Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up in the morning, kiss on good morning.
The top five things to do in twenty twenty five?
How many times are we going to say that this year?
But on how to boost your mood? I figured that
this is gonna match up perfectly with the timing of
just dipping our toe into the wool of the new year.
(00:21):
Oh wow, it just came in real hot, you know,
twenty twenty five. I'm not even gonna I'm just gonna
tell you right at the bat. It has a lot
to do with your phone. If you want to boost
your mood first thing in the morning, you might as
well take your phone and toss it in the trash.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
I don't know, I get it. Emails come right away immediately.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Social media, first thing you do is start scrolling your phone.
I tried to be so cognizant of that while I
was taking some time off. I would wake up and
instead of immediately grabbing my phone to start prepping for
the show or scroll social media, I was like, read
a book, tif get out, you know, put your phone away.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
So that did come up in the top five ways
to boost your mood in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
Has a lot to do with your phone, get it
out of your room in the morning if you can.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
It's an alarm for.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Me as well, So you just kind of have to
manage that, manage your expectations. Number two, incorporate gratitude.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
It works, It really does.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
And if you practice gratitude, whether that's in your car
with a couple of deep breaths, or you like, you know,
sit down and write. How many of you put vision
boarding or manifesting.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Manifesting was such a big word last year. I have it.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
I bet I'll have some carry over into this year.
How many of you had put like journaling and writing
more on your to do list for twenty twenty five.
Gratitude's a great one to start with, just writing down
what you're grateful for.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
I'm a big brain dump person. I have several journals.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
In fact, my neighbor and I sat down last night
and came up with the top fifty things we want
to do in twenty twenty five in Cincinnati. Some of
them were like silly, some of them I think we'll
go through. You travel landed on that list for me.
Maybe we'll spend some time on that later on. Not
to take up too much of yours this morning, but
travel is one explore Cincinnati. I want to explore more
(02:02):
of our own neighborhoods here, you know what I'm saying, Like,
I want to go to those like little dive bars
and restaurants and the ones that you drive by a
million times that you've never been in.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
That was on my list this year. All right, I've
kind of gotten off on a tangent.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
If you're just walking into this, good morning, it's been
a couple of days since you and I have connected.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Happy January second, twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Search Kiss on iHeartRadio and then talk back with Tiff.
I'd love to hear your voice. You hold down that microphone.
It's right next to the play button. Okay, pick a
wellness habit and link it to a morning ritual that
you already have. Oooh. I think that kind of goes
in line with waking up and maybe meditating and journaling
and reading, etc.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Not looking at your phone. I just think take the
pressure off yourself. That's a good way to boost your mood.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
You know what, forget whoever did this research BuzzFeed, Take
the pressure off yourself. You're in a good position, you're
in a good place, You're doing the right, things all right?
Commercial free right now here on Kiss one oh seven one,
and we will be for the rest of the hour.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Don't go far. Ok, Hi, good morning.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
You're waking up with Tif in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one, commercial free here in our seven
o'clock hour, just slowly dipping our toes into the water
of twenty twenty five.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Not a rush. Don't overthink it, don't stress out about it.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
It's been a couple of days since you and I connected,
So talk back with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
What's going on?
Speaker 3 (03:28):
Tiff joked?
Speaker 4 (03:29):
I have a question for you.
Speaker 5 (03:30):
What was your most favorite Christmas gift that she received
this year?
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Thank you for the TBT.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
When you search Kiss on the app, you'll see the
microphone next to the play button. You can hold that down.
You have thirty seconds to really talk about whatever it
is you want. Christmas feels like seventeen lifetimes ago. But
I didn't exchange any gifts this year, and if I did,
it was just my go to, which is I usually
pick up a couple of plants or propagated ones. But
(03:58):
I don't exchange gifts and I haven't in a long time.
Sarah Elise. You guys know, it's a friend of the circle,
friend of the inner circle here on the show.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
You got me a gift. Did you expect something back?
