Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because you're waking up with fifth in the morning time.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Well, good morning, good morning.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
It really does feel like fall outside right now.
Speaker 4 (00:10):
Now.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
I know it won't last permanently.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
If you haven't looked at the ten day or at
least on the iPhone, it says sunny and in the eighties.
So I'll take that as we transition from the best
season to what some would consider the second best season.
It might even be your favorite. I know that I
have switched fully over to pumpkin coffee, and I am
(00:34):
not leaving the house these days without some sort of
long sleeve sweatshirt, lighter jacket.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
It's here.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
I'm sure if you watched the Bengals game yesterday, whether
it was outside. A friend of mine was having a
Bengals pool party yesterday, so it's kind of like the
coming together of both worlds summer and fall. But if
you're outside watching the game, I hope you enjoyed it.
It'll be a time to hang with the family, etc.
We'll kind of debrief on the weekend a little bit
more in our seven o'clock hour. But I did this
(01:08):
one Cincinnati staple for the very very first time, like
my very first experience, and I'm gonna start putting the
visuals up at the tiff to F's Potter like the Wizard.
I cannot believe that I've lived in this city for
nearly seven years and i have never stepped foot into
this iconic since he staple.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
So if you can, if.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
You, if you, if you're a visual person, you can
get a jump on social. But if you can stay
with me, we'll have this sin more coming up in
our seven o'clock hour. The best way to keep listening
to TIF in the morning is by searching Kiss one
oh seven one on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Lynn, you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with TIF on Kiss when I was seven one.
Speaker 5 (01:54):
I'll take it. They depend on how the film looked.
So we'll Washington and try to get better.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
You know what that?
Speaker 3 (02:00):
I think is the sentiment of every Bengal fan this morning. Hi,
We'll give me a hot second. Of course, that was
Joe Burrow. We're just before seven o'clock on Monday, September eighth.
Right now, it's forty seven degrees high's in the eighties
with beautiful sunshine over the next several days. If you
look at the ten day forecast. It is gorgeous out there,
and it's that time of year where temperatures.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Just flex like forty degrees within one day.
Speaker 6 (02:24):
All right.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Yeah, we ended up squeaking by with the win yesterday
seventeen to sixteen against the Cleveland Browns and the NFL
opener for us, And I think that that was the
sentiment from every Bengal fan of like, hey, we needed
the win. Was kind of ugly, but we got it done.
Here's more Joe Burrow for you.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
It was obviously frustrating at times, but you know, we
made enough plays to win, so.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
That was good. Yeah, here's coach Zach Taylor as well.
Speaker 7 (02:54):
We knew there's gonna be adversity. There's always adversity week one.
There's always adversity when we play Cleveland. There's always adversity
when on the road at Cleveland. It's never simple. And
so for guys just to find a way to win
it there at the end, proud of them. The best
outcome of this game was want to.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Know, that's exactly what I was thinking.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
It was just nice to go into the season with
a winning record for once. Right.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
The last time we did that, I believe was in
twenty twenty one.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
So next game is home. We're see a home opener
for us against the Jaguars. One o'clock kick next Sunday.
All right, second, and three things you need to know
this morning. Raise a hands. How many of you watched
the VMA's last night. I wouldn't be surprised that the
answer was no. Let me get the full debrief for you.
Major award categories Video of the Year was Ariana Grande.
(03:35):
Here's a quick clip for you.
Speaker 8 (03:37):
Art has been a safe space for me since I
was a kid. I'm so grateful that I get to
do this with my life, and so I have such
fiercely loving and supportive fans.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
That was for brighter days. Lady Gaga accepted Artist of
the Year.
Speaker 9 (03:49):
And so my partner in all things, Michael. Creating this
year with you was a beautiful, beautiful tream and you
have been my partner every step of the way.
Speaker 6 (04:03):
I dedicate this to you, to my love.
Speaker 9 (04:05):
I wish I could stay and watch all these amazing performances.
Speaker 6 (04:08):
I have to go back to Madison Square Garden.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
I love you, so get this.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
Lady Gaga is on tour right now, and she happened
to be in New York for the tour at the time,
so I think she used a pre recorded segment of
her concert for some of her performance, but she was
bouncing back between the two. Mariah Carey accepted this year's
Video Vanguard Award.
Speaker 10 (04:28):
Here she is, thank you so much MTV for giving
me the Vanguard Award. I can't believe I'm getting my
first VMA tonight. I just have one question, what in
the sam hell.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Were you waiting for?
Speaker 3 (04:48):
Wild to me that Mariah Carey has never won a VMA.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Isn't that who?
