Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with six in the morning. I kiss
one did.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Morning was yesterday?
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Not perfect outside, oh so nice. My friend Sarah was
posting pictures from Great American Ballpark.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
It looked beautiful.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
I coached field hockey for a local high school, and
I went to their lacrosse game last night. It was
so nice outside, so nice. Then I look full, you know,
looking in advance for what's coming, like today and the
rest of the week. Not great, not great. And I'm
(00:38):
superstitious about the weather, so I really wasn't gonna look
at flying Pig weekends, but I had already seen it.
And I think we're gonna be dealing with chili weather,
which for some you might like that. You might like
forties while you're running me.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
I like seventies. I like sixties. I like seventies.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
I like to be warm and hot, moods are up
and high, though spirits are high. Though weather does that,
it does. I hope you had a chance to get
outside and enjoy it. Speaking of weather and such, I
haven't gone through our talkbacks yet this morning, so be
the first person to talk back with Tiff for our
grad contest. If you didn't know this, John, John kicked
(01:19):
it off while I was on vacation. We're hooking you
up with your grad party food from hot Head Burritos,
Bevies if such of appropriate age, and then Teddy Swim's
tickets That show sold out immediately. To talk back with Tiff.
It's a good way to test it out in parents.
You can just embarrass your kids if you want. If
(01:41):
you're a high school senior or a college senior and
you happen to be up this early, you can talk
back and nominate yourself. The microphone is in the top
right hand corner of the iHeartRadio app, right next to
the play button. You just hold that down and leave
me a voice not I'm gonna check those here in
the next couple of minutes, Okay, And that's the best
way to keep listening to Tiff in the morning, by
the way, is right on that same iHeartRadio app, so
(02:02):
you don't miss anything. Happy Tuesday, when you need to
know she's got you.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
It's three things with Tip.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
We're going to talk Beyonce's Cowboy Carter tour here in
just a hot second. Good morning, We're just before seven
o'clock on.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
This twenty ninth of April.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
Just a few days left in the month, and we're
going to see some potential severe weather moving in later
on today.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Whatever we had.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
Yesterday and what we're experiencing this morning not going to
be the case for this afternoon. I'll have more on
that maybe later on the show, but keep your eyes
on it for the ride home. Also, whether for Flying
Pig weekend might be a little on the cooler side. Okay,
and before we get to Beyonce, let's start off with
Pete Rose. You know, there's been chitter chattering rumors on
whether or not he is going to be able to
(02:50):
have eligibility to get into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
As of right now, it's a no go banned from that.
I'm learning things about Pete Rose as I get more.
Aco made it here in Cincinnati. I had no idea
that the man spent time behind bars in federal prison
for tax evasion, not gambling, not reporting some of the
winnings on the gambling. But nonetheless, Pete Rose's lawyer did
(03:13):
have some FaceTime with President Donald Trump not long ago,
and it did come up about Pete Rose. I mean,
he was there for other things, but you know, Pete
Donald Trump went on to, you know, tweet about how
Pete Rose's, you know, the hit king, one of the
best of all time.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Et cetera, and should be eligible. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
We might we might have some information from Pete Rose's
lawyer in the coming weeks we as to whether or
not he is going to be eligible for the Hall
of Fame. At one point, if the eligibility restrictions are
lifted on him, it would take quite a bit of
time for him to get in.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
People would have to vote, et cetera.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
But you know, it'd be nice to celebrate the guy
that was so known and well loved here in Sincy.
By the way, Pete Rose Knight just shy of two
weeks away a great American ballpark on the fourteenth. All right, Second,
in three things you need to know this morning, the
Conclave is going to start May seventh. For those that
don't know what the conclave is, I too, am getting
(04:07):
acclimated with it. The Catholic Church cardinals will decide who
will be our next pope over a hundred or a
part of the election process. White smoke will go off
if they figured it out. Black smoke will go off
if they can't figure it out. But one of the
rules that I had noticed in my research is that
the pope has to be above sorry, cannot be above
(04:29):
eighty years old to be in the running for this,
which I honestly sounds like a no brainerd Timmeme.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
When there's more on that one, I'll have it for you.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
And then lastly, in three Things you Need to Know,
let's chit chat about a cowboy Carter. The tour officially
kicked off in La last night with thirty nine songs.
If you're going to this tour, the closest date to
us is most likely Chicago. I went on and looked
the other day because I was curious, and I saw
some tickets were available for like one hundred and forty dollars.
(04:59):
You know, I think that the big headline when you
search Beyonce's tours of this morning is that it is
not selling out. And you'll see various videos on the internet,
and some of them are conflicting. Some look as if
the stadium is completely empty. Now I can't tell if
that's just because the show hasn't quite started yet, or
if that's just people having a really hard time getting tickets.
