Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're waking up fifth in the morning. Kiss one.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
I was seven one, Hi, good morning. Not much to
report on, nothing special really going on, other than I
think we can both agree that September is just a really,
really busy month, and the weeks tend to blend together,
(00:23):
and we're already more than halfway through September twenty twenty five.
I saw one of those countdown memes that said there
were one hundred days until Christmas a couple of days ago,
So I bet we're nearing one hundred days before twenty
twenty six shows up. And when you reflect like forward,
(00:45):
you're I don't even know if you can reflect for
but when you think forward, you're like, oh, twenty twenty
eight feels so far away, but it's really not.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
And then when you think back, you're like, oh, like.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Twenty twenty two even it feels like a lifetime time ago,
and it really wasn't It was like two and a
half years ago.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Something is different these days when with time passing there's.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
A lot going on.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
I know you've probably got school, sports and school and
routines and wherever, whatever phase of life you're in, there
have been a lot of events here in Cinci with
the Bengals back home concerts happening. Twenty one pilots are
going to be in Cincinnati tonight for what I think
is probably one of the final, big, big, big outdoor.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
Concerts that we'll talk about of the year.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
And so if you haven't had a chance to get
into one yet, might this is it? This is it
coming up at eight thirty, Okay, And as you go
about the rest of your morning, search Kiss one O
seven one on the iHeartRadio app. Speaking of the Bengals,
Joe Burrow was miked up for the first home game
of the season. I'll have that before the big toe
injury and more coming up next. Good Morning, when you
(01:54):
need to know She's got you, It's three things with
tiff On Kiss Good Morning. Jimmy Kimmel was suspended indefinitely
from his late night show. I'll get to that in
a hot second. We're just before seven o'clock on the
eighteenth of September. It is gonna feel hot today, almost
ninety degrees with sunshine. It's that handshake between summer and fall.
(02:16):
This weekend looks good. Sunday, some clouds move in. Octoberfest
is going to beautiful.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
All right.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Before we get to Jimmy Kimmel, let's start off with
Jake Browning chit chatting about this weekend's game. You can
tell that this man does not like being considered a
backup quarterback.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
It was really hard to study, really hard for seventeenth
straight games and not play like at all, just fighting
human nature every week. I feel like, convince yourself, all right,
I'll be prepared because if I get thrown in there,
like I am what I put on tape, I'm not
coming into this is like a high draft pick that's
got this long runway or anything like that. Like I
gotta be prepared. And so now it's like you take
out the guest work and you just know, like you're
(02:51):
playing on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Here we go this coming Sunday against the Vikings. One
o'clock away. Second, and three things you need to know
this morning. Jimmy Kimmel was pulled indefinitely from his late
night show over some comments he made about Charlie Kirk
on Monday. Here's a clip of the incident if you
haven't seen it or heard it.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
Create some mill lows over the weekend with the Magga
Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie
Kirk as anything other than one of them, and everything
they can to score political points from it.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Here's the chair of the FCC.
Speaker 6 (03:24):
I mean, look, we can do this the easy way
or the hard way. These companies can find ways to
change conduct, to take action frankly on Kimmel, or you know,
there's gonna be additional work for the FCC.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
Head FCC is not happy.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
The Writer's Guild of America is saying that it stands
with Jimmy Kimmel, as you know, for freedom of speech.
When there's more on that one, I'll have it for you.
And but as of right now, Jimmy Kimmel is suspended indefinitely.
And then, lastly, in three Things You Need to Know
this morning, Cardi B. Is talking about the album Rollout
if you miss this show yesterday, late in the show,
(04:01):
she had announced that she is expecting her fourth baby,
the first with her boyfriend Stephan Diggs.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Here's a clip of the announcement. Well, yes i am.
Speaker 7 (04:11):
I'm having a baby with my boyfriend Stefan Day.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
This will be his second and her fourth.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
She's got the first three with offset and she and
the announcement is coming right after the tour announcement and
the album announcement.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
And here's what she wants you to know about that.
Speaker 7 (04:27):
And on February eleventh, it will be the first day of.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
My tour, little miss Drama.
Speaker 7 (04:34):
And let me tell you something. I want to let
you know what what has spaced.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
I'm in.
Speaker 7 (04:38):
I want this shit, real fucking man, I want this shop.
