Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up in the morning time kiss one.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Good morning you all. I'm a teacher, I'm up early.
But last night, before I went to bed, I watched
Chimp Love on HBO and it is Tiger King meets chimpanzees.
It is wild. Sorry for the pun, but you have
to watch it and then talk about it.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
I appreciate your sense of humor and thank you for
the talk back with Tiff. You can access our show's music,
of course, on the iHeartRadio app outside of your car,
but that's also where you can participate and jump in
on our show's content and conversation as well. Just search
kiss and the microphones right next to the play button.
Isn't it funny? As millennials, our parents used to shun

(00:47):
us from watching TV. I mean we did it, but
it was like, oh, you're watching TV. And then now
it's the way we connect. It's become the biggest universal
topic of conversation. When you don't know what to talk
to someone about, just ask them what they're watching on TV.
Everyone was wanted to do so we covered so much
on my show. It's like, well should I watch? What

(01:08):
should I do? I don't have a max login, so
you'll have to, you know, hold down the fort there
on that one with the chimpanzee love. However, I did
text my friend last night and say, I think I'm
gonna start the show Lost, and that'll lock me in
until about twenty twenty five because I'm looking for a
show that's got long I'm looking for a show that's

(01:29):
got like longer seasons, longer episodes. And there's six seasons,
and I would say for the first three or four
of the seasons there are at least twenty five episodes
in there. You don't see that much. You don't see
that much anymore. I mean, you get six p twenty
minute episodes of Emily and Paris, and it takes them
about four years to put it out. I had done

(01:51):
a little bit of deep diving when I started episode
one of Lost yesterday. It was the most expensive TV
show to film during that time of two thousand and
four to twenty ten, and the pilot episode alone cost
one It costs fourteen million dollars to film that first
pilot Lost episode.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
If you haven't seen it, jump in on it. If
you have.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
I'm watching it on Hulu, but I bet it's available
on Netflix as well, all right, coming up at six fifty,
I have the three things you need to know to
get your day started in Sincy. Oh my god, the
news from Mariah Carey yesterday.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
What.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
I'll get more into that next.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
When you need to know She's got you.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
It's three things with tip on.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
We're just before seven o'clock on this Tuesday. We're gonna
start off with the weather like everyone else will this morning,
but it will feel hot out there.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
I blame myself. I asked for it to come back
last week.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
When I had to put my seat heater on in
the fifties on the way in, and mother Nature's returned
with vegance.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
So a heat advisory.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Will go into effect today at twelve and run through
tomorrow at eight until eight pm. Temperatures will reach somewhere
close to one hundred degrees. So if you're in fall sports,
if you're a fall sports coach like myself, it will
be very hot outside over the next couple of days
or so. Dare I say it doesn't bother me, doesn't

(03:21):
bother me that much, doesn't bother me. But I know
that for some who work outside consistently, it's just gonna
feel really hot out there, so I'm sending you well
wishes and good vibes.

Speaker 6 (03:31):
Ah.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
This is the time where we steal air conditioning from
wherever we can get at aka the office or target,
whatever the case may be.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
All right, Second in three things.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Oh and by the way, I should mention Ziegler Pool,
I meant to mention this earlier. Ziegler Pool and some
of our other pools are still very much open if
you're looking for a place that's cheap to escape the heat.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Second in three things you need to know this morning,
let's talk about Mariah Carey. She had posted on social
media yesterday something that I can't I can't I can't
imagine what it's like to experience this, But she says,
my heart is broken that I've lost my mother this
past weekend, and sadly, in a tragic turn of events,

(04:16):
my sister lost her life on the same day. I
appreciate everyone's love and support and respect for my privacy
during this impossible time.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
I don't necessarily.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Get the vibe that Mariah in her family's relationship was
like the best of the best. She once described the
relationship she had with her mother in her twenty twenty
memoir as there's a little bit of gratitude, jealousy, admiration,
and disappointment, and it was prickly at best. I didn't
realize this that Mariah Carey's mom, Patricia is also a singer.

