Speaker 1 (00:01):
Glenn. You need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tiff On kiss when I was seven.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
One to my great fellow Americans. I am filled with
grief and anger at the heinus assassination of Charlie Kirk
or a college campus in Utah. Charlie inspired millions, and
tonight all who knew him and loved him are united
in shock and horror.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
All right. That was the voice of President Donald Trump
announcing the passing of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk,
who was murdered on a college campus in the middle
of the day yesterday in Utah during a speaking event
where he was out on tour. Can I be honest
with you, I feel a little disingenuous talking about Charlie

(00:47):
Kirk this morning because I didn't know a single thing
about him.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
I just did not run my circle of consumption.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
So I don't want I don't really know what to
say about him other than the facts that we have
at this point in the morning. From what I'm hearing,
the shooter was well over two hundred yards away, and
the FBI doesn't have a single person in custody at
this point in the morning that I know about they

(01:17):
had two people for questioning, didn't find anything and had
to release them. Charlie is survived by two small children
and his wife. And when there's more on that one,
I will have it for you. And I just don't
consume violence on the internet, so I have not seen
the video to be transparent with you, and it will

(01:39):
be something that I will continue to scroll past to
protect my peace.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
And I hope you're okay. And I'll tell you this.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
One thing that it does is it prompts a lot
of conversation amongst my friends, my inner circle. My sister
and I were voice noting back and forth about it
this morning, So I hope you know you've got a
friend in me.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Right second in three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
This morning, it's always hard to transition out of stories
like that into the next thing, and I wish I
had a little bit better of news for you. But
it is the anniversary of nine to eleven, and it
is one of those things where we'll forever know where
we are and we'll remember where we were when it happened.
If you grew up during that time, I was in

(02:23):
the sixth grade, and I think you might have a
similar story. Some things that are happening around Cincinnati. People
are climbing the UC steps as we speak, in honor
of the firefighters that climbed those towers. Summit Park, I
think is having like a little moment of silence in
the nine o'clock hour, followed by like a memorial run
and walk, and then of course in New York City

(02:43):
at ground zero, they will recite all of the names.
All right. Then lastly, in three things you need to
know this morning, we're gonna do. We're gonna do something.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
A little lighter and I feel you will love this.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Coach ZT was asked in the press conference, Hey, what
are you looking for from fans on site day's home opener.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
Yeah, here's exactly what I'm looking for. I know how
loud we're going to be, and so let's do it early.
Let's show him right out the gate. I think when
Sam Hubbard is up there as the ruler of the jungle,
every seat is packed and i'd i'd love to look
up just for I'm just asking for one game, a
ten minute sacrifice from the parking lot.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
He's like, fans, is there any way you could end
your tailgating like a solid ten minutes early maybe, and
and head head into the game to make sure that
you know we're doing our job to come home with
the two and zero win, and that you do your
job to be really loud and really focused early. So
you heard of that a coach Zt's mouth right there

(03:39):
on TIF in the morning.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
I mean he's got he's got ice in his veins.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Okay. Oh, and by the way, there's a press conference
being held this afternoon to discuss some measures that you
know Cincinnati, the city of since and the police are
going to take for just you know, extra eyes around
the banks as far as you know, protection goes and
things of that nature. So I'll most likely be an
update on that tomorrow and I'll have that for you.
That is three things you need to know for September eleventh,

(04:07):
at twenty twenty five at seven oh five.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
You know, I play the best music. I really I
love it.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
So I would love to have you if you're available,
search kiss one O seven one on the iHeartRadio app.
Take me with you in your little fanny pack or
your pocket, and we'll you know, we'll do the morning together.
Good morning, how are you You're awaken up with TIF
in the morning on a kiss, one oh seven one.
We're always commercial free at this time, and I hope
to always be a friend to you whenever you need it.

(04:34):
You got a friend in me. We're gonna take a
little bit of a break. Obviously. I've seen the news
and scrolled this morning and there's a lot happening. But
we're gonna take a little bit of a break. Are
you okay with that for just a few minutes coming
up three minutes from now. Have you ever brought something
into the office and then had it stolen? Is there
someone in your office that steals food, maybe out of

(04:55):
the fridge or things that you've brought in to bring
joy to your life? You have an office thief, because
we have one on the loose here at iHeartMedia, Sinsey,
and we'll talk about it.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Next you're waking up in the morning. Kiss.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Oh my god? All right, all right, oh my god?
All right.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
One.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Hey, there's a lot of really tough news today. I'm
with you.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
I've seen it, but no, this isn't no Sarah. Here
we go three two one, all right, Sarah sent Sarah
LEAs Is from the Kid Chris Morning Show. I know
there's a lot going on in the news cycle. We're
gonna pivot a little bit. Are you okay with that?
Take a little break with us. We gotta lighten it
up a bit, light it up.

Speaker 6 (05:47):
We gotta lighten up.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
I mean light Sarah.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
Come on, We're.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Gonna take a little detour.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Sarah sent and this is something that I mean.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
It would make me panic to send an email to
our Intel higher office. How many people are on how
many people are on that chain?

Speaker 6 (06:04):
If you send a Cincinnati all sixty seven sixty seven
people received an email from Sarah at least at what
five o'clock this morning?

