Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you. It's Three
Things with Tip.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Good morning, the Life of a show Girl. We're just
before seven o'clock on the fourteenth of August.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Coming up at seven thirty.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I'm calling out our next Instagram handle for our twenty
one pilot's ticke attack.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
So don't go farm.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Xavier moving into school today. Oh, Kill's going back to
school today. You're in the right place. The Taylor New
Heights episode was two hours plus last night, so I'm
going to break it down into three major parts over
the show. In this hour three Things, We're just gonna
focus on the album announcement, saying that Life of a

(00:40):
Show Girl comes out on October third, her twelfth studio
album will only have twelve songs. And here's why I.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Wanted to do an album that was so focused on
quality and on the theme and everything fitting together like
a perfect puzzle. That these twelve songs for my twelfth album.
It just I feel like we achieved that.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
And here's what the album is about.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
This album is about what was going on behind the
scenes in my inner life during this tour, which was
so exuberant and electric and vibrant.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
And she would say you know this album was written,
of course during the Eras tour, and that she would
go and perform for the three days over the weekend
like she normally does, and then she'd fly to Swite
And she did confirm that it is a Max Martin
produced album and the life of a show girl all
of the tracks I'm sure you can see on Instagram.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
There is only one feature.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
It is the title track feature, the last song on
the album, and it does have Sabrina Carpenter in it,
and so fans are going cuckoo over that. I'm excited
for that track. I wish it would come out early,
but we do know that Sabrina Carpenter's album is coming
out on the twenty ninth of August.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
No idea if Taylor will.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Appear on that one or not, or maybe it'll come
out sometime around that, but I'm assuming that Taylor wants
to give Sabrina a little bit of runway to have
her own album come out. Either way, I hope two
of these girls, the two of these gals together will
do us a favor and save summer of twenty twenty
five by maybe giving us a late song of summer.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
But we will see there's so much to break down.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
The one thing that I did pick up about the
album itself outside of the visuals being very like seductive
and sensual and sexy, which is you know, Taylor is
sexy in her own right, but usually she doesn't show
a lot of skin like she did.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
In some of these photos. She looked great.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
There are only twelve songs, and she made it very
clear during that podcast that.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
There will only.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Be twelve songs for her twelfth studio album, and we
will not get any bonus ones, we will not get
any extras, we won't get anything else. So she was
very clear about that. There's so much to break down
on it. I will have more coming up around seven twenty.
I do want to get into the relationship. If I'm
missing anything, feel free to talk back with Tiff.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
All right.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Second, and three things you need to know this morning.
Mayor Aftab had some availability in his schedule yesterday and
he did take the time to talk to the news
about the violence going on in Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Here's a quick clip.

Speaker 5 (03:16):
There's no doubt that we continue to have challenges with
specific kinds of crimes.

Speaker 6 (03:21):
Mayor abtab pure all talking about real public safety concerns
involving property crimes and gun violence to what she's quoted saying,
poverty is the root cause of all these challenges, but
specifically the car break ins and property crime is about guns.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
You know.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
That's my guy, Lee Maoun from seven hundred WLW, our
sister station. He did go on to say that here's
what we're doing about it, all right, We're having increased
police officer foot patrol. Hamilton County Sheriff's Department's going to
help out. You'll see more city ambassadors wearing green vests
and a lot of those people are teenagers.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
And you'll also notice.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Because I noticed this too, that the Ohio State Patrol
is going to take over some of those radar roots.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
I've seen at least three.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Ohio State cops on seventy one North on my way
back to my neighborhood in the last two days. So
you will see more increased patrol in Cincinnati as we
continue to work and make it safer. And then, lastly,
and three things you need to know. This morning, Kanye
West to announce in a minute long trailer that he's
got a documentary coming out on September nineteenth. The producer

(04:23):
of the film has been filming and following him since
he was eighteen years old. That is three things you
need to know for the fourteenth of August. Coming up
at seven thirty or twenty one pilot's ticket tag.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
You're waking up with Fifth in the Morning, h Kiss
one U seven one, Good morning in morning, Welcome to
Tiff in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
We're going to do a special edition of chit chat
Roulette if you are new to a regular routine as
you filter back into school. Sarah Elise works with Kick,
Chris and WEBN and every Monday we do something called
chit chat Roulette where we kind of put all the
biggest topics from the weekend into one like fake wheel,
and we just filter through them as fast as we
can so that you feel up to date and in

(05:03):
the loop. I'm ready to go, and today's special edition
is all Taylor related.