(05:23):
As far as pricing goes, I think that that's the
common complaint about a lot of tours right now, but
specifically with Beyonce, that merches wicked expensive and tickets are
wicked expensive. Like I said, I went on and looked
the other day, the ones in Chicago weren't that bad.
I'm didn't put a lot of research and effort into it.
As far as the set list goes, this is all
(05:43):
Cowboy Carter with a few Renaissance songs sprinkled in and
a few of the bangers. But if you didn't love
this last two part album from Beyonce, I don't know
if this is going to be the tour for you.
Some highlights, some blue Ivy killing it. She definitely has
grown as a performer. When she first started out with
(06:04):
Mom during the Renaissance Act one tour, I mean it
was like a little like on the you know, she
was young, right, she was becoming a new dancer now
totally fits in.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
The other special.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Moment is that little Roomy, one of the twins came
out with her and sat down while Mom was singing
the song Protector, and she just looked so happy and
excited to be there. Anytime I see a video of Roomy,
she looks just very thrilled and happy to be outside.
Here's Beyonce closing the show so.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Much compre like I'll tell my moms.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
You'll have to let me know if you're going to
the Chicago show.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
That is three things you need to know for the
twenty ninth of April, Happy Tuesday. The best way to
keep listening to TIF in the morning is by searching
Kiss one oh seven one on the iHeartRadio And if
you can give me a few minutes of your time,
we were talking a lot about graduation this hour, with
it coming up in the next couple of weeks or so.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
My brother.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Called me the other day and told me that he
was going to start homeschooling his kids. We'll get to
the conversation around seven ten if you can give me
some time. But if you have any homeschooling experience, talk
back with Tiff on that same iHeart radio app to
get a jump on the conversation.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
I'm going to pick your brain on it.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
Microphone is in the top right hand corner of the
iHeart Radio app. Good morning, Good morning. Well, that is
certainly a way to get up. I hope you're off
to a decent start. If you didn't know this. I'm
back from school vacation week traveling myself. So if you're
just getting back into your regular routine, Hi, good morning.
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one, and I really appreciate that we're
(07:46):
commercial free for the rest of the hour, so good timing.
And if you didn't know this, we are doing talk
back for your grad party. John John kick thiss off
while I was away, but we're essentially hooking you up
with all the things you need for your grad party.
Thanks to hot Head Brine, they'll be providing catering and
we are sprinkling in a little graduation gift of Teddy
(08:06):
Swim's tickets.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
And that thing sold out like that when he announced
the tour.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
So if you want to get it on this, whether
you're a parent you want to embarrass your kid, or
if you want to talk back and you're a senior
high school or college. The microphone is in the top
right hand corner of the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
I like to nominate my husband, Sam because he's the
hardest working person I know. Every single day he forced
his heart into providing a beautiful life for my daughter
and I his determination, love and strength never go unnoticed.
But I know he really takes a moment for himself.
So winning this would mean the world, not just for
him to have a little rest and relaxation during our
(08:44):
daughter's birthday party, but also to help us make the
day extra special for our family and guests with hot heads.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
Cater I loved that one, Gal, I mean, you can
graduate at any age. First of all, I love that
your husband went back to school. Good for him. I
mean it takes like it takes a lot for an
adult to go back to school. I couldn't do it.
I couldn't do it, So shout out to him for that.
(09:11):
And I love that you're recognizing him and showing him love.
I don't think a lot of our husbands and guys
in our life get.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Some of that recognition sometimes.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
Okay, So to participate, you too can nominate yourself or
someone in your life. Like I said, the microphone is
in the top right hand corner of that iHeartRadio app.
In the meantime, we're still commercial for you.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Morning, What would your gut reaction be if someone looked
at you? Someone in your life that you're close with
looked at you and said, no judgment on this gut reaction.
I'm gonna start homeschooling my kids. Okay, you and I
most likely would have a similar gut reaction. You want
(09:54):
to be a part of some tea that has like
literally nothing to do with you, small town drama that
you can be. You know, you can be a fly
on the wall for sometimes it's a good feeling. Right,
you have no stake in the games. You're like, sure,
why not? This has to do with my family? My
brother called me if he didn't know. This is not
to get like too deep into my family tree, but
I have two half brothers, a half sister, and a
(10:16):
step sister. My oldest half brother called me because I'm
getting ready for a family trip in May, and he's,
you know, he wanted to know about my dad's estate.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
You guys were all a part of that.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
And then he's catching me up and spilling the tea
and he goes, I've decided that I'm gonna start homeschooling
my kids, and I would try to ruhard not to
be judgmental about it and approach it from a more
curious angle, which you know that's my style anyways, although
like it's hard, it's hard not to be judgmental on
(10:48):
this topic because am I wrong for thinking?