(04:53):
Here's a clip from them performing a Christmas song together.
I know it's gonna sound jarring to your ears at
the end of August.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
So here's a little.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Warm and then here comes her mom.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
So now we know.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Where Mariah gets her voice from. So we have no
cause of death at this time. If there is more
on that, you know, I'll have it for you.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
All right.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Finally, in three things you need to know, let's do
a little drive by wellness update on the Lopezes and Afflecks.
You know, this house doesn't seem like it's going very
It's not going very far. I'm very fast off this market.
It's still very much for sale at this point. The
thing that keeps circulating though, is the fact that they
did not have a prenup, which seems very foolish to me.
I would hope that in the adult world, both of

(05:54):
them have experienced marriage and divorce, that they would have
been smart enough to do something and we just don't
know about it. Maybe, but right now, all I know
is that there's no prenup and for the two years
that they were married, everything between them is of course
community property, including ben Affleck's production company. And now the
trending story this morning is whether or not artist equity,

(06:17):
which she shares with Matt Damon. Matt Damon could be
jeopardized by this as well. I don't know, we'll see,
but that's what's on TMZ this morning.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
All right, that is three things you need.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
To know for the twenty seventh of August, coming up
at seven twenty Which song will take the crown.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
For the tiff in the morning song of Summer? We'll
run through that.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
The best way to keep listening is on iHeartRadio your music.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
You're waking up in the morning, Kiss Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
That song right there is most certainly a way to
pull up to school or work on two wheels blasting
with the windows down.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Hi, thank you for the talk back.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
What tip.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
I say it every day, but I will continue to
remind you.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
That our show exists outside of your vehicle, music content, conversation,
search iHeartRadio and kiss one oh see. My favorite campaign
of the year for our show went live yesterday and
the visuals.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Couldn't have asked for better visuals on it.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
I'm so excited about this at the TIF two F's
Potter like the Wizard on Instagram and Twitter right now.
It'll make its way to TikTok eventually. I promise, what
will you vote as the tiff in the morning song
of Summer? We will crown a winner this week. And
you know my thoughts on it. Song of Summer is

(07:38):
it's so important, it really is, and we have to
get on the same page of who we're gonna crown
the winner because later on in the week I'll play
some song of summers from years past, and I bet
as soon as you hear the hook, it'll take you
back to whatever summer that was and certain memories will
start to populate in your brain. And that's just the

(07:59):
power number one of music and number two of a
song of summer.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
It's it's so to me, it's just so valuable.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
So we're gonna run through at the tip to f
S Potter like the Wizard in the comments to start
getting who you think should be in the run in.
Some of the top contenders right now are not surprising whatsoever.
Coming in at number one with the most votes is
Sabrina Carpenter Espresso.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
You can't seem.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Not to sway your opinion in any way. I just
feel like that one's gonna end up taking the crown,
but again, it's up to you. This next artist also
felt like he came out of nowhere on the scene
with this one Shaboozi Bar song dumb Shot at the
Jaws down in the street, there's a party downtown in

(08:58):
your fistes, I think it's that violin that really just
gets me.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
So qualifications.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
I think for a song of Summer one, you gotta
know the words. It has to be MASSI appeal to
the point where everyone knows it and it's typically upbeat,
like for example, Cruel Summer one.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Last year, Dance the Night was also in the running
for that.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Selena Gomez and Rema was in the running for the
twenty twenty three Song of Summer. This next artist has
got a lot of votes, a lot of votes, but
I wouldn't be surprised if you have no idea what
the song is. This is Hot to Go by Chapel Roone.

(09:46):
She was a surprise, you know, not new to music. Whatsoever.
But her fandom just came like oom hot this summer.
She was the artist that had that huge crowd at
Lollapalooza in Chicago this past month.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Another great vote vote.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
This one's got a few up there, and I'm not
surprised by it either.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
I had some help post you and Morgan.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Morgan Wallen was in the running for the Tiff in
the Morning Song of Summer last year as well. One
that surprised me that has absolutely no votes is Kendrick Lamar.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
Not like us.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
They not like us. They not like us. They not
like us. They not like us. They not like us,
They not like us.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
So who will you vote?