Speaker 7 (05:08):
Is Jason Kelsey the modern day Barbara Walton.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
We put five minutes on the clock to keep our
act together. Now, to me, there are three parts of
the Taylor New Heights episode. It's either we talk about
the masters, we talk about the album, or we talk
about the relationship with Travis.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Where do you want to.

Speaker 7 (05:26):
Go oh my god, I love you show everything. Just
start from the beginning, Start from the beginning. Okay, well, okay, okay.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Am I the drama clearly, we are.

Speaker 7 (05:37):
So excited we cannot get this together. Can we just
talk about the album title real quick?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Okay, you want to start with the album? Go ahead,
go ahead, Life for show Girl.

Speaker 7 (05:48):
I am so excited for this. Twelve tracks, yep, Sabrina
Carpenter on track twelve.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
I love that.

Speaker 8 (05:56):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (05:56):
Is Sabrina Carpenter like her little little boo boo wanna
on a purse like the kite?

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Wise? Yes, vibes wise.

Speaker 7 (06:05):
Yeah, Sabrina Carpenter is a little la.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Boo boo she is.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Her album comes out on not this Friday, next Friday.
Do you think that Taylor would appear on that album
or no?

Speaker 7 (06:17):
I don't know about that.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
I don't know either.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
I feel like obviously Taylor wouldn't mention that or anything
because she wants to give Sabrina her you know, her
runway with her album.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
I almost see like I'm a show girl October third.

Speaker 7 (06:31):
Only mean Girl's Day.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
That's right. I'm glad you brought that up. It's only
twelve twelve.

Speaker 7 (06:37):
Tracks, yeah, and ten plus three is thirteen. And we
all have known that Taylor Swift is upstetsed with numbers,
and we saw a lot of that last night. Travis
Kelce is number eighty seven, hers is thirteen. Together they
are one hundred, keeping it one hundred all of the time.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
We thank you for doing the math on that I
didn't pick up on it.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Let's talk about the relationship, because I think that that
is getting.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
The visual on it.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Last night, you could really tell that there was a
certain energy between them.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Tell me if this is if you guys.

Speaker 7 (07:07):
Make sul thinking about them? They are Kenn Barbie.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
There's a certain type of boy masculine energy about Travis
and Jason that I think makes her feel like she
can show up as herself. Did you get that they
were like very two dorky, giggly boys.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Dude, the guy, Okay? Is that what it is?

Speaker 7 (07:30):
It's the Midwest, That's what it is. It's that whole
Midwest gentleman vibe. And they are they're all kind of
dorky together and they're all just killing it in what
they do. And you can tell that they respect her
so much the way they were hyping her up Jason
was asking all of the right questions, and he was
very in tune with what she does. And she's gotten

(07:53):
into football. I mean, she admitted she's like I didn't
really know much of anything she goes. My dad growing
up would be down stack watching the Eagles games, and
I'm upstairs playing the piano and the guitar and singing.
And now it's like her worlds, it just have all
collided and it makes so much sense. And there were
between her and Travis, there was so much handholding and
kissing and touching and like the playful, flirty stuff. I'm like, oh,

(08:17):
this is very real. Yeah, And I think at one moment,
don't quote me on this, but she had said something
like this is the love I've dreamt about, Like this
is what I've been singing about. I need to go
back and grab that exact clip. But it was like
everything she says is so poetic and beautiful, but it's
just it's who she is. And I loved watching two
straight hours of just unfiltered Taylor.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Yeah, and he was infatuated with her. I read this.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
I read when I was going through Travis's GQ article
and reading it. You know, he had said that when
he got a chance to sit in front of Cleveland
Brown's coach, and he just immediately bald and said, I've
been wanting to play for the Browns for my entire life, like.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Please, like let me.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
It didn't end up working out, obviously, we know, but
he said, I was just I'm so comfortable with my emotion.
And I think that vulnerability is what Taylor connects with
because he was infatuated with her. He was just hyping
her up, cheering her on, and it allowed her to
show up fully as herself. Yeah, and then she was
able to give that back to him by learning football
and learning about the plays and learning about the people

(09:20):
who were traded and the Chiefs and beyond. And so
I don't know if marriage is in there, if that's
what they decide as a couple moving forward, but there's
definitely a I always think relationships operate in a pyramid,
and at the baseline of their pyramid, you can tell
that they've got each other's back, and whatever you decide
to put on top of your pyramid, we'll see.

