Speaker 1 (00:01):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
You're waking up with Tip in the morning on a
kiss one oh seven one Happy Monday commercial Free you
found Sarah Elisa and I good morning.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
I didn't turn your microphone on very go.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
Mondays are so hard, dude, the summer mondays.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
I'm just I don't know where the weekend goes. Where
does it go?
Speaker 4 (00:24):
We're doing so much that it's going by way too fast.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
I'm not sleeping it away, like I'm not getting any sleep. Uh,
how is your week no sleep? No sleep? It's bus club,
another club, no sleep.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
It was kind of that type of weekend. And Cincy,
what did you do? What did you get into? Uh?
Speaker 4 (00:41):
Well, Friday night we had our buddies birthday. We were
both there for that. Saturday we announced the theme to
the Western and Southern Web and fireworks away. Yeah that's
coming up in shit shower and it's a good one.
You probably one of my favorite of all time. And
Saturday night I was there for Margaritaville Night at Great
(01:04):
American Ballpark. Got to see the Reds win. They got
the series win, swept over the weekend. The jerseys were cute,
and yeah, the jerseys were super cute. They did a
really fun Hawaiian shirt giveaway. The land Sharks performed after
it was a vibe Sunday, spent some time with the family,
did a little pool time, a cookout. Overall, very relaxing
and fun, well rounded weekend. It's exactly what you want
(01:26):
out of a summer weekend.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
And if you blink, it goes away.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Every single time. I don't know why, and I know
that this weekend is going to be the same. We've
got a big weekend in Bristol. The Braves and the
Reds for the first time ever are playing at the
racetrack on Saturday night, and that's going to be my
whole weekend, traveling to get to Bristol game and then
coming back.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
I'm doing some traveling next weekend too. I know where
you had it to, back to the Hoarder House. If
you're not familiar, maybe you weren't a part of the show.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Last year, right around this time, I went back to
my dad's house in Massachusetts and we cleaned it out.
And now we're doing phase two, which is the garage.
And let me tell you, ladies, men don't like throwing
things away.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
I don't know what it is.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
My husband's the same way. I'm like, you don't need
a teaser from twenty years ago.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
My god, you don't need that Jack Daniel's bottle that
you hung for decoration, Like you don't need a Saturdays
are for the boys.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
Throw away the flag if you are over twenty one.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
We say this all the time, but men have such
a hard time getting rid of their stuff, like they
just I'm I'm We're gonna We're going to have more
conversation about this later on in the week, but overall,
it was a good weekend on my front. You know,
I'm seeing someone now and i'd spent about four or
five months and we've settled into a little bit of
a routine now, so you're past the talking phase, past
(02:48):
the talking phase, but not at the official phase yet.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
When I have a long time, i'd be getting into
this thing, but hey, everybody works at a different pace.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah, we're a slow burn between the two of us,
but we're not officially dating.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
So when I when I introduce him to.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
People, which I got to meet him, you did I do?
I'm panicking a little bit because I'm like, do I
say my friend, do I say the guy that I'm happy?
Do you introduce something I'm usually just like, this is
him period.
Speaker 5 (03:17):
Well.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Him, and I feel like anybody that you've introduced him to,
we all know your situations that it just kind of
goes without saying Okay.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
It's such a weird world to go from being super
single for a really long time doing everything solo to
now integrating someone new into my life.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Uh huh ah. But I'm proud of you. This is big,
thank you. He's super cool.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
He definitely matches your vibe, and I know you guys
are having a lot of fun together. You guys survived
a weekend of camping together, and I knew that was
going to be a make it or break it. For me,
we would have been immediately over. But for you guys,
you guys took it to a whole new level and
I'm excited for you.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
I am reaching this point, though, Sarah, where as we
settle into like a slight routine, I feel like my
like I'm not getting enough sleep. I feel like I'm
eating meals at weird times, and I'm eating weird foods
at weird times because boys don't have to worry about
those things. I got on the scale this morning and
I would say the thing that is living to that, No, Sarah.
The thing that is living rent free in my head
(04:18):
right now is the fact that I've gained six pounds
from dating someone that's on.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
A happy relationship.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
No, Why does it have to be this way because
you guys are happy together?
