we’re mixing big debates with even bigger decisions. First up — who are the GOAT actors, and why is Adam Sandler getting so much love? Then, I’m facing a personal dilemma: should I drop $4,500 on a plane ticket to Vietnam for someone I’m dating? Plus, Taylor Swift’s new album is dropping and we’ve got thoughts. Oh, and yes — the Reds lost, and Cincinnati is officially sad.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Cause you're waking up with fifth in the morning time
kiss seven one good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
You know.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
I thought of you this morning.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Because it took me a couple of minutes to kind
of wake up and get organized.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
And I was like, oh, I got to.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
See what the Red score was last night transparently did
not stay awake for that one, and I saw what
there were final results were. Unfortunately, the reds are now
officially out, and I thought of you because I'm like, well,
now what, well, now, what are we.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
Going to do?

Speaker 1 (00:34):
We have to just turn our attention to applesider in
Cinnamon Donuts and maybe the Bengals will do well against
the Lions on Sunday. What I do love about this
weekend though, is that I think the weather is going
to be nice. Don't quote me on that one, But
we don't have a game on Sunday until four twenty five.
And that's what women know. That is an entire lifetime.

(00:55):
You can do a lot of things from the time
you wake up on a Sunday to win. The band
start playing at four to twenty five. I love four
twenty five games, especially in the winter when it gets
a little bit darker out.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
So yeah, it's it's tough. It's tough.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
I think we have to be a little bit patient,
more patient with the Reds. If there's one man that
I do believe in, it's Tito, and I think Tito
could help us get the job done, or at least
go a little bit further into the playoffs than the
first round. But we might have to be patient with that.
I have a tattoo because of Tito. If you weren't
a part of yesterday's show, get caught up on the

(01:32):
podcast to just search Tiff in the morning on the
free iHeartRadio app. Sometimes I circle back and reference things
that we talked about days ago, weeks ago, so we
get caught up at your leisure this morning. Okay, coming
up at six point fifty, I have the three things
you need to know to get your day started in Cincy.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Good morning, when you need to know She's got you.
It's three things with tif On.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
I've got something on sizza here in a hot sec.
I'm sorry, waking up a Reds fan this morning is tough.
It's an it was an emotional hill last night. Give
me a hot second. We're just before.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Seven o'clock. You might like this.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Ellie da La Cruise audio that I have on the
second of October. Temperatures right now, we're sitting in the sixties.
Eventually we're gonna bump into the eighties once again with
beautiful sunshine.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
That'll be the case through the weekend. All right.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Reds ended up taking to l yesterday and what looked
like a promising game coming out the gate there with
two runs ahead of the Dodgers. We had bases loaded
at one point in the sixth, but couldn't get it
done unfortunately, taking the L eight to four. And here's
Ellie de la Cruise though, on his very first postseason.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
I just it was it was fun. It was fun.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
First hour in the postseason, it was fun. I just
let's say, like, we gotta go work hard last year
and we gotta get better and come.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
Back last year.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
I don't think anything could really get that man down.
That man feels like he's got the highest spirit in Cincinnati, right,
Don't you get that energy from him? So I think
the longest drought in MLB history continues with the Reds
not winning a playoff game for a very long time,
over thirty years. All right, Second, in three things you
need to know this morning, let's take a little trip

(03:26):
down Cardi B and Nicki Minaj Lane the third day
in a row, we've talked about what's going on between them,
and I sometimes feel so foolish, you know, one reading
someone else's tweets out loud, and number two just in
the midst of someone else's beef, Like, I'm just kind
of just like you, observing from the outside on Twitter,

(03:47):
thinking the same thing.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
What is going on?

Speaker 1 (03:50):
This is now the third day that, or at least
the second that Nicki has brought the kids into it,
and she's just sent some really nasty things. Cardi B
a of course responded, but towards the end of the
conversation she kind of was like, Nicki, I think you're
pretty unwell. In fact, she was claiming drug abuse in

(04:10):
schizophrenia and bipolar and the only reason why I think
there might be some validity.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
I don't know what's going on with Nicki's personal health records,
but sometimes when she does tweet and when she does
go off on these tangents, you're like, what's going on?

Speaker 3 (04:25):
What's going on at home?

