Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time. Kiss
good morning. Let me tell you I'm feeling rested. Give
me a hot second rested. And you want to know
why I'm feeling fully rested because I slept an hour
and forty two minutes later than I was supposed to.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Yo.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
I slept past my alarm so intensely that I had
to look at the clock for a good minute and
convince myself that that was the correct time, and that
is the time I should pretty much be on my
way to work. And instead of having a mad dash
of panic, I just simply got up, got dressed. Luckily,

(00:48):
I had laid all my clothes out last night, which
I don't always do, did my morning skincare routine, quickly
put my hair in a clock clip, and made my
way into the office. And we're okay, Hey, things are moving,
things are running on time. I don't know how three
things you need to know is gonna start because I
haven't run an ounce of news yet this morning, but

(01:11):
an hour and forty minutes late, I didn't even hear
my alarm. I didn't even hear it. And you know what,
the iPhone the alarm was going off for so long
that it stopped going off, that I looked down and
it just it wasn't even going off anymore. I can't,
I don't. I don't know how that happened.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I don't even I wouldn't even consider myself a solid
or a light sleeper. I'm kind of just like right
in between there and man, I'm feeling rested, little panicked,
but mostly rested. Slept so far through that alarm. So
I hope you're off to a good start. I hope
you got some good sleep. If not, I wish I
could just give you some of mine, because damn, your

(01:55):
girl must have been in La la land last night,
and I went to bed right on time, so I
had a full almost eight hours of sleep. Like what,
all right? It could have been the temperature, you know,
it's like nice and cool and put that blanket on. Yeah,
I don't know what's coming. In three things you need

(02:16):
to know this morning at six fifty. I promise from
now until then I will have some legitimate news you
need to start your day off here, But as of
right now, I don't know what's coming. We do it
every day at six fifty. If you want to stick
around for the surprise search Kiss one O seven one
on the iHeartRadio app. I hope you're off to a
good start when you need to know She's got you.

(02:37):
It's three Things with TIF and good morning, Good morning.
It is forty nine degrees outside. Eventually we'll see haws
AT's seventy nine mostly sunny before summer like weather returns
for the weekend. Let's start off with Governor Mike Dwain
is set to come down to Cincinnati and host a
press conference later on this afternoon to a dress some

(03:00):
of the violence that's been happening here, trying to be
a little bit more collaborative between city and state. That
press conference will be covered by our sister station seven
hundred WLW this afternoon, and if not, I will have
the full breakdown for you tomorrow morning. The second and
three things you need to know, Let's talk about our
Cincinnati Reds. You know, unfortunately losing in extra innings last night,

(03:24):
they kind of needed the land. We're four games out
from making it into the wild Card with seventeen games left,
but other teams at this point have kind of caught
up to us. So is Hope still alive always and forever,
especially if you're a Cincinnati sports fan. But as of
right now, the Reds did lose in extra innings last night.

(03:48):
Let me pull up their next game. I believe they're
headed off to the West coast. Yeah, they're still in
their West coast. They play it tonight at nine against
the Padres. And then lastly and three things you need
to know this morning, we got new music Friday. Just
a little bit early this week, Drake dropped a new
song off of what we believe is the Iceman project

(04:08):
that he's putting out. This is called Doghouse.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Shout out as a crash out to some mini piels.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
He a crash out.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
She didn't hit in his in a glasshop. I like
what I saw, so I cashed out.

Speaker 6 (04:24):
You mad?

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Do you know? I think fans were convinced that Iceman
was gonna come out. The album was going to come
out weeks and weeks ago, but he's just been kind
of leaking singles here and here, here and there. This
one features an artist called Yeat, which is new to me,
and good chance it could be new to he could
be new to you. He's kind of considered the next up,
the next up and comer, kind of like a Juice World,

(04:46):
So he's on that song. You might see yeat on
a lot of Iceman and then Julia Wolf. She's beautiful.
You can see her on his Instagram right now if
you want to check it out. All right, that is
three things you need to know for nine five up
at seven oh five, we are commercial free and the
best way to keep listening to Tiff in the Morning
is by searching Kiss one oh seven one on the