Speaker 3 (10:31):
You've got a couple of days to get them in
At the TIF two f's Potter like the Wizard and
the comments section is where it starts.

Speaker 4 (10:38):
And yeah, I would love to have you commercial free
coming up at seven point forty. We're gonna run through
the top TikTok sleep trends, don't go far.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Oh you're waking up fifth in the morning. Kiss, how
are you?

Speaker 5 (10:59):
How are you?

Speaker 4 (11:00):
How are you? I do this show every day in
this box by myself, so it's nice to know that
you're with me. TikTok sleep trends.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Have you jumped on a TikTok trend and then you've
reflected back and you're like, why did I buy that?

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Guasha?

Speaker 3 (11:17):
I think Guasha my face for one day you're talking about.

Speaker 6 (11:33):
I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm all right,
I'm all right, We're all right, We're good, I'm fine.
Let's go through some of these top TikTok trends for sleeping.
Since you're kind of back into a regular routine, you know,
I've found myself in this phase as well of trying
to get better sleep, get a little bit more organized,
coming off of a very lax summer.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
Ready for fall. Here we go.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
The number one sleep trend that people have experimented is
bed rotting. Bed Rotting is one of those things that
sounds like such a good idea, like a dream. You're like, oh,
I would love to just rot in bed all day,
But then once you've done it, you immediately regret it

(12:18):
because it happens usually on a Saturday or a Sunday,
and you're like, oh my god, I still have things
I want to do. I live in this constant state
of being pulled from one thing. To the like like
pulled apart, like half of me wants to lay down
and the other half of me wants to go out
in the sun.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
So bed rotting came in at number one for a
sleep trend.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
If you're like, wait a minute, I don' have no
idea what you're talking about, Tiffany, I don't have TikTok.
It's where you stay in bed for an extended period
of time and you do things other than sleep. It
reminds what's that movie is that Willy Wonka where everyone
just hangs out in bed?

Speaker 4 (12:52):
That weird?

Speaker 3 (12:52):
That was weird? Right, Well, now it's a TikTok trend.
You scroll, you eat, you watch, you read, you do whatever.
The Scandinavian sleep method. I guess this is where couples
sharing a bed use separate blankets. I can see that
being successful. In fact, I have tried that on. It's
been a long time for me. The finance guy and

(13:13):
I haven't been together in several years. That was the
last time I was close enough with someone to share
a bed with them, and then we would use a
separate blanket because somehow the blankets long enough. It's just
never wide enough. I remember a caller I had. This
might have been earlier in the summer. We were talking

(13:34):
about air conditioning and how some you know, some houses
have central AC and some have window units. One girl
called me and said, we have no AC in our bedroom.
We just use a fan. And I'm like, you just
sit and lay and sweat together.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
My god. I'm in the final sleep trend on.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
TikTok that has been tested and I can't say works
or not. Is the Sleepy Girl mocktawn If you're like, oh, yeah,
what's this one? Magnesium with cherry juice and like a
soda water or water depending on what your you know,
taste buds are craving at that time. I will say,
even in my own hormonal health journey, magnesium has been

(14:15):
recommended to me multiple times and I've started taking it
and it has helped with that, and they say it
helps for a lot of things, sleeping, et cetera. So
the Sleepy Girl mocktail about nine percent of TikTok users
that have tried it liked it.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
Doesn't sound like that high of a percentage to me.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Commercial free for a little bit longer, coming up at
seven point fifty will dive into the three things you
need to know to get your day started in Sincy.
Doesn't really feel like football weather out there right now,
but Carrie Underwood teased us with the latest version of
the Sunday Night Football song.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
I'll have that in more next.