Speaker 1 (04:27):
So I these two have kind of been at it
before it started back in twenty seventeen and went on
from there they'd never really been right after Motorsport with
the Migos, that' saw Nick came out. I don't know
if anything will come of this, but yeah, I've been
watching that one on social media for a little while now.
All right, lastly, and three things you need to know

(04:48):
this morning. Zocikat was on Jimmy Fallon last night and
let's see if you can put these two songs together.
This voice True Light Light ilied that was something about Siday,
Here we Go, Here we Go.

Speaker 6 (05:00):
Scrub is a guy, thanks, he is flying, also known
as a buss, always talking about what he.

Speaker 7 (05:13):
Wants and just sits on his bro.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
She nailed that.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
That was of course, no scrub lyrics to one thousand
miles melody.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Doja Cat was on.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
The In Real Life podcast with Angie Martinez and was
really gushing about her relationship with Sizza musically and as friends.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
And I found this very sweet as well me personally,
there's something she has.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
I think it's just stylistically for me, but then also
everything she's.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Done her on her own.

Speaker 8 (05:48):
Sorry.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Doja Cat is going to be the musical guest for
SNL's kickoff this Saturday. Of course Bad Bunny, who is
just announced as a Super Bowl halftime perform will be
the host. That is three things you need to know
for the second of October. We are hours away from
a new Taylor Swift album, and we are your home
here on Kiss one oh seven one for all things Taylor,

(06:12):
including screen passes to AMC on Saturday for Life of
a Show Girl. Your chance to win that coming up
at seven thirty. Best way to keep listening to Tiff
in the Morning is on iHeartRadio Good Morning. You're waking
up with Tiff in the morning on a Kiss one
seven to one commercial free And if you are down
in the dumps because the Reds took the l last night,

(06:33):
I hope I can provide you with a little bit
of joy outside of commercial free music. If we have
nothing else to look forward to, then let's just focus
on Taylor Swift. Your new album comes out tonight at midnight,
and to celebrate kisses your home for all Things Taylor,
I have a chance for you to get into our
private screening of Life of a Showgirl at AMC Newport
on Saturday, coming up at seven thirty. You will need

(06:55):
the keyword actor. Actor is the keyword. If you were
to come up with your top three actors of all time,
who do you love? I'll explain why we're talking about
this in two songs, but get a jump on the
talk back mike. Microphone is in the top right hand
corner when you search kiss on the iHeartRadio app. I
invite you to leave me a voice note this morning,

(07:16):
Happy Thursday.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, hun.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Kiss one seven one Warren, and I need to know
who your goat actor is if you're going to name
out your top three best actors of all time. I'll
explain why we're talking about it in a second. I
figured we could use a little bit of a detour
from the Reds. I know, the heartbreak just doesn't get
it hasn't changed for Cincinnatians, and it doesn't get easier.

(07:42):
But that is a scab and the scar that we've
had for a while. So unfortunately they took the l
We're gonna move on a little bit this morning, if
that's okay with you, and look forward to Taylor Swift's
album Kisses Your Home for all Things Taylor.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
For the release of Life of a.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Showgirl tonight that entire album is actually gonna be in
theaters at on Saturday Kiss as a private screening, and
I'm gonna get you in around seven thirty ish this
morning when you have the keyword actor. All right, So
Leonardo DiCaprio was asked, and I think Leo is gonna
always be in at least some top ten list, especially

(08:17):
if you're a millennial. He was asked, who's in your
rotation for best actors ever? And he's got that new
movie out, which we'll talk about in a second. So
I'll play the clip and let's see. I asked you
earlier who's in your top three, and let's see if
they match up.