Speaker 7 (09:41):
And Travis even said Taylor makes me a better man.
He goes, I feel like the luckiest man alive and
I love that they're so focused on each other and
their love and they tune out all the negativity. I mean,
they talked about that last night. They said, look, we
don't get involved in social media. We're not reading the headlines.
We're too busy focused on each other and our and
making our fans happy. And I feel like they've got

(10:03):
their heads in the right places. And I'm so I'm
shipping this, Leve. I think it's endgame.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
I'm just stop talking, Stop talking, Sarah, the Farmer's going out.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
I'm just yeah them, Yeah, good morning.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
You're waking up with Tim in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one, You're walking into some conversation about
a Taylor Swift. It was good to get Sarah at
Leasa's perspective because I feel like just kind of a
regular music consumer. I may scroll a past in Easter
egg or two and be.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Like, oh yeah, I got one.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Outside of that, I felt a little overwhelmed, a little
over stimulated. But it was cool watching the New Heights
podcast last night. So I'm getting your take on some
of the things to checking your talkbacks with TI, feel
free to contribute.

Speaker 9 (10:48):
I just want to say I'm obsessed with these show
Growl promotional images. I'm not the biggest swift, ye, I'm
more of like a Beyonce, Mariah Arianna, you know, the
girls that can actually vocals. But I'm just so excited
that we're done with the folklore and the fables and
that dry, dry, dry red lis stick and the cardigans.

(11:12):
I think she looks Dare I say sexy?

Speaker 3 (11:15):
I mean yes.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Thank you for the talk pack with TIF Microphone's in
the top righting corner of the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
If you want to leave me a voice note.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
You said it, not me, and I agree with the
I'm glad we've moved on from folklore evermore and Lover
and I too have been googling what that red lipstick is.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
It's rare beauty, I believe.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Which would make sense because that's Lena Gomez and that's
her best team. Okay, coming up three minutes from now,
let's move on to a different t our. Twenty one
pilot's ticket tag. You have about three minutes to drop
your name into Instagram. It's our top pin post. When
I call out your Instagram handle. Coming up next, you
have ten minutes and seven seconds to call me back

(11:58):
if you want to go see them next next month,
next month at TQL Stadium.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
When you need to know She's got you, It's three
Things with Tip on Good Morning.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Do you know what the difference is between masters and publishing?
I learned that from Taylor Swift last night. Give me
a Hot seguartis before eight o'clock on the fourteenth of August.
At eight thirty, I have your chance to win a
pair of tickets to thunder Down Under. So do not
go far all right? Two hours of the New Heights
podcast episode available for free free to catch up anytime

(12:34):
that you want on the iHeartRadio app. I've kind of
broken down to the podcast down to what I believe
are the three major sections, the album and the music
and the Easter eggs, the Masters, and then her and
Travis's relationship. This hour, we're going to focus on the Masters,
because that ended up being a really big topic of
conversation from Jason Kelsey, also known as Barbara Walters, from

(12:57):
that interview last night. Just quickly though, just in case
you don't, Life of a Showgirl does come out on
October third.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
It's her twelfth studio album.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
There will only be twelve tracks on it and Sabena
Carpenter is the feature on the last song, which is
the title track. Okay, so we know I said about
two months ago, Taylor made a big post in announcement
that she got her master's back. Now on the podcast,
she explains what the masters are.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Traditionally, a lot of record deals are set up in
a way that artists don't own what's called their master recordings.
Owning your master recordings means that you have complete control
and power over distribution, licensing, and essentially the way your
legacy is shaped.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
I googled it further.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Master's rights refers to the ownership of the actual sound recording,
the master basically the final product, while the publishing rights
pertained to the song's composition, the lyrics in the melody.
So always a big deal for Taylor to own her masters.
She even said there's a lot of music videos that
I financed on my own that I didn't own the