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Yeah, just about it. Our iHeartMedia offices, say I've never
done this before.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Sarah was a be set And when I got that email,
I said, I'm.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Sad girl, I am sad. I don't mess around when
it comes to stuff like this.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
I am sad. So go ahead, And why don't you
read it?

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Because I it makes me sweat to even read it
out loud. And you know what, I didn't even proof read.

Speaker 6 (06:32):
I kind of just wow from the heart, and I
sense my head would be shaking it. Sixty seven look
like the most important people. I said, good morning friends,
Oh our clients at Skyline Chili sent a media box
to me. However, this box has been opened and a
gift card has been stolen out of it.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
If you have info on this, please let me know.

Speaker 6 (06:53):
Ideally, I would like the gift card back so I
can dine at Skyline Chili and promote their new thank.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
You who stole the gift card? Who stole the gift card?
I would like to know?

Speaker 3 (07:11):
First of all, Sarah is like the queen of Skyline,
the queen no.

Speaker 6 (07:16):
One likes Skyline Chilly as much as you hadn't promise you.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
That you had it at your wedding. I had it
at my wedding.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
It's the first food I ever ate as a baby,
the shredded shudder, the little noodles. I've been dedicated for
over thirty years now to that place, and they were
so kind to send me this beautiful box promoting their
chicken Chill.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Here we go, and I.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Know what's supposed to be in that thing. So I
walk into the studio. The beautiful box is sitting there
and it's been opened, ravaged, ravage, the blue confetti everywhere.

Speaker 7 (07:53):
But I think that you now that the entires email
to am I the drama like the president of our
company is like, is this necessary?

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Not on a day like today? Sarah? Is my timing bad?

Speaker 6 (08:11):
I mean I had to get it out there. We
got to figure out who's doing this, whether it was
good or bad. Girl, it is out there. I can't
take a bait.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Care are no takebacks? Take backs? I still have the
little chicken chili cans.

Speaker 6 (08:23):
Okay, but she doesn't have the gift card. But I
don't have the gift cards. Anyways, we got problems.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
I don't think thievery at the office is exclusive to
iHeartMedia Cincinnati though, right, Like, absolutely not. Is it about
office culture that has people stealing? People get too.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Casual with it? Really like food in the office.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
I don't know what this says about me as a person,
but if there is free food in our office, I
turn into a different person.

Speaker 6 (08:48):
Oh, Willie Cunningham or our friend that works down the
haul ad LW. He's on the afternoons. He had bought
this beautiful package of buck eyes that Shroom's wife made
also on abion. So he buys his package and he
puts it in the fridge. She's got his name on it.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
People just kept eating that.

Speaker 6 (09:06):
He comes out of it and I watched Willy make
the transaction. You know, he gives Shroom the money and
Shrom hands over the buck guys, and and then he
called him out. He called him out on air. He
didn't do the sixty seven Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
All like me.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
He went straight to the public. He went straight to
the airwaves. So depending on how you handle it. But yeah,
I mean I used to work for a sports team
in Cincinnati. Not gonna say who. But the thing to
do there was taking the food out.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Of the fridge. That was a really popular thing. Why
is that such a thing?

Speaker 6 (09:33):
Then there was a sign on the fridge passive aggressive
notes in the kitchen. Oh oh yeah, Oh mine just
was a passive aggressive email.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
All yeah, zero, right to the problem. I feel as
if five win three seven four nine, one oh seven one.
I don't think it's just an I heard Cincy thing.
But is thieving a problem in your office too?

Speaker 8 (09:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (09:54):
I want to hear good morning. You're waking up with
Tiff in the morning on Kiss one oh seven one.
We're still commercial free and we're going to take a
little break from the news. If you're okay with that,
you too have an office thief where you were good
morning you're on the air.

Speaker 9 (10:09):
Never thought that that was an issue at my work,
and I work for a large corporation downtown on the
Square until I had a bag of many donuts on
my desk that randomly disappeared, not the whole bag, but
like three or four out of the bag.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Ray, and you can tell like this bag is starting
to get a little lighter here.

Speaker 9 (10:31):
Yeah, I mean, I know, I only had like six
in there. And then I come in the next day
and I'm like, wait, that was my breakfast and there's
only two left.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
I'm crying. You ever catch who did it?

Speaker 9 (10:40):
No?

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Actually, it just happened yesterday.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
Okay, well, hey, you better keep me in the loop.
What's you name? What neighborhood you waking up with?

Speaker 9 (10:47):
Men, I'm Candas and I'm from the East side of
Cincinnati and Eastgate.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Thanks for calling, Girly. I was just an East skate
at Jungle Gym's. I love that place me too. If
you're just walking into the conversation. Sarah A Least popped
down at my studio. Actually I made it come down
because she sends an email to our entire company all
sixty seven. I heart media sincey employees because someone stole

(11:11):
something out of her skyline, like media box and sending
a company email like the thought of it makes me panic.
But she said, who's out here stealing? And I said,
I bet there are other people here in Cinci that
are experiencing thieves who are Good morning. You're waking up
with Tim in the morning on Kiss one to seven one.
In about an hour, I have your chance to win

(11:31):
Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets. They're coming here early November, and
I believe the pre sale starts today, but I'm going
to get you in before you can even buy them.
We're in the midst of talking about the office thief,
especially when it comes to food. Good morning, you're on
the air, Do you have a story for me?