Speaker 8 (08:34):
I mean, there's Jamesteen, there's Jimmy Cagney, There's Hepburn, There's Street,
there's de Niro, there's Pacin on me.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
I could go on and on it.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
He's got the movie out with Teana Taylor, which has
been on my list to see it and get a
chance to go last weekend, and I'm really looking forward
to it this weekend. If you've seen the new movie,
let me know how it was. You can talk back
with Tiff and actually use that same mic or phone
top right hand corner. Let me know who's in your
top three. Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, Audrey Hepburn were

(09:07):
the ones that he came up with.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
James Dean another.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
One, And I think it kind of is based off
of who you grew up with. You know, if you're
a home alone girlye, then you might say any think
of the mcaulay Colkin kid.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Also known as Joe Burrow.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Is in your top I would say my number one
actor of all time, someone that I love, I love
so deeply and I will watch anything that he puts
out is Will Ferrell. But again I grew up in
high school during the Anchorman era, so he's my number one.
Let's think on our number two and three for maybe
a little bit more serious or romance, depending on what
you leg it might be Sidney Sweeney for you five win, three, seven, four, nine,

(09:46):
one oh seven one, or utilize the voice note feature
we talk about all the time on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Microphone is in the top right hand corner.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Who's your goat actor list and you'll need the keyword
actor to win the tailor tickets coming up at seven.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
Thirty Good morning. Taking a little break ski from the.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Reds, because I know that's probably a tough one right
now on your heart. You're waking up with Tip in
the morning on Kiss one oh seven one. But no
one puts me in a better mood than Ellie de
la Cruz. And I will have that audio for you
in three things at seven fifty.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Okay, you are walking into a.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Conversation where I have asked you who your goat actor
list is? Your top three actors of all time? We're
gonna pope over a two FPX.

Speaker 9 (10:25):
Hey TIF, good morning from the Pole Beer Guy. Get
Top actors Number one would be Paul Walker, number two,
Ryan Reynolds, number three, Adam Salin.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
I wait, I need to listen to that again. I
was distracted. Sorry I have ADHD. Sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry.

Speaker 9 (10:40):
Hey TIF, good morning from the Pole Beer Guy. Okay,
cop actors number one would be Paul Walker, number two,
Ryan Reynolds, number three, Adam Salin.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
That's kind of a that wow. You said names that
I would have never thought of. But I agree.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
I think Ryan Reynolds is great again. I think it's
who you've grown up with it you think is the
best of all time.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
And then it took me a second. I was like,
Who's Paul Walker?

Speaker 1 (11:02):
And then I remembered, Wow, that was such a tragic loss.
And they still make Fast and the Furious movies. I
had said that number one for me was Will Ferrell
and Forever and Always, and I think it's a like
titlemost with the Vince Vaughn because I do love a
Vince Vaughn moment.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
You can see a theme coming out of me.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Julia Roberts would be my second goat actress of all time. Again,
I think it's who you've grown up with. We got
time for at least one more in a movie.

Speaker 10 (11:30):
It would be Jennifer Lawrence.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Yeah, Jennifer Lawrence is a good one. Okay?

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Who else is on your list? You have a few
minutes to contribute to my show.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
It's free.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
I'm here for you every day at your convenience, and
I'd love to hear from you. The microphones in the
top right hand corner. I invite you to leave me
talkbacks or call me five one three seven four nine
one oh seven one. You will need the keyword actor
to win these AMC passes for the Taylor Swift movie
on Saturday.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
If you want to bring three of your friends or
family you're.

Speaker 9 (11:57):
Waking up with Tiff in the Morning on KIS one
O seven.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
Good morning. I hope you have a keyword for.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Me, I do.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
It's actor.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Ah, Yes, you're going.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
To Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl private screening
with Kiss ONO seven one on Saturday AMC Newport.

Speaker 7 (12:12):
Awesome, Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Are you a big fan?

Speaker 7 (12:15):
I'm actually my niece is That's who I was calling for.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
Well, she's gonna bring a couple of her friends. I mean,
we need something to look forward to here in Cincinnati.
So the album comes out tonight.

Speaker 10 (12:25):
I know, contemplating whether or not I'll go. It's target
at midnight when it releases.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
You will have to absolutely tag me in a picture
if you go, because I want to see what it's like.

Speaker 10 (12:34):
It's probably going to be crazy.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Remind me of your name, what neighborhood you waking up
with me? And from Sondra, thank you for listening to
Tiff in the morning. Of course we were chit chatting
about who your goat actors were. That's why the keyword
was actor. Do you have like one or two that
you want to add to the list?