Speaker 3 (04:53):
I believe the artist that has the most wins of
all time is Taylor Swift, or it could be Beyonce.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Get the confused with the Grammys.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Song of the Year went to Rose and Bruno Mars
for APT and Best New Artist of the Year went
to Alex Warrant, Who'll be in Cincia in about six
or so weeks.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
All right.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Lastly, in three things you Need to Know this morning,
we did not have an Ohio winner for the Giant
Powerball jackpot. The winning ticket was sold or two winning
tickets were sold in Texas and Missouri. It was very
highly talked about last week. Without weeks after weeks without
a winner. We've got one point eight billion dollars, marking
(05:35):
it the second largest prize in US history. Like I said,
one ticket was sold in Missouri and one was sold
in Texas. They now have the choice of a one
time cash payout of about four hundred and ten million
or a thirty year annuity totally over eight hundred and
twenty million. Who all right, that is three things you
(05:58):
need to know for a September eighth coming up up
at seven oh five.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
We're commercial free on this Monday, and.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
I would love to have you if you have not
tested out our talk back with Tip feature. It's like
leaving me a voice now. The microphone is in the
top right hand corner. When you search Kiss on iHeartRadio,
say good morning. Let me know how the weekend was.
Be the first to join the show.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
You're waking up fIF kiss.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
I didn't watch an ounce of football yesterday, not one snap.
Speaker 6 (06:26):
Oh girl, Well that's why I'm here, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Sarah at last, jumping in for chit Chat Roulette.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Every Monday right around this time, we add five minutes
to the clock. And if you didn't scroll your phone,
if you took a break from pop culture. It took
a break from Cincy. We run through all the topics
in one five minute span.
Speaker 11 (06:44):
Go ahead, go twelve hours yesterday I was sat Chat
Joe Burrow and the Bengals were back at it. They
got the win over the Browns. Hey, it wasn't pretty, okay.
They know they've got things they have to work on.
And Joe even said that after the game and a
press conference, he goes, you know, we struggled offensively.
Speaker 6 (07:03):
It didn't look good.
Speaker 11 (07:05):
We'll watch the tape and we'll fix it. Okay, So
no worries, but hey, a win is a win. The
Battle of Ohio belongs to Cincinnati.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Thank god. It was our first win. I read since
twenty twenty one.
Speaker 11 (07:17):
Reason twenty twenty one, and that's when we went to
the Super Bowl. So is this setting up for a
successful season? Hopefully they're back at home this weekend. Thank god.
Ready to see those guys at peycor Stadium one o'clock kickoff.
They are a three and a half point favorite over
the Jacksonville Jaguars. And don't forget to wear your orange
(07:39):
for the big orange outs.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
I'm just thinking about the bank being down at the
banks in the middle of like eleven block on Sundays.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
I mean, I think the weather is still gonna be nice.
Knock on wood, Okay. I love that.
Speaker 11 (07:53):
It is such a vibe. And for all of you
that love summer, tif, I know that's you. Back this weekend,
we're looking at high eighties for the weekend. It's going
to be almost ninety degrees for that game on Sunday.
I'm a fall girly and I'm not a fan of this.
I'm like, no, we're going backwards.
Speaker 6 (08:12):
I was so excited.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
I did put the heat of the heat seater on
in my car today.
Speaker 6 (08:17):
Isn't that the best?
Speaker 1 (08:18):
I feels so good.
Speaker 11 (08:19):
It was like, what forty five this morning? That's my vibe.
That's what I like. Also, in the world of sports,
our Cincinnati Reds are not out of it. They are
four back in the wild Card. They took two out
of three from the Mets over the weekend. We're not
going to see a whole lot of Reds action though,
because they are going to the West Coast.
Speaker 6 (08:36):
All of their games are at like ten o'clock at night.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
See how many games do we have left?
Speaker 11 (08:41):
I think we've got nineteen and it's a little tough,
they go out West, and then they finish out the
season with four different series against all of our divisional opponents. Okay,
so we'll see. But again it's not over. So still
cheer on your Reds and know that the season is
still going on. I know it's confusing with football still
and we lose sight of the red but they're still
(09:01):
very relevant.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
VMA's were last night. Raise your hand if you watched
them live.
Speaker 6 (09:08):
Cannot say I was part of that.
Speaker 11 (09:10):
I was watching the Ravens and the Bells also a
really great game.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
It was Hailey Steinfeld in the crowd.
Speaker 6 (09:15):
They did not show her.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
They didn't show her, okay, and was Taylor in Brazil.