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Why do I have to gain weight and he loses it?
Because annoying? It sucks being a woman. It is hard.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
My husband can eat taco Bell five times in a
day and he's totally fine.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Now me, I can't. I don't have that luck. I
just can't do it.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
I went to the Clearmont County Fair on Friday and
we had fried this, fried that, this, fed that, and I.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Know it's but it's a weird place for me to
be in.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
And I'm spiraling a little bit to go from solo
five pounds lighter Tiffany to like, happy dating somebody six
pounds heavier Tiffany.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
I don't know what to do here. It's just the
unfortunate world of being a woman. Okay, but it means
you're happy though you're happy eating together, you're eating taco
Bell in the middle of the night together.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
I'm not eating taco Bell. That's not happening. All right,
give me three minutes, give us three minutes. We've got
a new Western and Southern w eb and Fireworks theme.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
What is it going to be this year?
Speaker 4 (05:23):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, Kiss, good morning.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
If you're a big fan of the Western Southern Web
and Fireworks like we are, we have a new theme
to chat Roulette. Sarah Lease and I minus five minutes,
five minutes on the clock on the biggest topic, so
that you're in the loop and Sarah never takes a
break from her phone.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
So what is the biggest thing? What is this theme?
Speaker 4 (05:44):
Over the weekends, we made the big announcement. We've been
holding on to this for the last seven months. The
theme to the Western and Southern Web and Fireworks Show
is Boomsday the musical.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Sarah, did you have anything to do with? I had
about ninety percent of ever we got to do with.
Oh why is that? Because musicals are awesome and we're
going to have a little twist.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
So it's kind of like, I don't know, a little
edgy twist to a musical. You should be excited about this, though, Sarah.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
I know that you're spiraling on this. So if you
want to see the t shirts.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
They are available to purchase at webn dot com and
then they're going to be available at select Kroger's starting
by Wednesday or Thursday. The artwork is awesome. Our girl
Aaron Cox, she's a local tattoo artist. She put a
ton of time, sweat, love and tears into this design,
so it's super cool. You got to check out the
(06:45):
website to see exactly what I'm talking about. And thank
you again to all of our sponsors that you know
that came out to turf Way over the weekend to
be a part of the announcement. Pella is the big
partner this year to the Drone Show, so so grateful
for them.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
That Drone show is sick. Last year the.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Drone show is amazing, and now I feel like we
can't have the fireworks show without the accompaniment of the drones.
I mean they go together perfectly. You want to make
sure you get a really good spot for that one
here on August thirty first. It's going to be a time.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
August thirty first, I feel like it's early this year.
That's when Labor Day weekend falls.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
We always have the show on that Sunday, and that's
just you know, how lucky the draw is this year.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
I'm excited.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
So Booms Day is the theme Booms Day the musical.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
So there are over twenty different songs a part of
the show this.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Year, and obviously this one right, I can't say it.
Sarah comes, Sarah, and you got to be a part
of it.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
You're gonna want to experience this live in case you
can't make it down though. Our friends at Local twelve,
of course they're going to be a part of it
this year. They will have that broadcast for you, so
if you want to stay home, you can watch it
on Local twelve.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Here you go, Sarah, you leaving me? Are you saying?
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Um?
Speaker 4 (08:02):
Unfortunately I have to be like Destiny's child and I
gotta pull up Beyonce. But our girls were together over
the weekend. Beyonce was wrapping up the Cowboy Carter tour.
They were in Las Vegas, and she brought out our
girl she was Las Vegas. Yeah, she brought out our
girls Kelly and Michelle as a big surprise and they
(08:24):
sang independent women.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
I would have lost my mind. My good college girlfriend
was there.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
So our group text was blowing up with Beyonce videos
this weekend.
Speaker 4 (08:33):
Oh They're all over social media. You got to check
them out. The Millennial and me was screaming, there's.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Two Millennial concerts this week for Sarah Elise.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
Kasha Batched You Boys, Beyonce with Dusney's Child, It's I
Love It.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Two is coming in a couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
I can't wait. I'm looking forward to that one at Riverbend.