Speaker 2 (10:51):
And this is where I'm super naive on this.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
So this I'm gonna be leaning on you a little
bit because I'm gonna need some help heading into this
family trip. So I'm like, I'm checked into the right place,
you know, and I want to come from a good place.
But when I think of the homeschool kids, I think
of like the weird.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Hope, like the horse girl. Right, am I wrong?
Speaker 3 (11:14):
And so I was like, Oh, explain to me a
little bit more where you're coming from with this. By
the way, for context purposes, there's an eleven year old
and a nine year old and the previous schooling that
they've had has been like.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Kind of monissory.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
I'm pretty sure they went to a one hundred percent
outdoor school. I didn't know that those exist. Again, this
is in New England, by the way, I should have
prefaced this. This is a Massachusetts saying this is what
we're doing up in Massachusetts. Sent them to a school
that was like completely outside, kind of jealous as somebody
that is an aquarius and loves nature and such, and
that school is getting ready to end, right, they're aging
(11:50):
out of that, and so he's deciding do I send
them to a traditional public middle school, some sort of
private school, or do I just homeschool them. Now I've heard,
and this is where you're going to come into. I've
heard that homeschooling has gotten way better. His reasoning was
pretty interesting behind it, and not to share some of
his personal thoughts on the radio, but you know, since
(12:11):
it's just you and I this morning, he wants to
have a little bit more control over what they're exposed
to until they are at a better age to make
good decisions for themselves. One side of that is like,
well are you sheltering them? And the other side of
that is, I can see where you're coming from in
modern day education. It sounded like he wanted to just
(12:33):
give them a different way to learn rather than the
traditional school system.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Kind of was the overarching theme. Now.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
I'll have more on this when I go back for
the family trip in May, but this is where you
come in this morning, because I don't want to approach
this on it. I want to be curious about it.
And when I'm sitting across from him, and we're sharing
the beer on his patio and I ask him questions
about it, and I want to be there as a
young like as a little sister and as an aunt.
I don't want to be judgmental. So have you ever
(13:04):
been homeschooled? Are you homeschooling right now? What do I
say to this man? Five? One, three, seven, four nine,
one oh seven one? Or talkback with Tiff on the
iHeart Radio app. The microphone is in the top right
hand corner. If you don't feel like calling, you can
leave me voice notes. Hi, good morning. You're waking up
with TIF in the morning on at Kiss one oh
seven one. When did you realize that your kids were
(13:25):
smarter than you?
Speaker 5 (13:26):
Oh? When I was helping my kid with his homework
and I gave him the wrong answer and he insisted
I was wrong, and then he got a seat on
his homework. So, yeah, Mommy's not as smart as her son.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
That's what I was trying to tell my brother. Thank
you for the first of all, thank you for the
talkback with Tiff, an alternative way to contribute outside of
our phone lines. The microphone is in the top right
hand corner of the iHeart Radio app if you want
to leave me a talkback this morning. The reason why
we're chit chatting this that's like another reason I want
to tell my brother. He called me maybe two weeks
ago and said that he was going to start homeschooling
(14:02):
his kids, and I wanted you were going on a
family trip in May, and I wanted to be able
to sit across from him and you know, support him
and be a little bit more curious rather than judgmental.
But that was one of my first thoughts. I was like,
are you even capable of teaching your kids? I wouldn't be.
Speaker 6 (14:19):
I mean, I think there's a moment every parent's life
where your kid fixes the printer. And my son, he's nine,
he fixed the printer and I was like, oh, we're doomed.
We're totally doomed.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
That's how old my nephew is. By the way, the
two kids that are gonna be homeschool this is Massachusetts.
By the way, if you ought to be a part
of some family drama. One is nine and one is eleven.
You're telling me that you're going to be able to
teach a middle school person core math. My best friend
Acshally is a teacher and I was like, what do
(14:52):
you mean they've changed math?
Speaker 7 (14:54):
I thought my kid was smarter than me when he
got into calculus. You know, you have to qualify for that,
and I was always horrible.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Right, who knows, maybe he's onto something. Good Morning.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
We're just a few minutes out from the three things
you need to know to get your day started in
since we'll talk about Pete Rose, but first, good morning,
you're on the air.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Good morning.
Speaker 7 (15:17):
I have a lot of thoughts on the homeschool question.
If you'd like to hear.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Them, yes, please help.
Speaker 7 (15:23):
Okay, So, as a former educator, I used to be
a high school teacher, there is a lot of benefits
to homeschooling. Homeschooling kids and also kids that come from
a pretty non traditional school to begin with. And so
if your brother is able to provide them the attension
that they need. There are so many resources out there
(15:43):
to help homeschool kids, and there's a lot of co
ops so that they get that social aspect of it. Okay,
So four kids that come from a pretty non traditional
school to begin with, homeschool is actually a really good option.
