it on social media on
Christmas Eve to all their employees.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
But drama, am I the drama. I used to love
this place called Forty Thieves, which was inside Holiday Spirits.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
If you've ever been to that bar.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Inside there used to be this delicious Mediterranean place, and
they replaced it with a Senate, which is like a
hot dog place.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Also delicious. Yeah, but not for me. I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
When I'm out, I don't want a hant dog. I
don't I want a hot dog when I'm at like yeah,
but we want them at Fenn We want Fenway Franks,
we want them at the baseball stadium. I don't want
to beat There's be hot and sexy eating a hot
dog hot at the bar in the middle of the night.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
That's totally true. Good morning at your wait, can you
hear me? Okay? Can you hear me?

Speaker 8 (12:10):
Yes?

Speaker 13 (12:10):
You can.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
I'm doing my John You're waking up with Tiff in
the morning on at Kiss one seven one. We're still
commercial free for a little bit longer here, so you
found the right home. We're in the midst of kind
of pouring one out for some of your favorite clubs,
bars or memories here in Cinci that have once or once.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
We're popping and are now closed. By talking about bars
that have closed. Annie's on Kellogg's.

Speaker 14 (12:33):
This was years and years ago.

Speaker 15 (12:35):
I'm showing my age and this wasn't a bar, but
I remember being fifteen and sixteen and going to club Extreme.
This is before you know the huge social media presence.
We would wait till the next morning and see all
of our crazy pictures online The next day that they
would post black eyeliner running down our faces from sweat.

Speaker 16 (12:55):
Over the good times, probably.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Over twenty years ago. Well, thank you so much for
the talk with Tip.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
The microphones in the top right hand corner of the
iHeartRadio app. You two can be a part of my
show for free if you want to leave me voice
notes that story. I loved that because one one or
two things that stood out to me. That is, during
the era when we used to just post raw Facebook
picks with zero editing, album, zero attention to detail. Crazy

(13:24):
just threw those up like crazy insane. Would never do
that now. And then, oh my god, this choke. Second,
that was when we used to go to places and
really dance hard, like it hit the dance floor so hard,
most likely in a like a peplam top and like
a heel.

Speaker 10 (13:39):
I still go out dancing from time to time where
bloom okay, But the lack of dance clubs right is
sad and crazy.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
And that's not just in Cincinnati, that's everywhere. That's the
voice of Bobby, by the way, our social media manager.
If you're curious as to who that voices, he pops
on my show from time to time. Coming up three
minutes from now, let me pull the headline for you.
The key to feeling younger as you get older. Are
these seven a's. Can you do me a favor and

(14:10):
start guessing in your head, like like one or two
of them. Let's see if you can get any of
these seven a's that make you feel younger.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
We're gonna do that in three minutes.

Speaker 8 (14:20):
You're waking up in the morning. Kiss good morning.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
The key to feeling younger as you get older are
these seven a's. I had asked you three minutes to
go to see if you could put together any in
your head and if they matched up to this list
that I found.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Bobby, do you have any guesses?

Speaker 10 (14:36):
Aparo, sprits, acupuncture, ambition, These are very good.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Attitude.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Attitude is number one. Oh my god, Yeah, congratulations, you
got it. Having a positive outlook and a concrete vision
of the future is essential. Coming in at number two
is awareness. When it comes to gathering and and critically
evaluating information, you don't just accept it, You're staying aware.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
It can be tough, you know, twenty four to seven.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
With the new cycle, but keeping up with the latest treatments,
products and services can help health challenges. Coming in at
number three was activity that makes sense. Autonomy.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
I'm going to need you to be more specific thick
on that one.

Speaker 8 (15:22):
We do.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
It's important to maintain physical independence cute like staying in
your home, being in charge of your own finances for
as long as possible. Okay, accomplishment achievements don't have to
stop just because you're getting older. Having goals and working
to reach them is important at any age. And the

(15:48):
last two attachment, loneliness and social isolation negatively impact health
and lifespan. So maintaining relationships and forming new ones is essential.
And I feel can you quote me on if correct
me if I'm wrong on this? Do you feel like
loneliness is big amongst your group of friends?