Speaker 6 (04:10):
No, I don't really ever expect anything back. Okay, but
I do love like a good white elephant. Yeah, my
family and I did that on Christmas Day and it
was a ton of fun. Everyone had the same kind
of idea, like do something that's gonna make you laugh.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
The white elephant I played this year was unhinged, like
these are rules that I had never experienced in my life.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Oh like what, Yeah, it was. We had dice. Dice
were involved with the game. There's always someone in the
family nice and.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
You guys know, I celebrate tiffmus So. I was at
someone else's house. But there's always someone in someone's family
that loves games. Are you a games gal?
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Yes, My family a lot of games and I love it.
Oh my god, I love it.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
If I can't get the rules within five seconds, I'm out.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
I'm not participating. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
Usually it's just like I learn as the game goes.
Speaker 6 (05:00):
Yes, we do the white elephant, apples, apples, all kind
of trivia stuff.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
It's fun.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
You can always count on Sarah for a good time.
Speaking of, let's do the New Year's Eve debrief in
the one thing I never ever want to do again
on New Year's Eve coming up, let's do it next.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, kiss one
seven one.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
This is a good chance that this might be the
very first voice that you're hearing today. Happy New Year,
January twenty twenty five.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
We made it.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
We're slowly dipping our toes into the water here, no rush.
So if you're a little overwhelmed with the thought of
maybe getting back into a regular routine, don't you worry.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
We'll take good care of you here. Good morning, Sarah, Yes,
good morning.
Speaker 6 (05:40):
And it is Thursday, by the way, in case anybody
needed to hear that, it feels very much like a Monday,
but it's not.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
It's Friday Eve.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
I want to debrief New Year's Eve and the one
thing that I never want to do ever again on
New Year's Eve. Yes, and that's make an Instagram recap reel.
Oh my god, that was a nightmare.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Why even put the time in?
Speaker 2 (06:08):
We already know what everybody did.
Speaker 6 (06:11):
No, I spend no time doing any of that. I'm like,
you know what, I could put something together. I'm not
gonna lie. I don't watch anybody's Instagram.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Real twenty twenty four things. I don't watch them, you know.
Speaker 6 (06:22):
I'm like, I've been following you for years. I know
what you did in twenty twenty four. If I want
to see what you did, I'll go back and look
at your Instagram and scroll for about ten seconds with
the flip of a thumb.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
I don't watch anybodies. I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Okay, that makes me feel a lot better because my
twenty twenty four recap that I spend so much time
on is just still sitting in my drafts.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
I haven't even uploaded it yet.
Speaker 6 (06:45):
And don't don't put any more time into that. We're
moving forward. We know you've had an awesome year. Okay, okay, okay,
thanks to you. Thank God. If you are a visual person.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Though, at the tiff to F's Potter like the Wizard,
I took all of the hop tiny mic moments from
the year we relived, the top Show moment, the time
that I drove topless down seventy one.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
North, like, all of that is up there for you
to catch up on.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
That's worth reviving. I feel you there.
Speaker 6 (07:15):
When you say that, I'm like, you know, what are
you actually good to? Probably revisit that?
Speaker 1 (07:19):
How was one of our favorite my favorite show moments?
So last year was that story.
Speaker 6 (07:23):
I think that's a lot of your listener's favorite moment.
Thinking about you driving topless down seventy five if.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
You it was seventy one, and if you're like, what
are you guys talking about? I had put on some
really thick body butter and it was the dead of summer,
and I was just so hot that I couldn't I
can't even explain to you how hot I was in
that moment. But nonetheless, we're moving on into twenty twenty
five before we do, so let's debrief New Year's Eve.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
How was it for you? We were in two different areas.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
You were down at the banks, and I think everyone
wants to know, like, what is the banks like on
a New Year's Eve?
Speaker 3 (07:56):
It's packed.
Speaker 6 (07:56):
I felt like all of Cincinnati was there. But having
a table on Near's Eve is so underrated.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
Oh yeah, dude, we had.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
This long table. The whole group was set up there.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
You looked stunning, by the way.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Thank you very much. I had a little pink number.
Speaker 6 (08:11):
I don't usually wear a pink, but I was feeling
it a little Barbie Wicked moment.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
It was beautiful.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
We're very different.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Sarah asked me what I was wearing, and I decided
maybe thirty seconds before I went out, and she started
picking that outfit out one that morning.