Speaker 10 (11:46):
So?

Speaker 11 (11:47):
I work at a warehouse and each shift her second third.
Everyone's assigned to a forklift, and you really don't have
nowhere to put your soda, paper drinks. I literally went
on Amazon and want it can clamp to the you
know yeah, and it's fine for all three ships for
two months, and the one time we have overtime.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
It disappeared someone took your little trinket. What's your name?
What neighborhood you wakeing up with me.

Speaker 11 (12:10):
In Jern, Florence.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
I feel really bad.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
He lost his work drink his cup holder.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
The reason why we're even talking about it is because
Sarah at least sent an entire email to our company
because someone stole something from her.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
And I don't know what it is about me.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Maybe it's because I avoid, you know, confrontation in my workspace.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
But I would never send a company email like that.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Not necessarily a story.

Speaker 9 (12:34):
But I got a Joe Burrow bobblehead and I am.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Scared to death to take it into the office. No,
you need to hold onto that thing for dear life.
There is no way he's surviving the season. What's your name?
What neighborhod? You wakeing up with me?

Speaker 2 (12:49):
In?

Speaker 12 (12:50):
Michelle from Covington?

Speaker 4 (12:52):
Michelle?

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Does he have an orange jersey on black white stripe?
What do we have? The orange?

Speaker 4 (12:58):
Orange is a good one?

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Speaking. Did you hear what Zach Taylor asked fans to
do on Sunday's game? If not, can you hang with
me around seven point fifty ish this morning. I'm gonna
I'll play the audio for you in three things you
need to know. Let us do one quick drive by
of our talkbacks because I love him.

Speaker 8 (13:16):
When I worked at Christ's Hospital, given this was a
few years ago, I had a really nice red north
face that I had just got for Christmas. I hung
it up in our company break room and somebody took
it and it had my car keys in the pocket. Unfortunately,
they wouldn't look at the cameras for me and I
ended up having to have someone bring me a spare key.
But I never got my north face back. No idea

(13:39):
what happened to my keys. So even at hospitals, people
take things that aren't theirs.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
I'm speechless.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Your keys, your house keys, your car keys.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
And I mean that is that is something in its
own but stealing the girl's north face jacket, especially US millennials,
that would have cut the core. All Right. I hope you,
I hope you have your belongings, and I hope that
you're off to an okay start when I can put
a smile on your face, maybe provide you a little peace,
little levity on your way into work. We do have

(14:12):
three things you need to know coming up around seven
fifty ish this morning, and you're making me cry laughing today.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
Thank you for that, Glynn.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
You need to know she's got you. It's three things
with tip on.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
So, my great fellow Americans, I am filled with grief
and anger at the heinus assassination of Charlie Kirk on
a college campus in Utah. Charlie inspired millions, and tonight,
all who knew him and loved him, are you united
in shock and horror.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
That was the voice of President Donald Trump announcing the
death of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was
murdered at the age of thirty one. Can I be
honest with you, I didn't know much about Charlie. I
don't consume really any of his content, and so his

(15:11):
name was fairly new to me, and so I feel
a little disingenuous talking about him, because truly I didn't
know much about him.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
Here's what I do know.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
This morning, the FBI had two suspects in custody as
of yesterday, didn't find anything they had to have, you know,
they released them, and at this point in the morning,
the information that I have.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
Is that the shooter is still at large.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
But it does look like whoever shot and killed Charlie
Kirk made that shot from well over two hundred yards away.
This was at a College campus in Utah while he
was out on a public speaking tour. He has survived
by two small children and his wife. And when there
is more on that one, I'll have.

Speaker 4 (15:53):
It for you.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Okay, it's always tough to transition from stories like that
to the next thing, But if you'll allow a little
bit of grace as I transition. This morning, we're going
to talk about the Bengals. We're getting ready, gearing up
for our very first home game on Sunday. I think
how many sleeps are we away. Today's Thursday. We're two
or three sleeps away from our first home game. And

(16:15):
coach Zach Taylor said, fans, this is what we need
from you.

Speaker 5 (16:19):
Yeah, here's exactly what I'm looking for. I know how
loud we're going to be, and so let's do it early.
Let's show them right out the gate. I think when
Sam Hubbard is up there as the ruler of the jungle,
every seat is packed and I'd love to look up
just for I'm just asking for one game, a ten
minute sacrifice from the parking lot, and so that might
just mean getting up ten minutes earlier and getting to

(16:41):
the stadium ten minutes earlier than you normally would and
so do whatever you want of those extra ten and
then that extra ten getting in the stadium. And so
when Sam's the ruler, I'm kind of looking up at
that escalator that's to my right, and it's it's like,
you know, and maybe people just appease me and staying
at the bottom. So I can't see as he's up there,
but I would love to hear that just week one.