Speaker 10 (16:07):
My friends? Maybe we all go in our phases, right,
I don't know. I have a very tight knit group
of friends, but I do think we all sometimes ebb
and flow of how interactive we are with each other.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
Which makes sense.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
But I feel like gen Z complains a lot, and
not in a bad way. And when I say complain,
I don't mean that in a negative way about loneliness.
And I see it all the time that loneliness. The
CDC has claimed it's like almost as dangerous as smoking.

Speaker 10 (16:39):
Oh wow, yeah, So don't what happens if you're lonely
and smoke asking for a friend.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
I'm just kidding. The last one is avoidance.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Knowing how to minimize risk from fraud, scams and agism
in the marketplace is a skill that super gaugers have perfect.

Speaker 10 (17:00):
Very specific agism and fraud.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Well you, I mean, how many times has Grandma gotten
you know, the call of the text send Brad Pitt money.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Yeah, and you're like, Grandma.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Why would Brad Pitt be asking for her AMEX gift cards?

Speaker 4 (17:18):
Glynn, you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
Okay, good morning. It was a bloodbath for Arina Grande.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Ticket shoppers yesterday.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
It was just it was mayhem.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Both Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga added more tour dates
to their show runs. Neither of them are coming to Cincinnati. However,
I do have someone that is coming to Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
Give me a hot second.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
We're just before eight o'clock on September tenth, at eight thirty,
I have your chance to win Trance Siberian Orchestra tickets
coming to Cincinnati. But not who I'm talking about. This
announcement is a few days old, but it's new to me.
And if it's new to me. I'm hoping that maybe
it's new to you. The Kroger Wellness Festival just announced

(18:04):
some of their lineup about a week ago. So, like
I said, old news and All American Rejects are coming
to Cincy on Friday, September twenty seventh. And when I
heard this news, I was so hype. You've seen the
marketing that All American Rejects have been doing, right, They
joined the Savannah Bananas. They've been performing in like dorm

(18:26):
room back yards at frat parties as of late.

Speaker 13 (18:39):
Allion so good.

Speaker 15 (18:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
And this, by the way, if you've never been to
the Kroger Wellness Festival, I mean you know it as
like the place where you go and get free samples
of everything. But it is really cool and it's completely
three what down, yo, I'm obsessed. I cannot wait. I

(19:20):
had messed up the date. It's September twenty sixth. Third
Eye Blind is coming on the twenty seventh, and then
other special guests Alex Rodriguez, Rob Low, Lori Hernandez who
is a two time Olympic medalist, Alison Felix who's also
an Olympian. So very cool happens downtown Cincy. It's free,
and it's the last weekend of the month here. September

(19:41):
is a busy one for us. Right, We've got Zincinnati
not this weekend, but next weekend, and then the following
weekend will be the Kroger Wellness Festival.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
All right.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Second, and three things you need to know this morning.
Let's touch base on our Cincinnati Reds. As of right now,
they're three games back from making it into the wild Card.
They beat the Padres yesterday four to two. They're playing
on the West Coast again today at.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
Eight forty pm.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
We now need to leap frog over the Mets and
the Giants, I believe, to get that final wild card
spot into the playoffs. And it would be wonderful to
have the Reds in the playoffs at the same time
as the Bengals are kicking off their season. What a
great energy in all right. And then, lastly, and three
things you need to know this morning. Cardi b making
the Internet giggle yet again. She was on the Jennifer

(20:28):
Hudson Show talking about her kids.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
How many kids like Lord, please control me. You're gonna
pray about it. I'm gonna pray about it, Okay, And
it's gonna come to you where you're gonna put blossoms? Yeah,
and the other one.

Speaker 9 (20:44):
Do you think you're gonna have more kids?

Speaker 15 (20:45):
Yes?