I think it's in September. Thank you, Sarah Elise. Yeah,
every Monday we cover the biggest things that happened in Cincy.
So the Booms Day announcement for the Western and Southern
w EB and fireworks that's happening that Sunday of Labor
Day weekend.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
You know that it is. It is the best. It
is the best fireworks show that you'll ever be a
part of. Of course, what else happened outside of Beyonce.
It was such a.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Big weekend and Cincy as far as the music festival happening,
every major venue had something happening. The Big Three Tournament
at Heritage with ice Cube, the game the Reds did
really well at a great American ballpark with the postgame
concert on Saturday, the music festival, ghetto Fest was happening,
Brett Young was that the hard Rocket was just one
(09:34):
of those really busy Cincinnati weekends. If you didn't get
a chance to check out some of that stuff, you
can pop over to her Social eye. Took a break
from the downtown scene this weekend for the first time
in a while, and I went to the Claremont County Fair.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
I was a fair girl.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
There was a donkey that needed a picture and a horse,
and I, you know, I was.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
I was a part of that.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
And we're gonna save that for our o'clock hour coming
up around eight twenty. We'll chit chat about the fair
scene in Cincy and the foods that I came across,
the ones I liked, the ones that I didn't because
this was my first time experiencing a fair in Ohio. Okay,
so we've got a lot to debrief on that front.
Other big things that happened over the weekend. We're entering
the fifth day of Bengals training camp.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
There are full pads. I saw videos of Joe Burrow.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
I have this really cool video of Ted Carris on
a podcast talking about the best things in Cincy. I'll
get to that in the three Things you Need to
Know coming up around seven to fifty.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Okay, all right, shit chat, roulette, woo, we did it,
the biggest topics from the weekend, and one five minute span,
so that you feel as if you're up to date
and in the loop as you get ready to start
your Monday.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
The best way to keep listening to Tiff in the
morning is by searching kiss one oh seven one coming.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Up in three minutes.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
If you want to be a part of FCC's five
k race, you might have seen the billboards around town
for this. I've got your chance to go for free
and run it for free. If you're looking for maybe
a different type of activity, I'm gonna stamp here since
the summer passport with a race bib coming up next.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Then you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Gwyneth Paltrow is in on the sense of humor, and
I love that where it is before seven o'clock, Give
me a hot second. We'll get to that in a minute. Here.
On the twenty eighth of July, Mother Nature is still
most certainly doing her thing. As we creep towards the
end of the month in the seventies with sunshine will
eventually bump into the nineties and it'll feel hot and
humid again today, real soupy like out there, and that'll
(11:36):
stick around through at least Wednesday. All right, Before we
get to Gwyneth Paltrow, let's start off with, excuse me,
some of.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
The bigger things that happened.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
And since you know this fight has gone viral, I
saw that the New York Post picked it up. And
to be transparent with you, I have not watched the
music video, the music video, the fight video. Sorry, I
was just looking at Beyonce images and thinking music at
the top of my head. This is what it's like
to be neurodivergent and try to run a radio show.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
No, I didn't watch the video, and that's a choice.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
And I know we can't run from the bigger news
stories that are happening around us. And I know that
you and I are on the same page where we
want to feel safe going out in downtown.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
I'm a big downtown or myself.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
I live in Mount Adams, I spend a lot of
time in that area, and I don't want to have
to worry about especially as a solo woman. I'm often
out and about walking around by myself. I don't want
to have to worry about violence youth or adult. This
happened to be adult violence. By the way, if you
have no idea what I'm talking about, Friday into Saturday morning,
around three o'clock, a massive brawl broke out on Fourth Street,
(12:44):
and you will, I'm sure, see chit or chatter about
this on social media. You are more than welcome to
form your own opinion about it. But at the end
of the day, we're in the hunt for some answers
and what we're gonna do about this.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
I've got Vice mayor here talking about it. We're going
to find out who's responsible and take action.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Okay, yeah, and that was Vice Mayor jan Kearney. If
I mispronounced her name, my apologies on that. I'm not
very good with names. But now we're what's going on.
