Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, just one.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Good morning. I know you've seen those videos of a
girl too ish days before a vacation and how there's
just so much to get done. I'm her this morning.
I've been getting up at like three o'clock to just
work and get more stuff done in my life. I
find that I'm a little bit more productive in the
morning around three and four than i am let's say
(00:28):
two thirty and three o'clock in the afternoon. That's the
way I operate. Not everyone's like that, although I assume
if you get up early right now for work unless
you absolutely hate it, you could see where I was
coming from. But a girly getting ready to go on
a trip is on a motion. If you didn't know
this and we're not connected on social I would love
(00:49):
to have you because I'm getting ready to go on
my very first solo trip to Europe to Ireland this
coming Friday night, and I'll be there for a week.
The original purpose of the trip, outside of wanting to
experience this solo, just this new thing for me. It's
brand new. It's the first time I've done something like this,
(01:10):
is that there's also a wedding, so I'll go for
a little while by myself. I'll meet up some people
for a wedding and then go on the rest of
the trip solo. But I say, and we've talked about
that a ton on the show, so you can get
caught up on the podcast, et cetera. But I mean,
there's just so much to do. The ladies know, the nails,
the hair, the packing. Luckily, I'm going to Ireland, where
(01:31):
I'll be wearing probably clothes that we were wearing in April,
in May, and hell, probably even the beginning of June
because some other nature's been out to lunch so there
was no need for like a spray tan. But the girlies, no,
the girlies no getting ready for a trip. There's just
so much to do workwise, life wise, per well, life wise,
personal wise, and men have absolutely no idea. I bet
(01:52):
if some a guy was going on this same trip,
knowing that he was leaving Friday night, he'd put his
out of office on pack a bag maybe around three
thirty in the afternoon and just head on out to CBG.
For us, not quite the same. I mean, there's just
so much to get done.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
And I'm the.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Type of person that likes to clean the house. I
like to clean up and get organized before I go
on a trip like that. So I am on it.
We are caffeinated, we are alive, we are well, and
we are up at the crack of dawn. Coming up
later on in the show, we're going to continue to
stamp your Sincy Summer passport with all your local favorites.
I mean it's packed. Seven thirty, I have your chance
(02:31):
to win FIFA tickets, eight thirty your chance to Live
Wayne tickets. And then in our nine o'clock hour, you
shot at one thousand bucks in a free trip to Vegas.
I say it all the time, but search Kiss one
oh seven one on the iHeartRadio app and make us
your number one preset so you don't miss.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip on. Well, good morning.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
We have a lot to get to, so we'll dive
right in. Today is Wednesday, June eleventh. Ali like out
there with temperatures right now in the upper sixties, will
hit closer to eighty. It again today with lower humidity
and temperatures. Like I said in the eighties, partly Claudie's
guys Okay, we heard, and I would say finally, we
finally heard from Chief of Police Teresa the to Gee
(03:16):
yesterday after Sarah Herringer, who is the wife of the
tragic murder of Patrick Caringer down in Finley. By now
you're very familiar with the story, just in case you haven't,
hearn he was murdered inside his home after a man
who was released on parole was wielding a night through
OTR breaks in, there's an altercation, stabs him, he dies.
(03:38):
This person, his name is Mordecai, was you know, out
on parole and chopped his ankle monitor off and no
one knew about it. And essentially after Sarah met with
Mary Aftab yesterday and a Chief of Police, Teresa the
di g you know, I think she aired out her grievances,
and I get one hundred percent get where she's coming from,
(03:59):
and I get a little bit where the city is
coming from. Where they say, hey, we had no idea
that this man was autumn parole and chopped his ankle
monitor off. So they're kind of pushing it more towards
the prison bureau and pushing it more towards the state.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
Law enforcement is only one part of the public safety puzzle.
When we arrest and charge violent offenders, there must be
clear policies and procedures in place to manage their reintegration
into society. The fact that he was able to commit
this crime is deeply troubling. Although he served more than
(04:36):
nine years in prison, his actions clearly show he was
not prepared to re enter society. This raises difficult and
important questions, questions I am committed to addressing as your chief.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
By the way, this was done via video. There is
no press conference or anything where she took questions. I'll
play one more clip for you.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
We do not have a crystal ball. We cannot always
predict when or where violence will strike. What we can
do and will do is continue to serve as a
barrier between good and evil.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
You know, you keep kind of coming across this statement
of where there was only one police officer in OTR.
I don't have confirmation on that, and she didn't address
that specifically, but she did mention that they were understaffed.
I'll keep you posted second in three things you need
to know, speaking of being in the courtroom, etc. Let's
talk about Emily Nutley. This is a big story yesterday
on whether or not she was going to get the
full ten year sentence for having sexual relations with a
(05:35):
student at Saint X, so that's what the prosecution was
going for. She was sentenced to three years in a
prison here in Ohio. I believe it's a medium security prison.
