Speaker 1 (00:02):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time kiss
let us seven one.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Good morning, Pete Rose smiling down at us. Last night
a great American ballpark felt like Game seven of the
World Series.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
I myself was not inside.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
I was just looking and creeping on the Internet and
creeping on your stories. If you had a chance to
go down and celebrate the Pete Rose night, I'm sure
you had a chance.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
To see it. What a time, just what a time,
What a time for sports in general last night.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Cincinnatians, you know, excited for the whole Pete Rose celebration.
But on the other hand, we got the Bengals schedule.
Where are you going to be booking your trips? I'll
have the lineup for you, or at least the more
important lineup, I would say, out of all the games.
At six fifty ish this morning, That's when I'll get
into it. In three things you need to know. Outside
(00:59):
of that, I love how you know it was raining
in the middle of the day, and then I don't know,
whatever it is, the powers that may be, the universe,
p Rose, mother Nature, whatever it is, just opened up
the skies for a beautiful sunny evening.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
So nice, so so so so nice.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
I myself am going through it a little bit on
the medical side of things. I had shared some of
that on the show yesterday. The appointment I was supposed
to have was canceled, and now it's just like this
waiting game of results.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
It's just not good and both of.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
My parents are calling me, and they're calling me at
the same time, and that's when you know it's not great.
So I appreciate your patience as we kind of go
through the show over the next couple of days, as
I figure out what's going on.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
My energy's off a little bit. I might be off
my game a little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Maybe I'll share more in the show, but as of
right now, it's you and I locked in search kiss
Ono SevOne on the iHeartRadio app six fifty. Where are
you booking a trip to see the Bengals? I'll have
that next.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
You need to know she's got you.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
It's three things with tip on good Morning. Would you
travel for Thanksgiving to see the pay Not the Patriots,
the Bengals.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
My Patriots are coming to play the Bengals.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
I'll have that in a hot second or just before
seven o'clock on this Thursday. It is five point fifteen.
We're officially halfway through the month of May. Before we
get to the Bengals schedule release and where you might
book some travel this coming season, We've got to start
off with the third considered fourth day of testimony in
the Diddy trial. Note every day, when you're in your
(02:33):
court of law, aka your car, I ask you to
consider as I give you the details, whether or not
this is consent or coorcion, right, that is what we're
trying to prove to the jury. I also always always
like to give a trigger warning when it comes to
this stuff, okay, because it is quite intense. Absolutely, it's
(02:54):
the biggest story on the planet right now. Second day
of testimony for Cassie Tora, longtime girlfriend about a decade
or so. Spent nine hours in total on the stand
for prosecution alone. I'm going to pick out some of
the key highlights that I thought came out yesterday. Number
one was this book. She wanted to do this tell
(03:15):
all and she really wanted to make sure that Combs
read it. It was kind of like her side of
the story, you know. I would try to relate this
back to your own life. If you've ever gone through
a breakup, and you've put everything into this wake You've
got this one thing and you just want it. You
want to give it to them. You want closure. I
kind of feel like that's what that book was for.
(03:36):
And she said, if you don't want this to get out,
you better give me thirty million dollars and you've got
less than twenty four hours to do it. And he said,
can't do thirty but here's twenty million. And she took
it and walked away. Now prosecution said, why are you talking?
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Why? Why now?
Speaker 2 (03:53):
You got your money, you settled in Core, you did
a civil lawsuit, you settled, you got your money. Why
are you talking? And she said, I almost feel like
I did wrong doing in this as well, Like I
just feel like this story needs to be out there.
And whenever whenever a victim speaks, it's always not necessarily
for them, it's always to inspire those around them who
(04:15):
are potentially going through something similar.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Let's go back over to it.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
By the way, I think that cross examination is going
to use all the things I just said to you
against her.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Let's talk about the freak offs.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
So she said, they said how many, and she said
more than hundreds. It's more than I could ever count.
She also said that her UTIs were so bad that
antibiotics weren't doing anything for her. It got to the
point where she would freak off, get the UTI, finish
around a medication essentially, and have to dive wrap back
into a freak off. She had sores on her tongue.
(04:49):
She was asked, well, if the antibiotics weren't working, ladies,
you know what a UTI feels like, how are you
getting through it? And she said, I was using opioids.
I was essentially drugging myself. Also going to see and
again trigger warning for you. This morning, she said that
Diddy had raped her the very essentially last time that
they got together. He was mad because he had given
(05:13):
her money for a personal trainer. That personal trainer is
actually her husband today. His name is Alex Fine. And
she detailed that experience and then she was asked, did
you have consensual sex with him after that? And she
said yes? And they said why And again, I think
(05:33):
you're trying to understand why didn't you leave?
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Why did you stay? And I said this yesterday.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
We all have a friend, a friend of a friend
that knows they shouldn't be in a relationship, but they
are in love with that person, and that one fraction
of that person, not the entirety of them, and so
they stay. And she said, why did I stay? Why
did I have consensual sex after being raped? Because ten
years time, because I loved him. We had a good night,
(05:59):
is what she said. After that, That sex Stockholm syndrome,
and it's finest.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
That's the latest on that. Again, I wanted to make
sure you had it.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
I think cross examin cross exam is going to start
today and they are probably gonna go pretty hard on that.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
By the way, did he is being charged? Remember? Did
he is being charged?