And I've tutored kids as well as been friends with
kids that have been homeschooled and they do really well.
It's just making sure that they have the correct resources
(16:04):
in place.
Speaker 3 (16:04):
Okay, what's your name, what neighborhood you call me from.
Speaker 7 (16:07):
I'm Diana from Mount Healthy, Diana.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
This is a really good take. I appreciate you. I
guess I'm just caught up on the fact that I'm like,
I'm like, are you going to be able to teach
them core math?
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Because I don't know.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Is there you have a friend in their thirties or
early forties that you would trust like to teach your kids.
I wouldn't do I couldn't do it.
Speaker 7 (16:29):
So I actually I taught math, and so that is
my specialty. But the thing about I don't want to
get into the nuances of formath, but the resources, the
resources that are available actually teach that and it is
actually a much better way to teach math than a
lot of kind of a traditional sets.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Okay, thank you so much for the call, my gal.
I appreciate you. This will make me a little bit
more equipped to have a good family conversation when I
see my brother in May. I do appreciate that. And
you know what, maybe these kids will be able to
actually balance a check book, you know, or like know
how to buy a house, or know what a mutual
fund is, because we didn't learn that into school. Give
me three minutes, I'll have the three things you need
(17:10):
to know to get your day started in Sinci when
you need to know she's got you, it's three things
with tip on when I was seven. You don't have
this by May seventh, you're not getting on an airplane,
and you.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Might have some trips booked.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Good morning. We're just before eight o'clock on this Tuesday,
twenty ninth. It's beautiful at the moment. We're gonna see
some severe weather though by this afternoon. Keep your eyes
on that as you drive home. And if you're running
any of the races for the Pig this weekend, it
is gonna be much cooler than it is right now.
Not my favorite running weather, but you might like them.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
All.
Speaker 7 (17:45):
Right.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
Before we get to travel and such, let's start off
with Pete Rose. If you did not know this, maybe
I'm sure there's a very good chance that you did.
And because this is not like new news, but.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
We're really trum.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
You know, his lawyer's really trying to get Pete Rose
inducted into to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
As of right now, he's not eligible. He's been banned.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
I know that his lawyer met with Donald Trump, and
then Donald Trump had tweeted about it. Not that Donald
Trump has anything to do with it other than maybe
garnering some support for it, but the MLB Commissioner had
said that he's going to rule on this in the
next couple of weeks. So when there's more on it,
I'll have it for you as a reminder. Pete Rose
Night is at Great American Ballpark in almost two weeks,
(18:24):
I think two weeks from tomorrow May fourteenth. Second, and
three things you need to know. This will not be
the first or last time that you hear me remind
you about this. But the government's not pushing the real
ID requirements May seventh. May seventh. You will need a
real ID to get on an airplane. This was announced
(18:45):
back in like twenty twenty, and like all things in
twenty twenty, it was delayed and delayed and delayed. And
I thought that everyone had like a really good grasp
on what the real ID was and why you needed it.
But then I was chit chatting with my best friend
Abby on the bus ride down to Keenlan on Friday,
and she's like, what's that. She's a trip to Miami
booked for May eighth. I said, pull out your license.
(19:07):
She pulls out her Kentucky license. Right at the top
of it, it says, this is not a real ID.
You will need that to get on an airplane and
travel domestically. You can use your passport, so you're okay
on that. A real ID is just a new form.
It's got to have that little star on the top
right hand corner to get it.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
It's kind of a process.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
So if you are someone that likes to procrastinate and delay, come.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
On, you gotta get on it.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
You need two proofs of identity, so first certificate social
Security card who still has that thing I don't and
your passport two out of those three, and then two
different proofs of residency as well goes into effect May seven.
All right, Even lastly, in three things you Need to
Know this morning, let's shit chat about a cowboy. Carter
(19:51):
Beyonce kicked off the tour in La last name, and
Megan sent me some DMS of the prices of the merch.
We're talking fifty dollars for a baseball hat. We're talking
over one hundred for a sweatshirt. Some of these prices
are pretty traditional now when it comes to concerts, but
there is some conflicting footage out there about the attendance.
(20:14):
You're gonna see a lot of headlines about how Beyonce's
tour is failing.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
I have different views. There are some where it looks packed.
There are some where it does look dead. I can't
tell if that's because it's just the first night and
people haven't gotten to their seats yet. But I think
Beyonce and many other artists are giving fans a run
for their money when it comes to these tickets. I
did it, quick googly. There are tickets available for Chicago
(20:40):
that are less than two hundred dollars. Setlist thirty nine songs.