She was also ordered to serve five years of probation
following her sentence and register as a Tier three sex
offender every ninety days for the rest of her life.
If you don't know about this story, Emily Nutley is
(05:55):
somewhat new to me as well. Was caught sending text
messages and having sexual relations in her office with a
seventeen year old student. So when there's more, if there
happens to be, I'll have that for you. And then, lastly,
in three things you need to know, simply because I
think that this story is going to be all over
your feed, we have an update on the LA riots.
Things were a little bit more quiet yesterday as the
(06:19):
LA Mayor declared a state of emergency and put a
curfew into place.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
I wanted to let the city know that I have
declared a local emergency and issued a curfew for downtown
Los Angeles to stop the vandalism to stop deluding many and.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
You know, and all of this due to ice rays
and people being just furious and Gavin Newso mys furious
because the government is and Madonald Trump is sending in
troops of all different kinds, and you know, there's a
lot to digest. I totally understand that there's a lot
of things to scroll past on social media, so be
aware of what you're consuming. There's also a lot of looting.
(07:01):
I did see a video this morning of people breaking
into an Apple store.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
If you do not live or work in downtown La,
avoid the area. Law enforcement will arrest in the visuals
who break the curfew and you will be prosecuted.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
All right, that's the latest on that. I'll keep you posted.
I think California is just the first of many states
that will see you know something similar. That is three
things you need to know for six eleven, twenty twenty five.
Baby temperatures gonna be gorgeous again today coming up at
seven forty. Your chance to win FIFA Cup tickets when
they come here next week. We're going to stamp your
(07:37):

What's your non negotiable in dating? And I think this
is so unique in what's the phrase I'm looking for?
It's based off of who you are as a person, right,
it's individualized.
Speaker 16 (15:34):
There you go.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
That's the word I was looking for. Non Negotiable is
the keyword you're going to need to win the FIFA Cup.
Tickets I have for you for next week at TQL
Stadium as we get ready to stamp her Sinc. Summer passport.
We'll do that right before seven forty this morning. Okay,
So the movie The Materialist is coming out, which is
a dating movie involving Pedro Pascal, Chris Evans, and Dakota
(15:58):
Dakota Johnson. I love her. Dakota Johnson and Sabrina Carpenter
are in the same bucket for me, where they're just
batties with a good sense of humor and the day
the movie is all about. She's a matchmaker and she's
trying to set people up on dates. I'm really looking
forward to seeing it comes out this Friday and I'll
definitely be going. But they were asked, what are your
(16:20):
non negotiables in dating? So I'll play a clip and
I want you to start thinking about yours, because ultimately
that's where the conversation is going to go this morning,
and you can always get a jump on it by
talking back with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 12 (16:33):
What's the non negotiable?
Speaker 2 (16:35):
I would say, you must love dogs, Oh god, love dogs.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
You're not a dog person. What are we doing?
Speaker 12 (16:40):
Okay, well, Dakota, and you check that box. I don't
like not an.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
That's that's concise. Okay, that's it.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
That's the only non negotiable. Head and nailed it. I
would say my too. Now that I'm in the dating world,
and I've discovered this over time, I didn't really know
what they were until I got into it. But number one,
communication is a big non negotiable for me, just the
general art of conversation. That's such a trend on TikTok too,
because a lot of guys are not conversationalists quite like
(17:13):
women are, and so the whole trend of make men
curious again. I've fallen into that rabbit hole, but I
believe it. And then my second one is a good
sense of humor. If we're not giggling together, we're not
laughing together, or you're not. If I am not the
funniest person you've ever met, then I don't think we
are as compatible as we could be. Those are my
two non negotiables. What are yours?
Speaker 22 (17:33):
I love this topic.
Speaker 18 (17:35):
I think one of my big non negotiables is you
have to have something going on, and you have to
have hobbies, you have to have passions, you have to
have things that will keep.
Speaker 23 (17:45):
You motivated and occupied that are not the relationship.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Yeah, that's my thought. I really appreciate that. Thank you
for the talk back with TIF. You two can be
a part of the conversation. I already mentioned it, but
just as a reminder, it's an alternative way. My your
phone is in the top right hand corner. You hold
that down. You can leave me a voice no when
you search kiss on iHeartRadio. I do agree with that.
That's a good one, you know, as you Yeah, having
(18:12):
your own thing individualism, I think it leads to a
better couple. But again, these non negotiables are all very
individualized based on who you are and what you desire,
what your values are, what your needs are. Five one, three, seven,
four nine one oh seven. One is the second way
you can get in touch with me. Non negotiable is
the keyword. You're gonna eat for the FIFA tickets coming
up just before seven forty. I'd love to hear from you.