Speaker 6 (08:26):
Honestly, I had no idea what I was gonna wears
because for one, for a couple hours that day, I
was like, you know what, I don't even feel like
going out anymore.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
Maybe I'll just stay home in my pajamas.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Everyone has that moment. I had it too all.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
Day and I'm like, you know, final go out.
Speaker 6 (08:41):
But the dress I ended up wearing I was gonna
wear for my birthday here in a couple of weeks.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
So it was kind of a last minute decision.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Is there anything at the banks that you noticed? Like
what you were? You know, we're just so crowded.
Speaker 6 (08:52):
The bar that I was at did this really cool
confetti pop thing at midnight and a big countdown. They
had free champagne for everybody, and again having a table
with chairs under yours eve is very underrated.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Can I tell you up at Vintage Lounge? So I
was more towards the downtown area. I was the designated
driver ooh, which is unlike me as a party gal.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
But I draw a short, stronger one.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
No.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
I typically like to be the dd on nye because
by this point in the vacation and holiday break, I've
had so much consumption that I don't I can't even
really do it.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
I had, I didn't. I had maybe a sip of
champagne that night. Oh, good for you that it was
not me, and it feels manufactured.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
But well, hopefully you're feeling okay now by the second
The one thing that I noticed about people is that
no one was really like two under the influence of alcohol.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Everyone looked that was not the star I was.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
You know, I was with the grown and sexy, and
you know, the banks is just filled with a lot
of different age groups.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
There was something for everybody where I was at.
Speaker 6 (09:56):
So we left by twelve forty five because things were
getting a little busy down there.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
So yeah, it was good though, no complaints.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
Well, we're saying goodbye to twenty twenty four and we're
not doing our Instagram recap reels.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
No, we are not.
Speaker 6 (10:11):
Unless you're driving topless on seventy five seventy one.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
You're waking up in the morning. Kiss what I was
seven one.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
I've been to Seinfeld.
Speaker 7 (10:25):
It's so good and it's.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
Just so funny. It just cheers you up every time.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Can I be honest, I had never, never really watched Seinfeld,
and I went to go watch it during the holiday break.
And I don't have the greatest relationship with Netflix. And
when I say greatest, I mean they ended their password
sharing and I never got my own account, so I
don't have access to it. But I would love to
see Seinfeld.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
I heard that.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff. When you
search Kiss on iHeart Radio. It's just an alternative way
to contribute to the show. You'll see the microphone next
to the play button as we slowly dip our toes
back into twenty twenty five. I shouldn't say back, I
said that really for the first time.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Or you can call.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
We're in the midst of talking about what TV show
did you pick up over the holiday break. I'm curious
it is now officially TV season. Sense it gets dark early,
the holidays are over, and we're just really just chilling
inside our houses. I'm watching something now that I never
(11:24):
knew existed. It's an old show. It's True Blood. By
the way, I forgot to mention that I'm still figuring
out how to do my job. If you forgot your
password to get back into your computer for work, no worries.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
It's the same energy when it comes to talking on
the radio. Guys, this is crazy. This show is insane.
Speaker 4 (11:44):
Not so I don't know why.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
A friend of mine, she recommended that I watch True Blood,
and I was like, all right, man. It had been
in my like you should watch this recommended list for
a while, and I said, Okay, let me just watch
this one episode.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
What's going on.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
It's seven seasons long, and the only vampire relationship I've
ever had is the one with Edward Cullen.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Like I've only watched Twilight.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
This is a completely different ballgame, and it's so unhinged
that I can't look away.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
But the writing of it, oh my god.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
It was probably when it came out and the like
the twenty ten's right peak HBO when they allowed nudity
and sex and explicitness, I was like, what is going
It feels like they just throw it in at random times.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
It's correct.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
I can't even describe if you've seen true Blood five one, three, seven,
four nine, one oh seven one. I need someone to
go back and forth with on it. While I have you,
you can also, like I had mentioned, the talkback with
TIF or hit me up with whatever show you're watching
now that you got into over the holiday break, don't
gate keep. The best thing you can do during the
month of January is share the gift of whatever it
(12:58):
is that you're watching on TV.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Share the love here on Tiff in the Morning, Hi,
good morning, Good morning. You're waking up with Tiff in
the Morning on Kiss one oh seven one. We're in
the midst of talking.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
About with TV shows and or movies you picked up
over the holiday break. I have yet to find someone
to connect with in our Tiff in the Morning community
about True Blood that was recommended to me. I don't
know what the heck I got myself into, but that
show is unhinged and I'm watching it for the very
first time. So if you've seen true Blood five win, three, seven, four, nine,
(13:30):
one oh seven one, I'm curious.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
I'd just love to get your take on it, et cetera.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Okay, while I have you, we're Sharon, don't Gatekeep.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
That's the best thing you can do.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Shammed, Ted Lasso.