Speaker 10 (12:51):
Mine's always like Adam Sandler typically.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Uh, you are now the second or third person to
say Adam Sandler on TIFF in the Morning today.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Wow. I wonder if if how honored he would be.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Okay, we are now all Taylor Swift moving forward here
on TIF in the Morning. No, not really, but we
are your home for t Swift. With so many things happening,
I would say the most important thing you need to
know right now, outside of the fact that I will
have more AMC passes tomorrow morning, is that at midnight
we're gonna host the iHeartRadio album release party exclusive here

(13:25):
on Kiss one O seven to one, and you'll hear
from her and we'll have the music back to back.
So if you're an at home person, listen to Kiss
on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Now, if you're an in.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Person person, I think maybe six or seven minutes ago,
they kicked off the Taylor Swift album Marathon at High
Ball Sincy. We partnered with them. It's free, open to
all ages. The schedules on my Instagram. You can go
and listen to every album back to back to back
to back to back. There'll be games and prizes and
conversation and everything all the way up until the release

(13:58):
of Life of a showgirl at mid night, and so
if you want to be a part of an in
person thing, that's free high ball. Since he just hit
play I think on the first album. So very excited.
All right, coming up actually and two songs we'll get
into three things. Taylor Swift talked about working with Max
Martin again. I'll have that more on the.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Way when you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
It's three things with tip on kiss the one man
on the Reds that always has a smile on his face.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
Give me a hot second. Even though we lost last night.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
We're just before eight o'clock on the second of October.
Temperatures are going to be in the eighties again today
with sunshine, and that'll take us through the weekend. That
coming up at eight thirty your chance to win Rene
rap tickets. Unfortunately, the Reds couldn't get it done in
the postseason, furthering are very very long history making playoff drought.

(14:53):
But but if there's one man that I feel like
is always happy, it's Ellie de la Cruz.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
I just it was it was fun. It was fun.
First time in the postseason. It was fun. I just
dont's say like we gotta work hard last year and
there's a lot of stuff.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
We gotta get better and I come back last year.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
I just I love Ellie Dayla Cruz. I love that
he learned English to connect with the fans. And we'll
have to continue to put our faith in Tito and
might need a little bit of patience for that, but
he did bring us to the playoffs in his first
year as manager. Okay, second in three things you need
to know this morning, we are not far off. Tonight
at midnight is another Taylor Swift album, The Life of

(15:37):
a Showgirl.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Kiss one oh seven one is your home for all
things Taylor. We've got the.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
On air iHeartRadio album release party where you will hear
exclusive Taylor content right out of her mouth. And then
if you're an in person person, well we'll be at
high Ball since the all day because they're doing a
Taylor Swift marathon every album back to back until the
release tonight at midnight. I think I plan on going
somewhere around ten pm. It is free, it's open to

(16:05):
all ages. They just hit play on their first album
maybe ten minutes ago and it's.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
Right around the corner from Finley Market.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
So she has been doing pop ups and you know
here and there with various platforms, and she had talked
about working with Max Martin again saying that she and
he knew that the stakes were going to be high.

Speaker 9 (16:27):
So I was like working up to Sedley to perform
because I knew he was going to be there, all
his friends are gonna be there, his family, I was
going to be there, So I called.

Speaker 8 (16:35):
It the Black Medley.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
And then she went on to say that again, like
the stakes are really high on this, and that leads
me to believe that if her and Max feel confident
to put out an album, that it is going to
be littered with bangers. Okay, lastly, and three things you
need to know this morning.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
Rest in peace to a nature legend.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Jane Goodall passed away at the age of ninety one,
and that woman was working literally up until her death.
People her sources say that she had died of natural causes,
but she was out promoting her last book. Here she
is in one of the many many clips of her

(17:18):
talking about nature.