(18:34):
Good morning. You're waking up with Tiff in the morning
on Kiss one oh seven one. What are your dating
non negotiables?
Speaker 24 (18:40):
I think is to have humor on both sides.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Actually, ye, having jokes, laughing with your significant other is
the best thing.
Speaker 12 (18:48):
You got.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Caught off there a little bit, and thank.
Speaker 8 (18:50):
You for the talk.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
Aback what Tiff, I know you got go a lot
going on on this this morning.
Speaker 16 (18:53):
Here.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
The reason why we're talking about this is The Materialist
is coming out this Friday. It's got Dakota Johnson, Chris
Evan's and Peter Pascal in it. And Dakota Johnson plays
a matchmaker. So she was asked what her biggest non
negotiables are, and Chris Evans was asked the same thing.
His is being a dog lover, which I think we'll
come up at some point in the show. But if
(19:14):
you're just walking into the conversation, that's what you're walking
into this morning, just.
Speaker 22 (19:18):
Talking about non negotiables. My husband I actually discussed this
on our first date and I told him one of
my non negotiables was not to be a picky eater,
because I love to eat and drink.
Speaker 12 (19:28):
Well.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
He lied and Tolmy wasn't a pick eater.
Speaker 22 (19:30):
And now ten years later, I am married to him
and now have to put cheese on only half our dinner.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Love you, Thank you.
Speaker 25 (19:38):
Hey.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
At least you're, you know, someone that can still make
it work even if the non negotiable came and went.
Speaker 26 (19:43):
I find a negative attitude is such a turn off.
Constantly complaining about things. I mean, I know life is
tough and everything, but yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
I get where you're coming from too. I think these
are also very individualized, you know, based off off of
your personality. We got time for one quick one. By
the way, non negotiable is the key word that you're
gonna need to win the FIFA tickets for next week
coming up in just a few minutes.
Speaker 24 (20:09):
Not wanting to date the youngest child. I am a
mental health counselor. I've always been interested in birth order.
But I thinking of my own four kids, and my
oldest is twenty five and he is the best boyfriend
to his girlfriend in the world, So considerate.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Hi, good morning. You're waking up with TIF in the
morning on Kiss one seven one. Finally, we're hearing from
the guys on this show this morning. What are your
dating non negotiables?
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Lay Tiff the morning from the cold beer ya. Main
non negotiable would be being a smoker. Definitely, No, can't
stand the smell.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Thank you for the talkback with Tiff. I was waiting
for us to get one of those what's yours good morning.
My non negotiable is lazy.
Speaker 6 (20:55):
They cannot be lazy.
Speaker 12 (20:59):
That is the biggest turn off.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Thank you for the talk back with Teff. The reason
why we're talking about this this morning, if you're just
walking into the conversation for the first time, Hello, the
Materialist is coming out on Friday. With Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal,
Chris Evans and indie interviews leading up all the press,
they were talking about what their non negotiables are. Chris
(21:23):
Evans is a dog lover. Dakota Johnson was like, in
so many words, just don't be an ass, you know
which I think everyone likes just in general, right.
Speaker 27 (21:31):
Dating non negotiables. This might be a hot take, but
for me, I really pay attention to someone's teeth. And
this isn't just the people I'm dating, Like I pay attention.
I look at everyone's teeth because denti hygiene is so important.
If you don't take care of your teeth, like those
back to your affections can lead to your heart and
cause you to die from an infection around your heart
coordinating our disease. I know it's expensive to see a dentist, but.
Speaker 23 (21:55):
It is so important.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Wow, you really took that in a direction. I was
not planning on going this morning. I mean, health is wealth, baby,
but you are clearly one of your values is being
concerned about your partner, which hey, I had mentioned this earlier.
I think non negotiables are very individualized based on the person.
We got time for at least one more. By the way,
non negotiable is the keyword. You're gonna need to win
(22:18):
the FIFA World Cup tickets at TQL for next weekend,
coming up here in a few minutes.
Speaker 24 (22:23):
Not wanting to date the youngest child.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
Oh we already talked about that. That one was that
was interesting to me. All right, well more, we got time.
Speaker 18 (22:29):
Here we go.
Speaker 16 (22:30):
Honestly, my non negotiable at this point in my life
is breathing and taller than five to three.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on kiss
one O seven one, Good morning.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
We're stamping your sincy summer passport all summer long, but
all show long. Today. I've got something for you every
hour to get you out the house and enjoying your
summer vacation, your chance to go to the FIFA World
Cup Qualifier games at TQL Stadium right now, if you
have the keyword that I mentioned earlier in the show,
you can start dialing five one three seven four nine
(23:05):
one oh seven one. Okay, good luck on that one.