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Not with sexual assault, five counts, including one count of rico,
two counts of sex trafficking, two counts of transportation to
engage in prostitution. I think prosecution is establishing groundwork to say, hey,
if he was capable of this stuff, he's capable of rico.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
All right.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
Second, and three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
It was a sell out crowd for Pete Rose at
Great American Ballpark last night and it just was a celebration.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Here's Fawn Rose.
Speaker 5 (06:50):
I appreciate each and every one of you. Actually, my
entire family appreciates each and every one of you for
coming here tonight like a world.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
Series sell out to celebrate Charlie Hussell, the hit King,
our dad and our grandkid, Pete Rose.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Thank you all so much for love you.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
So there's a very good chance you were one of
the forty thousand plus people in there. If so, why
don't you talk back with Tiff and let me know
your thoughts on it because I was not inside. And then, lastly,
in three things you need to know, the Bengals release
the schedule and are you willing to travel for Thanksgiving?
Because we play Baltimore on Thanksgiving away? Unfortunately, we've got
four primetime games, one of them at home against the Steelers,
(07:33):
and my new England Patriots are back in town very
close to Thanksgiving as well. In the twenty third preseason
starts week one September seventh.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Is that preseason?
Speaker 2 (07:42):
No, that's not preseason, that's regular season Week one with
the Brown September seventh away. That is three things you
need to know for the fifteenth.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Speaking of the.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Bengals, what is in Jamar Chase's bag when that man travels?
Speaker 3 (07:55):
What are his essentials?
Speaker 1 (07:57):
What is it?
Speaker 2 (07:58):
Is there a chapstick in there too? What's essential in
Jamar Chase's bag. We'll get to that at seven twenty.
Good morning, Good morning, you're waking up with Tip in
the morning.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
On Kiss one oh seven. I want to shout out
to Megan Mitchell.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
Her and I usually go back and forth right around
this time on Instagram. There are multiple ways to get
in touch with my show. I'm firing on all cylinders.
I check the phone lines, which is a very like
millennial boomer thing to do. The talkbacks are usually where
like the girlies come in and the cold beer guy
he comes in, and Hunter comes in. Those are like
(08:29):
leaving me voice notes. Voice notes have grown in popularity.
Are you a voice notes person? That's why we created
that feature, and I use it all the time on
my show, And then sometimes people DM me and so
we do all three or four or five forms of
communication on the show whatever fits best for you. Why,
(08:50):
because it's free to be a part of this. It
is low commitment. I love low commitment. I love it.
I love it so much. And it's come as you are,
whoever you are, Okay. We play good music, content, conversation,
all of the above. Search Kiss one oh seven one
on the iHeartRadio app because we're commercial free, and that
is where you leave those talkbacks, those voice notes. Microphone
(09:12):
is in the top right hand corner.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
I say all that to say.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Megan was dming me and she's like, hey, are you
following this Karen Reid trial. My New England and Boston
friends we call it the Karen Reid Trial, and I am.
It's all over my feed. But that's because my inner
circle is in Boston, some of them not obviously, I
have lots here in Cinci as well. And it's it's
it's intent, it's insane.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
But it's now starting to go national.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
It's national news sites are picking up the Karen Reid trial.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
Here's what I need from you.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
If you are interested, I've got like inside take, I've
got insider information.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
I've got the inside take.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
If you're a true crime drunk junkie in your ears
are perking up right now and you're like, yeah, I
want to know about this Karen Reid trial. The Karen
Reid trial, Shoot me a DM, shoot me in one
of those talkbacks, whatever feels good for you, because if so,
if you want me to cover it, I will. I
just didn't know if Cincinnatians cared about Karen Reid Okay
commercial Free. I absolutely love this dough Chi song.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
Do you know it? Do you know the words? By now?
Speaker 2 (10:16):
You obviously recognize the beat because it sounds like gotier
but enjoy and coming up around seven twenty, what's in
Jamar Chase's back?
Speaker 3 (10:27):
Does he have a chapstick to when he travels?
Speaker 1 (10:30):
You're waking up with Fifth in the morning, hun Kiss
one seven one?
Speaker 2 (10:34):
What's the one thing you can't travel without?
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Talk back with tif on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
As I get into this, what's the one game that
Jamar Chase doesn't leave his house without when he's traveling?
I love There's something about a packing video that sucks
me in TikTok Instagram. If I see someone organizing their suitcase, I'm.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Like, what's in there?
Speaker 1 (10:58):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (10:58):
I'm nosy, what's in your what are you carrying around?
And secondly, nothing makes me happier than a well packed
back God, organization is my key is my love language.
Speaker 6 (11:11):
You know.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
I like to declutter. I cleaned out my dad's quarderhouse.
It's my favorite. Same It's the same feeling I get
when I have a well packed suitcase or a well
packed trunk. Nonetheless, Complex Sports did this thing with Jamar
Chase and it's called x ray where they go through
his carry on bags and they say what's in here?
And if you have a couple of minutes to guess
(11:32):
While he's talking about but what's the one childhood game
that Jamar Chase always keeps with him?
Speaker 3 (11:37):
Do you have any guesses?
Speaker 7 (11:38):
Jamar Chase, Cincinnati Bings Wide Receiver AKA, you know this
is my x ray APU watch, basically my everyday watch.