I'm on the third floor in the Bronx and I
needed to go on out.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
She is just working. So the new album comes out
tonight at midnight. I will have it for your new
music Friday tomorrow. That is three things you need to
know for the eighteenth of September.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Good morning, you're waking up fifth in the morning.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
Kiss, good morning.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
If you could choose three people to sit down for
dinner with, who would it be? Maybe Toburrow, you to
go with Belly and Conrad. I know the Summer I
Turned Pretty had its finale last night, and I don't
watch the show because I don't have Amazon Prime, but
I heard the scene in the stairwell went well.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
I'll leave it at that.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
The reason why we're talking about this is because Julia
Roberts did something for People magazine and she was asked,
who are the seven people that you would want at
a dinner party? Seven feels too aggressive for Tiff in
the morning at this hour. So I'm going to ask
you for your top three, and I want you to
talk back with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app. The microphone
(05:38):
is in the top right hand corner. Here are her seven.
Speaker 8 (05:42):
Seven's a lot of people storry with my husband because
that would just make it great.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
For some reason, I don't know why. I'm thinking.
Speaker 8 (05:49):
Jesus a good one, right, Okay, So I have Danny
and I have Jesus, Joni.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Mitchell, Wow, Virginia Woolf. That's four. Okay, do you want
to come.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
I'll love to come back.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
I'm not smart, but you won't. No, well, none of
us are. But that's why she's there. Let's hit Van
Morrison in there. Right, we're in a pub.
Speaker 8 (06:07):
The last one would be my best friend from high
school page.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
I feel like that's a that's a cool that's a
very vast list. So I want to know who is
going to be in your top three. You don't necessarily
have to have seven. That feels like a lot, But
if you want to have anywhere from three to five.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
I want to hear from you.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Talk back with Tiff on the I Heard app, but
the microphone's in the top right hand corner. You can
also call me at five win three seven four nine,
one oh seven one and we'll compare our lists.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Because you're waking up with fifth in the morning, HUNKI,
good morning.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
If you could sit down for dinner with three people
in Cincinnati, dead a live, friends, family, celebrity, athlete, who
would you choose? We're starting with you, good morning. You're
on the air, so I.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Was kind of thinking Donald Trump.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Okay, and then you have to have two more Miranda, thanks,
and Ariana Grande.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Oh that's a good one. What's your name? What neighborhood
you waking up with me in?
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Charlotte, Charlotte. That was quite the list, Miranda sings.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Hey, So the reason why we're talking about this, if
you're just walking into the conversation for maybe the first
time today, come on in sit down a hangout. I
came across a video of Julia Roberts being asked by
People magazine, Hey, who would you want and a dinner party?
And she rattled off some names, you know, her friend
and her husband. Then she was like, Jesus, I'd love
for him to come and sit down and hang out.
(07:33):
So try to widen your imagination. Don't panic or overthink it.
Just talk back with TIF. Actually, let me check. I
don't think we've gotten a single talk back on it yet,
so you might be the first one to do so.
Microphone is in the top right hand corner. I got one.
I got one, and we're going to run through it
right now here we go.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Let's see, I.
Speaker 9 (07:53):
Had all the fields this morning. I had to think
about it for a minute, and I told you to
Pan would be my mother in law. Okay, never met
any of her grandkids, So my mother in law and
all of her grandkids, that's who I would invite.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
Happy Thursday, you too, my gal.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
Thanks for sharing that with me. I bet that would
be a sweet family moment. I am such a hypocrite
because I was like, well, don't overthink it, and then
of course I was overthinking it, like this is actually
gonna happen. So what I did is I went over
to my trusty friend chat GPT and I said, Hey,
based off of what you know about me, who do
you think I would want to sit down with dinner
(08:30):
for dinner, and let's see if they the same ones
come up in my head as it.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
Comes to hers. Dude, they almost got it completely right.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
They said Taylor Swift, Joe Burrow, and Sabrina Carpenter would
have been my top three based off of all the
things that I talked to chat GPT about.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
I don't know if I could.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Handle Taylor and Joe at the same dinner.