Speaker 6 (13:41):
I know they have a new season coming up, but
I just started watching it from the beginning and head
last is gonna say humanity.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Yeah, that's a good one. I don't think they do
have a new season coming up, though, do they.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
I know that there are the three out on Apple
TV Plus, which, by the way, oh my god, I
saw this trending. Oh you glad, I'm catching you. You
can trial Apple TV for free this weekend, and that
is my favorite streaming service, So recommend that one. I
know they had talked about it, Ted Lasso, spin off
of some of the other characters, so maybe that's what
(14:13):
you're mentioning.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Thank you for the TV too.
Speaker 7 (14:15):
He's not allowed to watch Rome just all the sex
and violence. I mean HBO basically on anything.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Of course, I had a whole binge the minute I
was able to watch it. That's me right now.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
I never had access to HBO either until I upgraded
my Hulu subscription, and that's how I landed on True Blood.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 7 (14:35):
I watched Chicago med and I think that, like most
of the characters, are insufferable and irritating and often full
of themselves, and I'm sitting there going, oh this guy,
look what he's doing again? And then it's gory sometimes,
but I still just can't stop watching it. I still
think it's fascinating.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
You make such a great point. Do you have a
show like that that you hate watch?
Speaker 2 (14:55):
I gotta get.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
Through this, but I really really don't like it. I
can't remember the last last one that was for me.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
I don't know. Maybe it'll eventually get to True Blood.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
I was oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, tell me
lies on Hulu. I couldn't get through it. I said,
the characters are making me so mad that I was
just hate watching. I said, this is negative energy we
don't need in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
You're waking up a fifth in the morning time.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
Kiss un good morning.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
So when I read about the term gate lice, I
was like, I'm not doing this.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
I can't be thinking about lice a second day of
the new year.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
No, but it doesn't refer to the one that you
sometimes get in your hair in middle school, or or
if you're Alexa from schitz Creek and you're an adult.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Can I be honest with you.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
I got head lice as an adult, and I forgot
I'm just now remembering this.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
It was back when I like just graduated college.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
And I was living in a small like, well it
wasn't small, but it was a bunch of my girlfriends
living in bedrooms in a four bedroom apartment in Boston.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Okay, that was It took me a while to get
that out.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Sorry, And I have no idea where I got the
head lice, but I never told my roommates about it,
and I think that would probably make me a bad person.
I probably should not be telling this story on the radio.
I'm gonna move on from this. So gate lice when
passengers are like, you know, waiting to get on to
the flight and they cut, you know, they cut the line.
(16:21):
You don't how there's like an unwritten rule about clustering
up towards the gate when you're getting ready to get
on the airplane, and you know, everyone's just kind of like,
you know what I'm saying, Like sometimes there's like you
cut people, do you know, there's it's unwritten, But those
people are called gate lice. Okay, all right, By the way,
if you're just walking into this conversation, if you put
traveling on your twenty twenty four vision Board. Did it
(16:45):
again twenty twenty five vision Board. These are the travel
things that you need to look out for. I'm a
sucker for a list. I think it's just because I'm
nero divergent, and so when I see, you know me,
when I see like a list of things, it helps
keep my brain more organized with it. So we won't
get to all of these, but top travel trends of
the year. Sleep divorce is another one, which is something
(17:06):
that we've seen in relationships, but it's happening with traveling.
When you go off to a resort or a hotel
or something, you would get separate beds in the same
room instead of sleeping together.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
You'd probably get.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
The two twins or the two who has a twin
bed in a hotel room, but the two full sized
beds instead of sharing a one big, king size one.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
When I went on to the.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Dominican Republic for a wedding earlier in the fall, my
coworker that was also at the wedding, him, his wife,
his three kids all got separate rooms at the all
inclusive resort. So there were five different rooms for that family.
