Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning Kiss. What
is the best piece of advice that you've ever gotten
from someone?
Speaker 2 (00:07):
I really encourage you to participate in today's show. If
you've never left me a talk back with tip, you
might as well try it out today. Microphone's in the
top right hand corner when you search kiss on the
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
It's just an alternative way to get in touch with me.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Phone lines work, DM's work could And I say that
because you really never know who's listening to my show today,
or I should say our show at this point.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
And who it could affect.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
So all sorts of advice I've received, right, some of
you leave, some of you take, some stays with you.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Depends on what you're going through in life.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
I would say one of the strongest pieces of advice
my dad, Hi Steve, gave me when I was like
in high school going through a breakup was time changes everything.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
So I've kind of hung on to that one.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
I recently heard a quote from a girlfriend of mine
who kind of going through it at the moment, and
she said, that's why. One that resonated with her was
that's why they say it's called going through it because
you don't stay there, but you have to go through it.
You have to complete it. You have to go through
it to get out of it. So that one I
thought was interesting. Career advice. You know, it depends on
(01:20):
what kind of a phase.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Of life you're in.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
If you're looking for love, breakup, career, family, grief, loss,
I'm sure someone somewhere in Cincinnati would appreciate any bit
of it.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Career advice.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
I've always given this to other people that have asked
me how I come up in the radio industry. I
always say, you know, you've got to get into rooms
that people are gonna that people are going to be
in that you're never.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Going to be in. All Right, I messed it up
here we go three two one.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
They're gonna be be There are gonna be people in
rooms that you're never gonna be in. But you have
to make friends with those people that are going to
be in those rooms and make sure that they know
about you and what you want that they can speak
on your behalf. I also tell people too, you know,
(02:07):
if they want to grow in their careers, no matter
where you are in your career, I think you've got
to share your accomplishments and what you're working on, especially
if you're in your twenties, you think that there are
other adults that are like, well, you're older than I am,
you shouldn't like you should be you should know what
you're doing way more than I should know what I'm doing. Right,
That's not the way it goes, and people get so
tunneled vision when it comes to careers and jobs and work.
(02:29):
Everyone wants to get their own job done so they
can go back to their own lives and their own
families that they're often just not paying attention to what
you're doing. So there's all these great things that are
going unnoticed that you have to share and like bite size,
you know, emails so that they can.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Forward to their bosses.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
So those are two pieces of career advice that I
give out sometimes, and I'm wondering if any of those.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Would be helpful.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
If you've got a piece of advice for someone, depending
on what it is that you're going through, could be grief,
could be love. I could use some love advice, Scott,
since it's new for me, I would love to hear
your voice talk back with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app.
Maybe today's the day that you're involved in today's show.
The microphone is in the top right hand corner. Be
a part of Tiff in the Morning. We wouldn't be
(03:12):
who we are without you, or you can call me
five one three seven four nine one seven one. Advice
is the keyword that you're gonna.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Need for the Land of Illusion. Tickets coming up at
seven point thirty, good morning.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
You're waking up a TIF in the morning on a
kiss one oh seven to one high.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
You're on the air, hinang.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
I just wanted to participate in your advice as a
postpart of mom.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
The best piece of advice.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
I ever got was to make sure that you shower every.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
Single day, because it's the only amount of time during
the day that no one needs to accept yourself.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Love that thank you. What neighborhood are you waking up
with me in? And what's your name?
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Batavia and Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn, Awesome.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Advice is the keyword, by the way, in just a
few minutes that you're gonna need to win the Land
of Illusion passes. If you're just walking into Tiff in
the Morning for the first time today, we're in the
midst of chit chatting about the the best piece of
advice you've ever gotten. I'm so glad our post bottom
part of moms are being recognized with that one.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Right there.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
We gave out love advice. We've heard career advice. The
reason why I'm even bringing this up is I coach
high school girls field hockey at Ursuline Academy and I
was just chit chatting with them about just life stuff
yesterday and the idea of advice came up. I said,
you know, it would be really good at this you
because you never know who's listening, and you never know
(04:28):
who you might affect today. So talk back with Tiff
on the iHeartRadio app. The microphone's in the top right
hand corner. When you search kiss or you can call
me five win three seven four nine one oh seven one.