Speaker 13 (20:46):
You are.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
Oh yes, it's like the more kids who have the
less of a possibility you go to like a home.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
Her album, am I the Drama comes out and not
this Friday, it comes out on next Friday. When's the nineteenth? Yeah,
that is next Friday. Next Friday. That'll be her sophomore album.
That is three things you need to know for the
tenth of September coming up at eight thirty. You were
chance to win Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets, So don't go far.

Speaker 8 (21:19):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time, kiss
good morning.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
What advice would you give your younger self? Think about
that and then tell me what it is. Talk back
with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app to get in while
I'm talking. The microphone's in the top right hand. Quinner Bobby,
who's our social media producer? This Friday, uh my parties Friday.
I turned thirty on Monday. Okay, so this coming Monday,

(21:44):
you cross over from twenty nine to thirty.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
Yes, and how are you feeling about that?

Speaker 10 (21:49):
I'm feeling very excited. It's been I did my twenties.
That's what I keep telling people, like I lived my twenties.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
I did it. I'm ready to grow up a little bit.

Speaker 10 (22:00):
It's been a rough year in general for me in
my personal life, so I'm ready. I'm really taking this
opportunity to like make it an intentional turn of the leaf,
new chapter. So yeah, I'm hopeful for the future. There's
a big question mark in front of me of like
what do I want? What do I want to do?

(22:20):
But that can be very exciting as well. Yeah, I'm
feeling good.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
He had asked me, you know, what advice would you
give me? And I had to think about it for
a little while, and I had said, when I was
turning thirty, I feel like I wasn't in the best
place mentally. I had just moved to Cincy, so I
was still building community at the time. My boyfriend lived
in Boston, so I missed him, so I didn't really
start celebrating until thirty five. And looking back in the

(22:47):
last five years, the one thing that I've done that
I think has set me a part in my life
is figure out what my values are. Yes, And it
took me going through something hard like that break up
with that boyfriend and changing and really committing to living
here and leaning into.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
The show and all of the unknown.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
It took all of that for me to kind of
learn that lesson, and there was so much to be
learned during that four ish three ish year period totally.
So I think I'm just on a lot more solid
ground in my personal life by knowing what my values are,
what my needs are, what my strengths are, so that
as I move through life, you know, I am on

(23:28):
just more solid ground.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
So that would be my advice. That is great advice.

Speaker 10 (23:32):
I also feel like after rough periods of my life,
what comes after are always the greatest parts of my life.
That's once you work through something and you grow and
you learn from it and like things really change you.
What happens next is the celebration.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
We call those life quakes on my show. When you
go through a life quake, yes, you come out on
the other side, and if you put the work and
you put the time in and you have the understanding
of yourself, that's the rewards. We call them going I
call them building blueprints. When you build the bloop, you're
just building a new blueprint for everything that you go
through in your life and you can refer back to

(24:08):
it totally.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
So here's what I want to do.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
That was my piece, my two cents, But I'm not
the only one involved. On Tiff in the Morning five
one three seven four nine one seven one, what advice
would you give good morning? You're waking up with TIF
in the Morning on a kiss one o seven to one,
or just a few minutes out from your chance to
win tickets to Trans Siberian Orchestra, you will need the
keyword thirty. They haven't gone on sale yet, so I'm
getting you in before you can even buy them in

(24:33):
the pre sale. Bobby, who's our social media manager, walked
in and said, Tiff, I'm turning thirty this weekend. What
advice do you have for me? And I said, you
know who would do really well with answering this question,
our our Tiff in the Morning community. So we'll start
with you.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
Good morning, Hi, Hi for Bobby.

Speaker 15 (24:54):
Hi.

Speaker 17 (24:54):
Absolutely get a primary care provider if you don't have
one already, I do of yourself. Schedule appointment, keep up
with your appointments. Because you're thirty, bub it goes downhill
from straight tailing down Bob.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
Oh, wow, that is great advice. Thank you. I hope
it's not all doubt. Thanks your name, what neighborhood are
you waking up with?

Speaker 14 (25:17):
Me?

Speaker 16 (25:17):
And Emily?

Speaker 3 (25:18):
Thanks for the call, Gallo, It's good to hear your voice.
Kisan to say one. Good morning, go ahead.