If you do not like Cowboy Carter or Renaissance Act one,
I don't know if this is the tour for you.
It is literally just those two albums, no other bangers
from previous Beyonce. Some highlights, though, Blue Ivy Death definitely
(21:00):
has stepped up her dancing game. Looks great, looks like
she's having fun, looks like she belongs there. A new
addition though, is Rooney. We saw her on stage last night,
one of Beyonce's twins, and she looked so happy to
be there. She kept smiling at the crowd. She was
just so excited. You could tell it was really her
first time on that stage.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
By the way, Cowboy.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
Carter won you know, Grammy for Best Album of the Year.
So when there's more in that, if there is, I'll
have it for you. Like I said, there were some
tickets when I look on ticket Master for soldiers Field.
All right, that is three things you need to know
for the twenty ninth of April coming up at eight
o five. We're commercial free. Our music is free, by
the way. It's commercial free and it's free to access.
(21:44):
You can listen to it in your car, at your
house with your kids, on your own in your headphones.
I play the best music and we're commercial free for
an entire hour. So maybe you got to pick up
some training miles, some last minute miles for the Flying Pig.
Go ahead and pull us up search Kiss one oh
seven one on the iheartradiop Good morning, Thank good morning.
You're waking up with TIF in the morning. On Kiss
one oh seven one, there was some breaking news in
(22:06):
northern Kentucky is shooting at the Amazon facility.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
I don't have full details yet.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
I will gather them and we'll cover it in three
things you need to know around eight fifty this morning. Okay,
while I have excuse me, hold on one second. We're
commercial free for the rest of the hour. And you
know what, it's free. It's free to hang out, it's
free to be a part of the community. It's free
to get your day started right here. And I appreciate
you stop and buy more.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Than you know.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
If you didn't know this, we started our talk Back
for your grad campaign. Were talking about about school a
lot today. We're talking about homeschooling in our last hour.
But if you're getting ready to graduate, college, high school,
whatever the case may be, we want to help you celebrate.
Our friends at hot Head Burritos are going to hook
you up with some catering and we've got Teddy Swims
(22:51):
tickets for you as a little graduation gifty from us
to you.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
Those tickets sold out.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Like that, so all you have to do is talk
back with Tiff. The microphone is in the top right
hand corner of the iHeartRadio app and just let us know.
Let us parents, you want to embarrass your kids? Sure, kids,
you want to nominate yourself.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
Go for it.
Speaker 8 (23:09):
When I sat out my son Andrew Harvey graduating from
Fairfield High School May of twenty twenty five, being accepted
into the University of Cincinnati virkinesiology with a four point
zero gpa. Being raised as single mom, he has worked
super hard for maintaining that four fingo GPA and I
could not be any proper. And congratulations to all the
(23:30):
class of twenty twenty five.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Good luck, absolutely good luck. Congratulations to you for making
it to the finish line. Let us help you throw
the party. So talk back with Tiff on the iheard
app at your leisure. Microphone is in the top right
hand corner, and as promised, we're still commercial free. Good
morning OOO, I think in the morning kiss on seven one.
Sarah's becoming that girl in the office. Hey, quick question
(23:54):
for you. When you're cleaning person in your building, we
love them right when she's the best, when she when
that person is cleaning the bathroom at your job, do
you still go in there and use the bathroom? And
it was an emergency, Sarah, I think you're a troll
like she had like the big bucket in front of
(24:14):
the door. So but then the door is still wide open.
Speaker 5 (24:17):
Yeah, and I just kind of move the door back
and you know, and she's in one stall and I
go to the other and I'm like, sorry, I got
a peek.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
There are three stalls in there was she doing waiting
for you to pay? She was in the one stall cleaning.
So I was like, you're going in, Sarah, you go
down to the fifth floor.
Speaker 9 (24:31):
I had no time.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
When you gotta go, you gotta go.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
So I come in.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
I'm like, tip, do you do the same thing? You're like, no,
You're a monster. You are a monster. She's in the
middle of doing her job. Well, so was I.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
I do understand that.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
You know, we get this like short commercial break where
we get to use the restroom, and I don't know
what it is, but it's always timed at the same
time as our cleaning person doing the bathroom, and so
I'll have to go down to the fifth floor. But
that's what I thought you were supposed to do. Five one,
three seven, four nine one oh seven one. If the
(25:09):
person is cleaning the bathroom that you want to use,
do you still go in there like a barbarian or
do you go down to the second floor. Hi, good morning,
you're waking up a tip in the morning on a
kiss one oh seven one, Happy Tuesday. I hope you're
off to a good start, maybe enjoying some of the
weather while we have it right. It's supposed to turn
severe later on this afternoon and then cooler for flying
(25:29):
pig weekend. We're talking office etiquette, specifically when it comes
to the bathroom.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
High you're on the air.