Three minutes from now. Your chance to get into LOI.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one. You know I've never been to
Land Evolution.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
I don't do scary things very well, so I've never gone.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
But I want you to go.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
If you have a If you have the keyword that
I had mentioned earlier in the show, show and you
would like to go go ahead and start dialing five, win, three, seven, four, nine,
one oh seven one. Our phone lines, I can even
see them right now, are full, I think just for
the advice topic, that's what we're in the midst of
talking about this morning.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Hopefully you have a little.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Hint on what the keyword was based off of that
wink wing. But let's check some of our talkbacks while
we await some more calls.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
I think one of my favorite pieces of advice to
give and that I've.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Ever gotten is that.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
Everyone has their successes at different points in life.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
There is no timeline, yep.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
So you might feel like you're behind, but everybody's life
happens at a different pace, and that's okay. If you
want to restart your career at a certain age, or
if you want to go start a new relationship, that's
okay because it's your life and nobody else is okay.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Ooh, thank you for the talkback with tip.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
That is an alternative way to get in touch with me,
Especially if I'm in the middle of talking. I can't
answer the phone and talk at the same time. You know,
it's just me in this little box every.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Day, me and you. Let's get another one good morning tip.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Good.
Speaker 5 (06:05):
My dad always used to tell me you get more
flies with honey than vinegar.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Classic and.
Speaker 5 (06:12):
Just me and how my brain worked. I'm always like,
I don't care about the flies, like I don't want
the flies. But as I got older and I realized that,
you know, being kind, it's much better.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Appreciating me.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Sure, rude, Well, I appreciate that, and I appreciate you
reaching out to the show and reminding of us and
reminding that of us, reminding that, reminding me of that.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Let's do that. Let's go with that.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
I haven't gotten any love advice yet, as someone that is,
you know, in a new relationship. I could use a
little tip here and there. All right, I do have
one more open phone line. Do you want it? Five win,
three seven four nine one oh seven one, Land of
illution passes if you have the keyword that I mentioned earlier.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
Good luck.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
In the meantime, we're still commercial free with Christina Aguilera.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on chis
one oh seven to one. Good morning, you're on the air.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Hi, this is Jessica. I was just calling about the
tickets against Jessica.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Your caller ten this time.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
Oh, no way, I've never won anything before.
Speaker 5 (07:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Yeah, I'm hoping. You have a keyword for me.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (07:19):
Is it advice?
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yep, advice is the keyword. Look at that, Jessica. This
was meant to be.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
You were meant to win if you're just joining the show.
Jessica called me and said, hey, I'm trying to win,
and I said, oh, I haven't quite given the tickets
out yet. And then I filtered through one through ten
and you got it, your caller ten.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
I love that the universe is on our side.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
Yes, I'm so excited. And my birthday is actually Friday,
so it's like a little early birthday gift.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Heck.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Yeah, Jessica, thank you for listening to Tiff in the morning.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
It's no problem at all. Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
Yeah, and I love that you tried something new.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
We don't really try a lot of new things as adults,
so trying something new outside of your comfort zone, good
for you.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Thank you. I was definitely nervous doing it. You couldn't
tell Oh.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
You're good. It's really only me. I don't have a producer.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
There's no one that sits in here with me, except
if you know people want to join my show, but
it's just me that answers the calls in the talk back.
So it's just like you and I get in coffee
every morning.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
Just expect you.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
Yeah, that's that. Okay, Well what were you even talking about? Yeah,
we're talking about advice. Do you have a piece? You
never know who's listening.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
So really it's just be kind in general. Every life's
been so hard on everyone so late, like lately, and
you just never know what people are going through. So
just be kind and spread kindness, teach it, show it
to your children.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
And model it. Love that Jessica, it's me, Jessica.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
I'll give you a million Tiff in the Morning points
for your Tiff in the Morning points bank if you
can tell me what movie.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
That is from. This has been great advice advice.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Feel free to jump in on the conversation, whether it's
through our talkback feature.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
Or DM ing me.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
If you are only here for the tickets and you're like, damn,
I missed it, Okay, no worries.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
You know what we're gonna do.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
If you want LOI, you can join us tomorrow at
seven thirty. If you want tacos in tequila, those tickets
are coming up around eight thirty ish this morning. There's
a lot happening, all right, let's leave it there, commercial free,
hang tight,