Speaker 16 (25:22):
Good morning, boundaries, Ool, we don't have a spit. Get one.
Everybody deserves somebody to talk to. That is unbiased life.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
I agree.

Speaker 16 (25:36):
I love that and find you like. I feel like
twenties are quantity of friends and not quality. And I
feel like thirty turns into quality and it's just quality
of light.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
I like it.

Speaker 16 (25:49):
And my thirties were much better than my twenties.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
Well that makes me hopeful and excited.

Speaker 16 (25:55):
Thank you, You're quite welcome.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
What's your name? What neighborhood you waking up with?

Speaker 14 (25:58):
Me?

Speaker 16 (25:58):
And girl Heather Independent, Thanks.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
For the call. I appreciated her. Emily said here said
get a doctor. I was so Really you got to
have a realist in the group. Let's check her talkback
since we haven't gotten over there yet.

Speaker 17 (26:19):
Good morning, Tiff.

Speaker 18 (26:20):
I would tell my younger self, I think that women
are often told that we need to climb the ladder
right and reach back and all of those things. I
think that I would tell my younger self that being
a leader is not always a job title, and that
you don't necessarily need to kid the ladder if it

(26:40):
doesn't actually make you happy.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
We've gotten some good advice for sure. How are you
feeling after this? Amazing? And I want to shout out Eric,
I love him? All right? Caller ten.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
If you've got the keyword, hopefully you picked up on
what it was based off of these conversations. You want
to go to transhibeer in the Orchestra. I five went three, seven,
four nine, one oh seven one.

Speaker 3 (27:03):
Good luck.

Speaker 8 (27:05):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on kiss
one oh seven one.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Good morning, Good morning. I'm hoping you have a keyword
for me.

Speaker 17 (27:11):
Hi keyword thirty.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
Congratulations you're going to tree in Siberian Orchestra.

Speaker 13 (27:17):
Thank you.

Speaker 17 (27:18):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
You're so welcome. What's your name? What neighborhood are you
waking up with me? And today my.

Speaker 17 (27:23):
Name is Katie and I'm waking up in park Hill, Katie.

Speaker 3 (27:26):
Thank you for listening to Tiff in the morning.

Speaker 16 (27:28):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
We were just cheating it every morning. Oh I appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
So we're just chit chatting about giving advice to your
younger self.

Speaker 3 (27:35):
Bobby is turning thirty.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
He's our social media manager, and he had asked me, Hey,
you know what, what advice do you have for me? And
I said, you know what, I bet you would have
good advice, So what's yours.

Speaker 8 (27:45):
Don't compare yourself to others?

Speaker 10 (27:47):
That's a great one. I do that too often. Who doesn't, right,
it's hard not to.

Speaker 3 (27:51):
Yeah, well, thank you, it is hard. I appreciate you
calling me.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
You know, I had just looked over at our top
and they've started flooding in at this point. Yeah, so
let's play at least one or two more and maybe
you'll get something out of this too.

Speaker 14 (28:09):
Heykis. If I was going to give Bobby some advice,
it would be to plan for retirement now.

Speaker 16 (28:17):
As much as you love your job, you are.

Speaker 14 (28:19):
Not going to want to do this forever, and you
will want to take a break and travel and do
all the things when you have a little bit more
money because you've worked so hard.

Speaker 16 (28:32):
So plan for retirement now.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
I would love to retire right now.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
You don't want to be on my show for the
rest of your life. No, that was really great advice.
Having a financial advisor, somebody to teach you that teach
you financial literacy or legal literacy in the last in
the next couple of years was super helpful for me
when I was turning from my younger thirties into my
mid thirties. I spent a lot of time figuring that out.
So for sure, I agree read, we've good time for

(29:00):
at least one more.

Speaker 8 (29:05):
If you think he's the love of your life, he's not.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
Period.

Speaker 14 (29:08):
That's it.

Speaker 8 (29:09):
Oh, that's the advice.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
WHOA, I feel like she's going through something And how
did she know?

Speaker 8 (29:17):
Ye?