Sometimes I'll work out with it. Next it's my boots
or two flours, that's what I call them, easier name
for everybody. Get used to it, and I think about
these they slip on easy. I just love z up
in the back all right next to my phones. I
got two of them, once for family emergencies, business hand
(12:00):
it's another one. Got my email and social media on
one of them with the emails and the socials. Definitely
got the phone with the music. When I'm walking through
the airport, I'm just playing whatever. I'll listen to all
this very future old classics, though not none of the
new ones.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
I like the classics, oh.
Speaker 7 (12:14):
Just the bad They usually stop me fuckings my jewelry
in here. I hold so much metal in here, just
where my headphone's at brush for the hair cut my
hair off. So now I got a low cut cologne
in here and get y'all at so I'll just show
y'all back. And then I got some Uno cars. Everybody
know my name Uno, so I keep these in here
just to have a little party going on. Usually wherever
I go, everybody be like, why they call you?
Speaker 8 (12:33):
You know?
Speaker 7 (12:34):
So sometimes I got a band bag in the day.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
The girls used to like this.
Speaker 7 (12:38):
I think they still.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Do, do they?
Speaker 8 (12:40):
Do?
Speaker 3 (12:40):
They? Girls? You like when Jamar Chase carries un know.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
I don't know why that suck out to me, obviously,
because if it's his name, I think it's just seeing
someone worth so much money at the moment and be
one of the star wide receivers in the NFL carry
around like.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
A kid's game. I love it.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
I carry around the deck of cards with me usually
wherever I go, just in case and in the summertime.
I picked this up from Emily in Paris season one,
when the lady the head publisher of that of the
PR Company or the magazine whatever it is that Emily
works at, she says in her French accent, that she
never leaves the house in the summer without a bikini,
so I always have one in me, Like there have
(13:20):
been times I've gone out into the banks and I
have a two piece bathing suit in my fanny bag
just in case I run into someone that has a
pool or a boat. We can go out on the
Ohio River that night. Potter's come prepared. Those are the
two things you need to know about me when it
comes to what's in my bag in the summer, Always
a bathing suit?
Speaker 3 (13:40):
And what was the other thing?
Speaker 2 (13:41):
I said? God, I'm sorry, my health is a little
off this morning, so my brain is as well.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
And you know someone who's.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Neurodiversion, it is not easy for not hard for them
to slip out. Nonetheless, I want to know what is
in your bag? What's your must have? The Bengals schedule
came out last night. Will you be traveling for any
of those games? What will you put in your bag
to go see Jamar Chase? What's a must for you?
If you don't feel like calling, Although I'd love to
hear your voice because I'm the gift of gab over
(14:09):
here five win, three seven, four nine, one oh seven one.
But if you prefer to leave me a talkback with Tiff,
that's a This is a great way to test out
the feature microphone is in the top right hand corner
of the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
You just hold that down and leave me a voice now, So.
Speaker 7 (14:26):
I mean, other the data fool's not the best way
to work on that.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
Good morning, that's certainly a way to get up. Hi,
It's Tiff from Tiff in the Morning on Kiss one
oh seven to one.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
You're on the air. Good morning, Hey, this is Terry
from Sharonville. Terry from Sherry.
Speaker 9 (14:42):
I just want to share a little more trivia about Uno.
Did you know that it was founded in readin Ohio?
And if you go down to the Bridal District on
Denton Street, there's a set or a hand of Buno
cards on the side of Red Wine and Company.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Wait, what Una was gate?
Speaker 5 (14:58):
Una was?
Speaker 3 (15:00):
Una was created in Cincinnati.
Speaker 9 (15:02):
Ready, Ohio A gentleman from Reading.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Job, I did not know that.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Google it, girl.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
Yeah, Terry, I am going to google it while we're talking.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Oh my god, the draw flour bes.
Speaker 9 (15:18):
Some fun Cincinnati trivia.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
Okay, well, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
If I guess, well, while I have you while you're here.
What's the one thing you have to have in your bag?
Speaker 9 (15:27):
Girl, I always have lipstick.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
Speaking to my heart on that tear. Thanks for the
call if you're just walking into the conversation. Bengal schedule
came out last night and Complex did a video with
Jamar Chase asking him what's in his bag when he travels.
That's what we're talking about at the moment. For him,
he always travels with a deck of Uno, a deck
of Uno cards. Who knew that it was from Cincy?
(15:51):
You're laughing yourself. You're like, I knew everyone knew. Tiff
your last to the party on this one. I'm gonna
roll over to our talk backs. Alternative way to get
involved in the show.
Speaker 10 (16:00):
I need underwear, at least a change of underwear, a
change of clean clothes, body soap, lotion, and powder.
Speaker 6 (16:09):
That's minimum.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Okay, Well those are standard. Toilet trees are standard. But
everyone has their must What is yours?
Speaker 6 (16:16):
In a perfect world?
Speaker 10 (16:17):
I want a bottle of rose.
Speaker 11 (16:18):
I want my dog, and I want like a really
hot bathing suit that like smoothed my stilite and made
my boobs look perfect.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Okay, A girl's dream you're all speaking of my soul.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
And then I said, the one thing that I do
not leave the house without when I'm traveling, and also
like literally just going out for the night, especially in
the summer, is a bathing suit. I learned that from
an episode of Emily in Paris. The woman the head
of that publishing company, that pr company, she doesn't leave
her house without a bikini.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
And I was like, I want to live that lifestyle.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
You know, you start to manifest, and I want to
manifest finding someone with the boat or finding someone with
the pool, and if that happens late at night, I'm available.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
You know me, you know me.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
I also like to have a deck of cards with
me kind of wherever I go. I think headphones are
standard as well, coming in at a hot third, and
then some sort of lipstick.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
Always, always we had time for one more water, chapstick
and a good book. You know, you can't go wrong.