Speaker 10 (25:36):
Well, as someone who has no gallbladder, I am going
into that bathroom. I'm yelling emergency, and I'm using that
bathroom because as someone who doesn't have a doll buttery
don't have much time to all.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Right, well, well, thank you for the call.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
Aaron.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
I figured I understand where you're going with that one.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
That's a medical emergency if you're just walking into the conversation.
Sarah comes in and she's like, the I just went
to the bathroom while the person that cleans the bathroom
was in there cleaning it.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
I'm like, Sarah, you can't do that.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
She's like, why not? I had to go. I'm like,
you go to a different floor like a normal person. Okay,
Two songs from now Hey, you know I'm a sucker
for a list. Cincinnati did not fall on this list,
and it's a good thing. I'll explain why.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
Next you're waking up with fifth in the morning, kiss on.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
Hey, good morning. There's a shooting happening at an Amazon
facility in northern Kentucky. I'm not far off from sharing
the details that I have three things you need to
know happens every day at eight fifty. If you can
give me a few minutes while I have you right now, though,
I am a sucker for a list, and the first
thing I check is to see if Cincinnati fell on
(26:48):
the list, and it is nowhere to be found, and
this is a good thing. New York Post put out
a list of what's their headline on it. I'll grab
it for him. The dirtiest US cities and the number
one city on there that I would think that would
claim the Numero uno spot is New York.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
It's not on the list, nowhere to be found.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
So if New York is not considered dirty, then you
better believe that Cincinnati is not considered dirty, and that
is a good thing. If you're curious as to like
what put people on the list, it was sewage. It
was also trash, pick up the streets, et cetera. Things
that you would automatically assume. Coming in at number one
(27:37):
is the most dirtiest city alive. Baltimore, Maryland, Sacramento, California, Charlotte,
North Carolina. Surprised to me La, Memphis, Boston, mass San Antonio,
San Antonio, Kansas City, Buffalo, New York, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Nashal
And then the list goes on. New York didn't fall
(27:58):
within the top ten, And I don't understand why weren't
they the ones that led the charge on having a
ratsar The rats don't run the city we do. Do
you remember when rat girls summer trended? Was this in
twenty twenty two? Might have been twenty three Cincinnati. We're
not having a rat girl summer here. But the rats
(28:20):
don't run the city we do. A lot of the
cities that are considered dirty are ones that we traveled
to to see the Bengals play. So apparently we're offering
people that are going to travel to us this year
nothing but a clean, excellent experience. Good morning, You're a
waking up with TIF in the morning on a kiss
one oh seven one, or just a few minutes out
(28:42):
from the three things you need to know to get
your day started in sincey including what's going on in
northern Kentucky at the moment.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
But first, So, I was just listening to the list
of dirty as cities and I don't understand.
Speaker 5 (28:54):
How Philadelphia is not on there.
Speaker 4 (28:56):
I lived there for a year and it was so dirty.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
That list just baffling me.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
Of my days.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
So thank you for the talk back, which if you
make a good point if you're just walking into the conversation.
The New York Posts put out a list of the
US the US most dirtiest cities, and New York didn't
fall within the top ten. You know who didn't make
the list whatsoever? Which is a good thing. Cincinnati, we
(29:29):
keep it can lean here, baby, New York City.
Speaker 7 (29:33):
If I drag a rolling suitcase around in those streets,
it will not come in my house until I lie
it down in my driveway and sanitize.
Speaker 8 (29:40):
The heck out of it.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
Wow, that is dedication.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
You remember we used to sanitize our groceries during the pandemic.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
I'm triggered, triggered.
Speaker 5 (29:48):
Speaking of the rats, please play that club. That's like,
the rats don't run the city.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
We did this absolutely, I absolutely got you.
Speaker 2 (29:56):
But the rats don't run the city we do. Hmmm, yeah,
Cincinnati didn't fall within the top ten.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
I love though that we travel as Bengals fans to
a lot of the cities that fell and even in
the top fifteen to see our to go to those
cities and they're considered dirty. But guess what when people
come here to see Joe Burrow playing mm hmm and
Jamar Chase mm hmmm, we've got nothing but clean, nothing
(30:26):
but clean to offer them.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
Okay, I love it, Sam, damn damn. Okay, trade me
three minutes. I'll trade you through things.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tif on kiss when I was seven.