I mean, it was massive, and it was you'll see
a headline I think the New York Post was woman
gets cold cocked, essentially and gets knocked out.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
It's not a good look. I don't like.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Coming on the air, especially on a Monday after what
should have been a joyous, beautiful weekend full of people,
A lot of eyes on Cincinnati because of the music
festival and the Reds and the Big Three Tournament and
all of these things.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
It's not a great place to be.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
The police are still in the hunter for who did it,
and they're looking for information. If you have any police,
share it, you know. I know we're in the hunts
of trying to figure it out with you know, cutting
off the scooters and red bikes at night, and then
the curfew that's gone into effect for those that are
fifteen and under. Just like what's going on. I'm right
(13:59):
along side him while we're at it. Let's chit chat
about the music festival.
Speaker 5 (14:03):
You know.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
We had a surprise guest here this weekend, ice Cube
popping up on stage. His Big Three Tournament was happening
at Heritage on Saturday.
Speaker 6 (14:17):
Can I get it?
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Yeay, yay, yay yay.
Speaker 7 (14:24):
Let's suspect.
Speaker 8 (14:25):
I want to.
Speaker 9 (14:26):
Thank P and G for surponsor in the Big Three.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
We've been part of the P and G family for
a couple of years. I want to thank everybody for
support for first of all, and.
Speaker 6 (14:37):
Support me forty years in the business.
Speaker 7 (14:41):
You know, forty years you say.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
These house sports.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
If you're curious, I had to look up with the
Big Three tournament was. It's founded by ice Cube, and
it's got its own set of rules, including a fifty
point target score with no overtime and the ability to
challenge fouls by playing one on one. And the league features
former NBA players and other notable athletes. If you happen
to have gone to the Big Three Tournament this weekend,
(15:08):
you'll have to let me know.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
All right, let's move on here.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
The Bengals entering fifth or sixth day of training camp.
We did get charm Shamar Stewart signed after not being
able to sign him last week. It ended up coming
down to like a half a million dollars in his
signing bonus.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
But he's on the team.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
We have until Friday to figure out the least details.
We are down to the wire, so I'll be keeping
you up to date on the new Bengals lease. Still
no word on Trey Hendrickson as well, of course, I'll
keep you posting. And then, lastly, and three things you
need to know. I do love it when someone's in
on the joke and astronomer, whoever's in their pr whoever's
in their social media department, said you know what we're
(15:51):
gonna do. We're gonna get Coldplay's ex wife Gwyneth Paltrow
to speak on our company on behalf of our company.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Here's a quick thank you for your interest in Astronomer. Hi,
I'm going to Paltrow.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
I've been hired on a very temporary basis to speak
on behalf of the three hundred plus employee Is it astronomer?
Speaker 1 (16:11):
I love that video. I'm sure you'll come across it.
Nothing makes me.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Yeah, I love it. I love when someone's in on
the sense of humor. At this point, both people that
were involved in the Coldplay incident, and if I were
to call it, that have resigned from their jobs.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
That is three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
For the twenty eighth of July, around eight oh five,
we're commercial free per usual, and I'm going to stamp
her since the summer passport with ice cream. I'm hooking
you up with gift cards to dairy Queen.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
So don't go far. You're waking up in the morning,
squam my computer.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
What's the weirdest thing that you've eaten on a stick? Okay,
I'm a fair girly now. I didn't go to a
single event, which is very unlike me.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
In downtown city and see this weekend.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Nope, I was out in the out in the suburbs,
out in out in the middle of nowhere. It felt
like in the middle of nowhere you would have found
Tiff in the morning at a county fair.
Speaker 8 (17:11):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Fair is the keyword.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
You're gonna need to stamp your Sincy summer passport with
a gift card to Dairy Queen. I'm hooking you up
with a gift card to Dairy Queen to celebrate their
miracle treats. You know, any of the food you purchase
in the next week or so, proceeds go back to
Cincinnati Children's Hospital. And how fitting that we're going to
give out ice cream because ice cream's really been my
theme of life over the last couple of weeks as
(17:35):
I've experienced all these new creamy whips, et cetera. And
oh I did I did get ice cream at the
county Fair and it did not disappoint. I tried blaming
the six pounds that I've gained on the guy that
I've been dating, but I really just I really think
it's just me and my obsession with ice cream these days.