(05:07):
iHeartRadio app. I'd love to have you talk back with Tiff.
Be the first to join the show today. I slept
through my alarm this morning, so I don't know what
we're going to talk about coming up at seven twenty.
Maybe you have something you want to get off your chest.
Let's see if you can drive the ship today use
the microphone and that's operaight hand corner. Hi, good morning.
You're waking up with it' Tiff in the Morning on

(05:29):
Kiss one o seven one. It's still dark outside, right
I think, so, yeah, still a little bit on the
dark side. If that giant twelve foot skeleton in your
neighbor's yard scared the daylights out of you this morning,
just know you know we are entering that season. In fact,
spookify your house with our friends from Dent Schoolhouse. They said,
this is what we're gonna do. We're gonna give you

(05:49):
some money to give to your listeners, and we're gonna
help spookify someone's house in the Tri State. Now, of
course you've been to Dent before, so maybe that's your style,
or maybe you're more of like a Harry Potter gown
like myself. Thanks to Dent Schoolhouse, you can spookify yours
if you go to our website at Kisscincinnati dot com.
I figured maybe that'd be something you'd be interested in. Okay,

(06:12):
all right, three minutes from now, have you ever slept
so deeply through your alarm that you feel like you're
in a different universe or a different world. Well, come on,
I'm gonna show you mine because I slept. You wouldn't
believe how long I slept through my alarm this morning.
We'll talk about that. In three minutes. You're waking up
with fifth in the morning Kiss on U seven one

(06:32):
in good Morning.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
I could get a gold medal with sleeping because I
can do it anytime.

Speaker 7 (06:38):
Any place, anywhere.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
I don't have a problem with it.

Speaker 7 (06:41):
I'd be good at it.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Girl. Imagine if sleeping was in Olympic sport. Thank you
for the talk back with Tiff. The microphone is in
the top right hand corner. So the reason why we're
talking about sleeping this morning is I slept one hour
and forty one minutes past my alarm this morning. And
when I woke up, naturally, I looked at the clock

(07:05):
and I had to convince myself that I was still
in Mount Adam, Cincinnati, in my bed, and that it
was five point forty one, and that my show started
about twenty five minutes from that point, and I live
a solid twelve to fifteen from the station, depending on
the lights in the neighborhood, and such an hour and

(07:30):
forty one minutes past my alarm and I didn't even stir.
I didn't hear it. I don't have any memory or
recollection of kind of hearing it. Even I just I'm like, what,
I guess I needed this. I mean, I'm well rested,
but every day my alarm goes off at four AM,

(07:51):
and that's the time I used to, you know, start
my morning and have my morning routine in my house,
and then I use it to prep for the show,
write the news, write three things you need to know,
figure out what we're talking about. Get organized. I didn't.
I didn't do any of that. I had to kind
of do it all on the fly this morning. I surprisingly, though,
although sleeping that far past my alarm, I made it

(08:14):
to work like based pretty much on time, maybe a
minute or two late than what I normally get here.
But it set it feel they're sleeping that deeply and
then waking up. It almost feel you have to convince
it was. It's a weird, bizarre It's such a vulnerable feeling.

(08:35):
I mean, the two most vulnerable feelings in the world
I think are like being in love with someone and
then sleeping past your alarm. Do you have a story.
Do you have a story where you slept so hard
past your alarm but you still made it to something
really important? Ooh, I'd be curious. Mine was the job,
but what was yours? Was it like a flight? Was
it an event of some sort? Tell me, tell me,

(08:57):
tell me talk back with Tiff. The microphone is in
the top right hank of the iHeartRadio app. Or I'd
be curious to just even hear your voice this morning,
five when three seven, four nine one oh seven one.
Chit chat with me on sleeping through your alarm was
not a good morning. You're waking up a tip in
the morning on Kiss one oh seven one. Have you
ever heard of sleep inertia? Okay, we're down a rabbit

(09:18):
hole on the show this morning. Thanks for stopping by.
We're chit chatting about sleep because I slept so deeply
past my alarm today, like by an almost two hours.
I was just shy of two hours of sleeping past
my alarm in a totally different universe. I didn't even
hear it going off.