(17:02):
The rest of them, you can you can tell, get
a little extra longer. But I think for this first
one to be awesome, just to send the message to
the team, we got to do our best to start
too and zero and for all the great things that
we want to do this year, it starts with playing
great at home.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
Okay, you heard it. He said, get your butt in
that stadium. Plut that bud light, don't and get in
there while you're out tailgating. If you're not in the
lots and you're more of like a banks person like myself.
John John's jungle zone is pretty easy set up right
outside the fils and if you've gone down there, it's
my favorite part of game day. So join us. And
by the way, the city is hosting a press conference

(17:35):
later on this afternoon to talk about safety and such.
I will have it for you tomorrow if you want
to circle back with Tiff in the morning. All right, lastly,
in three things you need to know, let's talk about
River Roots Festival. If I bring the up, do you
know what that is? It was set to be something new,
at least new to me here in Cincinnati, and the
headliners were Weezer, Mountjoy and Maren Morris. And they announced

(17:58):
yesterday that they had canceled those headliners and a statement
to The Inquirer, a spokesperson for the festival said, the
changing entertainment landscape is what is driving the decision to
cancel the paid concerts at the festival, and instead they
will feature free performances by regional and local bands. America's

(18:19):
River Roots Festival was created to bring people together along
our riverfront, and that spirit of community remains the heart
of everything we do. Like many festivals around the world,
we've had to make some difficult choices and changing entertainment
in the changing entertainment landscape, and while the festival continues,
we've decided to cancel the paid stage concerts, probably at

(18:42):
a little bit of.

Speaker 4 (18:42):
A hard time selling tickets, and that's just.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
The landscape of today. I mean, I get it. It
would have been great to see those three all right,
that is three things you need to know for September eleventh.
It is nine to eleven, and I'm thinking of you today.
Twenty twenty five. Coming up in our eight o'clock hour,
when we're commercial free, I'll have your chance to get
into Trans Siberian Orchestra, a show that is coming to Cincinnati,

(19:05):
and the tickets don't go on sale until later on today.
For the pre sale, I'm gonna get you in before
you can even buy them. Good morning, you're waking up.
What's tip in the morning on Kiss one oh seven
one on a gorgeous day here in Cincinnati. I know
there's kind of a lot going on nationally right now,
but I hope you found a good place to stop in,
check out, get a coffee, take a breath, bring some peace,

(19:29):
maybe some levity into your life, and just know that
you always have a friend in me. Okay, we're commercial
free as well, so I would lock in on the
iHeart radio app. If you can search Kiss one oh
seven one on the iHeart Radio app. You have the
option to talk back with Tiff while you're there, coming up,
excuse me, hold on coming up. At eight thirty ish
this morning, I have your chance to win Trans Siberian
Orchestra tickets. They don't go on pre sale it until

(19:52):
I think maybe ten am this morning, so I'm gonna
get you in before you can even buy them. They
have two shows in sincey this early November, so we're
gonna celebrate Tiff miss early with those TSO tickets.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
You will need.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
The keyword journal and I will explain why in two songs.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
You're waking up with fifth in the Morning, Kiss one.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
Good morning on a day like today, why not just
make it all about us?

Speaker 4 (20:19):
Why not coming up at eight thirty.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
By the way, I know there's a lot of news
happening right now, and we're gonna take a little detour
for a little while. Okay, with that, we take a
little bit of a break. I figured at eight thirty
issue have a chance to win a pair of tickets
to TSO before they even go on pre sale later
on this morning.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
You'll need the keyword journal.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
There's gonna be a lot to unpack with the story,
but the baseline of it is how soon into dating
someone or going on dates with them?

Speaker 4 (20:47):
Do you buy them a birthday gift?

Speaker 3 (20:50):
Go ahead and talk back with Tiff, or you can
start dialing five one three seven four nine one oh
seven one.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
It might take me a minute to get to you.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Since we're in the middle of chit chatting about it,
Why don't you tell us the story a little bit?
Bobby Bobby, he's our social media manager.

Speaker 13 (21:01):
Hey guys, Okay, so my birthday is this coming Monday.
As I've made this whole show about for all week. Anyway,
there was a guy I was seeing, very very casually.
We probably went on four dates over the span of
like six months. The other day, I received a mystery
package to my door and there was no note, no
return label. I opened it and it was a beautiful

(21:23):
leather journal with my name inscribed in it because I'm
a writer, a pen with my name inscribed in it,
and then a little note on the pen case that said,
like may the words always flow through you, Happy Birthday.
It didn't take me too long to figure out who
had sent it. But we had not really been seeing
each other. We're kind of not seeing each other. It

(21:45):
was very very casual. I thought the gift was very
sweet and it's no shade to him. Super nice guy.
But I was wondering, like, if you were dating someone
very casually, weren't really seeing them anymore, would you send
them a birthday gift?

Speaker 3 (22:00):
The answer is no, But can you just tell the
audience our listeners really quick as to.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
Why you turned him down?

Speaker 13 (22:06):
In the dating world, I'm still hung up on someone else,
So what didn't you say to him? I basically told him, Look,
you're a very nice guy. I'm not in the place
currently to give you what you want because I think
he was taking it more seriously than I was, and
he kind of knew the whole time what the situation was,
but I did not want to lead him on. I
also didn't have like the bandwidth to even like respond

(22:29):
sometimes and like no one deserves to be like waiting
for a reply.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
I do appreciate your maturity on that one, for sure.