Speaker 3 (29:17):
How did she know?

Speaker 15 (29:19):
What?

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Whnn you need to know?

Speaker 8 (29:24):
She's got you. It's three things with good morning.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
If you haven't found love in your thirties and that
bothers you, you might like this thing from Selena Gomez. Here,
give me a hot second. We're just before nine o'clock.
Right now, we're sitting I think, right around sixty ish degrees.
Eventually we'll bump into the upper seventies kind of like
we have been actually right below eighty. And then throughout
the rest of the week, the ten dayer just looks beautiful.

(29:49):
And sunny blue skies. Hmmm, I'll take it all right.
So Selena Gomez is doing a little bit of press
right now. Once she sat down with a Loure magazine
for an interview. She also sat on the Amy Polar podcast.
They asked her about her new season of Only Murders
in the Building. By the way, if you're looking for
something good to watch, I highly recommend that show. It's
on Hulu and it just released. I think it's third season,

(30:11):
could have been its fourth season. And in the Allure
magazine interview, she was asked like, listen, you know you're
thirty three, Benny Blanco is thirty seven. Do you do
you wish that you had found each other earlier in life?
And she said no, I'm really glad that my romance
with Benny began when it did and not five or
ten years ago, because I needed time to mature and

(30:34):
to learn lessons that have made me a better partner,
to be able to show up better in my life
and therefore in my relationship. She said that while you know,
sometimes they wish they had started earlier, they there's a
good chance that Benny probably wouldn't have liked her who
she was back then like this version of Selena is

(30:55):
the best version, and that really resonated with me, so
I hope it sticks with you as well. She also
sat down with Amy Poehler and they talked about the
new season of Only Murders in the Building.

Speaker 7 (31:06):
Here she is boys to say, if you are on time,
you're already late. So that means I get to places
thirty minutes before, or I've had my team has had
to trick me because I show up so early. But
I like to be prepared and to say hi and

(31:27):
not be rushed. The feeling of being rushed is very stressful.
But then on top of it, I start working with
Steven Marty and they really you know, spearhead the whole.
You know, they started the pyramid and everything happens, and
they just they are so professional. They make everyone feel good.
They lighten up any room, even if it's a serious scene.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
Let me tell you this right now, someone who has
time blindness and who is Nora divergent, I won't be
showing up anywhere early.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
That rule never will apply to me.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
And if it doesn't apply to you too, I got
you second and three things you need to know this morning.
The iPhone seventeen reveal party was yesterday, not me thinking
that it was going to be the Super Bowl halftime
performer announcement when they kept teasing that, you know, on
September ninth, we're gonna have an announcement. It was about
the new iPhone. The internet is giggling over the fact

(32:22):
that it is super thin. It's called the iPhone Air.
It has a better camera for selfies, including a wide
angle camera so you don't have to turn the phone
around anymore.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
Battery life will improve.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
There's also AirPod pro Threes, which can translate languages for
you in real time, so if you travel abroad, you
can have a conversation with someone and it'll be translated
in your AirPods as you go, which I thought was
pretty cool. What I thought was funny is that Samsung.
I was interneting the entire time and just trolling all

(32:57):
over iPhone. And you might agree with me on this
that you know, Androids and Samsung's, although they're green bubbles,
they have the better camera. They always have, they always have,
but iPhone has just cornered the market with you know,
ease of use and imassaging. And that's why I use it.
They do go on pre order the twelfth, and then

(33:18):
they go on sale later in the month. The price
will run you about nine hundred and something dollars for
the seventeen and then the pro will be in the thousands.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Pretty typical.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
And then, lastly, in three things you need to know
this morning, the Reds ended up winning yesterday against the Padres. Okay,
we are down to like maybe fifteen or sixteen games
left in the season, and the hunt for our wild
card position is actually still alive for three games out
and at this point we kind of need to leapfrog
the Mets and the Giants whatever that means, so that