I agree. I agree.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
You're more than welcome to contribute if you would like
to be a part of this free, free community. Those
are all talkbacks search kiss on iHeartRadio microphones in the
top right hand corner. We're not far off from three
things you need to know coming up at seven point
fifty Rihanna has a new song.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
You are waking up with Tiff in the morning on
Kiss one oh seven one. We are not far off
from the three things you need to know to get
your day started in Sinci. But first I want to
squeeze in one more talkback because I think this person
might be listening right now and I want to make
sure that they feel seen and heard.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
Here we go in any moment.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Okay, so I've never called it before, But to answer
your question, I.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
Can't leave the house without my headphones.
Speaker 10 (18:09):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
I just listen to music all the time, so I
need them on me.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Well, I get that, and thank you for the talk
back with Tiff C. I always ask for first timers
microphones on the top right hand corner. When you hold
that down, the microphones there and you leave me a
little No headphones was one I forgot to mention, but
that is a good one, all right. Three minutes from now,
speaking of traveling right, maybe needing your headphones? Where are
you willing to go to see the Bengals this year
(18:37):
schedule came out. I'll have that for you and more
in three things next.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
When you need to know she's got you. It's th.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
Hey, good morning.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
If you're wondering why Diddy is charged with Rico and
how that relates back to Cassie Ventura, hang tight. We
are just before eight o'clock. At eight thirty, I've got
Avlev tickets for you. She was certainly a skater boy.
He was a skater boy, she said, see a later boy.
Before we get to any of that and wherever my
(19:11):
brain was going this morning, let's start off with Pete
Rose Night, a big celebration, a sellout crowd at Great
American Ballpark honoring Pete Rose and Charlie Hustle.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
Here's Fawn Rose.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
Appreciate each and every one of you, Actually, my entire
family appreciates each and every one of you for coming
here tonight like a world series sellout to celebrate.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
Charlie Hustle, the hit king, our dad, and our grandkid,
Pete Rose.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
Then you own the much trouble, big night lots and
the sellouts like forty thousand plus people. So there's a
very good chance you were one of those forty thousand.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
If so, let me know what it was like in there.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Talk back with tiff On iHeartRadio microphones in the top
right hand corner, so that I feel like I was
inside too. Just a that Pete Rose was put on
the permanently ineligible list August of nineteen eighty nine for
betting on baseball games while he was managing the Cincinnati Reds,
and the Commissioner of Baseball said that he is now eligible.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
They will vote on that in twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
Okay, Second, and three things you need to know this
morning again, every time you sit down in your court
of law, inside your car, or you home or your home,
when I talk about Diddy, you are trying to decide
if you in your jury, was it coercion or was
it consent? Okay, Ditty is not charged with sexual assault,
and neither one of those sides, prosecution or defense, is denying.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
The fact that he was abusive. But Ditty is charged
with RICO.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
He's also charged five counts, including one count of racketeering
also known as rico, two counts of sex trafficking, two
counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. If convicted, he
could face life. If you are wondering how Cassi Ventura
gets him a RICO charge, here you go in.
Speaker 11 (21:02):
Order to prove rackets hearing, the prosecution is going to
have to show that mister Combs and others conspired together
to further illegal acts. In this particular case, the prosecution
is trying to show that mister Combs, along with assistants
and his security members and other members of his staff,
were aware that they were giving illegal drugs out, that
they were taking individuals such as Cassie and others against
(21:24):
their will to do these sexual acts.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
You got it, Okay, cool, I'm going to give you
time and space to leave right now if you need to,
if this is a trigger warning for you, because I
am going to talk about Cassie a little bit here.
Nine hours in total on the stand for prosecution alone
over two days. Yesterday's highlights they talked about the book,
right this tell El book. And I think anyone who's
gone through a breakup or any sort of heartache, if
(21:48):
I were to relate it back to you, and I
remember kind of going through this having all my thoughts
in like a journal, having everything that I wanted to
say that I couldn't say, and giving it to that
person and wanting them to hear me. That's what I
kind of think this book was for Cassie. She wanted
to make sure she read it. It's her side of
the story. And she said to him, if you don't
want this to get out, you give me thirty million
(22:10):
and you've got twenty four hours. He said, I don't
want this to get out. Here's twenty million, and she
took it. That was that lawsuit that we talked about
last year, you remember that. Prosecution says, well, why are
you talking now? And she almost says, I feel like
I need to get this story out. I feel like
I did wrong. I feel like I feel like I
did something wrong here. And you know what I find
(22:32):
about the common threat of victims is they often speak out,
not on behalf of them, but to hopefully inspire someone
else that might need it.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
We'll get into the freak offs a little bit here too.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
She was asked, well, how many, and she said more
than I can count, over one hundred. She would get
UTI is so bad that antibiotics wouldn't do anything for
her right because she would go on the cycle of
the antibiotic. It takes time to recover recover from the freakoff,
essentially get right back into another one. At one point,
she had sores on her tongue, and they said, and ladies,
you know if you've gotten a UTI. Prosecution said, how
(23:03):
did you get through that? She said, I was drugging myself.