Speaker 10 (22:35):
And I think he did too. Hence maybe the birthday gift.

Speaker 13 (22:38):
Pete probably already had ordered it, like you have to
order those types of things, like it had my name inscribed.

Speaker 10 (22:44):
In it, Bobby.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
The things that I would do to have a leather
bound journal with my name.

Speaker 4 (22:49):
No, that's beautiful gift.

Speaker 8 (22:51):
I know.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
So I think there are a lot of angles that
we could take to this story as to like maybe
why you didn't want to continue to date someone that
was super kind and sweet and precious to you and
you decide to Yeah, you know, that's something to unpack,
to stay within maybe some toxic boundaries. But we will
save that part of the story for maybe a different day.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
What I want to focus on now, though.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Is because because we have different I thought that.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
Was a really sweet gift.

Speaker 13 (23:14):
I do too, And if we were still seeing each other,
I don't think it would have. Like if his birthday
someone I'm just seeing, I would probably get them a
little something like just to be like happy birthday or nothing.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
That's the thing.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
If you were casually dating someone over a few months
and they sent you a leather bound journal with your
name inscribed and a penn with your name inscribed, that's odd.
I think that's a really beautiful, lovely, cherished gift.

Speaker 10 (23:44):
Yes, but.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
How how soon is too soon to start sending someone
gifts like that if you're newly dating.

Speaker 4 (23:56):
I don't really buy people birthday gifts.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
I'd like to write a little car, maybe like a
five dollars ten dollars like venmo for a Starbucks gift
card on your birthday. But if you are newly dating
someone and it's casual and their birthday comes up, do
you acknowledge it?

Speaker 4 (24:12):
Do you ignore it?

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Do you buy them a leather bound journal with their
name inscribed?

Speaker 4 (24:17):
Talk back with TIV on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
The microphone is in the top right hand corner or
five one three seven four nine one oh seven one.
How soon is too soon for the leather bound journal?
Good morning? You're waking up at tim in the morning
on KIS one oh seven one. We're still commercial free
and just a few minutes out from your chance to
win Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets. When you have the keyword journal,

(24:40):
what's what's your stance on buying a birthday gift for
someone that you are newly dating.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
Do you do it?

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Do you not? Do you acknowledge it? What are your thoughts?

Speaker 12 (24:52):
Oh god, okay, I'm about to fall over. You're almost
six hundred dollars. It was on a necklace. U. I'm
really pissed that I've even bought it for that best
person because you know it's over, but that's still Oh man, Oh.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
My god, Thank you for the talkback with Tiff.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
By the way, the microphone is in the top right
hand corner of the iHeartRadio app if you too want
to contribute. So the reason why we're even talking about
this this morning, Bobby's our social media manager. It's his
birthday this coming weekend, and he had showed me a
picture of a leather bound journal with his name on
inscribed on it from a guy that he's.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
Gone on a few dates with.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
Mm hmm, and they aren't really technically dating anymore, but
you receive that beautiful journal and he's a good receive
It is a scoch too early, yep.

Speaker 13 (25:37):
I did think it was a sweet, thoughtful guest, absolutely
for sure. I also assume he ordered it before we like.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
Broke it off, but he's still sent to it.

Speaker 10 (25:46):
Maybe it was sent director with a journal with my
name on it. We'll meet another Bobby, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (25:54):
Maybe I would rather sell it on like an eBay
than go through that. But maybe you know, you guys
connected he thought of you. I thought it was a
thoughtful gift. Yes, it might be a little too early
in the relationship, but again, what are you gonna do with.

Speaker 13 (26:08):
The towards it's a sweet thoughtful gift because like the
bars in hell, am I allowed to say that?

Speaker 4 (26:14):
No for real in the dating world.

Speaker 10 (26:16):
So I'm more on.

Speaker 13 (26:18):
The side of like, it is a very sweet, thoughtful
gift because that shows he actually, like knew my interest,
took an interest in inscribing my name into it.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
I was not expecting our talkbacks to go in the direction.
I mean, I don't think the journal costs six hundred dollars,
but that moment's been six hundred dollars a necklace.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
Wow, that's that's dedication in your opinion?

Speaker 3 (26:36):
How what what's your Do you give it three months,
one week, four dates like you went on one week?

Speaker 10 (26:42):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 13 (26:43):
But if there were a few dates and it was
someone's birthday, I would absolutely do something.

Speaker 10 (26:48):
It would not be to that level of.

Speaker 13 (26:50):
A six hundred dollar necklace or in a leather bound journal,
but it would be like a box of chocolates or
like a little card like happy you.

Speaker 4 (26:59):
Would even go gift. I wouldn't go gift it.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
I would acknowledge it, and I would do a gift
it maybe six months into the relationship.

Speaker 13 (27:07):
How about that, I'm slow? How about I'll take you
to dinner. I'll pay for dinner.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
For your birthday, I'll buy you a martini.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
I spent three thousand dollars on a diamond toenn of
S bracelet for my mom.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
Okay, for the mom.

Speaker 10 (27:19):
Well, that's fine. You hear the end of it, though, No,
because what if there's more to the story and.

Speaker 12 (27:25):
She really needed a little pick me up, so I
wanted to get her something really special.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
Okay, now we've gone down a rabbit hole. Yeah, this
is three thousand dollars on a gift for your mom.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
Feels like a lot to me.