(14:03):
rights to.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
She even went further to say that some like down.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
The line when Taylor passes on, instead of her master
recordings going down to her kids and her lineage, whoever
owned them, they would pass them down to their kids.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
She's like this, this isn't it right.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
She also explained too that owning the masters isn't a
big deal for every artist, but for her it always was.
She also went on to say that, you know, even
just having the conversation somewhat publicly has led to other
artists inquiring about, hey, like should I own my masters?
Mentioned that her she sent her mom and her brother

(14:40):
to Shamrock Capital, and she was very transparent. She's like,
I didn't even think that Shamrock or anyone would consider
giving them back because there's such a high value and
a high asset, but they ended up doing it, and
shere's here's her reaction.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
About your music.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
And I just like, very dramatically hit the floor for real,
like honestly just started a long time bawling my eyes out,
and I'm just like just weeping.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
You could tell she's even emotional about it there.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
All right, Second, we'll leave it there. We'll have more
coming up in our next hour. Second, and three things
you need to know, mayor Ata. I've had some time
in a schedule to meet with the News yesterday and
it talked about the violence here in Cincinnati and addressed
what we're gonna do about it.

Speaker 6 (15:22):
Curfus are set for enforcement this week after Cincinnati City
Council passed a pair of ordinances last week.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
We have taken great pains to implement a curfew enforcement
protocol that is fair, that is equable, and most importantly
does not criminalize children.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Mayor you know that.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
That was my guy Lee Mouin from seven hundred Wow.
He also went on to say, outside of the curfew,
there's going to be increased foot patrol, City ambassadors and
the Ohio State Patrol be careful of this is taking
over radar roots on our major highways. I already saw
a bunch of Ohio State cops.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
Out there the last couple of days, all right.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
And then lastly, very quickly, Kanye West announced that he's
got a new documentary coming out in the middle of September.
The producer that made it has been following Kanye since
he was eighteen years old. I'm very curious on what
that footage is like. That is three things you need
to know for the fourteenth of August.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
Good morning, You're.

Speaker 10 (16:18):
Waking up with fifth in the morning.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
Kiss Hello, hello, hello, Hello, Welcome back to your regular routine.
We're talking about neighbor stories. One of my favorite things
to revisit. Also, roommate stories is a good one kind
of the same vein just depends on what phase of
life you're in.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
And I figured we'd.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Do this because Xavier is moving into school today and
I live for your roommate or neighbor stories. Neighbor and
I guess now roommate as well is the keyword you're
gonna need to win the thunder down Under tickets coming
up around eight thirty this morning.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
We're gonna start off with your talkbacks.

Speaker 11 (16:56):
So we moved into a two family and the family
that lived above us, they were just awful, like so
many things going on. One of them would urinate out
the window every night, and we just had lots of
issues with them, you know, selling drugs and all that.
But we eventually got back at them and bought the

(17:19):
house and evicted them.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Well, thank you for the talkback with Tiff. I was
really locked into that story. Boys love to pee in
random places.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
I mean, I love it. I love it.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Maybe the best place to do it is not off
the balcony of your living situation. The talkback feature is
a great way to get in touch with the show.
It's really easy outside of calling me, which my phone
line is always available to you. But when you search
kiss one O seven one on the iHeartRadio app, the
microphone is in the top right hand corner. You just

(17:54):
hold that down forever and ever, ever and ever. Iconic
on my show is thea that we got around this
subject maybe last year.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
It lives rent free in my head.

Speaker 12 (18:05):
Hey guys, so bad roommates. My freshman year in college
roommates stole my comforter one night when I was out
at a party and I came home and couldn't find
my comforter and she was under it naked with a
random stranger. And then my recondier roommate was from the
middle of nowhere, upstate New York and used to sleep

(18:26):
in hay in her dormat true.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Story, sleeping in hey Man college dorm room stories.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
I love them all.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Right if I went three seven four nine one oh
seven one. Neighbor or roommate or you can use that
same talk back feature again.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Neighbor or roommate is the key word.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
You're gonna need for the thunder down under tickets coming up.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on a
kiss one oh seval one we're talking about your neighbor
and or room room rumor or roommate stories in honor
of Xavier moving back in today. I figured that would
be a great topic to.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Just kind of dance around.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
By the way, neighbor or roommates the keyword you're gonna
need for the thunder down under tickets coming up here
in a few minutes.