Speaker 5 (14:52):
When you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
It's three things with tip on.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
Hey, good morning, we're just before you're eight o'clock. At
eight forty this morning, I have your chance to win
Lotto tickets. She's coming to the Brady on November one.
It definitely does not feel like football weather out there
at this point in the day, nor will it feel
like it throughout the rest of the day. Temperatures are
going to reach the one hundreds. I want to remind

(15:18):
you that some of our pools are definitely still open
and very low cost to get into, including Ziegler, which
is my go to spot. So just remember keep that
in your brain if you're dying up there today, those
are still open for your convenience.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
All right, football.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Carrie Underwood has held the title for Sunday Night Football
for eleven consecutive years, and we've got a taste of
what this year is going to sound like. Identical to

(16:01):
the previous eleven years that she's held the title, but
still nonetheless I look forward to seeing Carrie Underwood in
those clips every year. She's got the best legs of
all time. All right, second and three things you need
to know. Let's chitchat Drake. He released more content on
his Fence to Account, which is the plot twist with
a bunch of teas if you want to check it out.

(16:22):
And more content on one hundred gigs, which is the
website that he launched maybe a couple of weeks ago
that's got all this really old footage on it.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
If you're a big Drake stam, you'll.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Get some enjoyment out of looking through some of this stuff.

Speaker 4 (16:35):
Others are saying.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
That we're just prepping up for another Drake album and
that he hasn't quite put the Kendrick Lamar beef to bed.
There are three new songs that have released on one
hundred gigs, one of them called super Soak, Sarcadium Rhythm,
and No Face.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
I have a clip for you here. No Fie, no fie,
no fie fie, no no nice, no ice, del vase,
del vas del vase. Do you have a face?

Speaker 3 (17:07):
No, okay, no face, No got it so there's no face.
There is one or no face, got it. We'll see
what comes with that.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
You know, I think.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
I don't know when when men have drama, it just
makes me giggle, it really does.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
All right.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Finally, in three things you need to know this morning,
let's do a little drive by wellness update on Lizzo.
She had posted to social that she was taking a
gap year. That tracks for Lizzo with the lawsuits, et cetera.
Do you remember these the sexual harassment lawsuits that I
talked about.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
It feels like months ago at this point.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
But she did post on social that she is gonna
lay low and saying I'm taking a gap year and
protecting my piece. Now, some will say, why did you
post that? And I agree with you. Why why did
why did you feel the need to post that? What
she said in it about protecting my piece? I one
hundred percent agree that that is the ultimate thing that

(18:04):
a human being has to do. You have to just
protect your own piece. So I will take I will
heed her advice on that part. That is three things
you need to know for the twenty seventh of August
coming up at eight forty hour. Remind you again, we've
got the lotto tickets on top of that. Lori Sharpage
is our licensed clinical counselor and practicing therapists Relationships and Therapy.

(18:25):
Meet on My show Tuesday mornings around eight ten ish
Channing Tatum, Channing Tatum. I believe if not Engaged is
very much with Zoe Kravitz.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
He's doing this.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
One thing around the house that I feel is gonna
make ladies laugh or cringe.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
I can't decide. I'm gonna ask Glori share Page about it.
Coming up next.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
If you have a question for our licensed clinical counselor,
well you're in the right place five one three seven
four nine one oh seven one. I have yet to
come across a question that is two out of pocket
for her. So, if there's anything going on in your relationship,
whether you're newly married, you moved in together at some
point this summer, or you're dating, come come right here,
Come one, Come all, babe.

Speaker 5 (19:14):
It's time to make a date or break on tip.
In the morning, I'm.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Gonna bring a few of these to the table and
see if your ears start perking.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
Up and you know wherever it may be this morning.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Lori sharp Page is our licensed clinical counselor she joins
us for make a Date or Break therapy and relationships
Connect on my show on Tuesdays. The Channing Tatum white
T shirt thing has popped up a few times on
my feet. I'm gonna play this clip or Channing Tatum
essentially refused to do laundry for an entire year. I'm

(19:47):
wondering how Zoe Kravitz feels about this. And instead of
washing the T shirts, I don't want to say he
threw them out. He jokingly said that he bought new
T shirts and every time he wanted one, instead of
washing them.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
I had one year that I called the Year of
the Fresh White Tea. And I don't think I did laundry.