Speaker 8 (09:38):
It is getting harder to fall asleep and stay asleep.
If I've gotten older, I think I've developed in saw
me or something. But as a teenager, I could just
sleep through the day.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Well, duh. I googled it. It said sleeping past your alarm
can mean you aren't getting enough quality sleep, your sleep
schedule is inconsistent, your body is naturally be sleeping, or
you may have an underlying sleep disorder like sleep apneo
or sarcadium rhy rhythm disorder. It could also be caused
by sleep inertia, which is grogginess after waking. But I

(10:11):
don't remember waking up at all. Thank you for the
talkback with TIV. By the way, the microphone is in
the top right hand corner. When you hold that down,
you have thirty seconds to tell me, you know what.

Speaker 7 (10:21):
Sleeping when I get tired and not procrastinating sleep my
sleep habits has literally made my energy levels and just
my mood all around better.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
All right, thank you, you know what you are right.
I do feel extremely well rested and alert this morning.
I just did not get up on time two hours late.
Luckily I made it to the show. If you were
wondering if I was late to work, I was not.
I just had like forty five seconds to get dressed
and brush my I don't even know if I brush
my teeth. I maybe not. In the meantime, we're still

(10:52):
commercial free. I hope you're off to a good start.
About an hour from now, around eight thirty, I have
your chance to win Trans Siberian Orchestra to it gets
before you can even buy them. You're waking up with
fifth in the morning. Kiss let us good morning. When
you need a little confidence boost, what do you do
for yourself? How do you boost your confidence? Do you

(11:15):
even know how to boost your own confidence. Girl, We're
going down a deep rabbit hole this morning, all sorts
of things. Well, why you think on that for a second.
I came across this list the key things that you
can do to boost your confidence, coming in at number one.
You know my ADHD. I can't wait for a whole list.

(11:36):
Number one. They say, complete a DIY project and the
effects could last for six weeks. Girl, I'm not. I'm
not the one. I can't do a DIY project. The
one that I tried actually wasn't that long ago. I

(11:56):
said I'm gonna create a living plant wall in my
room in my house, in my apartment because I'm obsessed
with plants. And I'm sure you can imagine what that
was like. Where are the plants now? In the garbage?
There is nothing quite like wandering through a home depot,
trying to explain your DIY project vision to a home

(12:20):
depot employee and them just looking at you and knowing
that you try. You're trying this simply because you found
it on TikTok. They're like, you found this on TikTok,
didn't you? Yeah. Eighty six percent of people said that
completing a home related DIY task made them feel accomplished
and that feeling stuck around for six weeks afterwards. The

(12:42):
average person has finished eight DIY projects do it yourself,
and they're current home with homeowners doing twice as many
as renters. Yeah, I'm not diying anything in my apartment
right now. I will tell you the household thing DIY
This it's just not like putting together ikey of furniture. No,
I'd rather sleep on the floor. Confidence is an interesting

(13:08):
thing because I think it's different depending on who you are.
But I hope that you have the tools on how
to boost your own confidence. Is that something you want
me to put together for you? If not, I can
give you some tips. My coach high school field hockey
shout out to Ursuline Academy and the number one thing
that I always tell students and the parents before we
get into it every year, I said, our baseline is

(13:30):
building confidence and then we play on top of that.
I think confidence is such a You get confidence, by
the way, from trying something new, right, That's like that's
they kind of go hand in hand. You have to
put yourself out there to get more confident in it.
It's really hard, but then that's the reward. All right,
we're commercial free. Then we're going to do three things.
Can you stick with me when you need to know

(13:54):
she's got you? It's three things with stiff all right.
Another chain in Cinderella is closing. Actually it closed with
zero warning at least for me. Give me a hot
sec We're just before eight o'clock on nine, nine twenty five.
Coming up at eight point thirty. I have your chance

(14:15):
to win Trans Siberian Orchestra diickets before they even go
on sale. We're thinking holiday, We're thinking Carol of the Bells. Okay,
I gotta focus. So Tayso, Belgium's closing. You heard this?
Why is it?