Speaker 13 (19:11):
Well, I think I have the worst neighbors. I live
in an apartment building. In last week we had this
swat team oh no, trying to take a gentleman out
of the apartment next door due to guns and a warrant.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Okay, I bet you're not the only Cincinnati in or
try statter with a story like that.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
The microphone is in the top right hand corner of
the iHeartRadio app. It's an alternative way to contribute to
the show. If you rather leave me a voice now,
then call me. Although I do love chatting with you,
I've been lucky to only have good roommates I mean roommates, yes,
and neighbors.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
That's not always the case.

Speaker 14 (19:53):
Has the neighbors with all of the pets, including the EMUs,
and I didn't really mention in there that for the
first year that they had the EMO, the EMUs were
getting blue. They were leaving their gate open, and they
were just walking around the neighborhood.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 14 (20:08):
They're like dinosaurs and they're not like mean, but they're
kind of scary.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
I have to google what an emu is. Where would
one get an emu? Oh my god, Oh my god,
did they steal that from the Cincinnati Zoo? Where does
one get an emu on demand?

Speaker 3 (20:28):
We lived on the first floor.

Speaker 13 (20:29):
I raised my shade in my bedroom and there was
my upstairs neighbor outside my window trying to peek in.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
Creepy. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Yeah, we haven't gotten a single roommate story yet.

Speaker 8 (20:42):
Several years ago, I lived in a duplex next to
a man who absolutely hated medical professionals, and I'm a nurse.
I used to have to come in from work rush
in my house because he would come out and basically
get up in my face and be angry and all
that long story already. Finally moved out. About two hours
months after he moved out, I get a knock at
my door and it's the FBI looking for him.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
Oh the drama.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Ooh, I'm curious. You guys have left me curious this morning.
I appreciate the talk back with Tiff. You two can
contribute because you've got three minutes until I get you
those Thundered down Under tickets with the keyword neighbor.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Good luck.

Speaker 10 (21:23):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on kiss
one O seven to one.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
So I'm sending you to thunder down Under in Lawrence Burg.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
I mean, let's ride.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
We literally and we ride at dawn five win three
seven four nine one o seven one, collar ten. If
you have the keyword, go ahead and start dialing. We're
in the midst of talking about your random neighbor or
worst roommate stories in honor of Xavier moving back into
school today, So I'm checking your talkbacks.

Speaker 15 (21:50):
Dude, I have this one guy who literally has a
lasso like he's a cowboy from the eighteen hundredths or
something and with a cul de sac. And he will
go outside and he will practice whipping his lasso, like
surrounded by cars and apartment buildings. It's hotolarious.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
I'm why do boys do the weirdest things? Why do
boys have these weird bizarre hobbies? Why, hopefully you have
a little hint to uh so what we're talking about
based on that keyword?

Speaker 3 (22:27):
There, you have a hint? Does the keyword five win
three seven nine one seven one.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
I do have one more open phone line if you
would like to go to thunder down Under? If you
have the keyword, hopefully you have a hint.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
Good luck.

Speaker 10 (22:43):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on kiss one.

Speaker 16 (22:45):
O seven one.

Speaker 3 (22:46):

Three Things with Tip on Kiss one O seven one.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Good morning, I've got some stuff on Taylor here in
a hot sega. We're just before nine o'clock on the
fourteenth of August. Coming up at nine ten, I have
a chance for you to win a free trip to
Vegas to our iHeartRadio Music Festival, and I'll throw in
a thousand bucks, So don't go farm. Okay, So the
two hour New Heights episode is available for you to
catch up if you haven't seen it yet, anytime you
want four free on the iHeartRadio app. What I've done

(25:24):
is taken what I think are the three biggest themes
of the podcast and broken them down into a different hours.
Three things every hour, the music, the Easter Eggs, the album.
Then we talked in the last hour about her masters.
This hour, let's talk about the relationship with Travis because
this is well. First of all, this is Taylor's first

(25:45):
ever podcast that she's done. I didn't realize that, and
she said herself that she's a big fan of New
Heights and she wanted to be on it. And I thought,
just watching this and listening to it, it was really
the first time that you got insight on Taylor, you
got insight on Travis, You got insight on their relationship together.

(26:06):
He or she is talking about the beginning stages of
them dating.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
This kind of felt more like I was in an
eighties John Hughes movie and he was just like standing
outside of my window with a boombox, just being.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
Like, I want to date you? Do you want to
to day with me? I made you friendship prices. Do
you want to date me?