Speaker 10 (08:50):
You know, I have a lot of respect for what
Taylor Swift has done with her career. I can't say
that I'm listening to too much Taylor Swift on the
speakers in the.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Headphones, right, and I can't be in the middle of
drama at my dinner party.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
We just can't be doing that.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Sabrina Carpenter is the number one person I think I
would want at a dinner. I feel like she's got
good vibes. I feel like it'd be good time. I
think there's a lot of pressure if Joe Burrow and
Taylor Swift are at your dinner, So I would say Taylor,
Sabrina and then Samantha Jones from Sex and the City
are the ones that are coming top of mind. I
also asked chat GPT what type of dinner setting would
(09:25):
fit my vibe? And get this it said, rooftop patio
in downtown Cincy or overlooking the river stream likes skyline
views and just enough wow factor for photos, a good
mix of small plates to share, fun conversation starters. The
vibe will be a casual glam dressed up enough to
feel special, but not so formal that you can't laugh
loud or dance a little, I mean, come on. And
(09:48):
then the music a curated playlist rather of pop culture
and R and B nostalgia. It knows me so well,
all right, we still have time. Do you want to
get in on this conversation?
Speaker 6 (09:58):
You know?
Speaker 3 (09:58):
Might as well.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
It's free. Start your day off on the right foot.
Here with TIF in the morning. Who are your top
three you'd want to do dinner with? Good morning, You're
waking up with TIF in the morning on a kiss
one seven to one, still commercial free. I know for
a fact that Ian is listening right now, and I
appreciate that more than you know. Thanks for checking in
on the iHeartRadio app. You two can do the same.
(10:19):
Who are the top three people?
Speaker 3 (10:21):
And don't overthink it and don't panic that you would
want to sit down for dinner with in Cincinnati Dead
a live family, celebrity athlete who.
Speaker 9 (10:33):
My top three would be Donald Trump, Charlie Kirk, and.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Candith Owens.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Well, that would certainly be quite the meal. Thank you
for the talkback with TIF. The microphone is in the
top right hand corner of the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
No answer is wrong. Speaking of Charlie Kirk said, Jimmy
Kimmel got fired last night.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
I'll talk about that in three Things. You need to
know Two songs from now, I said Sabrina Carpenter, Samantha Jones,
and Taylor Swift.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
My vibe might be a little different.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Lynn, you need to know She's got you. It's three
things with TIF on kiss when I was seven one.
Speaker 6 (11:14):
I mean, look, we can do this the easy way
or the hard way. These companies can find ways to
change conduct, to take action frankly on Kimmel or you
know there's gonna be additional work for the FCC.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Ahead, all right.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
That was the chair of the FCC chatting about Jimmy Kimmel.
Are give me a hot sec we'd just before eight o'clock.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
On the eighteenth of September.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
One of your last chances to get into twenty one
pilots tonight at TQL Stadium is coming up at eight thirty.
All right, So is a big topic of conversation I
think amongst group texts and family and friends, co workers.
Jimmy Kimmel got I wouldn't say fired. The language that
they're using is suspended indefinitely for his late night show
(11:57):
on some of the comments that he made about the
passing of Charlie Kirk or that I should say the
murder rather of Charlie Kirk on Monday night. If you
haven't heard the comments yet, allow me to play just
a twelve second clip for you.
Speaker 5 (12:09):
He hit some new lows over the weekend with the
Magga Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered
Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and
everything they can to score political points from it.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
So I think the conversation is, you know, ebbing and
flowing this morning amongst people who believe that this is
a reason to fire him, and a reason to believe
to not fire him. I wanted to make sure that
you had the facts at least so you can make
an informed decision. Next Star thinks that broadcasters should push
back on Disney programming that doesn't meet community values. And
(12:47):
the Writers Guild of America thinks that Jimmy Kimmel should
not have been fired. They are standing alongside him, and
I think that everyone is just trying to figure out
where they fit in in this world at this point.
By the way, this comes two months after CBS has
ended as Stephen Colbert's show, which many saw as a
punishment for criticizing Trump. I'll leave it there for now,
(13:08):
but I wanted to make sure you at least heard
the audio this morning. Second and three things you need
to know. Cardi B's got the new album coming out.
She announced yesterday her pregnancy on a CBS with Gail King.
Gail King got the exclusive she's having a baby with
Stefan Diggs. Could she be in Cincinnati two times in
six months? The woman's I don't think it's ever been here,
(13:30):
but she wants to support him more while he plays,
and he's a new England Patriot player. They play the
Bengals the Sunday heading into Thanksgiving. Then she's going out
on tour in March, coming to Heritage.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
On the nineteen.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
And you may be thinking, hey, well, if you're about
to have a baby, are you ready to go out
on tour?
Speaker 3 (13:48):
Here she is, I want to see real fucking mad.