And I said, you've got a different room from your wife,
and he said, yeah, like we have different sleep schedules,
(17:46):
and when we're on vacation, I want to enjoy my
time and she.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
Wants to enjoy hers. And I was like, okay, I
think that makes sense.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Some people were for it, and other people, of course,
had their judgments.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
You get to decide.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
You might be judging me right now about the headline thing,
We're gonna keep that to ourselves. It's the first day,
a second day rather at twenty twenty five. We're gonna
bring some good energy into the new year. Coming up next,
we'll dive into the three things you need to know
to get your day started in Cincy. When I pulled
the audio from Jamar Chase, I was like, I think
that you're gonna like hearing this. Of course I'm talking
(18:19):
about New Orleans, so I'll have that more next.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with TI, Hey, good morning.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
You and I are in lockstep about not wanting to
start off twenty twenty five with such bad news. Oh
my god. But the two biggest news stories and we
won't spend a ton of time on them, the Tesla
truck that exploded and obviously the tragedy in New Orleans.
I'm gonna play something from New Orleans native Jamar Chase
(18:53):
here in a hot second, because I figured you'd want
to hear from them. But the latest on the death
toll is now fifteen people were murdered in New Orleans
New Year's Eve going into New Year's Day in the
French Quarter.
Speaker 5 (19:06):
I found out this morning. But it's it's just sad
that you know that that's the stuff that goes on
around and not just New Orleans but all over the world.
So you know, I pray for those ten people, their families,
the police officers, and everybody else.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Who was involved.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
Like I had said, the death toll had been updated
since Jamar spoke. It's now at fifteen. And you already
know by now that the Peach Bowl was delayed until
playing tonight.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
It's just a nightmare.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
Police are still obviously very much investigating it, both cars
and both incidences.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
No way, and there's nothing saying that they're tied together.
By the way.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
I don't want to make sure and make sure I'm
very clear that we're not, you know, spreading false rumors
at this moment, but I was curious excuse me that
they were both Touro rentals, and I don't want Touro
to get a bad rap.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
I don't know why.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
I'm really like dying on this hill here. Turo is
a great service. I use it all the time. If
you've never heard of it, It's like Airbnb, but for vehicles.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
I use all the time.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
So outside of this, if, like I said, if you're
looking for a recommendation, still has my stamp of approval.
But yeah, and the more I read about the New
Orleans thing, it's just like, well, I have so many questions.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
I'm very similar to you.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
They were repairing the banisters that block cars from going
down that street because of the peach bowl. They wanted
to repair them, so for New Year's Eve while that
was happening, they replaced them with squad cars and trooper cars.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
But the truck was able to get around that. It's
just like, oh my god.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
So I again, we'll move on from that, because I
know you want to start your new year off maybe
with a little bit better news.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
But that's the latest for you, all right.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
Second, in three things you need to know this morning,
we're supposed to get some pretty.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
Decent cold weather.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
I got the text for my landlord actually last night saying, hey,
keep water running a little bit out of the faucet,
and keep your cabinets open in your kitchen to let
some of that warm air. Be very prepared that we're
going to feel some frigid temperatures. And then, lastly, in
three things you need to know this morning, we've got
more updates on Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. We touched
(21:08):
base on this almost right before we went into Christmas.
Just if you're like remind me, of course, the debrief
on it is. Justin Baldoni was the lead actor and
the director of It Ends with Us, which is a
movie about domestic violence adapted from Colleen Hoover's book.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Blake Lively played the lead actress in it.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
She had filed a sexual harassment claim against him, saying
a certainly, just briefly, like he had added in more
kissing scenes and things that weren't really necessary. He would
also barge into her trailer while she was breastfeeding, things
like that.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
He has ensued The New York Post.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Actually saying that they had launched a smear campaign against them.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
They had come back with at Justin and saying listen.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
We aired your statement at the same as, like you know,
what you said went into the newspaper as well, essentially
now from what I'm observing. And by the way, that
was a two hundred and fifty million dollar lawsuit against
The New York Times. Also breaking this morning that Blake
Lively is now suing Justin Baldoni for so there's a
sexual harassment and then I believe there's a defamation lawsuit
(22:14):
in there.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
So well.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Book.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
Highly recommend the book. Highly highly recommend the book movie.
