Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, Kiss one
seven one.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
You talk like that to your mother and Mother's Day?

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Nice?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Nice. I'm gonna make you say mother. I'm gonna make
you say it.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
You mother or mother is the keyword you're gonna need
for the whiskyly friend Shan Paul tickets coming up at
eight thirty this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
You gotta lock it in.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
If you don't have a gift for Mother's Day, imagine
handing your mama pair of tickets to this Sean Paul show.
Maybe you get her an adult candy at the dispensary
and you say, Mom, here you go, you and your
best friend.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
How fun at riverbend this summer. Oh, you'd love it.
She would love it.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
We're gonna talk Mother's Day since this is like the
appropriate time a couple of days from now you should
be celebrating. I got to drop my card in the
mail before my mom loses her marbles when it doesn't
arrive on time. I swear she's hunting down the mailbox
already for it.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
I had mentioned this on the show last I think,
But the number one thing that moms want for Mother's Day,
you got to let me know if this is true
or false? Was sleep best place is to get sleep?
According to this hotel rooms number one, spa number two,
and then simply a quiet house comes in at number three.
If you can do nothing else, just leave her alone

(01:19):
in the house.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Had taken that.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
It's funny to me how different moms are and what
they want in comparison to one another. So we're gonna
idea share here on the show for Mother's Day things.
Maybe you can draw some inspiration and you two can
also contribute.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
My name is Kristen. Every year my children add something
to my Mother's Day journal. Oh so every year they
draw a picture, they write a note. It started when
they were babies, so I get to see the progression
of how they've changed over the years. And my husband
never have to remember to buy a card.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Okay, good idea? What else? So we got this morning
till last year on.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
Mother's Day, my oldest son was twenty years old, and
I had woken up and come downstairs and on the
kidgen table was a single road and a little post
guard that read, there is no love greater than a
mother's love.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Okay, look job.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
It was literally the best mother simple Mother's Day gift
and it just brought.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
To use to my eyes.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
It's very different. But first of all, thank you for
the talkback with tiff. Quality came in a little jankie
on that one. It's because I know you're off to
doing whatever you're doing in the morning, and you still
have time to leave me at talkback.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
So I do appreciate that.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Microphone is in the top right hand corner of the
iHeart Radio app if you want to contribute.

Speaker 6 (02:42):
So, my wife and I last year, for the first time,
got a gift from our son. It was a mug
that's best mom, and we just kind of said, well,
which one is it born, so well, one week you
could have it and then the next week she could
have it.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
I appreciate that, you know, Mom's I love you, And
maybe I'm assuming I will be this type of mom too,
if I ever have the chance to become.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
A mother later on in life.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
But there's always the mom, especially my step mom. I
remember growing up she'd be like, I don't want a
single thing, get me nothing, and then the day would
arrive and she would be annoyed when someone got her nothing.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
So what else, what do you mean?

Speaker 4 (03:30):
This is it?

Speaker 2 (03:31):
What do you mean, you're going out tonight. I thought
you were having dinner with us. That's all I'm asking
for one night with your mother. A mother's said, that's
too much to ask.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
You talk like that to your mother and Mother's Day? Nice?

Speaker 5 (03:45):
Yeah, tears, you're waking up with fifth in the morning
on kiss one O seven to one.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
I got to turn my microphone on a couple of
minutes out from your chance to win Sean Paula Whiskalifah
tickets for yourself or maybe your mom, maybe a hand
to repair tickets this Sunday, And she's like, Wow, the effort.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
We're in the midst of chit chatting Mother's Day and
kind of more of like an idea shared this morning.
Things you want, things you don't want, things you've gotten,
things you hated.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Let's start off with the talkback.

Speaker 6 (04:15):
I think the best Mother's Day gift is to leave
your mother alone.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Okay, let her have some time to herself and don't
ask her for one thing.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
That has come up a few times when I've chit
chatted with friends and even my own mom as well.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
My worst Mother's Day gift was a breadmaker. Really, you're
giving me a chore for Mother's Day. Have a great
day YouTube gal. Thanks for the talkback wich.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
If you two can contribute when you search kiss on
the I heard app microphones in the top right hand corner.
I like I said, I think it is very dependent
on the relationship you want to have with your mom
and to what her personality is. Because I know someone
in Cincinnati is listening right now and saying, oh.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Breadmaker, I might kind of like that. So again, idea sharing.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
This is going to be a very unpopular opinion. But
the worst Mother's Day gift is brunch. Do not take
me to brunch, sad omelet some French toast. Oh thank you.
Just bring me a cup of coffee while I'm in
bed scrolling through my phone. That's a good Mother's Day.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
You make a good point.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
I have a couple of girlfriends that are like, yep,
we're going to brunch for Mother's Day, and they'll get
me started on the mom's that have to do their
own Mother's Day, then do their mother in law's Mother's Day,
and then potentially their own mother's Mother's Day. It sounds
very overwhelming. We got time for at least one more.

Speaker 7 (05:41):
My mom's not big on experiences. She'd rather stay in
and relax. But I went to one of those paint
your own pottery places and spent way too many hours
painting a big serving dish for her. And I'll probably
pair that with a nice card and some flowers and
something else for her.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Okay, there you go. I love them. Let's do the tickets.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Do you think mom would want to pair tickets to
Whisk Khalifa or Sean Paul five win, three seven, four nine,
one oh seven one. If you have the keyword that
I'd mentioned earlier in the show, good luck, you're waking up.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
With Tiff in the morning one.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Seven one, good morning. I'm really hoping that you have
a keyword for me.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Oh yes, ah, you didn't, Mason.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Wait, give it to me one more time, nice and clear,
clear your throat.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
I want to hear it.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Mother.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
It's walk like that to your mother and Mother's Day.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Nice. Congratulations Mason, you just won the Whisk Kaliva and
Sean Paul tickets.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Awesome.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
What neighbor are you driving around with and I'm driving
my kid to see I.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Can hear them? Well, these would be perfect Mother's Day
presents for you. Then thanks for listening. To TIF in
the morning. If you took an l on these tickets,
I will do it again for you tomorrow at eight thirty.
If you want to set a reminder to get up
with TIP in the morning with Siri or something like that, Okay,
and you can always do so on the iHeartRadio app.
In the meantime, we're still commercial free, but we're not
far off from the three things you need to know

(07:10):
to get your day started in Cincy.