Speaker 7 (13:51):
I want this shot like I'm on the third floor
in the Bronx and I needed to go on out.
That's how bad I wanted. I want it like this
two and sixteen.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
She had also gone on to say that she owes
this to herself, she owes this to her fans, and
she was very committed, especially on video last night, and
we have no idea what will come in the future,
but she was very committed to saying, listen, I am
going to work hard as soon as this baby comes
and here we go. I feel like her label and
Live Nation have been very supportive. I think a lot
(14:21):
of people are excited for Cardi b here.
Speaker 11 (14:23):
She is My label and Live Nation asked me like, hey,
are you sure you want to put out this album
in September? You could put it, well, put it in December,
you could put it next year and stuff like that,
and I was like, no, I'm going to put it
in September.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
She wants to do it, am I.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
The drama comes out at midnight, you know, I'll have
it for your new music Friday. Lastly, and three things
you need to know this morning. Jake Browning does.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
Not like be in a backup quarterback. The man is ready.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
So now it's like you take out the guest work
and you just know, like you're playing on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Here we go, we get ready away against the Vikings
at one o'clock. That is three things you need to
know for the eighteenth of September. Good morning, Good morning.
I'm a little late on chat with you in our
eight o'clock hour. I usually talk right around I don't know,
eight ten ish, but I got distracted by all of
your talkbacks. You're waking up a tif in the morning
on Kiss one O seven one. We've gotten dozens of them.
(15:16):
Very rarely does a conversation from our seven o'clock hour
bleed into our eight o'clock hour.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
I like to move on to something else, but I haven't.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
Been able to filter through all of them. I had
asked you, by the way, if you're just walking into
the combo for the very first time, I had asked, hey,
if you were to choose three people dead alive, celebrity, athlete,
whatever to sit down and have dinner with here in Cincinnati.
Who are you choosing?
Speaker 12 (15:44):
Good morning to listen to you every morning.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Thank you.
Speaker 11 (15:49):
My top three to have dinner with will be Christiano Ronaldo,
Sama Hyatt and Shakira.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
It Dursday, you too, Thank you for the talk back
with Tim.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
The microphone's in the top RAYHNT corner if you want
to hold that down. You two can be a part
of the show today for free.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
Be a part of the TIFF community. I'd love to
have Yeah. Not only would that dinner be funny, throwing
a little tequila, we'll be singing. We'll also be dancing
and sweating.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
When I had asked chat GPT, who uh what dinner
setting would suit my personality best? They said, well, obviously
a rooftop and since you would twinkle lights some light bites,
and then you would want the outfits to be somewhat
special so you feel good about yourself, but not so
uncomfortable that you can't laugh or dance and sweat.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
And I said, man, do you know me or what?
Speaker 1 (16:45):
You know?
Speaker 2 (16:45):
What? Why don't we just continue the conversation. I'll tell
you who are in my top three coming up in
a couple of minutes. Why don't you contribute as well?
While you're here. Microphone is in the top RIGHTHNT corner,
and we'll just go ahead and make top three the
phrase you're gonna need to win the tour one pilot
tickets coming up at eight thirty. I heard the line
started at TQL Stadium last night, and I have one
(17:06):
final chance for you to get into that show coming
up in about ten or so minutes with the keyword
top three. You're waking up in the morning, kiss and
a few minutes you're gonna have a chance to win
twenty one pilots tickets with the key phrase top three.
I had asked, who are the top three people dead
a live family, friend, celebrity, athlete that you would want
(17:28):
to sit down and have dinner with.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
Good morning tip.
Speaker 13 (17:31):
This is Haley waking up on the East side. Selfishly,
I would pick Drake justin Bieber in Central Seam I
but unselfishly I would pick my husband and my wife.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
To talk with.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
My husband's grandpa, who.
Speaker 13 (17:46):
Passed away was really important to my husband and he
never got to meet our kids, so I would also
have my two children there.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
Okay, thank you for the talkback with TIF. I need
a second to process that because I understood the beeber
the drake and the sea, but did you say my
husband and my wife? And if that's the case, girl,
good for you. The reason why we're talking about this
is because.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
I came across a video of Julia Roberts and they
had asked her, Hey, who are the seven people you
would wanted a dinner party? Seven's too much for Cincinnati.