Speaker 6 (14:31):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Okay, okay, here we go three two one, So Taysa,
Belgium is closing, they had posted on social media. After
fourteen incredible years, our over the Ryan Bistro has closed
its door. OTR was our very first full service restaurant,
the place where Taste of Belgium grew from an idea
into a Cincinnati tradition. For more than a decade, we

(14:52):
served breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner here, sharing countless waffles,
beers and memories with our guests. We are so grateful
to every guest, neighbor, and team member who made it
a special part of our journey or I'm sorry whom. Yeah,
the reality is that downtown has changed. With fewer office

(15:12):
workers ge gone at the banks, more people working from home,
and overall lower traffic, we can no longer sustain both
OTR in the banks. The Banks has stronger long term potential.
So while this was not an easy decision, it is
the one that allows us to keep moving forward. We
hope you'll continue to join us at the Banks, Rookwood

(15:34):
and Finlay Market for the same Belgian inspire food and
hospitality you've always loved. Thank you Cincinnati for fourteen unforgettable
years in OTR. But when is the last time you
walked into a taste of Belgium? Right, That's the thing
I'm always like, Oh, I'm so sad that that restaurant

(15:56):
or that establishment, that Hooters, that one floating down the
Ohio is gone. Yeah, I never went, I was never going.
I'm a part of the problem. The bank's location, though,
has to do somewhat okay, right because of Bengals games
and events, et cetera, et cetera. But yeah, kind of
you know the end of an era. My best friend

(16:17):
always goes there for Mother's Day, Sara, at least at
the same thing. She's like, we would always go for
Mother's Day. So I'm sending love and good vibes to
the Taste of Belgium team. I'm sure it was not
an easy decision and they still have. Like you heard them,
there three locations, the Finlay Stall and then Banks in Rooklyn.
All right. Second, in three Things you need to Know

(16:39):
this morning, speaking of downtown, et cetera, Governor Mike DeWine
is going to hit up Cinderella the today and they're
gonna have a meeting where a city and state kind
of come together to see if they can address some
of the violence concerns that we have in you know,
various areas across the tri State. And that press conference
will be held on our sister station seven hundred a WLW.

(17:02):
And then of course I'll have the full debrief for
you timor real all right. Then, lastly, in three Things
you need to Know this morning, we have a brand
new song from Drake. This is titled Doghouse, off of
his new Iceman project. I'll play a clip and then
we'll chat.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
Shout out a crash out to so many piels, be
a crash out, she ain't in his and a glasshop.
I like what I saw and so I cashed out
your man.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
If you want to hear the full thing, go ahead
and search it. It's featuring Yeat and Julia Wolf. Now
you can get a visual on Julia Wolf on his
instagram if you want to take a peek. She's the
first post there. Yeat is someone that I'm newly becoming
familiar with. I believe, you know, new to us, maybe
not new to you, but he's gonna be on a
lot of Iceman project. I think he's kind of like

(17:54):
the next up guy, and so I think Drake is
trying to play it smart, you know, get in on
that one. All right. That is three things out speaking
of new music Friday. I know it's a little early
in the week for but I'll have a new one
from Ed Sheeran at the end of this week. All right.
That is the three things you need to know for
the ninth of September, coming up around to eight o five,
we're commercial free and I'm either going to talk about

(18:16):
that giant like twelve foot skeleton in your front yard
and we'll do some maybe DIY conversation or I'm gonna
talk about Unknown Number on Netflix, something I haven't seen,
but it is everywhere. So it really depends on what
you want to talk about this morning. You can drive
the ship. Either shoot me a DM or talk back

(18:37):
with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app. The microphone is in
the top right hand corner. Are you a DIY person?
Do you have a twelve foot skeleton in your front yard?
Have you watched Unknown Number? These are the things that
Cincinnatians are talking about. We need to know. You need
to lead the conversation. Be a part of Tiff in
the Morning every day for free at your convenience. I'd
love to have.

Speaker 9 (18:55):
Yeah, you're waking up with Fifth in the morning.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
Huh kiss, good morning, Good morning. What is Cincinnati talking
about this morning? There's no one clear cut thing, so
we're gonna kind of run the gambit on topics based
off of the talkbacks with TIF that I've gotten in
the first maybe hour and a half of the show.