Speaker 7 (26:23):
Do you come outside and meet me?

Speaker 16 (26:24):
Just meet me?

Speaker 11 (26:25):
What?

Speaker 13 (26:26):
So?

Speaker 4 (26:27):
I was like, if this guy isn't crazy, which is
a big if. This is sort of what I've been
writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I
was a teenager.

Speaker 19 (26:39):
And I was sitting there at the Airs tour listening
to every single one of those songs like she I
know she wants me to do.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
It was really cool getting some insight on that because
we didn't know much other than Travis's version on the
New Heights podcast about how they met, but they spoke
on that at length. She thanked the podcast and the
podcast listeners full or you know, giving her the opportunity

(27:04):
to meet Travis, because he treated it like his own
personal dating app. We got some insight on what they
do now that she's not traveling for tour and he's
not on season. They bake bread together, he sends her
videos of otters like things that we do at home.
They try to maintain normalcy together. She talked about her
obsession now with the NFL and that he's introduced her

(27:26):
into his world and she's introduced him to hers, and overall,
I mean, we're outsiders, but as an outsider looking in,
it really does look like they are a healthy, well
balanced relationship with goals and you know, struggles and this
and that it was great.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
Life of a Showgirl does come out on October third.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
All right, second and three things you need to know
This morning at Mayor, Aftab had some time in his
schedule to chit chat about with the news about the
latest on Cincinnati and the violence and where our city
is going, what we're doing, And I've got a quick
clip for you.

Speaker 5 (28:01):
The point of this is to save kids. We want
to prevent them from being victims of crime.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
Yeah, them and others as well. You'll see increased patrol.
You'll see city ambassadors. You'll also see the Ohio State
Patrol taking over the radar roots on seventy one.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
Be very very very careful.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
I saw them out there all day yesterday, in the
day before. All right, very quickly, lastly, in three Things
you need to Know, Kit Cutty sat down with Alex
s Cooper's call her Daddy.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
I had played a quick clip of this yesterday that
you know.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
He had said that, yes, I was asked to testify
for Cassie.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
I didn't want to. I ended up doing it. Here
he is atition. Only a lot of record deals are.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
So that's Taylor Swift talking about our masters, my apologies. Essentially,
he just went on to say I didn't want to,
but I had to do it because I needed to
support Cassie and I was also subpoened.

Speaker 3 (28:52):
That is three things you need to know.

Speaker 16 (28:54):
Good morning, you're waking up in the morning.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
Hi kiss, Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
Welcome back to Community Corner, where I introduce you to
the people, the places, and the things that make up Cincinnati,
and I have a chance for you to win a
free car. Now you might need this free car, or
better yet, you might be thinking to someone in your
life right now that could use a break. They might

(29:19):
be going through it and they come to you and
they tell you stories and they're like, I just don't
not I don't know what I'm gonna do. I need
to either fix my car, my car is broken, or
maybe it's total.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
But they've got kids, and I mean, any scenario works.

Speaker 14 (29:31):
Here.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
Let me introduce you to Dane Donovan and Donovan's. I'm
such a big fan of Donovans. I've gone there at
one million times. They're giving away a free car our.
Good morning, Dane, good morning, how are you? Thanks for
having me?

Speaker 3 (29:41):
I am good and I'm happy to have you.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
Like I said, I'm such a big fan and we
can I'll explain why in a minute here, But talk
to me a little bit about this Dunovan's Cares Car initiative.

Speaker 19 (29:52):
Yes, so this is the first year we're doing it,
and we wanted to we wanted to give back to
the community. You know, my grandfather started Donovan's back in
nineteen fifty eight.

Speaker 16 (30:04):
We've been around, we have you know.