This morning, I was panicking with just the thought of
three h I asked chat GPT, based on what you
know about me, well, who do you think? And it
came up with a list that I thought was very
(18:31):
close to what I would have chosen. Sabrina Carpenter, Joe Burrow,
and Taylor Swift.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
I don't know if I can do Joe and Taylor.
Speaker 10 (18:38):
A lout of respect for what Taylor Swift has done
with her career. I can't say that. I'm listening to
too much Taylor Swift on the speakers and the.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Headphones, and I was thinking to myself, well, I can't
have drama at my dinner party, I mean at my
fake dinner party.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
So I can't have Joe and Taylor. Then I would
have Sabrina Carpenter.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
I think Taylor would be great, but there might be
a lot of pressure with that one, so Ariana Grande
kind of fits more of my vibe. And Samantha Jones
from Sex and the City. All right, we've got time
for more. Who else wants to hop in on this conversation,
Let's go.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Hey, tif, good morning from the Cole Beer guy.
Speaker 10 (19:11):
Three people at my table would be probably Brett Michaels,
Paul Walker and of course Eminem.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Oh yeah, I figured with that you love Eminem. It
was a good one. Who else?
Speaker 13 (19:24):
I would love to have a dinner in Cincinnati with
Steph Galdro, Jade Warshaw and the one and only Jeff Potter.
What it would be fun and energizing and empowering.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Girl. Have a great day.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
You two. That made my day. Gal, we don't have
I mean to forget the other two. Me and you
can go out.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
For drinks, dinner, or walk a yoga class, whatever you
want anytime. You know me, I do anything with anyone anywhere, anytime.
That's like my m for the show. So you just
shoot me a DM. I'd be happy to get dinner
with you.
Speaker 13 (20:00):
This is Kara from Milford and I would have Minley Cyrus,
Lady Gaga and Megan Fox.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
What girl power? Yeah, that'd be a good one. These
are these are good. You know what makes me panic
about this, though, is that I hear someone else's list
and I'm like, oh, man, like I wish it would
have thought of that, Tiffany, This is not real. This
is just for the radio this morning, so don't overthink it.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
You can contribute.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
You have a few more minutes to do, so coming up,
let's do it right after Miles Smith. I'll get you
the tickets to twenty one pilots, so maybe you two
can go wait in line at TQL Stadium this morning.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
I heard it was long.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
You're waking up with tiff in the morning on Kiss
one O seven one did morning.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
I'm hoping you have a keyword for me.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
I do Top three.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Congratulations, you're collar ten. You're going to twenty one pilots.
Speaker 9 (20:47):
Oh that's amazing, Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
Congratulations.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Gal.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
What's your name? What neighborhood you waking up with me?
Speaker 1 (20:53):
And yeah, my name is Olivia.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
I'm waking up in Hebron Olivia.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
Are you a fan of Top Absolutely? I'm so excited
for tonight's show. I'm really glad that you were able
to get in last minute. Thank you for listening to
Tiff in the morning.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Yeah, absolutely every morning.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
I appreciate that we were just chit chatting about the
top three people you don't have dinner with.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
Do you have an answer for me?
Speaker 1 (21:13):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (21:13):
I do.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
Robin William, Robert Downey Junior, and Jennifer Aniston.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
Those are a that's a great combo. Okay, that was
good for a few minutes. Yeah, I told you not.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
To panic, but it's one of those that definitely generates thought.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
It does, it does well.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Congratulations on taking the last pair of twenty one pilots tickets.
You know I'll have something for you next week. Don't
you worry about it. Okay, we do something usually every
day around eight thirty. Feel free to contribute to the conversation.
I would love to have you. Maybe this is your
first time talking back with Tiff. The voice notes come
directly to me. The microphone's in the top right hand
(21:49):
corner of the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
You know you've always got a friend in me. It's
just me. It's just me in this little box every night.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Coming up in a couple of minutes, we'll dive into
the three things you need to know to get your
days started in Sincy. I think we'll talk Cardi B.
I think we'll talk Miley Saras. I think there's a
chance that we talk about Jake Browning had a lot
of things to get to this morning, So be a
part of the show.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
When you need to know She's got you. It's three
things with tip Well, good morning.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
I think there's a really good chance that Cardi B
could be in Cincinnati two times and the next six months.