(19:20):
This morning. There's a lot happening, so we're gonna kind
of have like an ADHD's dream where we go from
one place to another, and I hope you were willing
to stick on the journey with us. A keyword is Cincinnati.
By the way, I made that for the Transhibi Orchestra tickets.
We'll get to those in about ten or so minutes,
right around eight thirty ish. They're coming early November. You'll

(19:41):
need the keyword Cincinnati. So let's start off with our
first talkback based off of this show on Netflix called
Unknown Number. All right, So, on topic of this catfish documentary,
I think that the daughter sent the first few text messages. Okay,
I want to be thank you for leaving me that

(20:01):
note because I haven't seen it and I don't know
if I will, but I don't want to provide any
spoiler alerts. Shout out to Courtney Dallas. She DM me too,
and she said, I really want to talk about unknow numbers.
So go ahead and feel free to lead the conversation
about this wild documentary. What I'm hearing based off of
the trail, I don't have a Netflix log and it's
about an hour and a half long, and it's about

(20:23):
a high school catfishing story. Maybe you two have a
catfishing story that you want to share. Feel free to
join into the show using that same feature, you can
DM me, you can call me. So that's one thing
that we got this morning. What else is Cincinnati talking about?

Speaker 9 (20:39):
Hey, Tiff, good morning, the cold beer guy. We just
got approved for a house and start a house hunting
and it is crazy out here. The prices are wild.
Are you still looking for a house?

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff. Congrats I'm
being preapproved. I'm sending you good vibes and good juju.
I kind of paused in my house hunting journey at
the beginning of this year, and I haven't quite resumed
it yet. I was I had seen maybe like thirty
houses and nothing felt right in this world, so I
put a pause on that one. But I'm sending you

(21:11):
good vibes. You'll have to keep me updated on the
hunting process. What else do we got this morning?

Speaker 6 (21:16):
All right, don't make fun of me. If I slept
to my alarm on my wedding day, I slept through
it for like.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
Two hours.

Speaker 6 (21:25):
Maybe I think it was less than that, but I
woke up to my maid of Honor rushing into my
room telling me that I have an hour to be
walking down the aisle.

Speaker 10 (21:42):
Girl, you you nearly slept through your wedding to the
point where your maid of honor had to come and
get you.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
Where were the champagne and bagels at the crack of
dawn while everyone was getting their hair done. The reason
why that talked back was even sent our way. Maybe
you're just walking into the show for the first time.
I slept two hours past my alarm this morning. I
made it to work on time, but I didn't really
have time for anything other than getting dressed and running
a toothbrush over my mouth. So we were chit chatting

(22:14):
about things that you've been late for. These are good.
We're doing kind of like a I don't know, like
a little bit of a like like a random talk
back with Tiff segment this morning. What are the things
that Cincinnatians are talking about? Because we've gotten so many
random once so we're hitting them all unknown number house
hunting reasons that you were late and you slept through

(22:35):
your alarm. What else do we have?

Speaker 3 (22:38):
Also? Have you heard about mister Fantasy on TikTok? I
have been seeing him and there's a whole thing where
people think that it's Aja Happa and he's just made
this like whole.

Speaker 5 (22:51):
Alternative identity and is making music and it is I mean,
like the music is kind of good, but it's like
very If you ever heard about Amatia, to look him
up and see what he's doing.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Okay, well, thank you for the recommendation. I'm wondering if
you sent that because we talked about that new Drake song.
We played it in Three Things You Need to Know
and it's got Yat on it and he's an up
and coming rapper. I'll have to look that up. It's
interesting how people's TikTok and social media algorithms send you
stuff that I have never even heard of in my life,

(23:25):
but yet that might be your entire FYP. We should
just call this segment your FYP, your personal Cincinnati FYP.
What are the things that you're talking about this morning?
We're kind of brain dumping on the show because we've
gotten so many various things. So feel predy contribute. By
the way, Cincinnati is the keyword that you are going
to need to win the Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets coming

(23:48):
up here in a few minutes, so go far. Good morning,
you're waking up. It's sim for the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one. You're just a few minutes out
from your chance to win Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets if
you had the keyword that I just mention they're coming
early November. We're kind of doing a brain dump tiff
in the morning day. We've gotten a lot of random
talkbacks today, so we're gonna lead off with that.

Speaker 11 (24:12):
I think the best way to boost a confidence level
is to apply a little bit of makeup, do.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Your hair, put on a great outfit, and then do.