Speaker 11 (17:19):
What's amazing is this ancient migration still carries on. I
think it's completely amazing. I agree, it gives me hope
that nature will manage in spite of us.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
We look at this so poetic.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Goodall earned a PhD in ethology, which is the study
of annibal behavior, becoming just the eighth person to be
allowed to study for a doctorate without a college degree.
She's written dozens of books, the last being The Book
of Hope, a Survival Guide for Trying Times, which came
out in twenty twenty one. There's a documentary on Hulu
that I had watched a little bit. By the way,

(17:58):
if you don't know Jane Goodall is myologies for not
reminding you. She is known very widely for her work
with chimpanzees. Okay, that is three things you need to
know for the second of October coming up at eight thirty.
Like I said, your chance to win Rene Rap tickets
for her show in Columbus next week. The best way

(18:18):
to keep listening to Tiff in the Morning is by
searching Kiss one oh seven one on the iHeartRadio app.
Nothing gases me up harder than that song You're waking
up with Tiff in the morning. Kiss one oh seven
one is commercial free always at this time, So if
you have already slotted Tiff in the Morning as a
regular part of your routine. I appreciate that, or maybe
today's the first day I'm catching you.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Welcome to the party.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
It is free. Hopefully it is low commitment and easy
for you as you get ready to start your day.
We have things you need to know, wanna know, might
use later conversation, tidbits, things about Cincy, all of the above, music,
everything that you like. Hopefully all right coming uh oh. Actually,
while we're here, you can also be a part of
our community by leaving talkbacks with Tiff. The microphone is

(19:03):
in the top right hand corner of the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
We got a lot of talkbacks.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
In our last hour about who your goat actor lineup is.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
Who are your top three?

Speaker 1 (19:14):
Hey, Tiff, my top three actor number one Matt Damon,
number two Brad Pitt, and number three George Clinny, who
talk about Cincinnati at least the tri State. That was
a good list. I stand by what I said earlier
that I think your top three is influenced by who
you grew up watching. For me, I'm an anchorman girly,

(19:36):
so Will Ferrell was my number one. You can get
caught up on today's podcast once the show wraps up.
Search Tiff in the morning on that same iHeartRadio app
and you'll find out you know why we were talking
about that, et cetera.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Okay, we shall move on.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
At eight thirty, I have your chance to win Renee
Wrap tickets and you will need the keyword Vietnam. I
will explain why coming up in two songs.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, Good Morning.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
How much money are you willing to spend on someone
that you're dating? I can I get your ear on something?
Can I get your take on something? I figured I
would lean into you for this because you'd probably have
some good insight, being completely, you know, unbiased. I am close,

(20:35):
very close to hitting purchase on a four thousand, five
hundred dollars plane ticket to go to Vietnam for someone.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
That I'm dating. There's obviously more to of it.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
That's the baseline, Okay, Vietnam is the keyword you're gonna
need for the renee Wrap tickets. At eight thirty, start
talking back with Tiff and give me your take on it.
I'm pretty good about trusting my gut. I've worked on
flexing my intuition in the last couple of years of
my life, and I have weighed every pro and con
about this quick backstory.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
You know, Tom Brady and I have been dating for.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
I think seven eight nine months now, and he has
had a trip planned with his friends for a long
time to Asia, a couple of weeks in Thailand, a
couple of weeks in Vietnam, and they're going for an
entire month from November one until December second. And he
had said to me as of recent and this has
kind of come up before us, not the first time.

(21:39):
He said, I really don't want to leave you for
a month. I would really love it if you could
come my friends, and I really want you to come
and meet us. Can you come and meet us? And
here's all the reasons why I think you should come
and meet us. You know, you love water, you love nature,
you love painting, you love food. He's like, I just
want to eat around the world with you. He said,

(21:59):
I know this is a commitment, and I know not
only do we have the show here every day, there's
a couple other things in my back pocket, right, All
the things come up, All of the things come up,
and so I'm very close because that to me sounds
like a.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
Really nice gesture.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
Hey, you know, I booked this before I knew you,
but I really want you to be a part of it.
So I'm so torn because that feels like, here's okay,
here's what I'm torn about. Outside of the cost being
forty five hundred dollars for at least a plane ticket
to get there, a time off which I already have,
I could take that, it's just you know, time away
from the show that I would have probably used around

(22:35):
the holidays. I'm a little on the nervous side because
I'm meeting a group of people on a trip that
they had planned. I know them all pretty well, so
it'd be like just kind of adding one more into
the mix. But then I would be traveling to Asia
alone and meeting them there. And I know I come
off as the queen of solo, especially on social media

(22:57):
when it comes to travel and all sorts of things,
But that doesn't mean I'm not nervous to travel to
Vietnam by myself and meet someone. And so I am
like second, So and I've obviously already debriefed my group,
text my closest friends, and they've all they've all said yes,
They're all like, TIF, we know you, You're gonna love this,

(23:20):
but there's just something me. There's something to me holding
back on pressing, on pressing purchase.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
And I and I I think it's the cost.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
But I'm also just a little bit nervous, and I'm
wondering if you haven't please help me, if you have
any insight, because I have been ruminating over this and
I need to get rid of this in my brain.
It's taking up too much brain space. Five win three
seven four nine one oh seven one. Do I just
book the forty five hundred dollars ticket and live my
life and go for the experience or do I hold back?