(33:49):
we can make it into the playoffs. And I just
think it'd be lovely to have the Reds make the
postseason because it's been a very long time, and then
have the Bengals play at the same time. That is
three things you need to know for the tenth of September.
I appreciate you listening to Tiff in the morning. The
best way to continue to do so is by searching
Kiss one O seven one on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 8 (34:09):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time. Kiss one.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
I just want to say you will not be disappointed
with the Only Murders in the Building. It's a great show.
Watch it. Hi, thank you so much for the talkback
with Tiff.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
The microphones in the top right hand corner of the
iHeartRadio app if you want to be with us and
leave us voice notes every morning we were just chit
chatting in three things. You need to know that Selena
Gomez has put out the newest season of Murders Only
in the Building on Hulu, which is good because we've
been a little dry as far as television shows go.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
And bold Bobby and I still haven't watched Unknown Number.
I did you did? I watched it two nights ago, so.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
Bobby's our social media manager Sarah was in and out
of here like last week, saying, if you haven't watched
Unknown Number, you're crazy. By now, I think I might
have read a spoiler or alert based on the fact
that people keep talking about it.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
I already knew what.

Speaker 10 (35:03):
Happened because it was a huge news story when it
happened a few years ago.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
Where did it happen in Michigan? Okay? Question markus you're
not sincey I thought it? No, it's not Cincinnati, Okay.
Overall thoughts was it wild? It is a wild story,
But why don't you give me the baseline without spoiling it?

Speaker 10 (35:25):
Okay, So there's a couple and they're in early high
school and the girlfriend starts getting actually both of them
start getting anonymous texts from a number that they don't
have and don't know, and they just become increasingly insane
like bullying at first, basically telling the girlfriend the boyfriend
doesn't like her and he would rather be with the

(35:48):
unknown number person. But then it got very like explicit
and creepy, sending very sexual details that only like someone
in their close circle would know. It became this ongoing investigation.
It like went on for like months and months and months,
and then you find out who it was.

Speaker 3 (36:09):
It were any legal were there any legal repercussions? Yes?
Oh there were?

Speaker 2 (36:14):
Oh yes, but you are'd already kind of no, I
already knew, did it because you followed the news story correct?

Speaker 15 (36:20):
Well?

Speaker 3 (36:20):
Would you recommend?

Speaker 15 (36:21):
Then?

Speaker 3 (36:22):
It's sure.

Speaker 10 (36:23):
Sarah came in here and said, like, this is a
quick watch, especially if you do it on like one
point two five speed like I did.

Speaker 3 (36:29):
Just I love doing that. Do you watch TV at
one point?

Speaker 13 (36:32):
Too?

Speaker 15 (36:32):
Fun?

Speaker 3 (36:32):
Sometimes? Really, I've never done that. It's amazing. Is that
a setting on Roku? On Netflix itself? Really? Yeah?

Speaker 13 (36:42):
Stop?

Speaker 3 (36:43):
I didn't. I don't have a Netflix log in. Oh well,
then don't worry about that. Okay, well don't worry about
the show. What else did we get here?

Speaker 9 (36:48):
You should definitely watch only Murders in the Building.

Speaker 3 (36:51):
It's so good.

Speaker 17 (36:52):
Last December, when I was on my school vacation, I
binged all four seasons in a week and a half.

Speaker 3 (36:59):
Okay, so there are four seasons? Do you watch? I
watched the first two and I love to Why do
we do that?

Speaker 13 (37:05):
Why do we do this?

Speaker 10 (37:06):
Because now I need to go back and watch the
first two in order to keep following exactly.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
It's so good? Though? Why did I stop?

Speaker 7 (37:12):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
It's I will get eighty percent of the way through
a show and then never look back ever again.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
Same.

Speaker 7 (37:20):
What is that?

Speaker 3 (37:22):
It's messed up?

Speaker 10 (37:23):
I think there's just an influx of content to absorb,
so like, here's over it and there's so many streaming apps,
I forget what I'm watching. I'll have to like set
reminders like watch this show because you started it and
you liked it.

Speaker 15 (37:34):
How that?