Diddy did She also claimed that Diddy did it, did
rape her. And then that same night they also had
consensual sex.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Right.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
He had gone to her house because he had given
her money to hire a personal trainer, and that was
Alex Fine, who her husband is today, and he said,
you know, he didn't like that, so he sexually assaulted her.
Later that night they had consensual sex. And asked why,
she said, I loved him. I loved him, and that
we had a good time. That was like a good
(23:34):
part of the night. That's Stockholm syndrome. Cross examination going
to start today. When there's more, I'll have it for
you all right. Lastly, quick quick, in three things. The
schedule came out for the Bengals. We've got the things
giving game four primetime games, one of them at home
against the Steelers, and they're playing my Patriots. That is
three things you need to know for the fifteenth of May.
Coming up at eight thirty, your chance to win the
(23:56):
Avrilavine tickets.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
Good morning, you're waking up in the morning. Kiss.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
You know that gut feeling that you get when you
have to cancel on someone? Am I the only one
that experiences that, Sarah?
Speaker 12 (24:11):
I get anxiety over it? But I is that I
love when someone cancels on me. I go right back
to bed with my dog. It's my favorite thing when
someone cancel. It's kind of like I hate buying gift
cards for people, but I give I love when I
get them as a gift. And so's the why why
do we hate canceling?
Speaker 2 (24:28):
I have this heavy level of guilt attached to this
right now. So yeah, as a debrief for you, I'm
supposed to get on a flight tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
This is gonna be kind of a wild story.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
I'm supposed to get on a flight tomorrow morning at
six am to go back to Boston for a family reunion.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
If you can believe it.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
My brothers are meeting or we're supposed to meet for
the very first time ever this weekend.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
One is in their forties, one is in their twenties.
And if you're curious as to like how the hell has.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
Even came about?
Speaker 2 (25:00):
We have different moms, we have eyelied, we have different dads.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
We all have the same mom. This is exciting and
this is a big deal for me.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
When the finance guy and I split, I wanted to
make a point to really connect with my own family,
kind of come from a broken home. I've shared this
a little bit. You know, my mom and I are close.
She lives in Florida. She has a couple of other
kids that she is not close with. And I think
blended families are a whole millennial thing, right, which millennial
family isn't blended?
Speaker 3 (25:27):
Actually yours isn't.
Speaker 12 (25:28):
Here's a traditionality, normal West Side family.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
So my brother Maxwells's birthday today, by the way, he's
turning twenty seven. And my brother is in his and
he lives in Atlanta. And my brother Gregory is in
his forties, he lives in Massachusetts. That's like a very
baseline of the story. They've never met. So I was
flying in to facilitate like a big family reunion that
I planned that I paid a ticket for. Like I'm
(25:54):
literally supposed to get on this flight tomorrow. Yeah, and
I have to cancel. Why I'm not well, Like I know,
I sound okay on the air, and I'm coming in
and I'm doing my job but I'm like internally bleeding
right now. Oh no, doctors cannot figure it out. And
this has been happening for almost three weeks, guys, like
(26:16):
more so in the last eight nine days.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
I've gone to three different doctors, have gotten two different tests,
and I'm just not good.
Speaker 12 (26:25):
And you know it's serious because you've been talking about
this trip for months now, and I know you've been
excited for it, and I know this is supposed to
be a big weekend for you.
Speaker 5 (26:36):
I don't know.
Speaker 12 (26:37):
I'm so sorry that you have to do this because
I generally I know that you want to you want
to be there.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
I have not hit cancel on the Delta flight yet,
and like, I'm trying to trust my gut, but my
gut is broken right now, literally broken at the moment.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Yeah, So I don't know. I don't know what to do.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
Like it it's it's broken, and I just I'm at
this point where like, do I hit cancel on this
trip or do I go on the trip?
Speaker 3 (27:11):
Hmm, that's tough.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
I even if flight is short, flight short, it's just
I'm gonna be I want to see my two brothers
get together. But I'm like nervous because of how I'm
not feeling, and like I need to be kind of
close to a home. If you're picking up what I'm
putting down, if it's a stomach.
Speaker 12 (27:28):
Thing, can you let them know in advance, like, oh, yeah,
y know, I'm dealing with something. I want to be
there for you guys, But if I ditch quick on something,
just know that this is what's going on.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
I'm just not going to be in my home. I'm
going to be in a hotel and like it's just
not good. And so I haven't hit cancel on the
trip yet because you know that feeling of like what
it's like to cancel on someone.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
Both of my brothers like Tiff, you need to manage
your health.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
It's okay, like there'll be another time for this, but
I just can't bring myself to do it. And I
don't know what to do. Do I cancel the trip
and focus on my health or my mental health health,
or do I like go through with this like really
big thing that we planned that's also really important to me,
even though I might run into a couple of emergencies
and I'm just like not at my best, Like, do
I go one on my best, or I just go
(28:12):
to go to be there five one three seven four
nine one o seven one. Thank you for your help.
I'm just I'm not okay.
Speaker 3 (28:21):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
If you came to give advice, I really appreciate that.
If you came for the tickets, I also understand that
the keyword for that, I think was family for the
Avri Lavine tickets. In a few minutes high you're on
the air. Thanks for waking up with tip in the morning.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
How are you.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
I'm okay at the moment. At the moment, it's a
little dicey comes and.
Speaker 8 (28:42):
Goes, yeah, I'm so sorry. I know what that's like
to have GI issues. It is scary, it is no fun,
and like you said, it's not ideal.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
When you're not near a home.