Speaker 4 (30:43):
One.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
We're gonna talk about Joe Burrow in a hot sec
But first, hey, we're just before nine o'clock. At nine
oh five, your first chance of the day to pick
up that thousand bucks. Don't go far. Let's start off
with what's going on in northern Kentucky. Shooting happened at
the Amazon facility. Boone County officers did announce that one
person I believe the shooter died at Saint Elizabeth Hospital.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
There is still very much under development.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
This morning, that's pretty much all the details I have
for you, So when there is more, it might even
be tomorrow that I have to revisit the story. Just
know that that is going to come up. If you're
also experiencing maybe some traffic in the area. That is
why second in three things you need to know. I
love it when Cincinnati is on the world stage, especially
when it comes to big things like maybe Sun Dance
(31:31):
at one point or FIFA.
Speaker 2 (31:33):
World Cup, and.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
We do have some FIFA World Cup games coming up
later on this summer. And former US national women's head
coach and now the Chief Football Officer of FIFA, her
name is Jill Ellis, was asked about Cincinnati and here
she is. No, that's not it, that's something that's Jack
Black that's coming in one second, give me one second.
Speaker 11 (31:57):
Certainly, the appetite for people to come and watch and
see these We've had great receptions, but the cities themselves
and the venues are fantastic. Some of these stadiums I
hadn't been in and so to go go and see
the venues Cincinnati, I've never been that stadiums blown away.
So I think it's going to be a spectacle.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
It's going to be fun, It's going to be exciting.
Isn't that cool?
Speaker 3 (32:18):
That was on the FIFA World Stage they were talking
about Cincinnati. By the way, I mentioned this yesterday that
FCC is undefeated this month, just killing it.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
If you didn't know this, TQL Stadium will host four
matches in this summer's FIFA World Cup, and that happens
between June fifteenth and beyond. Okay, so it'll be busy
this summer, that's for sure, all right. And then lastly,
and three things you need to know this morning. Jack
Black's Steve's Lava Chicken from the Minecraft movie, which has
(32:52):
blown people away as far as like box office numbers go,
became the shortest hot one hundred hit song ever, coming
in at just about thirty seconds. Here's a quick clip
seem of kicking your asss hell.
Speaker 10 (33:10):
Their Chrisbee I'm just now you have on the stack.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
Debut at number seventy seven. By the way, do you
know who comes in at a close second for the
shortest hot one hundred hit song is Kid Cutty and
this song is called Beautiful trip. Here's a quick clip
for you if you don't know it, you're not familiar
with it. That song is a total of thirty seven seconds,
(33:49):
comes in at number two. And you know who's a
big fan of Kid Cuddy in this city?
Speaker 7 (33:55):
This was all free this the.
Speaker 3 (33:59):
Sweat was made by my friend Micah that I went
to high school with, and the shoes are from my
friend Scott.
Speaker 12 (34:07):
As most people know of Kid Cuddies, this was I
remember when Kit Cutt he had a tour scheduled here
two summers ago, and then he canceled it because he
had that injury that he sustained from Coach Ella.
Speaker 3 (34:19):
I really wish you would announce a tour and come
back here again, one of my favorite artists of all time.
That is three things you need to know for the
twenty ninth of April. My god, we're creeping towards.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
The beginning of May.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
At the end of this week, at the beginning of
our nine o'clock hour, right around nine oh five, you
have a chance to pick up a thousand bucks. We're
gonna pay your bills on Kiss And the best way
to keep listening so you don't miss that is on
the free iHeartRadio app just like Joe Burrow, we love
free here too.
Speaker 1 (34:43):
This was all free kiss on.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
It's time for Tuesday tips on Tip in the morning,
Good morning. Abby does all the research so that you
don't have to put any effort in. And this week
you will go from being a piggy to a horse
girl in just a matter of a couple of hours
with the Flying Pig Saturday and then the Kentucky Derby
just a couple of hours later. Abby, Are we celebrating
the Derby in Cincinnati this weekend?
Speaker 6 (35:06):
All the barn animals.
Speaker 9 (35:09):
Yeah, we're raised in North any Kentucky or any Kentucky.
But I've actually never been to the derby, which is
that bucket list item.
Speaker 7 (35:18):
But lots of fun things happening.
Speaker 9 (35:20):
For the Derby. They do a big event down at
Braxton Brewing in Covington, and so this Saturday they're going
to be starting at two pm. But they've got that
scarlet Vindonia. How do you say that word the the
flower truck.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
I don't know, I don't know if I know, I
don't know.
Speaker 9 (35:39):
Scarlet Scarletonia.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
So there's.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
Is it the Burgonia?
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Is that what you're saying?
Speaker 9 (35:48):
B E D O n I a s at that,
but there's a flower truck down there with this truck
is so cute, very social media worthy. Molly Wellman is
going to be doing her favorite and signature mint, Julip Swich.
If you've never had, you're truly missing out, and of
course they're doing a best dress, best hat contest, all
(36:11):
the different things.