Speaker 10 (27:36):
Yeah. If I had it, of course, I would buy
my parents anything.

Speaker 4 (27:39):
I would not be spending three grand on my dad.
I'm gonna be honest with you.

Speaker 10 (27:42):
And that's fine.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Well, okay, we have spirals usual shows.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
If you have the keyword that I had mentioned earlier
in the show, why don't you start dialing for the
TSO tickets five went three seven nine one seven one.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
Good luck you're.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Waking up with fifth in the morning on kiss one
O seven.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
I love that song. I knew every word to it, Bobby,
Do you know the words of that song?

Speaker 3 (28:04):
Do you know that song?

Speaker 8 (28:04):
No?

Speaker 10 (28:05):
I do now?

Speaker 4 (28:05):
Culck cool.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
All right, I am hoping that you have a keyword
for me.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
Good morning, I do it's journal.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
Congratulations, you got the keyword. You are going to Trans
Siberian Orchestra this November.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Awesome, Thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
You're welcome.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
What's your name?

Speaker 4 (28:20):
What neighbor are you waking up with me?

Speaker 8 (28:21):
I'm Amanda and I'm and raw Amanda.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
Thank you for listening to Tiff in the morning. Always.

Speaker 9 (28:28):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
I appreciate that we were just chit chatting about how
soon is too soon? Or what's your stance on buying
a gift for someone that you're dating, or do you thinking?

Speaker 9 (28:38):
I think you have to take each relationship and look
at it a little bit differently, so it just depends
on that person in your relationship.

Speaker 10 (28:47):
Totally.

Speaker 4 (28:47):
That was profound.

Speaker 13 (28:50):
Yes, that I should rate that in my leatherbound journal
inscribed with my name.

Speaker 10 (28:55):
Okay, I'm done.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
After four dates on a day like today, on a
day on a day like today, Okay, well I love
that coming up? Where am I at?

Speaker 4 (29:08):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (29:08):
Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets if you took an l we'll
do it for tomorrow. The Friday Show and John Jones
also got you this afternoon, if you want to set
a reminder to ride home with him. Coming up two
songs from now, we're going to get into the three
things you need to know to get your day started
in Cincy. I loved this message from Serena Carpenter, and
I also loved this message from coach Zach Taylor on

(29:30):
what he expects of fans at the home opener on Sunday.
Have you seen this clip? If not, I'll have that
for you next.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
Good morning. What's the expectations of fans at the Bengals
home opener on Sunday? According to Zach Taylor, You're gonna
love this. Give me hot second. We're just before nine
o'clock on nine to eleven, twenty twenty five.

Speaker 4 (29:58):
You know, today's a tough.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
One in the news, and I want to remind you
that you've always got a friend in me here. Okay,
if I could be a mini service to you, you
let me know. Right now, temperatures are sitting at sixty
degrees eighty two for a high with sunshine.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
I'll almost certainly take it all.

Speaker 8 (30:12):
Right.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
Let's start off with cozt listen to this. I think
you're gonna love it.

Speaker 5 (30:16):
Yeah, here's exactly what I'm looking for. I know how
load we're going to be, and so let's do it early.
Let's show them right out the gate. I think when
Sam Hubbard is up there as the ruler of the Jungle,
every seat is packed, and I'd love to look up
just for I'm just asking for one game, a ten
minute sacrifice from the parking lot, and so that might
just mean getting up ten minutes earlier and getting to

(30:37):
the stadium ten minutes earlier than you normally would, and
so do whatever you want of those extra ten and
then that extra ten getting in the stadium. And so
when Sam's the ruler, I'm kind of looking up at
that escalator that's to my right, and it's it's like,
you know, and maybe people just appease me and saying
at the bottom. So I can't see as he's up there,
but I would love to hear that just week one.

(30:58):
The rest of them you can and tell get a
little extra longer. But I think for this first one
to be awesome, just to send the message to the team,
we got to do our best to start to we
know exactly.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
I thought that was silly. You know, He's a hey,
wrap up the bud lights, get your butt inside, and
let's go hard. And I appreciate that. You know me.
You got to you gotta pay attention. You got to
pay attention to the timing. Oh, of course, it kicks
off at one o'clock. You're familiar with that. John John's
Jungle Zone is my favorite place to hang out before,
u before, during, and after any Bengals game. So if

(31:30):
you're more of a Banks person, definitely pop over. We'll
both be there right outside the Filson and the city
is supposed to host a press conference later on this
afternoon to address maybe any concerns as far as like,
you know, safety and things of that nature. So if
there's stuff of value of that today, we'll circle back
on it tomorrow. Second in three Things you Need to

(31:50):
Know this morning, Sabrina Carpenter is celebrating a milestone with
her newest album, Man's Best Friend. It's projected to become
her second excuse me, number one alborn on the Billboard
two hundred Albums chart. Of course, the first one was
short and sweet, Man's best Friend. She said, you guys
have made man's best friend, my second number one album

(32:11):
and my highest debut ever. That is very surreal. I
feel so lucky to have such beautiful love and support
all around me. Making this album with Jack Antonoff, Amy
and John was one of the most pure, wholesome electric
times in my life. And to see the way you
are all resonating with it just makes me feel like
the luckiest girl in the world. Thank you for listening