So fair is the keyword you'll need that which one
did I go to and which one do you go to?
(17:57):
What are the foods that you eat when you go
to the Because in Claremont County where you could have
found me this weekend, I was.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Going in on it.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
Am I We started off with a burger and I
would say the burger ranked number one for me at
the Claremont County Fair. Out of all the things that
I tested out I did, the burger came coming in
at number one.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Number two the lemonade.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
I don't know what's in that lemonade, might be cocaine,
but I did have a little bit of that. Then
there was a Philly cheese steak involved that ranked number
three from me. I think if you're gonna do a
Philly cheese steak you need to have like wizz and
onions for it to really count.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
But it was okay for a fair.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Coming in at number five were the tiketos that I tried.
I think they were like a like a steak taketo.
Hella fried really good though, And then coming in for desserts,
I would rank number one the ice cream that I
had and it was delicious. However, I did order it
(19:02):
towards the end of the night I understand that they
were busy. Instead of giving a chocolate vanilla twist, they
just gave me chocolate, which.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
I'm not going to complain about.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
Rainbow sprinkles to the max has to be so crunchy
that it feels like I'm eating cereal.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
That's how I like my ice cream.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
And then coming in at number two for desserts were
the fried oreos that I did get, and they gave
me four them.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
And I think it's kind of like the best.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Of both worlds because if you like a fried dough,
if you like a funnel cake, you're kind of getting that,
but you're also getting an oreo in between. I think
it's the best bang for your buck. And let me
tell you, it's my first fair experience, and I thought
I was going. I got my dates mixed up. I
thought I was going for the demolition derby. Didn't see
any demo derbys. I went on Friday night to the
(19:45):
Claremont County Fair. But I hear that there are other
good ones in Cincy, and what am I missing? Five
one three seven, four nine one oh seven one. Let's
hear about the weirdest food you've eaten on a stick?
Where's your go to fair so I can add it
to me. I you know Tiff in the morning exploratory
lists and what are some things I'm missing about the
fair that I need to know about. This is my
(20:07):
first experience. Five win, three, seven, four, nine, one oh
seven one. Fair is the keyword you're gonna need to
win the Dairy Queen gift card. I'm stamping your Sincy
summer passport with more fair like food on the show
this morning. Don't forget you could always utilize that talkback
feature as well on the iHeartRadio app the microphones in
the top right hand corner hole.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
I tried something new this weekend, and you know my
stance on trying new things. You're walking into Tiff in
the morning on Kiss one oh seven one, and I
went to the Clearmont County Fair. Fair is the keyword
that you're gonna need to win the Dairy Queen Kiff
Guard coming up in a few minutes.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
Good morning, you're on the air.
Speaker 9 (20:46):
Good morning, how are you.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
I'm well, how are you, my gal?
Speaker 9 (20:49):
I'm a little tired. We had a fun weekend this weekend.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
Yeah, I'm feeling it too. I'm sleepy.
Speaker 9 (20:55):
So we went to the Claimont County Ferry as well.
We go every year for my birthday. You miss three
amazing things.
Speaker 10 (21:01):
There, Okay, go all right, the Euro or Giro.
Speaker 9 (21:04):
Or Giro however you want to pronounce it. They have
amazing ones there, the blooming onion and of course the
bucket of fries.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Yes, I walked past the fry thing like three times
and I knew I should have gotten the fries over
the takeitos.
Speaker 9 (21:20):
Yeah, the fries. I mean it's a must, Like my
kids make me get.
Speaker 5 (21:24):
It every single year. You get a big old bucket
with free bills. I mean it's and then on the
side they have like Maltvieneger, different seasonings catch up, so
it's phenomenal.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Remind me one more time. What's your name of what
neighborhood you waking up with? Men?
Speaker 9 (21:38):
Stormy? And I'm from Bethel?
Speaker 1 (21:39):
Thank you? And who's the little one in the car.