Speaker 11 (24:22):
The best Tyra Banks Nyama Campbell catwalk and.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Pose in front of a mirror. You feel amazing, girl.
Thank you for the insight on that one and for
the talk back with TIF. You can be a part
of my show using our voice note feature on the app.
The microphone is in the top corner on the right
hand side there next to the play button. We were
talking in our last hour about the confidence boosters. There
was a list that came out and if you didn't

(24:48):
hear it, the number one boost of confidence according to
this list, is by completing a DIY project and the
effects of that confidence boost last for three weeks or
six weeks. And I'm just not the one. I'm not
a di wire. I can't do it.

Speaker 3 (25:06):
Don't even get me started on a di wire.

Speaker 12 (25:10):
I got married a year ago almost and people kept
telling me to diy stuff and I was like, no,
I am gonna pay somebody to diy that, because girl,
I'm gonna mess it up and it's gonna look ugly
and I am not patient enough for that.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
So props to all of you di wires out there,
because I just can't. But good job.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
I appreciate you. I love the topic of confidence. If
you don't know how to boost your own confidence, shoot
me a DM. I'd love to give you maybe a
little list of things that work for me. All right,
your chance to win TSO tickets coming up in three minutes.
You're waking up with Siff in the morning on kiss
one O seven one. Good morning. I am hoping you
have a keyword for me. Oh it's cinnaty. Congratulations your

(25:52):
collar ten. You're going to Trans Siberian Orchestra. That's so exciting.
I love. I mean, can you imagine in early November.
It's so good. It's just it's going to be such
a good weekend. Or and it's on a Saturday too,
I believe perfect. Yeah, congratulations to my gal. I appreciate

(26:16):
you waking up with Tiff in the morning every day,
every day. Yeah, ma'am, I didn't get your name of
what neighborhood you're calling me from? Uh, Stacy and from
near Richmond? All right, Stacy, I should probably know who
you are if you listen every day, I appreciate that
more than you know.

Speaker 8 (26:30):
Oh well, I love your show.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
I listened to it on the way to take my
girls to school, and yep, it's a good time. Okay,
look at that. I'm put you put a smile on
my face, Stacy, and I meant to put one on yours.
If you can trade me out, oh for sorry if
you took an L on the TSO tickets. Not only
do I have you tomorrow at eight thirty. If you
want to set a reminder to get up with Tiff
in the morning, John John has got you this afternoon

(26:54):
at four thirty. Okay, three minutes from now. Three things
you need to know. Another Cincinnati staple is closing. It's doers.
I'll have that for you.

Speaker 11 (27:03):
Just one.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
It's time for Tuesday tips on Tip in the morning.
Good Morning. Abby is our resident expert of all things
Cincinnati and the tri State. She does the research so
we don't have to. She comes on and gives three
big things that you can get involved with for the week.
Whether they're free, low cost, but they're certainly fun. What
do we have this morning?

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Hello? So today is September ninth, which you know, Joe
Burrow's number is nine. So the Joe Burrow Foundation does
dine for nine today and so there's a lot of
participating restaurants around the city where you go and eat
nine out nine percent of your bill goes back to
the Joe Burrow Foundation.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
Love that. Can you give me an example of someone
that's on the list?

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Yeah, so E and O, Morlan, lager House, Barley Corns,
there were there's like over fifty places, a lot of
the different brewery. But if you go to the Jobo
Foundation the page on social media on their Instagram, they
have all of the participating places up on their Instagram.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
Perfect thanks for sharing that, Aba.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
Gaglio red Leprechaon.

Speaker 7 (28:15):
I mean, there's a bunch of them.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
So I always love a good cause and go enjoy
a great meal and get back while.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
You're doing so.

Speaker 2 (28:23):
Also, I can't believe I feel like we have just
flown through the year. I'm so happy.