(32:31):
top to bottom, and thank you for bringing this album
into your lives and having such a damn good time
with it. Because I'm having fun too. I love you,
I love you, I love you, Jack handing Off Man,
I would love to see the inside of that man's
bank account.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
So congratulations to her.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
The rumor is swirling that she might headline Coachella next year.
I'll keep you posted if I hear anything on that.
Speaking of concerts, just quick quick River Roots here in
Cincinnati announced that they have canceled their major headliners Wheezer,
mountjoy Mare, and Morris and are going to go with
a little bit more of a local feel. And they had,

(33:07):
you know, attribute it to I think it was a
ticket sales thing. You know, it's a newer event, so
all right. And then lastly, in three things you need
to know, this more meing who will be the ring
bearer at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's wedding.

Speaker 4 (33:21):
I think you'll appreciate this.

Speaker 10 (33:23):
I'm sure our invites will arrive any day.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
Are they invited to the wedding? Of course they are
Marty's the ring bear. Oh my gosh, so sweet. Murders
Only in the Building is out with its newest season.
Selena has been popping up in the press. She was
on Amy Poehler's podcast. They obviously were on Jimmy Fallon.
She was did a magazine interview with the Lore. So

(33:47):
all right, that is three things you need to know
to get your day started here in Cincy. I understand
that there's still a lot of digesting and processing of
the news. And if I could be of any levity,
if I could be of any support, I just remember
that you have a friend in me. You can always
search kiss on the iHeartRadio app. And if you feel
like you want to talk back with Tiff, microphone is
in the top right hand corner. One of my biggest

(34:09):
qualities that I have with my friends is that I'm
usually always an ear to listen.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
So I'm happy to do that for you as well.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
Kay.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
In the meantime, good morning.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
You're waking up with Fifth in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Kiss, good morning, and welcome back to Tip's Community Corner.
It's where I introduce you to the people, to places,
and the unique things that make up our Cincinnati neighborhoods
Keisha Saunders Waldron, welcome back to the show. Thank you
for having me.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
I mean you're a Tiff in the Morning resident at
this point. Welcome back. Absolutely, I always love being here.

Speaker 3 (34:38):
She's the CEO and founder of Confidential Confessions and the
Mental Health sneaker Ball, which is happening in Liberty two
days from now this Saturday, Westchester, Liberty Mason, the entire
collective of the entire community coming together, want to celebrate
Liberty's ten year anniversary. Right yeah, and then the sneaker

(35:01):
Ball that's happening on Saturday night. Tell me a little
bit about the event. I mean, every woman knows a
nice pair of sneakers and address is the way to
go these days.

Speaker 14 (35:11):
Absolutely, Still, the event really is giving voice to the voiceless.
We know that suicide is the second leading cause from
ten to fourteen year olds and I think the twenty
to thirty four and so what we're doing at this
event is lacing up our sneakers, saying that we as

(35:34):
the community collectively are in in the stigma of mental
health and suicide, and saying that you can feel safe,
soft and scene with us at this event.

Speaker 4 (35:44):
Keisha, I really like that safe, soft and scene.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
That is very beautiful. You've said some really powerful things
to like giving a voice to the voiceless.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
I really like that. I didn't realize that.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
I mean, of course, mental health is is a thread
that runs amongst everyone's inner circle, right, but the suicide
rates here in Ohio and Cincinnati.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
Talk about that a little bit.

Speaker 14 (36:11):
Yeah, So here in Ohio and some of just the
demographics that we looked at is was the age was
forty five to fifty four had the highest rate of
suicide death and then the largest decrease in suicide rates
among the youth age ten to twenty four, and the
largest increase was among the age of fifty five and
sixty four, just here in Ohio. And as long as

(36:34):
you have life happening to you, mental health happens. Mental
health is a priority, it's not a stigma. So we
want to be able to say, hey, we as the
community see you, We as the community need to get connected.
We thrive as people off of connection, and we're really
hoping for that connection to reduce those thoughts of isolation

(36:57):
and filling alone.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
Seen Soft and Safe this weekend at the Sneaker Ball
two days from now, this Saturday. If you're looking to help,
looking for an event, looking for something to do, looking
for a cause to donate to, where did they go?

Speaker 8 (37:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (37:12):
So, if you're looking to donate, go to Better World
Confidential Confessions Counseling at Better World or go to our
Facebook page Confidential Confessions Counseling and you can buy tickets,
donate whatever you can do to help, because your voice matters.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
They're voice matters, We matter. Confidential Confessions on Facebook. That's
you're gonna get your ticket. I have to ask what
shoes are you going to wear? Can you tell me?

Speaker 8 (37:34):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (37:35):
Okay, sneakers.

Speaker 14 (37:36):
I am wearing the Aqua eighth and I got my
dress made so it mimics one of Rihanna's I'm super
excit pregnant Rihanna, Not.

Speaker 3 (37:45):
That I'm calling you pregnant, but like or are we talking.

Speaker 4 (37:48):
Like sos Era soos Era.

Speaker 3 (37:50):
Ok.