Speaker 9 (21:41):
That's miss Charity.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
Okay, well, thank you for waking up with tip in
the morning.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Can you answer?
Speaker 3 (21:46):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (21:46):
Are the fairs only one weekend or like, can I
go back to a different fair this coming weekend or something?
Speaker 7 (21:52):
So there's a.
Speaker 9 (21:52):
Brown County Fair. I think that comes to the spring
they have like a big tractor pull and yeah, the
Klamack County, but that's like a whole week long. But yeah,
Saturday was the last day. It was a similition Derby Oast.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Well, thank you so much for the calling for the insight.
I'm new to the fair scene. This is my first
time being a fair girl. And apparently I chose Clarmont County.
I don't know if I chose wrong or not, but
I heard that there were a bunch this weekend. I
didn't know if there was, you know, so I could
go every weekend. But apparently we just put all we
put all Why does since he do this? Why do
we put all the things in one weekend? Downtown was
(22:29):
the same way, like sixty five concerts this weekend. And
we can't spread this stuff out?
Speaker 1 (22:35):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (22:38):
Yeah, if you've eaten a weird thing on a stick,
you'll have to.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Let me know.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Talk back with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app coming up
in three minutes. Your chance to win a dare you
know what, Let's just do it right now. If are
you still with me? As long as you're still here
and you've got the keyword, hopefully you have a little
bit of a hint as to what the keyword was.
Based on that conversation, we'll continue the food theme this morning.
I'm gonna get you a Dairy Queen gift card. Call
(23:02):
her ten five one three seven four nine one seven one.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Good luck. In the meantime, we're still commercial free. Good morning.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
Yes you're waking up with siff in the morning on
kiss one.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Good morning. I'm hoping you have a keyword from me.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
Uh yes, fair, congratulations Gal, I'm stamping your sincey summer
passport with a gift card to Dairy Queen.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
Get your little blizzy.
Speaker 10 (23:27):
Yes for my daughter. She's assessed with dairy Queen. So
as soon as I heard, I'm like, I gotta get
it work.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Oh my god, I love that, Gal.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
I have not been to a dairy Queen in a
hot sex So what blizzard is she get in?
Speaker 1 (23:39):
You know?
Speaker 10 (23:40):
She just gets like a standard uh ice cream with
like chocolate on it. I like a good cut blizzard.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Ice cream has been my new identity this summer, so
you might it might be me you and your daughter going.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
To Dairy Queen right a blizzard? You know places like that?
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Do you agree there are two types of people, right,
there is somebody that goes out to eat to like
try something, to have food to get this. But then
there are people that I better, like me, you and
your daughter, where you go to that establishment for that
one specific thing when you have a craving for it, right, Oh?
Speaker 10 (24:14):
Absolutely, absolutely, yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Yeah, And that is kind of what a dairy queen
is for. You go get that recy blizzard. You know
what you're getting yourself into.
Speaker 10 (24:21):
Oh for sure, for sure, you know it's gonna be good.
I mean I thought every once while, I'm like, let
me try something else, So I'm like, you know what, let.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
Me stick with what I like.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
And I'm just a girl. And that's It's hard enough
for us to choose a meal as it.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Is, right right, what's your what's your name? And what neighborhood?
You waking up with me? And I forgot to get that.
I caught up.
Speaker 10 (24:39):
That's okay, Rachel, and I'm.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
In dal High All right, Rachel, thank you for having
me on. I appreciate you waking up with Tiff in
the morning.
Speaker 10 (24:46):
Yes, thank you all.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
We were chit.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
Chatting about the Claremont County Fair. Have you and your
daughter gone to a fair?
Speaker 1 (24:51):
As of late.
Speaker 10 (24:52):
No, she's actually never been an affair. I've been to one
fair and it was Clairmont County, but it was like
ten years ago before she was ever around. So you know,
listening to you talk about it made you want to
go again.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
So okay, I'm glad you've left the show feeling inspired
because it was my first time as well.