We're in the midst of talking about your dating non negotiables.
Speaker 28 (23:13):
My non negotiable is harder to spot right off the bat,
but it's a non negotiable. Someone who can't take responsibility
for anything. Z always someone else's fault sways, someone else
did it to them. Now it's never them, even if
it's a small thing or a big thing. They just
can't take responsibility for anything and it makes me crazy.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
That was a good one. Thank you for the talk
back with TIF. You two can jump in on our
conversation as you go about your summer vacation on the
go when you search kiss on iHeartRadio. Hopefully you have
a little hint as to what the keyword was if
you're just walking into the convo. I do have one
more open phone line for these FIFA tickets it's going
to be a really cool experience next week at TQL
five one, three, seven, four nine one oh seven one.
(23:57):
In the meantime, I'm still commercial free. Good morning.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on kiss
when seven one.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Good morning, Good morning. I'm hoping you have a keyword
for me, non negotiable. Congratulations, my gal. You just want
a pair of tickets to the FIFA World Cup Games
next week.
Speaker 12 (24:13):
That is awesome.
Speaker 23 (24:14):
My daughters please sp excited.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Yeah, I and Bluetooth. Can you take me off? Okay,
here we go, my gal, she's back. What's your name?
What neighborhood? You waking up with me and Aaron?
Speaker 9 (24:24):
Aaron?
Speaker 2 (24:24):
Do you well? Thank you for listening to Tiff in
the morning.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
Thank you.
Speaker 7 (24:27):
I love it.
Speaker 8 (24:28):
It gets me to work every day.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
I really appreciate that it feels very quiet out in
Cincinnati in this seven o'clock hour. I think now that
we're in summertime, people are just getting organized. So I
appreciate you waking.
Speaker 19 (24:38):
Up with me.
Speaker 25 (24:39):
No problems.
Speaker 12 (24:40):
I'm just sitting in traffic. I get it.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Do you have a non negotiable since we were just
chit chatting about it?
Speaker 12 (24:45):
Non negotiable at this point in time. I just need
someone that's kying.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Oh that is a very simple yet effective one. Thank
you for sharing. You know, I appreciate you waking up
with us. So we'll continue to stamp here since Summer
Passport coming up at eight thirty with a sh at
Lil Wayne tickets. That's a big show. And if you
while I have you, if you can trade me three minutes.
Speaking of traffic, you have a bought that nightmare on
Fort Washington Way last night? Oh my god, I'll have
(25:11):
that and more coming up in Three Things next When
you need to know she's got you, It's three Things
with Tip. Hey, good morning. We are going to talk
about new music from Gracie Abrams. In a hot second,
you can go in what are you doing? Sarah's coming
into the show? Hold on, it's just before eight o'clock. Though,
(25:34):
a reminder, we're gonna stamp here Sincy Summer Passport around
eight thirty is this morning, with a pair of tickets
to see Lil Wayne. Baby. Before we get there, let's
start a stop off at the latest with the Herringer case.
You know, I always feel for Sarah. Of course, her
husband tragically murdered in OTR. I'm sorry an Finley market
about it. Actually exactly a week ago and up until
(25:57):
this point we hadn't heard from police chief at Terre Thedogy.
Sarah did meet with Mayor Aftab and the police chief
of police yesterday and you know, I'm assuming had a
chance to really speak what was on her heart and
what was on her mind, and it sounds like it
was a little bit of like not pointing fingers in
(26:19):
blame because I one hundred percent understand where she's coming from,
and then I can see where the city is coming from.
Where they're essentially saying, listen, the state never told us.
There's a lack of communication. Communication is a big thing
for me, but communication between the parole board and the
and the police and the state that this guy was
out and not wearing his ankle monitor, so no one
(26:41):
communicated that to them. Teresa, the DIAGI did release a
video yesterday. There was no press conference or anything, but
here she is.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
We do not have a crystal ball. We cannot always
predict when or where violence will strike. What we can
do and will do is continue to serve as a
barrier between good and evil.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
There's gonna be a lot of conversation around this this summer.
As we you know, gun violence is down, but violent
crimes are up. Just in case you're like, wait a minute,
what's happening here? Merdekia Black was released after almost ten
years in prison, out on parole, chopped his ankle monitor
off and then was spot on video like wielding a
knife through OTR just breaks into this this family's home,
(27:24):
It gets into an altercation, stabs him and Patrick passes away.