Speaker 19 (30:05):
Multiple locations in the Cincinnati Tri state area. And but
you know, we wanted to we wanted to give back
a lot of times you and I talked, a lot
of these cars have the opportunity to have a second
life and get back out on the road. You know, sometimes,
you know, the owner of the vehicle just doesn't want
to put any any more money into it, you know,

(30:26):
per our conversation earlier, you know, sometimes you just get
to a breaking point where I just don't want to
put any more money into it. And we send a
lot of vehicles out that to the Junkyard they could
again get a second life and go back out on
the road and give somebody the opportunity to get to
work or home or pick the kids up from school.
So this was the first year that we took on
this initiative that we were going to find a great, reliable,

(30:49):
reputable car, which this year it's a twenty thirteen Subrew.
Oh nice, and so Subrew is a great brand, and
you know we're not paid doorspuying, but we just we
we thought it would be a great car for a
for a family, sure, and so we what we're doing
is again we were putting all the work into it,

(31:10):
whether it needs tires, brakes. In this case, it needed
an engine, so we've replaced the engine. We will make
sure that every inch of that car has gone through.
We're not just gonna put an engine in it and
just turn around, you know, right.

Speaker 16 (31:24):
We don't want to do that to anybody.

Speaker 19 (31:25):
We don't want to give somebody to a car that
just is going to have problems, you know, So we
want to make sure that everything is tip top, that
it is running at it's it's it's prime, so that
that that family member or teacher or nurse or whoever's
maybe down on their lock or just sure you know,
their maybe their car did break down and they can't
afford to fix it. So this is a great opportunity

(31:47):
for you to nominate the person in need of this
vehicle and and hopefully be able to get them back
out on the road so they can get to work
or have a break right.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Cut them some slack. Why did you guys start Dunnovin's Cares?
Was there did something come up like what was the
why on fixing a car and giving it for free
to a Cincinnati.

Speaker 19 (32:08):
And it was always It's always something that we talked
about and we just we just again, we talked about it,
but we just never took the steps to do it. Okay,
And we have a marketing team that we work with.
Uh they're a phenomenal group and they basically just kind.

Speaker 3 (32:25):
Of found a gap. There's a whole is a gap.

Speaker 19 (32:27):
Yeah, and they kind of held us our feet to
the fire and said, hey, we really think you need
to do this. So they've put it together, but they
just said, hey, you're gonna we're gonna do this and
we're gonna we're going to give back and uh, let's
do it.

Speaker 16 (32:40):
You know. Yeah, we do advertising whatnot.

Speaker 19 (32:43):
And there's there are times where we've helped the customer
out that maybe uh uh you know, maybe can't afford
a car repair them. You know, we'll we'll do the
best that we can to help them out. But this
is an initiative that is giving somebody the opportunity. I
mean again, it's it could be something where you know,
they're they're gonna lose their job and they're not they

(33:04):
don't know how they're going to be able to get
groceries or so.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
And we live in a city where you need a vehicle.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Yes, we have great public transit, sure, but you need
a vehicle.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
If you've got kids, you've got to get to work.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
We've all seen those stories about the so and so
who walks ten miles a day to get to where
they're going. If that someone is in your life, Donovanscars
dot com, you have twenty four hours to nominate someone
in your inner circle, maybe someone that you've met at random,
someone that needs a break and needs a free car.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
Why not nominate them today?

Speaker 13 (33:36):
Right?

Speaker 16 (33:36):
Correct?

Speaker 2 (33:37):
Absolutely, Dunovan's Cares dot com. I'm such a big fan.
The amount of times that I have walked from this
studio to the Dunovan's Blue Ash location when I had
to bust it up subrou mine was not a twenty thirteen,
it was a two thousand and four. I have gotten
that thing fixed a million times. You guys have great
customer service. I'm literally just a girl. So I had
a million questions about my car, and I never I

(33:58):
always felt safe. I always felt I always felt well
taken care of and that I was getting the right service. So,
outside of Donovan's Cares, I'm such a big fan of
your business.

Speaker 19 (34:06):
And well, we really really you know, we really do
appreciate it, and uh, you know, we do take pride
in what we do when your name is on the
on the sign, and you really have to make sure
that you're taking care of the customers because ultimately that's
what brings that's what brings everybody back.

Speaker 16 (34:21):
Making sure you treat everybody with respect and you.

Speaker 19 (34:24):
Do the absolute best that you can to help that
because you know, it's kind of like going to the dentist,
right you don't really want to be there, you don't
really want to spend the money.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
Maybe you gotta go. You've got the insurance, you gotta go. Uh,
Dave Well.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
Shout out to Chris by the way, who works at
the front desk at the Blue Ash location.

Speaker 3 (34:41):
He's always been super helpful.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Donovan's does have a Facebook page if you want to
check him out again. You have twenty four hours to
nominate a Cincinnati and or a Tri stater for a
free vehicle if they're in need at donovan'scres dot com.