Speaker 10 (25:09):
Right, yes, it sounds like you know she will enjoy
a good fair.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Well, thank you for the call.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
If you took an L on the DQ, I've got
you every day this week if you want to set
a reminder to get up with Tiff in the morning
at eight thirty. I feel like I could chitchat with
you all morning long. If I didn't have this Tiff
in the Morning job, which I'm blessed to have, I
feel like I would do really well owning like a
coffee and a donut shop, because that's all they do
(25:36):
all day is just like chit chat. You know, you
chit chat heard a little this little that. Would you
come to the Tiff in the morning donut shop and
chit chat with me?
Speaker 1 (25:44):
I hope? So, speaking of food and such.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
I feel like I ate so poorly in the last
couple of weeks that for breakfast, I just want to
let you know I brought a cup of bone broth
into the studio.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
That's the type you know what we would do.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
We would have caught, we'd have donuts, and then we
would have bone broth on tap for those that were,
you know, like trying to recover a little bit from
the weekend. I have no idea if this is gonna work,
but it's what my heart told me at five o'clock
this morning when I was leaving for the show.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
Okay, I love this song.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
I know you're gonna love it too, especially if you
just went to Kesha last week. If you can trade
me a few minutes of your time, I've got the
three things you need to know to get your day started.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
In Cincy.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
Let's see if you agree with Ted Carris on this
one thing about Cincinnati.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
When you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Is Cincinnati a good sports town? Give me hot seck.
We're just before nine o'clock on the twenty eighth of July.
Your first chance of the day to win a thousand
bucks is coming up at five pass. Ted Carris was
on the Games with Name podcast Games with Names, which
is Julian Edelman's podcast.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
And he had asked him that same question.
Speaker 6 (26:57):
How Cincia is a sportstown for the best. I love Cincinnati,
great local establishments. You can go out any night of
the week and find people that are hanging out in Cincy.
You're right across the river from Kentucky, right yep, Skyland
or Gouldstar Skyland, Guldstar guy. Myself, I had to Coney's
yesterday at the airport since he's I think the most
aesthetic of the Midwestern towns because it's the only one
with hills. Since he has like fifty two different municipalities
(27:19):
that make it up, so it adds to the culture.
There's like fifty little different downtowns and.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
I love that. I love that Ted Carris was hyping
this up. I agree. Bengals training camp underway. Is still
no signing on Tree Hendrickson, although we did get the
deal done with Shamar Stewart a different defensive end. And
as a reminder, the Bengals need to sign that lease
by August one, this coming Friday, so I will have
some more insight on that throughout the week. Second and
(27:43):
three things you need to know a reunion of a lifetime.
As Beyonce wrapped up her Vegas I'm sorry her tour
in Vegas. Not only did she bring out jay Z,
but Destiny's Child reunited as well.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Did you hear that is Destiny's Child?
Speaker 6 (27:59):
Yup?
Speaker 2 (28:01):
The last time that they were together was Homecoming at Coachella.
By the way, one of my favorite live albums to
listen to when you're working out. If you're a runner
search the Beyonce Homecoming album also announced that jay Z
wants to open up a casino in Times Square, New York.
That sounds like a horrible idea to me, but you
might see that as well. And then, lastly, in three
Things you need to Know, no surprise at Fantastic four.
(28:21):
First step one, the weekend box office did really well.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
If you're a fan of Final Destination.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
It is coming to HBO Max this weekend if you
want to stream it. And then, lastly, the other big
one that people are talking about is Happy Gilmour. Did
you see the second movie? I have yet to watch
it on Netflix. You'll have to let me know if
you've seen it. That is three things you need to know.
Over the twentyeighth of July, your chance at the Grand
coming up next because.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning kiss us
seven one, Well, good morning.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
You and I are probably on the same page where
you've spent a little bit of time inside your head
feeling a little overwhelmed.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
From time to time.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
There's one thing that you can do universally in the bathroom,
at work, in your bathroom, at home, in the bathroom
on a first date.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
A restaurant. Either way.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
Glory Share Pages are licensed clinical counsel or mental health Monday.
She comes on right around this time every Monday to
give two or three minutes to something that you can
use at some point during the week to make your
life better. Trying it to feel a little overwhelmed with
it absolutely, So what is this reflex called and walk
me through it.