Speaker 7 (28:29):
It's fall.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
We're coming in the follow football season. Festival season is here,
and Covington october Fest kicks off this week starting on
the twelfth, and they have so many fun things planned.
They're not just doing the normal Octoberfest. They have a
bunch of ticket events that you can buy. They're going
to have a big Bengals watch party, all kinds of

(28:52):
fun stuff.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
I love this. So that Covington's Octoberfest is this weekend. Yeah, okay,
cool this weekend. Good to know. I'm seeing like billboards
pop up. I'm seeing social media ads pop up for
Octoberfest and fall Fest. It seems like every weekend in
Sinci there's going to be something to do to get
outside and enjoy it.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Yeah, they're gonna have stuff going on in Newport as
well at Hoffer House, So there's going to be stuff
happening all over the city. And I've been seeing a
ton of Octoberfest stuff and then our big Cincinnati Octoberfest
flights on like the twenty first.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Cool.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
But also this weekend, this is a brand new festival,
so any music lovers out there on the eleventh and twelfth,
It's called otr Fest and they have different bands coming
in that's going to be playing at Woodwork Theaters and
Motor across the street, and so I know tickets are
very reasonable and if you're into all of the music

(29:45):
different bands, I think this is going to be a
really fun time.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
Abby does all the research that we don't have to
everything since he's her handle, you can also sign up
for the Everything Since the membership, which is a really
cool way to get exclusive deals on certain things in
our city here.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
Yeah, I'm really excited about that. We're going to be
doing a ton with it, and there's already so many
fun deals up there, so go and check it out
Everything sincey dot Com.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Appreciate you, my girl, Thank you so much. Coming up
around nine thirty and the Daily Debrief, what's the number
one thing you can do to boost your confidence? And
will you or would you do this one thing? We'll
get to that next Good Morning. You're waking up with
fifth in the morning, kiss good morning. So the key
to boosting confidence, according to this thing I read, is

(30:32):
doing this one thing that I refuse to do. You're
walking into the Daily Debrief around this time. Every day
I choose one of the bigger things that we talked
about on the show, we revisit it, giving you a
chance to get caught up. Maybe we go back to
some talkbacks that we can't get to in the moment.
The number one thing you can do to boost your
confidence is complete a DIY project. I'm not the one.

(30:55):
I just I'd rather walk the streets of Cincinnati with
low self esteem then do a DIY project. It's just
not in my DNA.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
Don't even get any started on a DI wire. I
got married a year.

Speaker 12 (31:08):
Ago almost, and people kept telling me to DIY stuff
and I was like, no, I am gonna pay somebody
d I Y that because same girl, I'm gonna mess
it up and it's gonna look ugly.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
And I am not patient enough for that. So props
to all of you di wires out there, because I
just can't. But good job.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Yeah, And that's the thing. There are people like you
and I that are a hard pass and then there
are those that do the DIY projects for us. And
that's what's called.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
Ets ci Y. What's that.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
Yeah, there's no I will ever try the di I
Y anything.

Speaker 7 (31:44):
I'm not crafty at all.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
So everything that I want c.

Speaker 7 (31:47):
IY is gonna come from etc.

Speaker 3 (31:49):
Or am sign YEP, and yeah, it's just you.

Speaker 7 (31:52):
Know, might cast a little bit more, but it's worth it.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
You go to any goodwill, go to Saint Vincent de Paul.
Just you would drive by through SVDP or Goodwill or
something and you go into those sections. There's a whole
section it probably it looks as if it's like a
former it's someone's wedding from years ago, and it's all
their DIY stuff. Just go to Goodwill, it's all their varreo.

(32:18):
The effects. By the way, for eighty six percent of
people who completed a home related DIY, it made them
feel accomplished and that feeling stuck around for six weeks afterwards.
Who You'll have to get caught up on the podcast
at some point. Today just starts Tiff in the Morning
on the iHeart radio app because it led to us
chit chatting a little bit more about confidence. Do you

(32:38):
have a recipe? Do you know how to boost your
own confidence? Think about that? What do you do? Is
it a physical thing? Is it, you know, like hair
and makeup or iced coffee, or is it trying something new?
Is it doing something scary? I coached high school field
hockey for Ursuline and you know, the biggest thing I

(32:59):
talk about with them when they start the season is confidence.
That's what we do. We do that and then we
play the game afterwards. And to build confidence, in my opinion,
you have to do something unknown, right, They kind of
go hand in hand. There's this big fear about trying
something new and being uncomfortable, but when you do that
thing first, then you get the confidence. So you kind

(33:20):
of have to go through the ugly, but that's the reward.
So I hope that it feels encouraging to you. And
if not, shoot me DM. I've got a list of
things that I do if you want to connect on
a little share of you and see if they work
for you. All right, I hope you're off to a
good start. It's a Tuesday, and Miss mother Nature is
just beautiful out there.