And you know, I don't have any details on a
service or anything, but I will keep you in the
loop when I know more. And I'm just thinking of
the family in the community, all right. Second and three
things you need to know this morning. Tragic incident last
night on a motorcycle. Hey, we're in motorcycle season and
I think as drivers we need to be aware. My
best friend Ali Martin is a motorcycle driver. And then
(27:46):
as the motorcyclist also need to be aware as well,
because I have seen them on seventy one whipping in
between people. But a motorcyclist died last night, oh after
falling over the side of that fifty overpass on Fort
Washington Way, crashed into the barrier and was wearing a helmet.
I'm hearing that he was speeding thirty years old. I
(28:07):
don't have a name on it for you this morning,
but fell over the side and the motorcycle fell on
top of him, and I'll be thinking to him as
well in his family and just a tragic incident, so
he'll be safe. My dad always says it when I
leave the house. Be careful, be careful, be careful, all
right it And lastly, in three things you need to
know this morning, maybe a little taste of what we
could get for new music Friday tomorrow, Gracie Abrams shared
(28:30):
a snippet of a new song on TikTok. I don't
have a name for you, but here it is, I'll
need you.
Speaker 19 (28:47):
So I know.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
I like the sound of that. At this point, I'm
now constantly like, who's going to be in the running
for the tiff in the morning song of summer. We've
got a few still to sue to tell keep your
ears open, all right? That is three things you need
to know to get your day started. And sincey for
the eleventh of June, I'm gonna stamp here since the
summer passport with those wain tickets coming up at eight thirty.
(29:11):
Make a kiss one oh seven one, your number one
pre set on the newly upgraded iHeartRadio app to make
things a little easier on you so you don't miss it.
Good morning, you're waking.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
Up in the kiss.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Well miss update on Sarah at least not well gal.
I mean, there's been a lot of things that have
happened in OTR recently that have people horrified. But oh yeah, but.
Speaker 29 (29:35):
I I can't unsee what I saw, Like it's all
I keep thinking about this morning, like I'm not okay.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
It made me cry. We laugh to keep from crying
a lot on this show, but you I'm.
Speaker 29 (29:45):
Not even at that point out where I can laugh
because it was so sad. It was so traumatizing.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
Sarah is out to lunch, and I'll let her tell
a story. But a car ran over a squirrel right
in front of where you were sitting.
Speaker 12 (29:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 29 (29:58):
He was leaping around in a tree like super living
his life on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon, gathering God knows
what for his little family. I'm sure he said I'll
be back in five minutes to work. He had, you know,
the little nuts under his little arm. And he jumps
down onto the road. And again I'm sitting there, I'm
paying for my parking. I look and I'm just watching
the squirrel. I wish I wouldn't have, but yeah, So
(30:19):
then he jumps down and he's in the road and
kind of like getting out because I guess he could
see or hear the car comeing whatever.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
And the car comes and.
Speaker 29 (30:27):
Clips his little he gets clipped I don't know, his
foot or something. And then he kind of, you know,
he kind of gets up. He looks dizzy and does
this little spin move and then reaches his little arm
out to try to walk, and then just heels over
right there and I see all the blood.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
Oh my god, it was traumatizing.
Speaker 29 (30:45):
I've never seen an animal die like I've seen, obviously
the road kill and you see the aftermath.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
There's a deer on seventy one south right now. Oh yeah,
legs up and everything. But I've never seen like the
act of it. And I'm the car of obviously, I
had no idea this. Oh it didn't know. He just
kept going.
Speaker 29 (31:00):
I mean I would have turned around and tried to
bring him back to life, but I mean, he's dead.
He's it's gone.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Imagine Sarah doing CPR on a squirrel. Oh right there
in OTR. It is kind of horrifying. Have you you've
never hit an animal before?
Speaker 29 (31:14):
I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
I've not, well, I can't say never, Like maybe I've
hit a squirrel. You're not supposed to swerve. You are
supposed to just run them over because it could technically
cause like a stun accident.
Speaker 29 (31:23):
Like if I well, and if I see an animal,
especially like the geese walking around Kenwood, I'd just come
to a complete stop. And I think most people try
to do that. It's better to stop than to swerve.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
Five one three seven four nine one oh seven one.
If you've had a run in legitimately with an animal
reminds me of my best friend Alison told me a
story recently when we were out for a run that
she had this really bad deer accident. Oh and it
was a it was a buck, so they had the horns,
and she crashed into the deer obviously in the horns
(31:56):
the antlers is the word I'm looking for, crashed through
the windshield and like came up really close to her face.