Speaker 8 (29:23):
So this is called the diving reflex. And this is
a way to kind of hack our brain. So if
you're experiencing very strong emotion like overwhelmed, panic, anger, things
that just feel like you are at your boiling point
and you're not sure how to handle it, the best
thing you can do is invite cold to the menu
or to the table. And so this can be either
(29:43):
by taking like a cold shower, washing your hands with
cold water. It can also be just like opening up
a freezer and putting your face in it or putting
ice packs on your face. So basically, what we're trying
to do is we're trying to hack the brain to
think that it is now in cold water. And the
reason why this works is it shifts your nervousness to
them from that place of fight or flight into a
(30:04):
place of more controlled freeze. So what you're doing is
you're actually kind of telling your nervous system that whatever
is happening right now for you emotionally needs to be
thrown out the window because you are now in a
situation where you're surrounded by cold water and you need
to survive. That's basically it, and it is a instinctual
reaction that we have. So what you'll do is you'll
(30:25):
simply get the cold water or the ice packs put
it on your face, particularly because your face has a
lot of nerves and can respond to this very quickly,
and you are just going to put it on there
for five seconds and then take deep breaths.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
And that's it. And that's it.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
So just wear waterproof mass SCAA when you go out
on a first date because if you're feel a little whelmed,
you go to the bathroom and splash some water on
your face.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
That's so great.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
Lori Sharpage is our licensed clinical counselor. You can lean
on her directly on Instagram at the Coping Queen and
then you'll connect with her on Mondays here on my show.
Thanks Laurie, thank you. Coming up next, we'll get into
the daily debrief.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
I usually do it every day.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Around nine point thirty, we talked about the fair scene
in Ohio. I went to one of the fairs. Which
one did I go to. We'll get to that next.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
You waiting for You're waking up fifth in the morning. Morning,
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
I did not make it to the demolition derby, but
I did do this one thing for the first time
this weekend. You're walking into the daily debrief every day
right around this time, I choose one of the bigger
things that we talked about, and we revisit it, giving
you a chance to get caught up, especially if you're
just starting off your morning, and then we kind of
revisit some talkbacks that we maybe didn't get to in
the moment. I went to the Claremont County Fair for
(31:42):
the first time this weekend. I cannot believe that instead
of going to the Cincinnati Music Festival, or the Reds
game where they did the postgame concert, or any of
my usual stomping grounds in downtown Cincy, I chose to
go out to the middle of nowhere, at least that's
where it felt like to me, to the Claremont County
I drove like thirty five forty minutes on Friday night
(32:03):
to get there, and.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
I'm not I was not disappointed.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
What's the weirdest food that you've eaten on a stick
here in Ohio? You guys have a lot to catch
me up on, a lot to debrief me on. Let's
start off with this talkback that we got this morning.
I had the fried oreos, I had taketos.
Speaker 7 (32:21):
Good morning to Yama s guy. I'm from Hamilton County, Ohio.
You actually had my sister storre me on talking earlier,
and I think what she missed on talking about was
the deep fried oreos and you can get deep fried
snickers and oh man.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
The cheese sticks. They're great.
Speaker 7 (32:43):
Definitely need to try everything out.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
Gal, Thank you for the talk back with tip. You
two can be a part of this show. Easily and
for free, at your own convenience, whenever it works for you.
Although I'm in this box every day from six to ten.
You can catch up whenever you want. The microphone is
in the top right hand corner of the iHeartRadio app.
You just hold that down and that's a way to
leave me a voice note. I'm a big voice notes person.
(33:07):
My friends hate to see that fifteen minute voice note coming,
but they usually lock in, put some AirPods in and
buckle up.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
We've got a lot to catch up on.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
I did have the fried oreos, but I didn't know
they offered fried snickers.
Speaker 10 (33:20):
What.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
You'll have to go back and listen to the podcast
and all the things that I tried, and I ranked
them from one to seven because there were a lot.
Speaker 1 (33:31):
At some point today. Just search Tiff in the morning.
Speaker 7 (33:33):
Bye.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
I hope you have a wonderful start to your week.
Happy Monday. I know it's hot out there, Stay cool.