I'm quite sure if it's on streaming, I bet it is.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
It was all right.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
I think it's worth watching. But the book is by
far better than the movie.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
That is.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
Three things you need to know for the second of
January twenty twenty five. The best way to keep listening
to Tiff in the Morning, not just today but for
the rest of the year. It is on the iHeartRadio
app when you search kissue oh seven one. Hi, good
morning eminem on Tiff in the Morning, January second.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
It's a Thursday.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Here to remind you of that as you kind of
filter in through the new year at your own pace,
don't overthink it, don't get stressed out Hey, I mean,
we're all kind of getting back into the groove of
things here. You're waking up with Tiff in the morning
on kissue oh seven one, I myself made a mistake
in three things. You need to know what we were
just talking about New Orleans and I called it the
peach Bowl. My brain is recalling from a moment yesterday
(23:05):
when I was chit chatting about that peach Bowl where
OSU remember it was like New Year's Eve. Instead of
watching the ball drop, we watched that horrific kick against
the Bulldogs, right, do you remember that?
Speaker 2 (23:16):
So that was at the top of my mind.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Really, I meant the sugar Bowl is what's been postponed,
and then you know till tonight the one from yesterday.
So I just want to self correct on that one.
Thanks for listening. You know, we're all just getting back
into the groove here coming up and next we'll get
into this after Rihanna.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
Well the movie movie.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
Review, the number one movie in the box office right now.
I had a chance to see it a couple of
days ago. I'll give you my take on baby Girl.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
Next, you're waking up fifth in the morning. Po Kiss one.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
I'll never understand why they make. When I say they,
I mean Hollywood makes horror movies outside of Christmas. But
every time I go to the theater, which is quite often,
we're about to do our movie, they review this morning.
Every time I go to the theater, there's a new
trailer for a horror movie. There's one coming out called
(24:06):
The Wolfman this month.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
And I'm like, where it's.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
Not for me?
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Not for me?
Speaker 1 (24:11):
So I know we typically do this on Mondays. It's
a free flowing kind of welcome back to the new year.
Pull up a chair at any point, you know, and
we'll take it slow. But I had talked about TV
shows that you've been binging at home over the last week.
Let's chitchat about the theaters and such. What did you
watch over the holiday break? There were many many movies
that came out over the holiday break. Which ones did
(24:31):
you get into, if any and if you're looking for recommendations,
et cetera. This is where we get into that, you
know what I say, The biggest universal topic of conversation
amongst anyone anywhere is what are you watching on TV?
Speaker 2 (24:44):
What are you seeing in the movies? You could always
relate to.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
Someone at some level about that, and we used to
get judged as kids watching the Disney Channel growing up.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
My parents'd be like, you're always tyed to the TV.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
Now it's funny as an adult looking back in the
millennial world. It's now like such a of pop culture
to watch TV, right, all right, So nonetheless we're talking
about theaters. Actually, the biggest one that was trending over
Christmas was the Baby Girl release, which is the movie
with Nicole Kidman. And I'm totally blanking on the lead
actor's name, but if you haven't seen it yet, I'm
(25:16):
gonna say it's a recommendation from me, and you're more
than welcome to bring your partner with you. But it's
not made for guys. And I got this straight up
from a guy's opinion who had seen it. He said,
I liked the movie, but you can tell that it
wasn't made for me.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Now.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
It's got some elements of like fifty shades of gray
to it, but it's done tastefully and the scenes are
chef's kiss if you're picking up what I'm putting down.
I liked them, but I was not expecting such a
deep message from Baby Girl, and I guess it makes sense.
Now in reflection, because why would Nicole Kidman pick up
that type of role if it wasn't going to be for,
(25:55):
you know, for something bigger than herself.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
And there was a message. I think it spoke directly
to women.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
And you know, moms and CEOs and just women and
how they relate back to you know, sex and their
own marriages and their own life.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
And it was very very interesting.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
It's very tasteful, but there was definitely an underlying thread
that there was a message there, and I think it
spoke to women in a way that hasn't been done
before you get done before. I also saw the fire inside.
