We're in TIFFs Community Corner where I introduce you to
the people, the places, the events, and the uniqueness that
makes up Cincinnati. You've heard of Le Soup right near
Walnut Hills. You might have seen then that event. There's
something that you've gone to. Their Rescue Kitchen, a nonprofit
that bridges the gap between food waste, all that stuff
that gets thrown away their parents you used to yell
of us about as kids and food insecurity. They've partnered

with Tisdale Distributing on this cool event happening at the
Kenwood Collection tonight. Steph, who works with the soup, fill
me in a little bit on these meals because it's
in the thousands.

Yes, yes, you know.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
We are celebrating our tenth year this year, and we're
really unique because we are chef led. We're the only
organization in Cincinnati that is chef led. We rescue surplus food,
we transform it into restaurant quality meals and share it
with over one hundred and sixty community partners weekly.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Yes, nothing makes someone feel better about themselves than a
good meal. Especially served with good people, regardless of your status.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
And we firmly believe that everyone deserves a dignified and
delicious meal, no matter where you are in your life.
Since twenty fifteen, we've diverted over seven million pounds of
food from the landfill and we've shared four point five
million nourishing servings with families in Greater Cincinnati.

from your showroom tonight in this beautiful dinner, are going
back to Lisup.

Walk me through it, Tisdell.

We are the regional said Zero Woffenkov showroom here in
Cincinnati luxury ap planing showroom, as you said, located in
the Kenwick Collection building. Face is really more than just
the AI or sources of discovery inspiration for anyone who's
dreaming about our new kitchen. We're committed to partnering with
our community and open up our doors to the Soup
and partnering with their mission again, something that we care

very deeply about, bridging that gap between food waste and hunger.

do I look at Zillo.

And look at this. The first thing I look at
is like, if I can create my dream kitchen.

So the event tonight, you're going to see names that
you're already familiar with, Heart and Cruz providing a really
delicious wine pairing. You're gonna recognize names like Chef Salazar,
Aperture is going to be there. When you buy a ticket,
you'll get the experience of culinary mixed with kitchen and
good vibes. Plus all the proceeds will go back to

the Soup. Tell me a little bit about how the
event is going to go tonight.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
We're super excited. The event's gonna be from six to
nine pm this evening. Again, we've bought, as you said,
some of the best culinary talent, world class experiences. All
of us are joined together for a really great cause.
So one hundred percent of those ticket proceeds they're going
to go back to the Soup and to support their mission.
So lots of incredible bites from these chefs throughout the city,
wine pairing some heart and crew for each of those courses.