Speaker 8 (28:52):
The only thing that comes to mind is one like
this is such a big deal, and I can hear
in your voice that you want to go so bad
and I want this for you. And Boston has killer hospitals,
like really top notch. It'd be different if you're going
to like Louisiana to your family. But part of me thinks, like,
you know, since you're going to be in such a
Roebuck area, in terms of medical care and like your family,
(29:13):
you know, I don't know. I feel like if I
were you, I would take some amodal.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
And I get on that plane.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
Okay, that's one, get on the plane.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
I appreciate you. What's your name? What neighborhood? Wakeing up
with me?
Speaker 6 (29:24):
And my name is Sam.
Speaker 3 (29:26):
I'm in Mason, Ohio.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
Thanks for caring, girl. I appreciate you seriously, though.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
Hi, you're on the air. We got time for another girl.
Speaker 10 (29:32):
You have to listen to your body. I've been in
this situation before and I've gone and stayed back, and
I do regret going it, and it's a pittance, but
I just feel like you need to listen to your
body at this point and do what's right for you
and your brothers will understand.
Speaker 3 (29:47):
What's your name? What neighbor are you calling me from?
Speaker 9 (29:49):
I'm Sammy.
Speaker 6 (29:50):
It's from the east.
Speaker 3 (29:50):
Side, Sammy. Thanks so much for caring. I appreciate you. Gal.
Speaker 10 (29:53):
You're welcome girl. I'll be thinking about you.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
Thank you, Thank you all right, thank you so much
for holding go ahead.
Speaker 3 (29:58):
What are your thoughts? Quick quick f for me?
Speaker 6 (30:00):
I think you should stay home because you're very sick
and it's something should go down. You need to be
where your doctors know you. You go out of town,
these doctors don't know you. Something kind of goes off,
and then eh so and then this sounds like an
important trip that I would want to be there, and
I would want to be healthy because I want to
show my brotus what it's about to be family together,
(30:23):
because we ain't got much time left.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
Man, Well, thank you so much for the call. I
appreciate you. I'm so torn on whether or not to
cancel this delta flight.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
Thanks for taking the time.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Give me three minutes, then I'm going to get you
to aver Levine tickets.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
You're waking up with six in the morning on chis
one O seven to one.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
He was definitely a skater boy, and she said, see
you later. Boy. If you've get the keyword, do you
want to go see aver Levine? I think is it
June second? June eighth's in June first? First the chunk
of the I'm not well. I'm not well, so my
brain's having a hard time functioning with my mouth.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Just start.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
If you have the keyword, you want to go see
ave Lavine? My god, Tiffany five win three seven nine,
one seven one. We were just talking about family and whatnot.
If you're walking into the show for the very first time,
I had said that I had planned this family reunion
for my two brothers, my two half brothers, to meet
for the very first time. It's a wild thing to
(31:22):
think about, but I know I can't be alone in having,
you know, a unique dynamic for a family, right My
brother is younger lives. I grew up in Florida. My
older brother grew up in Massachusetts, where I'm from, and
they've never met.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
And I'm supposed to go to Boston.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
In fact, I'm supposed to get on this flight tomorrow,
but I'm not feeling well to the point where I've
gone and saw see three doctors and I'm just like
a part of the reason why I'm having a hard
time doing the show, although I sound okay, is my
brain is just having a hard time functioning. I'm down
to like eating one meal a day. It's not very good.
So everyone has felt this feeling, though not the one
(31:58):
I'm going through, hopefully not, but like that horrible feeling
of having to cancel something that you really want to
go to or be a part of. That's what I'm
struggling with so bad right now, and whether or not
I hit cancel on this delta flight for tomorrow morning
or go and support my family.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
I don't know what to do.
Speaker 9 (32:15):
Bro, say home. I have nobody's medical doctor, but I'm
pretty sure.
Speaker 3 (32:21):
That flying is bad man, when you have a leading problem.
Speaker 13 (32:25):
If I'm not mistaken, you could go ahead and hemorrhage.
Speaker 9 (32:28):
So Bro, this should not.
Speaker 6 (32:31):
Be a question.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
I'm obsessed. Thank you for the talk back with TIF.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
We needed a last We needed that. The microphone is
in the top right hand corner of the air heard up.
If you want to contribute, you sound like my mom.
You know how moms do it.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
Mom.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
My mom has called and texted me like four times
and been like, well have you have you thought about
colon cancer? Have you thought about colon cancer? I'm like, Mom,
you're not helping anyways. I've got one more of a
fall line. You want to go be a skater boy,
you want to go to Avrillevine this summer.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
Five win, three seven four nine one O seven one.
I'll just give you the keyword again because.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
We all need a little help. This morning it was
family call me.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning on Kiss
one O seven to one.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
Good morning. I am hoping you have a keyword for me.
Speaker 1 (33:16):
Yes, I do.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
Family, Congratulations your callar ten. You got the keyword. You're
going to Avril Levine.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
You girl, erby what you're a girl?
Speaker 3 (33:27):
Wait me girl will meet.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
Yes, I'm down. I mean you together.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
You don't have to ask me twice.
Speaker 6 (33:35):
Okay, maybe I'm serious. I'm dead.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
It's serious. I have no one to go with. Well,
my husband's.