(23:50):
What are your thoughts? Have you ever been put into
something like this?

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Again?

Speaker 1 (23:53):
Vietnam is the key word you're gonna need for the
Renee Wrap tickets in.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
A few Hi, good morning.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
You're waking up with tip in the morning on a
kiss one O seven one, just a few minutes out
from your chance to win Renee Rap tickets in Columbus
with the keyword Vietnam.

Speaker 7 (24:07):
Hi.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
We'll start with you. You're on the air.

Speaker 10 (24:09):
Hey, I think you should go on the trip.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
Okay, give me give me just a quick reason why.

Speaker 10 (24:14):
Okay, So I went to Rio di Jennaro with my
friend this year. It was a spur of the moment
trip and I really wasn't going to go because it
was very expensive. But money is always going to come back,
and the experience is never.

Speaker 8 (24:31):
Going to come back, and ten years or now you
might not be able to do it, So why not.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
Do it now?

Speaker 3 (24:36):
What's your name? What neighborhood you waking up with me?

Speaker 8 (24:38):
And I am fella.

Speaker 10 (24:39):
I am from New Rochrans all.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
Right, I knew. Thank you for the call. I could
count on you this morning to help me through this.
If you're just walking into the conversation for the first time,
I had asked, are you willing to spend forty five
hundred dollars on someone that you're dating? Because I am
thinking about pressing purchase on a t ticket to Vietnam,

(25:01):
but I'm a little hesitant, and I've worked on flexing
my gut and my intuition in the last couple of years,
but I just couldn't quite get there. And so we're
kind of debriefing that together this morning.

Speaker 6 (25:12):
If you love someone, tip, the limit does not exist,
buy that plane ticket.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
If you guys break up, I don't like women, but.

Speaker 11 (25:20):
I'll date you.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
Let's go I'll go to Vietnam. I'll go anywhere with you.
What I am on NERD. You're waking up with Tiff
in the morning. One, good morning.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
If you're looking to go to Renee rapping Columbus and
you have the keyword that I mentioned a few minutes ago,
go ahead and start calling five win three seven four
nine one seven one. We're in the midst of chit
chatting on whether or not I should hit purchase on
a four thousand, five hundred dollars plane ticket for a
trip to Vietnam in November for someone that I'm dating.

(25:53):
And I haven't gotten a single not yet, so thank you, Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
Hey, TIF, good morning.

Speaker 9 (26:00):
I'd say just go ahead and take the trip. The
hell with it. You only live once and time can
changes so much.

Speaker 3 (26:06):
That's a really good piece of advice.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Yeah, if you're just walking into the convo there, I
was a little hesitant, and I couldn't quite tell if
it was a finance thing or if I was just nervous.
I would be meeting him and his friends for their
month long trip. I obviously wouldn't go for that long,
but traveling to Vietnam alone, there's a whole.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
Lot of things.

Speaker 8 (26:24):
Hey, Tiff, well, if you have the money for the flight,
and I say do it because I mean, I don't
know that's a hard thing, because I would feel the
same way. But I say do it because at the
end of the day, you only live once, and I mean,
when are you ever going to get to see Vietnam again?

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Bax.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
That was one thing I was hanging on to as well.
I love the yolo mentality of Sincy. This morning, five
win three seven, four, nine, one oh seven one. I
have one more open phone line for those renee rap
tickets if you want to go.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
Right now, you're wak enough. Six in the morning.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
Shout out to Megan Thompson from Dress for Success. Listening
to Tiff in the morning, She's like, you need to
book that trip to Vietnam. Hi, good morning, you're on
the air. I'm hoping that you have a keyword for me, Vietnam. Congratulations,
you got the keyword. You're going to renee wrap.