Speaker 7 (20:04):
All year that year.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
And I just I just wore white T shirts.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
That I have just bought, Like I can get like
two wears out of this week.

Speaker 4 (20:12):
This is gonna be good.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
The Year of the Fresh White Tea ninety nine or
two thousand.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
Although there is something nice about a fresh white tea,
I get, yeah, there is.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
Some special about it.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
Yeah, in your office, what are the typical things that
couples fight about that you're like, yeah, I guess this
makes sense, or that make you giggle or like what
are what are people bringing.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
To the table that bothered? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (20:33):
Absolutely, Well, first of all, laundry, I think is a
great example, So people leaving their socks around or not
doing the things that they need to do to keep
their laundry tidy and put together. Another one that I
hear a lot from men about women is their makeup
all over spray tan sheets.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
Yeah, the spray.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Tan sheets and the fact that your powdered bronzer is
just change caked into that.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
Say yes, yes.

Speaker 8 (21:02):
So I think that's something that like, you know, like
it works for you, it's your flow, but it does
have an impact on other people.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
And I think that's kind of what you.

Speaker 8 (21:10):
Know with with channing, Like okay, so that worked for you,
but like how did that impact everybody around you?

Speaker 5 (21:15):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (21:16):
So I think that there's these.

Speaker 8 (21:17):
Things that are just small things but maybe kind of
gets you.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
They gets you a little irked.

Speaker 8 (21:22):
Another example would of course be like things like dishes,
but it can also be things like communication, you know,
not telling that person when you're gonna go out or
you're gonna do things, or there's a change of plans.
That can also be something that really can irritate quickly.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
My best friend Hannah lives out Los Angeles and her
boyfriend Ray is just infamous for like leaving the house
and not like saying it, just like where I'm going
and where I'm going back, And she's like, okay, cool, cool, cool,
Like I'll just hold it down here.

Speaker 9 (21:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
Lari Sharpage is our licensed clinical counselor. So if you
don't call with a question on anything, whether you're newly dating,
you married, maybe you moved in together this summer five one, three, four, nine,
one oh seven one to ask and no question has
ever stumped you. Nothing is due out of pocket for
LORI if we if you don't call, coming up in

(22:10):
two songs, what happens when your significant other and you
both have family and friends and you're trying to fight
for equal time with both sets. It's never equal. So
we will get to that. If we don't get your
phone calls again, we'd love to have you on the show.
It's make a Date or break only on Tiff in
the Morning, Good morning, you're waking up with TIF in

(22:32):
the morning. On Kiss one oh seven one. That was Nellie,
who of course is coming back to Cincinnati this September
coming up, and like less than ten minutes from now,
I have your chance to win a lotto tickets, but
you'll need the keyword make a date or break. Lori
Sharpage is our licensed clinical counselor. She joins to show
every Tuesday where therapy and relationships come together. What if

(22:53):
your significant other is and you both have families here
in Cincinnati and your friends, you both have great friend
groups here in Cincinnati, and you're constantly fighting for each
other's time with different groups?

Speaker 6 (23:06):
Right?

Speaker 4 (23:07):
Am I explaining this?

Speaker 9 (23:08):
Right?

Speaker 1 (23:08):
You are?

Speaker 8 (23:08):
You are explaining it right? I think the very first
thing is to know you can never have a perfect
fifty to fifty split. Let's just get that out of
the window because that causes a lot of tension with
couples that are trying to make sure that we get
exactly fifty percent on both sides and that just doesn't work.
So throw that expectation out of the window. Also, one
thing that's really really helpful is exploring, like do we
have to do everything together? Is there time for you

(23:31):
to go spend with your family and your friends independently
and for me to go do the same, And then
there's gonna be times when you're gonna come together, you
need to be able to talk about you know, what
those things are, and to make it okay for you
guys to have independent time and also time for me
to say, you know what, I'm gonna sit this one out.
You go have fun with your friends and family. I
think when they're out of town it gets particularly dicey

(23:52):
because then we're dealing with additional resources as far as
time and travel and money to go see them. But
it's really really important to know, oh that you can
never do this perfectly, So you've got to give a
lot of flex a lot of room for you guys
to get creative, to figure out how best for you
to continue to maintain those relationships as an individual and
as a couple well, not having the expectation that it's

(24:13):
all going to be fifty to fifty.