Speaker 6 (33:40):
Fifty nine and my kid just turned eighteen.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
I'm ready to go. Girl.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
I love that for us.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
Your name's your voice sounds familiar. So who am I
talking to?
Speaker 6 (33:48):
You're talking to Amy Clark from the West Side, best side, Baby,
that's right, Jo.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
I'm a thankful listener, honey, Amy, I love.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
I need that mom energy since I'm not feeling well
this morning.
Speaker 3 (33:59):
I really do. Thank you for listening to TIF in
the morning.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
No problem.
Speaker 6 (34:03):
I listened to you every morning, love, and I'm going
to continue.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
So you're done for the day.
Speaker 6 (34:07):
Appreciate what you feel better, loud, and I hope you
can get to be with your brothers.
Speaker 10 (34:12):
Well.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
Thanks for the insight, gal, and thank you for listening.
If you took an ell on these Averrol tickets. I'll
do it again tomorrow. We'll set a reminder eight thirty Okay,
give me, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
Three or four minutes.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
Can you stick around because I've got the three things
you need to know to get your day started in Cincy.
And guess who has a song coming out tomorrow? Guess
who has a song coming out tomorrow?
Speaker 3 (34:35):
Rihanna.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
I'll have some of that.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
For you, nex.
Speaker 1 (34:39):
Lynn. You need to know she's got you. It's three
Things with TIF.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
Good morning, Rihanna's coming out with new music tomorrow, full stop.
Rihanna has new music tomorrow. I don't I don't know
what to do with myself. I'll get to that in
a hot second morning. We're just before nine o'clock nine
oh five. Your first chance to pick up that grand
Memorial Day weekend like two less than two weeks out.
(35:06):
I'm sure you'll need it if you're traveling Before we
get to Rihanna, I simply can't do Diddy for the
third hour of Three Things. You can always get caught
up on the podcast if you want to hear the
breakdown for it. I just think it's time to take
a little break from that, why don't we start off
with the Bengals. Okay, schedule came out. Are you interested
in traveling for Thanksgiving to Baltimore?
Speaker 1 (35:27):
No?
Speaker 2 (35:28):
I don't want to go to Baltimore, but I love
the fact that we're playing a night game on Thanksgiving.
We've got four primetime games, one of them at home
against the Steelers. My Patriots come here in week twelve,
November twenty third, that's the one I looked at the most.
Week one kicks off away against the Browns on September
seventh at one o'clock. And then, of course you can
go online and look at the rest of the schedule
if you're looking to book travel. Actually, if you're looking
(35:50):
to book travel, how about you try for that thousand
dollars at nine oh five.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
Okay, second in.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
Three things you need to know this morning, I was
waiting so that you and I could sit down together
for this. Rihanna is dropping her first song in three
years for the Smurfs soundtrack movie. I have not heard
it yet. I was waiting for you and I to
listen together. Here's the clip. We will debrief after. Okay, Obviously,
(36:25):
there were like little smurfets in the background, So I
want to hear that removed.
Speaker 3 (36:28):
But it sounded like that beat was picking up and
I like that.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
I'll give you a million points for your tip in
the Morning Points Bank if you can tell me which
other two soundtracks Rihanna has contributed music to. She is
not shy to contributing soundtracks to movies. This one is obvious.
This is the one that was three years ago from
the Marvel movie, the Wakanda movie.
Speaker 1 (36:52):
Me uh oh ce.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
Ma clo.
Speaker 8 (37:06):
Soon.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
So if you're wondering what the other one was, this
is from years ago. It was a DreamWorks movie called Home,
and she did a song called Dancing in the Dark.
Speaker 3 (37:20):
Here's a clip.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
Up the night.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
You know, if you've got Disney Plus, will you look up?
Will you look that up for me and see if
Home is on Disney Plus. I want to watch that.
It's been a minute since I've seen that movie. I
also believe she played the main character in them. Okay,
I will have that song for you in full, the
new Rihanna song tomorrow and tif in the morning.
Speaker 3 (37:46):
You best believe all right.
Speaker 2 (37:48):
Lastly, and three Things you Need to Know sell Out
Ballpark standing room only for Pete Rose night here's here's
Fawn Rose.
Speaker 5 (37:57):
I appreciate each and every one of you. Actually, my
entire family appreciates each and every one of you for
coming here tonight like a world series sellout to celebrate.
Speaker 3 (38:09):
Charlie Hustle, the hit king.
Speaker 4 (38:11):
You mean our dad and our grandkid, Pete Rose.
Speaker 5 (38:14):
Thank you all so.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
Much for love you.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
That is three things you need to know for the
fifteenth of May. Coming up at nine oh five, I
have that first chance for you to secure a thousand bucks.
The best way to keep listening to Kiss one of
seven one is by searching that radio station on iHeartRadio,
the free app.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
You're waking up kiss All.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
I'm gonna take heap for this. I'm all right.
Speaker 2 (38:37):
I'll stand on this island by myself. Dog people are
weird people. You guys are weirdos, and there's nothing wrong
with that. I should say unique. I mean, I'm a
huge weirdo. You know that by listening to this show.
We all have our own quarks, her own uniqueness. That's
what I love about people. That's my favorite quality about people.
(38:57):
Is there a weirdness. But dog people are weirdos. The
reason why I'm talking about it. You might have one
in your house. You might be yelling at me through
the radio or your phone.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
That's okay.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
One in seven people admit that they ditch their partner
to help this one thing live longer. You're married to someone,
You're in love with, a human being that you can
have a conversation with, go back and forth with, have intimacy.