It's a final servive. Oh yeah, you know what's so
Ohio though, and so Cincinnati is that as soon as
she got out and got into the ambulance or whatever
they did. Some police officer someone at the scene was like,
are you going to take that dear home? Oh my gosh,
(32:17):
she's no inod morning. You're waking up with Tiff in
the morning on a kiss one oh seven one, stamping
your Sincy summer passport with a chance at Little Wayne
tickets at eight thirty. You'll need the keyword. I think
I said animal right in our last break. The reason
why a friend of mine, Sarah rather at last you
guys are familiar with her voice. She had came in
(32:39):
and said that she was a little unwell because she
ran let's start over, I'm caffeinated. She was sitting on
Vine Street and OTR and she was paying for her
parking when someone ran over a squirrel right in front
of her, and she's like, can't get it out of
my head. So we're talking about bizarre animal encounters here.
(33:00):
Good morning.
Speaker 30 (33:01):
I mean Sam, I was just calling about the animal encounter.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Yes, please share more with me.
Speaker 30 (33:07):
So my daughter, or when I was younger, my father
and my mother were driving us in one of the
older vans and a deer jumped in the side window
and then throw the back passenger or jumped in the
pastor's side window, the middle window and jumped out the
rear driver's side window.
Speaker 12 (33:26):
How did iteah like?
Speaker 2 (33:28):
First of all, that is precision, and second how did
it fit?
Speaker 19 (33:33):
It was?
Speaker 30 (33:33):
It was when it was back I was probably it's
probably twenty years ago. So it was when the vans
were bigger.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Oh okay, okay, okay, jump it jumped in like.
Speaker 30 (33:41):
The sliding door window and jumped out like freaked out
and jumped out the smaller window.
Speaker 19 (33:46):
In the back.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
That's nuts. What notes your name? What neighborhood you waking
up with?
Speaker 7 (33:49):
Men?
Speaker 30 (33:50):
My name is Felicia and no I'm from Hebron.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
Thank you so much for calling Tiff in the morning. Gal,
I appreciate you taking the time. Thanks, thank you.
Speaker 12 (33:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
Growing up in New England, going up to Maine and
going up to you know, those New England towns, seeing
moose was always really common and those things are wild
to see in the wild. Like whoa you hit a moose?
You're unwell? Okay, give me three minutes. You have a
chance to win Lil Wayne tickets with the keyword animal
coming up next. Good morning, You're.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
Waking up with Kiff in the morning on Kiss one
O seven to one.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
Open up a crispy new page today, Cincinnati Summer Passport,
because I'm putting the Lil Wayne stamp in there right now.
Call her ten. If you have the keyword that I
mentioned earlier in the show, you can start dialing five
one three, seven, four nine, one oh seven one to
go this August. That'll be a good one. We're in
the midst of talking about your bizarre animal encounters, you know, squirrels, deers,
(34:48):
things of that nature. A girlfriend of mine saw someone
run over a squirrel and she's like, I'm just so
unwell about it. Good morning, you're on the air.
Speaker 23 (34:56):
I used to live in South Carolina and turtles would
always go onto the road, and so whenever I would
be driving, I would make When I was a kid,
I would make my mom stop and I would get
out of the car and I would carry the turtle
across the rest of the road. And then when I
started driving, my mom said, you cannot stop in the
road for turtles while you are driving because you're a
(35:19):
new driver. And I got in so much trouble because
I would stop the turtles every single time, and it
would cause like traffic and stuff because I would refuse
to move out of the way until these turtles got
safely across the road.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
You know, at least your conscious is clear. What's your
name with neighborhood you waking up with me? And my
name is Alex so I'm in from Stati. Thanks for
the call, gal Cilia. Hopefully you have a hint as
to what the keyword was based off of that conversation,
because I do have one more open phone line for
the wing tickets five when three seven, four nine, one
oh seven one delt you're.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
Waking up with stiff in the morning on kiss when oh.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
Seven to one, Good morning. I'm hoping you have a
keyword for me animal. Congratulations Galley at the keyword your
collar ten, I'm stamping your since you passports. Oh sweet,
you're going to see Lil Wayne my gal.
Speaker 8 (36:05):
Oh, I appreciate it so much.
Speaker 29 (36:06):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
I'm very excited for you. What's your name, what neighborhood
you waking up with me?
Speaker 23 (36:11):
And my name is Olivia and I'm waking up in Hebron.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
Olivia, thank you for listening to TIF in the morning. Yeah,
absolutely every day. I appreciate that. So Olivia, we're in
the midst of talking about your bizarre animal encounters just
in case, do you have one?
Speaker 16 (36:24):
Oh?
Speaker 29 (36:24):
Absolutely, I wouldn't necessarily say bizarre, but definitely a rare sighting.
Speaker 13 (36:28):
Okay, we were out in yellows and, you know, walk
in a normal trail and we saw a bear run
across the FIELDO there was.
Speaker 16 (36:34):
A mountain lion chasing it.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
Oh my god.
Speaker 8 (36:37):
Definitely more of a rare sighting or some sort of links, but.
Speaker 16 (36:40):
We were pretty sure it was a mountain lion.