Speaker 16 (34:54):
Thank you, Dane, Thank you very much. I appreciate you
having me. You're waking up with fifth in the morning.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
Kiss, good morning.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
So has your college roommate ever slept in a bail
of hay in their college dorm room?

Speaker 12 (35:07):
No?

Speaker 2 (35:08):
Oh, okay, Yeah, that probably not because that's not very
that's not very normal.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
That's not a normal thing to do.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
You're waking up a TIF in the morning and we're
in the midst of the daily debrief. I choose the
one biggest thing that we talked about in the four
hours of conversation that we get into every day. We
revisit it, giving you a chance to get caught up here.
And since Xavier's moving in today, I figured now's a
good time to touch base on some of our roommate
or neighbor stories.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
So that's what we're getting into.

Speaker 7 (35:35):
Yeah, I'm calling about my neighbor.

Speaker 17 (35:37):
The weirdest thing my neighbor does is cut his entire
lawn with just a weed whip. Do you know how
loud those things are? And also it takes forever, and
my dog hates the sound of a weed whip, so
my dog barks the entire time. It's just I don't
know why this guy doesn't buy a lawnmower, Like, what
the heck?

Speaker 3 (35:57):
Thank you for the talkback with Tip. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
I've never ever and maybe I'm just a girl, but
I've never ever heard of someone referred to a weed
whacker as a weed whip.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
A weed whip sounds like a vibe.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Search Kiss one seven one on the iHeart Radio app
if you two want to leave a talk back with Tiff.
The microphone is in the top right hand corner.

Speaker 15 (36:17):
Oh. So we have a nudist neighbor. Luckily he's you know,
through the trees. Like we don't see him too often.

Speaker 6 (36:26):
But.

Speaker 15 (36:28):
On many occasions we have caught him watering his plants naked.

Speaker 9 (36:35):
You know what.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
That just sounds That sounds very west side and that
also sounds very freeing as well. Something you don't make
me fine, Hey to reach his own get caught up
on the podcast today. We got into a lot, especially
some of the tailor breakdown stuff.

Speaker 3 (36:51):
If you want to check out any of.

Speaker 2 (36:52):
That, just search Tiff in the Morning on the free
iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 10 (36:57):
You're waking up with Kiss in the morning.

Speaker 13 (36:59):
Kiss.

Speaker 19 (36:59):
What else?

Speaker 3 (37:01):
How we do him? How are we doing? Today's Thursday?

Speaker 2 (37:05):
I mean, this part of the year is weird because
you're going back to school today, maybe yesterday, maybe not
until next week.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
But then come.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
Friday, you're like, okay, we're right back into summer mentality,
right at least through Labor Day.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
That's how I'm thinking.

Speaker 20 (37:22):
Yeah, okay, if I'm embarrassed, I just love to talk
back with like no information. But anyway, I'm Barbara from
Western Hills. I was wondering if you're going to the
Museum Center tonight. They're doing a twenty one and over
summer camp themed night. It seems like something that you
would like, and if you need someone to hang out with,
you're welcome to hang out with my friends and I

(37:43):
will be there. Can't wait.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
That was so kind of you for one even thinking
of me, and two allowing me to enter your inner circle.
I mean that no greater gift, no greater honor. Thank
you for the talkback with TIF. You two can contribute
on whatever you want. The microphones and the hop right
hand corner of the iHeartRadio app. I'm the only one
that checks them, so they come essentially directly to me.

(38:06):
I you know, when I saw posting about that, my
good galfriend Natalie Jones. I think Natalie is going to
be there tonight, so when you go, you have to
say hi and tell her. I said, Hi, I don't
I have field hockey tonight, so I don't think I'll
be making it to the summer camp.

Speaker 3 (38:22):
If you didn't know this, I'm a high.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
School field hockey coach and the girls that I coached
their first day of school was today, so shout out
to Ursuline. They're already in class at this point in
the morning, but no I won't be there. Thank you
for thinking of me, and you have to check back
in with me tomorrow and let me know how it was.
In fact, check in with me on Instagram at the
TIF to F's Potter like the Wizard.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
I hope you have a wonderful day.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
Our show is back tomorrow starting at six am and
you will have a chance to win twenty