Speaker 3 (24:14):
Okay, Yeah, I feel like that conversation can come up
in relationships. If you've got a good friend group and
they've got a good friend group, it's like we're spending
or insert family. We're always spending time with your family,
never with mine, or we're spending time with your friends,
and never mind and the fact that anything in relationships
is supposed to be fifty to fifty is.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
No, it just doesn't work, just doesn't work.

Speaker 8 (24:37):
I mean I understand the appeal of it, and I
think that we all have a level of like we
want that, but that's not realistic and it's going to
hurt your relationship to try and strive for that.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
Okay, at the coping queen on social media, if you
want to ever ask her a question, nothing has come
across her feet. That's atle out of pocket for her.
I mean we have talked about pretty much everything on
this show. Coming up next, I'll mention it one more time,
but you need the keyword to make a date or
break to win the Lotto tickets. You'll be here on
November first, so we'll make sure you get those here next.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
On Tiff in the Morning, Thanks, Lori.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Thanks, you're waking up with Tiff in the morning. On
Kiss one O seven one.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
Hi you're on the air. Hi Ki, Hi, good morning,
good morning. How are you and good?

Speaker 1 (25:20):
How are you good?

Speaker 3 (25:20):
I'm assuming you have a keyword for me make a
data break. Congratulations, you're going to lotto.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
Thanks, you're just Tuesday.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
You're so welcome.

Speaker 3 (25:31):
November first, Absolutely, what's your name. When neighborhood are waking
up with me in this morning?

Speaker 4 (25:35):

Speaker 3 (25:40):
Yy.

Speaker 2 (25:43):
My son is with me and he just absolutely loves
listening to you and watching your show.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
Oh my god, well what's his name?

Speaker 9 (25:51):
Lear? Lear?

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Thank you so much for listening to Tiff in the morning.
I appreciate you guys watching.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
For those that are just walking into this.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
Sometimes we jump on Instagram live before we actually go live,
so look at that.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
Things worked out in your favor. What neighborhood you guys
in this morning? We're and Monroe Monroe. That's ready mentioned that. Well,
thank you enjoyed the show.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Congrats, thanks, thanks, thanks you too. If you took a
loss on these ticks, I'll have you Tomorrowady at thirty.

Speaker 4 (26:18):
If you want to set a reminder.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
Coming up next, I've got the three things you need
to know to get your day started in Sindsey.

Speaker 5 (26:25):
Lynn, you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
It's three Things with TIF.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
Hey, good morning, we're just before nine o'clock. At nine
of five, nine five, not nine of five. You have
a chance to win free trip to Vegas our iHeartRadio
music festivals the third weekend in September. It's a once
in a lifetime experience, so I don't want you to
miss that. Don't go far, and it comes with an
extra thousand bucks. I almost bury the lead on that.
Let's start off with Mariah Carey. The post I saw

(26:52):
yesterday kind of stopped me in my tracks, just as
I tried to imagine what it would have been like
to experience.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
What she did over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
She said, my heart is broken that I've lost my
mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events,
my sister lost her life on the same day. I
appreciate everyone's love and support and respect for my privacy
during this impossible time. Wow, I can't imagine what that

(27:21):
was like. We don't have any details as to what happened,
and you know, nothing's come out on that. But I
do get the sense that Mariah was not close with
her family. It feels as if there was a little
ice there. In fact, in her memoir that came out
in twenty twenty, she had said that the relationship with
her mom was pretty complicated, describing it as a prickly

(27:44):
rope of pride, pain, and shame. Something I learned about
Mariah today is that her mom, Patricia, was also a singer.