Speaker 11 (27:13):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (27:13):
Oh my god, congratulations, my gal. What's your name with neighborhood?

Speaker 3 (27:17):
You waking up with me in? Daisy from Parisield, Daisy,
thank you for listening to Tiff in the morning.

Speaker 8 (27:23):
Oh my god, Thank you.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
I appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
You know, we were just chit chatting about whether or
not I should book this plane ticket to Vietnam.

Speaker 3 (27:30):
Would you like to give me your insight.

Speaker 10 (27:32):
I think you should go, because even if it doesn't
end up well, you still have that trip like in
your pocket already.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Okay, nothing like being gas lit by Cincinnati this morning, and.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
I appreciate that. Thank you very very much.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
You'll have to get caught up on the podcast, but
I'm thinking about hitting purchase on the plane ticket. It's
a hefty one, but I liked your take this morning.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
Thank you for that.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
If you took the Renee, if you took the Elle
on the rene Wrap tickets, I do have another chance.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
For you to win for the Friday show Tom already thirty.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
She's performing in Columbus next week and I hear really
good things about that show. Okay, two songs from now.
Three things you need to know to get your day
started in Sincy. Instagram finally addresses whether or not they
listen to you on your phone. Okay, if you're you
know you can get those ads you think about. Some

(28:24):
of you talk about something to your friends and then
you get an ad for it. Twenty minutes later.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
How does that happen? I'll get to that next Glenn.
You need to know she's got you. It's three things
with tip on kiss when I was seven.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
One did you pay your rent yesterday? If not, I
have a thousand bucks for you coming up around nine
oh five. I can't get a temperature check on how
Cincinnati feels about the Reds last night, maybe because it
happened so late in the evening, but I would assume
that the sentiment around Cincinnati is that we're a little

(28:58):
on the bummed out side. Taken the l in the
second wild card game, which has officially eliminated.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
Us, But Tito did take us.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
To the playoffs for the first time, I'm sorry, in
the first time in a while, but in his first
you know year with us. So I think that's something
to look good, you know, look out for. But here's
Ellie da la Cruise yesterday. Nothing puts a smile on
my face more like an Ellie moment.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
I just it was it was fun. It was fun.
First time in the postseason. It was fun.

Speaker 5 (29:30):
I just got I say, like, we gotta go work
harder last year, and there's a lot of stuff we
gotta get better, and I come.

Speaker 3 (29:38):
Back last year and here's Terry Francona.

Speaker 7 (29:42):
Every time you asked him to do something, they tried
to do it, which isn't always the case.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
So I guess we'll just have to look forward to
opening day next March. By the way, they open up
against my Boston Red Sox, which I love, and Terry
Francona took the Socks to win the World Series in
two thousand and four and seven, so I think that'll

(30:09):
be a good moment. Okay, second and three things you
need to know. I wonder if you feel the same
way about your phone sometimes? Is Instagram is meta listening
to me?

Speaker 3 (30:21):
Well?

Speaker 1 (30:21):
Adam Ontosori, CEO of IG, put out a video explaining
how some of those targeted ads are out, and I
figured you could take something from this.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
It is a little long, so hang tight.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
A myth busting video about something I've had a lot
of passionate conversations.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
About, maybe at least a few.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
Two or three with my wife as well, which is,
we do not listen to you. We do not use
the phone's microphone to ease drop on you. Now, first
of all, if we did, it would be a gross
violation of privacy. You would drain your phones battery and
you would notice and you would actually see a little
light on the top of the screen letting you know
that the microphone was on. But even if you don't
believe any of that, let me explain why you might

(31:01):
see an ad for something that you recently talked to
somebody about. One, maybe you actually tapped on something that
was related or even searched for that product online on
a website, maybe before you had that conversation. We actually
do work with advertisers who share information with us about
who was on our website to try to target those
people with ads. So if you were looking at a