Speaker 2 (36:41):
Oh my god. David Attenborough, what's up? You were living
the nature doc? Absolutely thanks for the call. If you
took an l on these Wayne tickets, you get another
chance tomorrow at eight thirty. We stamp here Sincy summer
passport every day on my show and John John's show,
so set a reminder to get up with Tiff in
the morning. Speaking of bizarre animal encounters, I was going
(37:02):
out from my run two days ago and there was
a long black snake that was like kind of half
eaten and debt on the sidewalk and I nearly called
the police. I can't I'm not doing this.
Speaker 1 (37:16):
I live in the city.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
I live in Mount Adams. I'm not doing snakes. And
if you've listened to my show before, you know it's
a big fear of mine. Every day when I go
to the bathroom in the morning, I'm like, there's gonna
be a snake in this toilet. Mm hm oh. I
was a Nope, We're not doing it. We're not doing it.
I almost just I almost have been. I almost broke
my lease. I was like, I can't live here. Okay,
(37:38):
the dramatics, we're not far off from the three things
you need to know to get your day started in Sincy.
If you want to lock in a little bit longer,
we're commercial free. I'd love to have you good morning.
Speaker 1 (37:49):
When you need to know She's got you. It's three
things with tip.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
Hi, good morning. We're gonna talk about Miley Cyrus in
a hot sec. I like this take she had on
a pot cast or just before nine o'clock though nine
o five your first chance to score one thousand's thousand
dollars and a free trip to Vegas. So let's start.
Let's start off like having a hard time putting my
mouth and my words together, Let's start off with the
Reds last night, Jake Frayley with this insane o catch
(38:15):
in the outfield find.
Speaker 14 (38:17):
A right long run for Frehley away.
Speaker 11 (38:21):
Goodness, did you see that perfectly timed extension?
Speaker 2 (38:30):
Looks cool. They're playing in the Cleveland area. They're playing
the Guardians today at one ten in afternoon game, and
then they'll make their way to play the Tigers starting
Friday seven to ten. All right, second, and three things
you need to know similar in the sports vain. You know,
we're in mini camp ourselves here or training camp, I
should say, with the Bengals day two, and we had
no Trey hendrickson yesterday. But if it's the same for us,
(38:52):
it's the same for others around the league. Josh Allen
showed up for Bill's camp and talked about his engagement
and marriage to Hailey Steinfeld. And I love this.
Speaker 25 (39:02):
I mean they've all been all been big, none other
than marrying my best friend. And you know she makes
everything easier, so I don't I don't really focus on
other stuff. You know, that was, you know, the most
important decision I'll make in my life, and I made
the right one.
Speaker 2 (39:18):
I love that, and I love Hailey Steinfeld. Aaron Rodgers
also confirmed that he got married to a mystery woman.
No idea, it's a wedding ring.
Speaker 12 (39:28):
Congratulation, thank you, I love you.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
It's been a couple months.
Speaker 2 (39:34):
Okay. Boys who got married in the off season for us?
Speaker 19 (39:37):
Was it?
Speaker 2 (39:37):
Sam Hubbard? And lastly, in Three Things You Need to
Know This Morning, Miley Cyrus was on the Monica Lewinsky podcast.
Didn't know she had one, but she talked about the
iconic Bangers era, which excuse me, always holds a special
place in my heart. She talked about what a challenge
it was.
Speaker 7 (39:53):
There was even a time where my brother and sister
didn't want to go to school because of how humiliated
they were to be related to me. And I remember
even you know, my brother at one point he was saying,
I don't judge you, but you could understand how hard
it is for me to go to school, and you
be my sister.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
She also went on to talk about what the dating
scene was like for her during that era, and she
kind of has grown and learned why it was so hard.
You know, I always admired her for doing what was
best for her in that moment, of course, but she said,
you know, other celebrities weren't getting the backlash that I was,
But it's because I grew up a child star. That
is three things you need to know for June eleventh.
(40:33):
Let's talk a thousand bucks at nine oh five. Don't
go far.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 2 (40:38):
Kiss one thirty percent. An estimate of thirty percent of
people worldwide experience at least one episode of sleep paralysis
in their lifetimes. Have you experienced this. There's a difference
between dreamers like maybe you and I and that like
(40:59):
bizarre sleep paralysis stuff. I'd love to hear from you
if you suffer from this or not. If you're like,
tell me a little bit about sleep paralysis. It's kind
of where you're think of it like a traffic jam,
and you if you're stuck out and hold on, think
of it as like a traffic jam in your brain.