Speaker 4 (27:53):
They did a duet This is.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
Christmas music, So I know it's gonna sound a little
jarring in August, but listen to how phenomenal her mother voices.
Here's the mom right now, we know where Mariah gets

(28:22):
the voice from. So thoughts and prayers are definitely with
her on that one, and you know her inner circle
for sure, all right. Second, and three things you need
to know this morning an update on Jamar Chase. Sports
Illustrated posted that Jamar said, quote, my future is brighton Cincinnati.
I know I'm gonna be there the majority of my career,
if not forever, which is hopefully giving some Bengals fans

(28:47):
a peace of mind as they're still in the midst
of that contract negotiation.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
Guys, contracts feel weird to me.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
I mean, I'm not a sports stat expert, but I
think with your being like, we're like a week and
a half from the season, wouldn't you assume like all
that stuff's buttoned up before the game.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
But I guess not.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
And then finally, in three things this morning, NASCAR could
be doing a street race in Sincy. Now, if you
live outside of Pakor Stadium or near Fourth Street, that's
already been happening. But they might officially come to the
Queen City. After wrapping up a contract in Chicago. We're
on the short list to bring street racing here. Other

(29:25):
cities that are in mind for that are Baltimore, Pittsburgh,
and US So.

Speaker 4 (29:30):
That could be cool.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
That is three things you need to know for the
twenty seventh of August coming up next that trip to Vegas.

Speaker 4 (29:34):
Don't go far.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
You're waking up with kids in the morning.

Speaker 5 (29:37):
Kiss one.

Speaker 7 (29:39):
When I was in high school, my best friend called
her boss and told her that she had explosive diarrhea
and couldn't come to work. And of course it worked
like a charm, because what's her boss gonna say, prove it.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
I can't even bring myself to save those wors. It's
in the same sentence, never mind admit that to a
boss of mine.

Speaker 4 (30:06):
Thank you for the talkback with tip.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
It's an alternative way to get involved in our conversation
every day, which exists outside of your car and on
your phone. When you search kiss the microphones next to
the play mind, you've got thirty seconds and you know.
The thing is, you could leave me the same talkback
fifty times and redo it over and over and over
again and I would never know. So if you're nervous
to do one, it's a great entry point to the show. Uh,

(30:30):
although I'd like to say, you know, I have good
conversation with really anyone that calls the excuses that you've
used for running late is what we're in the middle
of talking about. I'm sorry if I forgot to explain
that to you in the beginning. I just got so
caught up with the explosiveness of that one.

Speaker 4 (30:45):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
And this has kind of been over the last two days.
Anyone that gets caught up on the podcast and such
usually ends up leaving a talkback on the excuses they've
used for running late, or maybe, if you're a hiring manager,
some of the ones that you've heard from those that
are running late. I feel like I can come up
with an excuse boom at the top of my head

(31:08):
for why I'm late. It's it's probably pathological. It's bad
I run late quite a bit. It's just second nature
to have an excuse ready to go. I did hear
that sitting in traffic is a really bad excuse to use,
but isn't that the truth. The other day, I was
late for something would work because I had to drive
from here to Union and it was like forty minutes

(31:31):
on seventy one South to get there. And I was like,
that was unexpected, you know, going up the cut in
the hill, like it can be amazing or not. And
if there's an accident. I once sat on the highway.
I put my feet on seventy one North because it
was closed due to an accident.

Speaker 4 (31:50):
That's how bad the traffic I was stuck.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
Do you remember this. This was back in like February
or March. Seventy one was closed for like an hour
and a half and I was sitting there like my
feet were on the high way.

Speaker 9 (32:01):
There was a time at my last job where I
had to work a Sunday for a few hours, and
the night before I had gone out for my best
friend's birthday and obviously drank quite a bit. So I
still went in on Sunday, but I was throwing up
like every five minutes. I was throwing up in the
bathroom in a trash can, so to the point where
the supervisor who was there with me was just like, honestly,

(32:24):
just go home.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
Let's go home, honestly, just we just we love someone
that gets it all right. Coming up at nine point forty,
the Daily debroof we choose one big thing that we
talked about in the show and we run it back.
Since we talked about this at seven twenty, the comments
on Instagram have almost doubled.

Speaker 4 (32:42):
We'll get to that next