Speaker 4 (37:50):
Definitely for sure. What color are your aquas?

Speaker 3 (37:53):
Of course they're aqua in purple and black. Yeah, you
went with the black ones.

Speaker 4 (37:59):
Oh where did you get those?

Speaker 11 (38:01):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (38:01):
Function Booty Okay, and they will be there as well. Absolutely.

Speaker 14 (38:05):
They are the sponsors for our sneakers and so they
will be debuting on sneakers that are not being released
into November.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
Oh we get an exclusive look well, Keisha, thank you
so much for joining TIF in the Morning. Again. That
was Confidential Confessions on Facebook.

Speaker 4 (38:18):
If you'd like to go.

Speaker 3 (38:19):
To the Sneaker Ball happening in Liberty this Saturday, I'd
love to have you. And thanks for coming on Tip's
community corner.

Speaker 4 (38:24):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
You're waking up with Fifth in the Morning. Kiss on
us one.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
Is there someone in your office that eats the food?
What is it about office culture that is just.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
A jungle?

Speaker 3 (38:38):
I don't know what's the word I'm gonna get for.
Not a war zone, not a jungle.

Speaker 4 (38:42):
It's like it's like the wild West.

Speaker 3 (38:44):
You're walking into the daily debrief right around this time,
I choose one of the bigger topics of conversation that
we had earlier in the show, and then we revisit it,
giving a chance to get caught up. We revisit maybe
some of the talkbacks we didn't get to. And at
this moment, and Sarah Alis, a good friend at the
show she's on with the Kid Chris Morning Show, sent
an email out to our entire office, like sixty seven

(39:04):
people worth about something that was stolen from her studio,
a very important food item for her. So I said,
now I think there have got to be some other thieves.
Why is it that the office brings out the worst
in people, especially when it comes to stealing food?

Speaker 12 (39:26):
Hey, Chiff, Yeah.

Speaker 14 (39:28):
It's funny to talk about this because last week.

Speaker 11 (39:30):
Someone I had ate in lunch has it put it
in a refrigerator for the following day.

Speaker 3 (39:35):
I came back and it was gone.

Speaker 11 (39:37):
So someone ate much can't eating lunch.

Speaker 14 (39:40):
It is disgusting out.

Speaker 13 (39:41):
Oh did I put a note on the refrigerator that
says we do not touch other people's fists?

Speaker 1 (39:46):
Yep?

Speaker 9 (39:47):
And then.

Speaker 3 (39:49):
The passive aggressive notes in the kitchen are another conversation
for a different day.

Speaker 4 (39:55):
But it's usually food related.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
You'll have to hear some of these silly things people
have stolen from other people here in Cincinnati, at their
offices and get caught up on, you know, on what
was taken from ours when you listen to the podcast.
You can do so wherever you are, whenever you are,
if you have some free time, We'd love to have
you be a part of the show every day. Search
TIF in the morning on the free iHeartRadio app at
your convenience. And I hope you're off to a good

(40:19):
start here on this beautiful Thursday morning and Cincinnati.

Speaker 6 (40:28):
You're waking up with Tip in the morning, Gone kiss one.

Speaker 4 (40:31):
Seven one, All right, how are we doing?

Speaker 3 (40:33):
Good morning?

Speaker 4 (40:34):
It was certainly an interesting day in the news cycle.

Speaker 3 (40:38):
And one thing I've noticed about days like today is
that it usually prompts some sort of conversation amongst maybe
a coworker, if you're close to somebody in the office,
you know, your group, text, maybe a family member, I
don't know, maybe even me. If I could be of
any service to you, you let me know. I'm always
an ear to listen. I'm always here. My sister and

(40:59):
I were voice snoding back and forth this morning at
like five o'clock. She's the smartest person I know. She's
emotionally intelligent, but she's also a school teacher and shout out.
She shout out to our school teachers here in the
tri stay. So I'm grateful for her this morning, and
usually days like today, I like to practice gratitude. So
if there is something that you can bring to the
top of your mind right now to practice some gratitude,

(41:22):
let's do it together. Just give me maybe two seconds.
We'll take a deep breath.

Speaker 4 (41:28):
We'll leave it there.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
All right, it's going on. It is Thursday. We've got
one two more sleeps until we wake up, and our
bangles are at home.

Speaker 4 (41:35):
It's gonna feel like summer.

Speaker 3 (41:36):
Eighty degrees. Fall activities are happening. We're a week away
from Zinzinnati, so yeah, yeah, the weather's gorgeous. If you
and I aren't connected on social I don't have anything
up in my stories right now, but I hope to
get something up there. I went to the zoo in
the middle of the day yesterday. You know what I
should have led with that, going to the This is

(41:59):
your sign if you need a break, cancel your meetings,
go spend an hour sitting with the elephants in the
middle of a Thursday in this sun. Because that's what
I did yesterday and I loved it, so I'll put
those videos up. How about that at the TIF two
f's Potter Like the Wizard.

Speaker 4 (42:15):
I hope to bring you a little bit of joy.

Speaker 3 (42:16):
Coming back tomorrow for our Friday show, we'll have more
Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets for you. In fact, John John
will get you this afternoon at four thirty if you
want an extra chance to win. I hope you have
a wonderful day.