You're kind of in it. It's sleep paralysis happens when
(41:20):
you're transitioning in and out of rem sleep. Your brain
is awake and alert, but your body is still asleep
and immobilized, and they collide momentarily, causing these bizarre things
to happen to you while you're sleeping. Some of them
are like dangerous. My dad told me one time that
he suffers from sleep paralysis. It was bizarre listening to
(41:43):
him talk about the stuff that he would see but
he could move so interesting. I've always thought dreams are
very interesting. Some people dream super vividly, some people don't
dream at all. And then there's the sleep paralysis category.
I'm gonna throw out my number just in case. Five
would three seven four nine, one oh seven one. You
can also talk back with Tiff on iHeartRadio, but very
(42:04):
curious to see what your experience is with it. I
tend to dream, but I also am one of the
lucky ones, and I think that I think I'm very
lucky on this to get quality sleep every night. And
there are many things that play into sleep factors. It
depends on who you are as a person, what your
anxiety levels are, if you have a family, responsibilities, your job, right,
there's a million one things. And I've always been really
(42:26):
lucky to get good sleep, and it was a goal
of mine in January to prioritize it, and I have
done so in the last six months. And I really
do think sleep like if your athletes Lebron James talks
about all the time, like how important sleep is. It's
so important, Oh my god, so few things. If you
have sleep paralysis or just weird sleep or weird dreams.
They say, number one, you need a nightly routine, and
(42:49):
I stand by that too. You gotta get a routine.
And whether that's go to bed at nine and you're
up at six, or go to bed at ten and
you're up at seven, sleep routine is best and you
need somewhere between. And they say seven and nine hours
of sleep. I think that's a little ridiculous. If you
are not able to do that, it's more like five
or six full cycles of sleep, and then you know,
(43:12):
I think that health and wellness plays so much of
a role in getting good sleep too, depending on where
you're at with that. But you know, food and weight
management and movement and stress and anxiety and coping mechanisms.
So bizarre how everything is all connected. But I found
this article really interesting. If you're if you're interested in
seeing it, send me a DM. I'll shoot it your way.
(43:33):
And if you've got some weird dreams, let me know
what they are. Five and three, seven, four, nine, one
oh seven one you're.
Speaker 1 (43:39):
Waking up with Fifth in the morning, Hun kiss On, Hey,
good morning.
Speaker 2 (43:43):
So not long ago we were talking about sleep and
sleep paralysis. Thirty percent of people will experience sleep paralysis
at least one time in their lives. And so I
was like, let's talk about some of these bizarro dreams
you're having. You're walking into the daily debrief usually right
around this time every day. I chew the one big
thing I think we talked about in the four hours
of conversation, and we revisit it, giving you a chance
(44:04):
to get caught up to speed, especially if you're in
a new summer routine. Good morning, you're on the air.
Speaker 27 (44:09):
Well.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
I had a dream one.
Speaker 12 (44:11):
Day that I was in a hospital and like sitting
in a hospital bed. And then literally a month later
after that, I wound up in the hospital, had and
to have my gold ladder taken out and had to
have surgery.
Speaker 22 (44:25):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
So it almost acted like a premonition type of thing
for you, which you know, some people claim that that
does what's your name, what neighborhood you waking up with
me in?
Speaker 12 (44:34):
My name's may Cy and may C I e. Last
name's Miller, and I live in Hamilton, Ohio.
Speaker 2 (44:41):
Well, thank you so much for listening to TIF in
the Morning. You good now though, Oh yeah, I'm all
heeled up and back at work. Awesome, love that thanks
for listening.
Speaker 12 (44:48):
Have a good day you too.
Speaker 2 (44:50):
You know, sleep paralysis is different than dreaming. My dad's
told me this before, where he'll be asleep. But that's
what sleep paralysis is. Your brain is awake and alive
and well, but your body hasn't quite caught up yet.
Think of it like a traffic jam in your brain.
And they say the number one thing to adjust sleep
and better quality sleep in general, including sleep paralysis, is
(45:12):
to have a bedtime routine and make sure that you
are taking care of yourself because if anything is all
connected right like weight management, anxiety, stress, all of the above,
lots of things you know we talked about more. If
you want to get caught up on the podcast, I
recommend searching TIF Tiff in the Morning on the iHeartRadio app.
Happy Wednesday.
Speaker 19 (45:32):
You're waiting up with Tip in the Morning, Gone Kiss one.
Speaker 16 (45:35):
O seven one.
Speaker 2 (45:40):
If you're an expert packer, you love to pack, like
packing up the suv or packing up a suitcase or
packing up your house. If you're like a person that
likes to purge. Then you and I will be great
friends on social media. Let's get connected. I'm at the
TIF two F's Potter like the Wizard because I'm about
to stuff a week's worth US stuff in a suitcase.
(46:01):
I actually think I'm using a travel backpack to go
to Ireland from my very first solo trip, and of