Speaker 2 (37:35):
I don't how twenty twenty five of Oh I Love
Love Love that song on at You're waking up with
TIV in the morning on Kiss one O seven one,
speaking of my house? Did you know that Kiss one
O seven to one and the Dent Schoolhouse are teaming
up to spookify your house. I've already seen a few
in various neighborhoods with the twelve foot skeleton. The new

(37:56):
one is the twelve foot skeleton where but it's only
the top half.

Speaker 3 (38:00):
You know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
You've seen that right when we are celebrating Halloween here
by trying to spookify your house. If you go to
Kiss Cincinnati dot com under our contest page, you can
enter there to get you know, some cash from Dent
and Kiss one oh seven one to help put together
the best Halloween decorations on the block. Like I said
at Kisscincinnati dot com, all right, coming up in three

(38:23):
minutes in the daily Debrief, if you were to give
yourself one piece of advice to your younger self, I
should say, what would you tell yourself?

Speaker 3 (38:31):
I'll get to that next.

Speaker 8 (38:35):
You're waking up with Ki good morning.

Speaker 2 (38:38):
If you could give your younger self a piece of advice,
what would you tell yourself you're walking into the daily
debrief right around the time every day. I choose one
of the bigger things that we talked about. And Bobby,
who's our social media manager jumps on the show every
once in a while, is turning thirty. And he had
asked me, Hey, what piece of advice do you have
for me? And so we were kind of going back

(38:59):
on fourth on that and I said, you know who
would be really good at giving advice, you would, So
we're checking some of our talkbacks.

Speaker 19 (39:08):
Advice I have for turning thirty would be to focus
on you. I feel like in our twenties it is
all about just following what everybody else is doing and
not really finding ourselves. And I feel like thirty is
finding yourself, being in control and doing what you want

(39:30):
to do and surrounding yourself with those you want to
surround yourself with.

Speaker 3 (39:34):
That was really good advice. And thank you for the
talkback with Tiff.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
It's an alternative way to be a part of our
TIF in the morning community every day. The microphone is
in the top right hand corner when you search kiss
on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
We got into a lot of really cool advice that
kind of ran.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
The gambit, like from one thing over here to over
here you would, I mean everything kind of came in
on the show this morning. So if you have some
free time today, maybe you'll spend some time outside on
your lunch break. Absolutely gorgeous out there, and you have
a pair of headphones or something. Search Tiff in the
Morning on the iHeartRadio app to get caught up and
be a part of the conversation every day.

Speaker 1 (40:09):
Happy Wednesday, You're waking up with Tip in the morning.
Gone kiss one, Give Mary Nan, Give Mary Nan. I'm
pulling up the pole that I put on Instagram yesterday.
If we're not connected, I'm at the Tiff to F's
Potter like the Wizard.

Speaker 3 (40:29):
I'd love to have you.

Speaker 2 (40:31):
I had put up a pole that asked if you
had gone to jungle gyms before, and I'm pulling up
the results for the first time. Okay, ninety six percent
of Cincinnatians said that they have gone to jungle gyms,
while only four percent have not. Wow, I was one
of those four percent up until this past Sunday. I

(40:55):
don't know what took me so long. And you know
what I thought The Eastgate Locations is my bat. I
thought the east Gate location was the original that's when
I went to, but apparently I'm learning from you that
it was.

Speaker 3 (41:05):
The Fairfield one.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
I've lived here for nearly seven years and it made
my way out there yet, So thanks for popping into
another tiff tries it. I will go anywhere that you
tell me to. Mostly if you and I aren't connected,
I'd love to have you on socially. Hey, and we're
back tomorrow. I was gonna stay safe for the Friday show,
but God, I think my brain is trying to fast
forward through the week just to get to our first

(41:26):
Bengals home over Burner, So we're not quite there yet.
Tomorrow's Thursday, we'll have Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets.

Speaker 3 (41:31):
John John's got you for those this afternoon.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
And speaking of John John, just a reminder if you
are going down to the Bengals tailgate this Sunday is
stop by John John's Jungle Zone. It's more so on
the Bank's side, but it is one of my favorite
places to parties, so do not miss it. Thanks so
much for stopping by.