(31:23):
product on a website, that advertiser might have paid us
to reach you with an ad.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
Two.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
We show people ads that we think that they're interested in,
or products we think they're interested in, in part based
on what their friends are interested in and what similar
people what similar interests are interested in. So it could
be that you were talking to someone about a product
and they before had actually looked for or searched for
that product, or that in general, people with similar interests
were doing the exact same thing.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
He also went on to say that it is sometimes
purely a coincidence, so you wanted to clear that up. Also,
something in the social media world with Snapchat, if you're
a user of the app, they just announced that it
will begin charging users who save more than five gigs
in Memories, which has been free since twenty sixteen. So

(32:12):
if you're a big archives person on Snapchat, be wear
that one and then lastly and three things.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
You need to know.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
We are hours away from a brand new Taylor Swift
album and we need to pick me up around here.
We need something to look forward to, So Kiss is
your home for all things Taylor. Tonight at midnight it'll

exclusive content from Taylor. If you would like to listen
at home, search Kiss on the iHeartRadio app. Also, starting

we're doing every hour a new era on Kiss one
oh seven one, so you hear different tailor music. And then,
if you're an in person person high Ball Cincy you
might be familiar with the bar. Its right around the
corner from Finley. It's free and it's open to all ages.
They're doing Taylor Swift marathon with us, so they hit

(33:02):
play on the first Taylor album in the seven o'clock
hour and they will not stop until the release of
Life of a show Girl tonight at midnight. Feel free
to stop by at any point. I think I'll go
later in the evening, closer to the album release, and
I would love to have you there, Okay, all right
that is And then, of course if you are like
I don't know if I can commit to really any
of that, Tiffany, I will debrief it all for you

(33:25):
tomorrow morning for New Music Friday and three Things you
need to Know. Okay, that's it for October second three
things coming up at nine oh five. A chance to
secure that thousand dollars around nine oh five ish now
might be a good time to start testing out the
iHeartRadio AM so you don't miss anything search Kiss one
oh seven one Good morning.

Speaker 6 (33:44):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning Kiss on
seven one Good morning.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
Would you spend four thousand, five hundred dollars hunt someone
you were dating? You're walking into the daily debrief right
around this time. Every day we revisit something that we
talked about earlier in the show, giving you a chance
to get caught up, especially if you're just starting your day.
Maybe we get to some calls that we didn't really

(34:10):
get to in the moment starting with this one.

Speaker 7 (34:12):
Think, to be honest, I think the money is a
little bit more in your favor because you're getting the
experience out of it.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Okay, and it's.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
Already planned out.

Speaker 7 (34:24):
You know, they've already got they've already got friends there going.
They planned it out for I would assume the past year,
and you just get to jump in and kind of
have fun with it. So I think, definitely go and
experience it, and you know, at the end of the day,
if you guys don't end up together, you get an
experience out of.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
Ith Brad from Covington, the Voice of Reason this morning.
We also have this feature called talk Back with Tiff.
It's on the iHeartRadio app. When you search kiss, the
microphone is in the top right hand corner.

Speaker 3 (34:54):
Hold that down.

Speaker 9 (34:54):
You got thirty seconds, Hey, tif morn cold beer got
I'd say just go ahead, take the trip.

Speaker 8 (35:00):
The hell with it.

Speaker 9 (35:01):
You only live once and time can changes so much.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
Yeah that may you make a really great point on
that one.

Speaker 8 (35:06):
Too, Hey Tiff, Well, if you have the money, for
the fight, and I say to it because.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
You know, I didn't get a single no from someone,
not one singular no from someone.

Speaker 10 (35:20):
Go to Vietnam.

Speaker 8 (35:20):
Please let me know my dad passed away in September
two years ago and his wish was for.

Speaker 4 (35:26):
His ashes to be scattered in Vietnam.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
What no, we.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
Would you give me your father's ashes to take to
Vietnam and entrust me with that? You know I'm down,
but I need to know more about this. Thank you
for the talkback with Tiff. The microphone I get, like
I said, is in the top right hand corner of
the app. We might have to even revisit this conversation
tomorrow and go a little further into it. If you
want to know why wait, why wait a minute, hold on,

(35:53):
why are you? Why would you even consider spending forty
five hundred dollars four thousand plus dollars on a plane
ticket to Vietnam in November?

Speaker 3 (36:02):
Get caught up on the podcast today.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
We had lots of different answers, most of them being yes.
To be transparent, just search tip in the morning on
the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
Okay, good morning,

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