Speaker 3 (36:12):
Okay, well, that's Saturday, the Derby down at Braxton. I
almost forgot that we were at Derby weekend, so thank
you for that reminder. And then let's backtrack a couple
of days. Thursday, what kicks off at Fountain Square.
Speaker 9 (36:25):
Salt on the Square one of my favorite events of
the summer. The series of Salts on the Square is
so fun. Yeah, let's say diverse, croud, and one thing
I love that I feel like I don't think I've
always done this, but I know in the recent years
they do like salt a lessons, So even if you
don't know how to salta, you can still go down
and people would just start dancing with you, and.
Speaker 3 (36:47):
You can go solo to this at all, which would
I love that for you. And it's also free. If
it is free, it is for us this summer.
Speaker 7 (36:57):
Free is for us.
Speaker 9 (36:58):
Yeah, this is a great events, an easy event to
go to solo and make a lot of friends.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
Quick love that Abby does all the research so that
we don't have to do everything. Sincey what else do
we have this s morning?
Speaker 9 (37:10):
We have a lot of like a big events happening
this weekend. But also Sinker to Mayo is just coming Monday,
and so on Sunday, the Banks is doing their big
Sinker to Mayo party and that's four to nine. But
they're going to have a live maraachi band that actually
is from from twelve thirty to three pm, and then
food and drink specials run at nine participating bars and
(37:33):
restaurants from four to nine.
Speaker 3 (37:35):
So we love a good special too.
Speaker 8 (37:36):
But it's not free, it better be on special, you'll bet.
Speaker 3 (37:38):
If it's not free, it better beyond happy hour, all right, Abby?
Speaker 2 (37:43):
From everything?
Speaker 3 (37:44):
Sincey hey, that's my go to place when I want
to figure out what's going on, if I have friends
in town, family in town, if I just want to
get out of my house, free, single, solo, dog lovers, whatever,
everything is there everything sincey dot com or if you're
a social media person, obviously it's the same handle.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
Thanks abby, Thanks, Coming up night.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
We'll do this every Tuesday, So if you're just walking
into the end of this, this is your one stop
shop to figure out what's going on in since this week.
All right, coming up around nine thirty, the daily Debrief.
I'll choose the one big thing that I think we
talked about today. Are you smarter than a third grader?
I'll explain what we're talking about.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. Huh kiss
one O seven one?
Speaker 2 (38:22):
I forgot to turn my microphone on. Hi, good morning.
Speaker 3 (38:24):
Are you smarter than a third grader? A little foreshadowing
of what's gonna come later in the week, and a
little recap kind of at the same time. If you're
just walking into the show, this is the daily debrief.
I choose one of the bigger things that I think
we covered in the four hours of conversation. Then there's
usually a lot and revisit it, giving you a chance
(38:45):
to kind of get involved, get caught up, get organized,
especially if you're just starting your day. I don't like
feeling out of the loop, so I want to make
sure that you're in the loop. I was talking about
how my brother told me he wants to homeschool his kids.
We had this whole conversation about it, and in my head,
I'm thinking the whole time, I'm like, Greg, are you
like smart enough to homeschool your kids? So we are
(39:08):
gonna play this game. I think I'm gonna try to
rope John John into playing it and you can join
in right now.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
Are you smarter than a third grader? One question for you?
What item?
Speaker 3 (39:18):
Did Alexander Graham Bell invent a the telephone? Be the
mind detector? Three?
Speaker 2 (39:24):
The gramophone?
Speaker 3 (39:27):
Did I say three? I might not even be smart
enough to teach a third grader see a gramophone or
d a twisted layer. If you said the telephone, you
were in fact correct, and maybe you could homeschool my
little nieces and nephew. If you want to get caught
up on the conversation, you know I had asked you
if you knew anyone that was homeschool if you had
any tips advice, And this is kind of the conversation
(39:49):
that we got into this morning, lots of different angles
on it.
Speaker 13 (39:53):
So this entirely depends on the type of materials being
used and how the parent is going to implement everything. Now,
we still were able to have a slight school setting
because we had neighboring churches.
Speaker 3 (40:09):
Okay, thank you for the Talkback with TIF. You two
can contribute and get involved in the show for free
anytime on your own schedule. If you want to talk
back with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app, the microphone is
in the top right hand corner the right next to
the play button.
Speaker 2 (40:23):
There you'll see you just hold that down.
Speaker 3 (40:25):
In fact, everything we do with the show gets podcasted
for you to catch up at your own leisure, So
just search Tiff in the morning on that same place.
I hope you're enjoying.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
Your day is Tuesday. It's the final week of April
twenty twenty five.
Speaker 3 (40:39):
Enjoy the weather that we have at the moment because
it will turn I guess severe later on this afternoon
and then cooler for any of the racers joining us
for Flying Pig Weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