Speaker 3 (39:20):
With, go on trips with, do life with.
Speaker 2 (39:26):
One in seven people say that they ditch their partner
to help their dog live longer.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
Are you thinking right now? Are you like, yep, I
am her, I am he?
Speaker 6 (39:38):
She is me?
Speaker 2 (39:42):
And ten percent of those people say there's literally no
limit as to what they would do, which makes me think,
oh god, oh god. What are some other things that
people are willing to say goodbye to if not their
husband or their wife to save their dog. Gen z
would gladly say goodbye to their favorite meal. Gen xers
would cut coffee forever, which is tough. I mean that
(40:04):
X generation loves coffee, and baby boomers would be willing
to have their entertainment spoiled for them.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
I don't know what that necessarily means.
Speaker 2 (40:15):
Well, that's not really giving up a lot, it's not
really sacrificing a lot for your dog to be honest. Overall,
the theme is that people would spend more for food
to make.
Speaker 3 (40:25):
Sure their dog with this was as healthy as possible.
Speaker 2 (40:28):
That's why you see all those like popular brands popping
up for healthy dog food.
Speaker 3 (40:35):
Yeah, it made me giggle.
Speaker 2 (40:38):
How many of you are thinking right now, sit next
to your husband and your wife seeing and saying like,
see you later.
Speaker 3 (40:43):
I'm here for the.
Speaker 1 (40:44):
Dog you're waking up with fifth in the morning. Kiss.
Speaker 2 (40:48):
What's the one thing you always keep in your bag
when you're traveling? But I guess so kind of Whenever
the Bengal schedule came out last night, you're walking into
the daily deprief, okay, every day writer around this time,
I revisit what I think to be the biggest thing
that we.
Speaker 3 (41:03):
Talked about in the last couple of hours you know,
of our show.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
And we revisit it, giving you a chance to get
caught up, and we also get to some talkbacks that
we maybe didn't get to in the moment, some leftovers.
Bengal schedule came out. Are you going to be traveling
for Bengals games? What are you going to keep in
those bags? Jamar Chase caught up with complex, and they
asked him, Hey, what's in your suitcase? They did this
segment called X ray, so they went through his carry
(41:26):
on bags, showed off, of course, a.
Speaker 3 (41:28):
Lot of expensive jewelry.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
But the one thing that made me giggle is that
he brings this childhood game with him whenever he travels.
Speaker 7 (41:35):
And then I got some Uno cars. Everybody know my
name Uno, so I keep these in here just to
have a little party going on. Usually wherever I'd go,
everybody'd be like, why they call you Uno? So sometimes
I got a band bag in a day of girls
used to like this.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
So there we go.
Speaker 2 (41:48):
You catch Jamar Chase out in public, he most likely
as a deck of Uno cards. But what's the one
thing you carry in your bag? Okay, maybe you're going
to pack one to go see the Bengals at some
point in this coming season.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
Start with the talkbacks.
Speaker 13 (42:00):
I always keep a nail file or nail clippers in
my purse at all time.
Speaker 2 (42:05):
Ooh ooh, ooh. This might be one of my favorite
calls that I had gone from the day as well.
Speaker 1 (42:12):
Fan.
Speaker 2 (42:13):
I will bring a fan anywhere I go. I have
to have a fan. Uh are we talking like a
handheld fan that you walk around a carnival with.
Speaker 3 (42:22):
Are we talking like a box fan?
Speaker 9 (42:25):
I'm talking a stand up fan, a little night stand fan.
Speaker 3 (42:29):
I loved it.
Speaker 2 (42:32):
You have to let me know if you are the same.
What are you keep in your bag? You can use
that same talkback feature, by the way, that's on the
iHeart app. The microphone is in the top right hand corner.
When you hold that down, you've got thirty seconds.
Speaker 3 (42:44):

I am one of them.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
Done, kiss one, Hey, good morning, good morning, good morning.
Well today was certainly a unique show for me personally,
and I appreciate all of your insight as to what
I should do about this flight that I have booked
that I'm going to have to cancel, I think for
(43:30):
health related reasons. In fact, there were a few talkbacks
that got left on the table that I want to
make sure we squeeze in before we wrap the show.
Speaker 13 (43:38):
Is it possible for you to go just for the day.
It sounds like the flight is only a couple hours away,
So if you go for the day, maybe get a
late flight back in the evening. At least you can
you can go, you can see them, you can be
with your family, and then you can come home for
health reasons, and you don't have this big worry about
(43:59):
something going wrong with you being away from home. So
that's what I would recommend, if possible, maybe just go
for the day and come back.
Speaker 2 (44:05):
That's a really good take. I'll look into it. I
think it might be a hair too late at this
point to change my flight around. I had mentioned that
I was going home for a family thing and I'm
just I'm struggling right now with my health, and so
both of my brothers are like, you need to cancel,
and I really don't. The millennial like the you know
that feeling of canceling something on someone, You get that
(44:26):
same feeling. I'm struggling so bad. Thank you for the
talk back with TIF. You two can search kiss on
iHeartRadio and leave me voice notes. I appreciate them. I
check them all the time. Microphone's in the top right
hand corner. And if you're a little bit more curious
as to what we were talking about alongside the canceling
and trip and health and such, get caught up on
the podcast whenever you have some free time. Tomorrow is Friday.
(44:48):