I did a double feature, which I've always wanted to do.
I went to showcase, saw one movie, walked over to Roosters,
came back and saw another.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
I need to pause on the TV convo, guys.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
I experienced Roosters for the very first time, and oh my,
I loved loved it. And then my friend Ben filled
me in on the story about where Roosters came from
Super Big Up and Daton and Columbus, et cetera, and
how the two brothers split Roosters was a vibe the
whole like, go watch the game, at Roosters on Saturday night.
(26:54):
If you don't want to go out near the banks,
go to Roosters game.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Sound was on. Waitress serve were great.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
Food was delicious, I mean, best chicken I've had in
a long time.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
Anyway.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
So then I saw The Fire Inside, which is I
love a good sports memo movie, you know, like based.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
On a true story. That was great.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
It was about Oh and I'm also blinking on her name,
which is not my strong suit anyways as names, but
the first female boxer in the US. She won the
gold medal in the Olympics and just went on to
crush the competition. So that was a good one. If
you're looking for something to watch over the next couple
of days, there are a few out there. There's the
(27:34):
the Timothy Shallomet movie and theaters, and there's at least
one more. Wicket is still there, but Wicked is also
now available on streaming.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Moana's out.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
There's a lot to pick up over the next couple
all right, Yeah, don't gatekeep. If there's something that you're watching,
feel free to shoot me a message. I had posted
the review of Baby Girl a couple of days ago.
So we've talked about this on social media. I always
like to remind you that outside of what you hear
on the radio, you can see it.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
And participate it in it as well. At the Tiff
to F's Potter like the Wizard. All right, good morning,
thanks for listening.
Speaker 4 (28:09):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
Kiss, Hey, good morning. Are you a horoscope person? I
think it's always worth checking out, you know, if I'm
having an off day, sometimes I'll get an iced coffee,
go for a walk and check my horoscope. That's kind
of what my best friend Hannah, she lives in Los Angeles.
She's like, that's what I do when I'm when I
need a little break, I just check my horoscope. And
I said, you know what, probably I'll use a little
(28:31):
moment of inspiration. January second Aquarius season. Hi, I'm right
alongside you. My birthday is in January as well, and
if it is your birth month, they say that twenty
twenty five.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
Is a pivotal year for you Aquarius.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
With Pluto in your sign until twenty forty three, you're
taking new risks and then reinventing yourself in ways that
you didn't even see coming. I guess when Uranus enters
Gemini on July seventh. Your visionary ideas will amplify. It's
important to share these ideas with the world so that
others can start to see the bigger picture with you.
(29:09):
It will leave you feeling purposeful and important. The manifesting
tip I'm picking this up from Glamour magazine, by the way,
for aquariuses is collaborate with a community that shares your ideals.
You may need to create this community for yourself, so
don't be afraid to shine and step outside of your
comfort zone. The greatest reality possible for you will be
(29:30):
manifested through actions and risks. This year we taken risks Aquarius.
I feel like that tracks for us. Happy birthday if
you celebrated over the holiday and I'd get a chance
to connect with you, and happy birthday to you if January.
January is January and is an okay birthday month. Mine's
the twenty second every year. Someone in my friend group
(29:54):
that I'm close with is doing dry January, which is fine.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
I highly reckomon.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
Actually, next week we're going to talk about being sober curious,
and you know all the dry January events happening around Cincy.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
I'll take care of you. On that front.
Speaker 1 (30:05):
But when I turned you know, when I was in
my twenties and all my friends were doing the whole
thirty in dry January, We'd all be around, they'd be
drinking soda waters and he'd be meat with my champagne.
But you know, it is, it is what it is.
January birthdays are okay coming out the new year, and
you're like, oh man, I really went like fourth of
July babies.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
You guys know that you have it the best, all right.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
I could repost this link for you if you're interested
on our page if we're not connected, by the way,

yourself some slack. It's only the second day at twenty
twenty five.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
It's okay. If it is a.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Slow, smooth start for the month, for two months until
Super Bowl whatever, You'll find your groove, you'll find your stride.

Speaker 1 (31:01):

go back and listen to the podcast and be like, Tiff.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
What were you talking about? Just rambling on. I got

the same for me coming.