Give me a second. Get to that here in a
minute or just before nine o'clock. Temperatures are going to
be in the eighties, feeling more like ninety today with sunshine,
and that'll last through the weekend, but we might see
scattered showers by Sunday. All right, before we get to Belcalese,
let's start off with just like it in general wrap
(22:42):
up of the things happening in our city. Because September
doesn't sleep or stop. This independent film festival kicks off
tonight at Memorial Hall that'll take us through the weekend October.
October Fest Cincinnati starts tonight through the weekend down at
Sawyer Point for the second year in a Row. I
loved it there last year, so I'm looking forward to that. Sarah,
(23:03):
Elisa and I are hosting the Running of the Wiener
Dogs tomorrow at noon. If you can get out of
work early, you should come. There's gonna be weenies all
over my story.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
So if you can't come, check me out on Instagram.
Reds versus the.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Cubs in town this weekend, one of the final fireworks
Fridays of the season. There's also a couple of brewery
races happening this weekend. And then, oh, if you thought
maybe there's a chance that I was gonna take a
little napski on Sunday and watch some football. Well, although
the Bengals are away, the City Fleet is happening at
Washington Park on Sunday as well, so we.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
Have Zoomny Evings to.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
Look forward to him. All right, Second, and three things
you need to know. This morning, we got a new
album from Cardi on the way at midnight. It's called
I Am the Drama. You know, she had announced the
tour and right after that announced that yes, her and
Stefan Diggs are having a baby together.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
It'll be his second and it'll be her fourth.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
She's got the first three with Offset, and it's a
lot to take on a new baby and a tour,
but she wants people to know that she is ready.
Speaker 7 (24:13):
This is the hard.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
Part for me.
Speaker 7 (24:15):
I've been working up at six am and going up
to bed at two am. After this this album album,
one's straight to exercising. It's straight to dance classes. When
the baby come out, my body will be loose and
straight rehearsals with all my dances. I'm not playing. I
owe this to myself and I owe this to my fans.
(24:35):
They've been waiting for such a long time.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
And I think that people really are supporting her in
the industry and beyond.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
I saw that who posted in let me pull it
up here?
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Young Thug said, y'all know I wasn't dropping an album
on Friday.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
It's a lady's day, do your saying?
Speaker 2 (24:53):
Cardi B and I thought that was great her album
and I'm sorry her record label and Live Nation are
supporting her through this.
Speaker 11 (25:01):
My label and Live Nation asked me like, hey, are
you sure you want to put out this album in September?
You could put it, well, put in December, you could
put it next year and stuff like that, And I
was like, No, I'm gonna put it in September. Everything's
going to be on plan. Live Nation was like, hey,
you can move it towards summer or any day.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
I'm right.
Speaker 11 (25:21):
No, I'm going to tour in.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
February, so she's gonna be here March nineteenth for that tour.
Speaker 3 (25:29):
I'll have the album a part of New Music Friday tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
And I had mentioned that I think she might be
here twice this year, and the reason being is because
she wants to support Stephan Diggs while he plays. He
plays for the New England Patriots. The Patriots play the
Bengals at home again this year the Sunday before Thanksgiving,
So could we get Cardi b twice, Let's hope.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
And I am.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
I'm rooting for her. You know, listen, the woman's had
three kids already. She knows her body better than anyone else.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
And then lastly, in three Things you Need to Know
this morning, we're here from coach zt On Jake Browning
for this Sunday's game.
Speaker 14 (26:05):
That's why they're here because they're good at operating what
we're doing and we've tried to format it around Joe.
And now you make a a few tweaks. If it's
things that Joe Jake feels like he's better at, YEP,
certain areas that he wants to step into, then we're
more than willing to do that.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
So here we go.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
We're gonna play the Vikings Sunday away. That is three
things you need to know to get your day started
here in Sincy. A reminder to come back to Tiff
in the morning tomorrow, because not only will I have
the new music Friday with Cardi, We're gonna have the
deluxe version of Miley Cyrus's album.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
And the reason why I'm holding my breath on that.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
One is because I think the fan theory about her
doing the Super Bowl halftime show is very valid. And
if we get that album tomorrow and then maybe an announcement,
I don't know I've been wrong about this, so don't
hold your breath, all right? That is three things. Like
I said, I appreciate you, stop and buy the show
coming up at nine to twenty. There have always been
(26:59):
known to two personality types, introvert and extrovert, but now
there's a third one in the mix, and I bet
you might relate to it.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
We'll get to that. Good morning.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
You're waking up with Tip in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one. Sarah at least and I were
just chit chatting about all the things that are happening
in Sincy this weekend and like where do you park,
and like who's doing what? What's going on here? What's
going on there? If there's anything.
Speaker 15 (27:22):
In Oh my, Mic went flaccid? Were we good?
Speaker 9 (27:26):
Now?
Speaker 2 (27:28):
If I have to park somewhere, usually I park in
the lot that's near Rosedale and say so and over
in the Pendleton side, and I would.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
Rather wa stadium.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
Yeah, sorry, I got distracted with the flaccid mic. If
I was like twenty one pilots tonight, I'll probably park
there And I would rather walk like a half a
mile than sit in traffic or pay for expensive parking.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
But that's just me.
Speaker 12 (27:52):
Yeah, I always get stressed out when there is a
parking situation. Like I love it when somebody invites me
with something and there is a lot, a lot dream
to pay for. Like if you invite me to Applebee's,
I'm like, huh.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
So where I know the people's call.
Speaker 15 (28:09):
It's not a parking issue.
Speaker 12 (28:10):
But yeah, if you are headed to if you're not
headed to Appleby's Night and you are going to twenty
one pilots.
Speaker 15 (28:16):
I love the Finley Garage.
Speaker 12 (28:19):
Now you got to pay a little bit for it,
but I feel like you're in a good spot.
Speaker 15 (28:24):
It's easy to get to. You can buy the pass
in advance.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
You just got to deal with traffic getting in and out.
But that changed that area. Having that garage just changed
the Finley area used to be a nightmare.
Speaker 12 (28:36):
Yeah, that's where to garage for FCC and any sort
of event going on at Tiquel Stadium.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
Where are you parking for Octoberfest?
Speaker 15 (28:44):
I usually park at the arena at Heritage Bank.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
Yeah, and that's how you get over.
Speaker 12 (28:50):
I think that'll be I think that'll work out mostly
for people because it is right there along the river.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
Well, don't forget, we do have lots of shuttle bus
and I don't want to say lots, but there are
different metro buses and Tank is doing They usually do
their parking ride shuttles as well. If you don't feel
like driving down there and drinking like a million october
Fest beers and then driving home, that's probably smart, right.
Speaker 12 (29:13):
Yeah, And keep in mind, you know with Octoberfest going on,
yep on top of that, with as busy as Octoberfest is,
you've got the Reds back in town and they've got
a four game series. The entire time Octoberfest is going on,
They're taking on the Cubs and that brings out a
lot of people, not just in Cincinnati, but Cubs fans
tend to travel, So starting tonight all the way through Sunday,
(29:36):
it's just one of those weekends in Cincinnati where.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
No one sleeps and Washington Park has city Flee on
Sunday Independent Film Festival like September, stays wide awake.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
And alert Sarah, I'm still happening.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
Yeah, Sarah, Alisa and I are hosting the Wiener Dog
Race tomorrow, so make sure.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
You come check us out. At twelve.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
You're waking up with Tims in the morning.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
Gone kiss one, good morning.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
Don't forget that Dent school House is trying to spookify
your house. Go to Kiss Cincinnati dot com under the
contest page, send some pictures and drop your name into
the running to win some money from Dent Schoolhouse to really.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
Up the ante with the yard game this year.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
I'll tell you a neighbor of mine has a twelve
foot skeleton and the horror that I was feeling when
they put it up, Like September one, it was a
kind of jarring to walk out of my house and
get ready to go to work early for the show.
I mean, it's before five o'clock in the morning and
I see a giant skeleton with lit up eyes, lit
(30:41):
up eyeballs.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
At that hour, it was jarring. I've gotten I've since
gotten used to it.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
You know, every year there's something new that trends for Halloween.
And maybe this is a conversation that we'll have tomorrow
morning on the show. If you contribute now, I'll save
it for tomorrow. But there's this viral Halloween bucket from
Home Depot that people are going nutso over. If you
have one, will you send me a picture of it?
If you know what I'm talking about, will you either
(31:07):
shoot me a DM or talk back with Tiff. I'm
at the Tiff two F's Potter like the Wizard. I
hope you have a great day. I hope to see
you at twenty one Pilots tonight. I was just going
through all their music in the last twenty four hours
or so. I'm really really looking forward to it, and
of course we'll debrief all of that tomorrow when you
get up with Tiff in the morning. I hope you
have a great day, enjoy this summer like weather.