Speaker 6 (09:20):
Taylor did not make it to Brazil and the Chiefs lost.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Well, the VMAs were last night.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
I too did not watch them live, but I love
watching the clips the next day, and I think the
VMAs were always one of my favorites. There are two
award shows that I sit around for now as the
Oscars and the Grammys. Yes, but these ones come in
kind of as like a tight third, and really, if
I had the cable, I would watch it live.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Big winners.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
Mariah Carey picked up her first ever VM which was
it for her Christmas song or no it was a
Video Vanguard Award okay. Also, Pop Artists of the Year
went to Sabrina Carpenter. Video Music Award of the Year
went to Ariana.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Grind Day Artist of the Year.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
Went to Lady Gaga and Alex Warren picked up Best
New Artists.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Of the Year. Those are usually like the core four
or five.
Speaker 6 (10:08):
Dude, I love it. It's all about the pop.
Speaker 11 (10:09):
Girl is now very trendy and I saw our girl,
Kate McCrae put on a performance for Real Sports Car.
I think I've watched it over and over. I think
I have the dance moves memorized.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
And Sabrina Carpenter let me pull up. I actually play
a clip. She performed Tears Off for her new album
for the first time and it was giving Britney Spears.
Speaker 6 (10:43):
Our little Polly Pocket princess for sure.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
What are your thoughts on Britney lately?
Speaker 11 (10:48):
A Britney Spears, I think she's out of her mind
and I wish somebody would help her out.
Speaker 6 (10:52):
Her videos terrifying.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
Do you think we made a mistake in wishing for
her freedom and the conservatorship?
Speaker 11 (10:58):
Oh? I don't know about that, but I don't know why.
No one's helping her. Unfortunately, I can't do anything to
help her.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
She's just whirling around in that foyer.
Speaker 6 (11:07):
Yeah, the foyer turns there.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
The videos make me uncomfortable. I don't watch them. I
don't engage with them.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
I just move on.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
When something is uncomfortable for me on social media, I
scroll right past it.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Yes, it's like a car accident for some where, they'll watch.
I can't. I just gives me anxiety.
Speaker 11 (11:21):
It makes me sad because she was such an icon
for so long, and you know what, she still is
an icon to most, but it's really tough to see
her struggle. Somebody that we saw pop up yesterday at
the VMA's who had not been there in what eighteen years?
Speaker 6 (11:36):
Jessica Simpson girl and looking good.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Speaking of Jessica Simpson, quick Quick, Chicken of the Sea,
Tune of the Sea, Nick Lache's tweet.
Speaker 6 (11:48):
Girl, he is getting a dragged Nick, just go back
to singing or don't. I don't know. It's all bad
the singing.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
I will leave it there. And that means how we're
still commercial for good Morning.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, kiss, good morning.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
What's the optimal time to eat breakfast every day? They'll
have to forget for peak performance and to live longer,
they'll have to forgive my voice.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
I'm struggling a little bit.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
I don't know what it is, but I have a
hard time with hot beverages and I'm choking down this
hot water with lemon right now.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Eight am.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Eight am is the time to eat breakfast for not
only peak performance, but also to live longer. Adults are
somewhere between their later twenties and beyond tend to delay
eating breakfast later and later and later, and results. According
to this article that peaked my interest this morning, each
additional hour of delayed breakfast is tied to an eleven
(12:50):
percent increase in the odds of dying during a research period.
Oh my god, it's probably because we're all living off
a black coffee and no food. So eight am is
the optimal time to consume your breakfast, and if you
can do it around the same time every day, you'll
have peak performance in your life. I hope I was
able to bring a little joy to yours. If not, well,
(13:10):
we're commercial free for a little bit longer. We're two
songs away from Three Things, don't go far. When you
need to know She's got you, it's three Things with
tif on.
Speaker 7 (13:23):
There's gonna be adversity. There's always adversity Week one. There's
always adversity when we play Cleveland. There's always adversity when
we're on the road at Cleveland. It's never simple. And
so for guys just to find a way to win
it there at the end, proud of them. The best
outcome of this game was want to.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Know, Yeah that you heard it there. That was coach
Zach Taylor.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
I think it's the same sentiment for all Cincinnatians this morning.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
We started off with the win, and we'll take it.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
We are just before eight o'clock on September eighth. Temperatures
are bumping into the sixties as we kind of speak.
Actually it's probably more like fifty five ish, and we
will eventually see eighties with sunshine for the.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Next seven rule days in a row.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
It's that time of year where temperatures flex in like
a forty degree pattern within the same day. Okay, so
the Bengals won yesterday seventeen to sixteen. First time that
we had a win in the first game since twenty
twenty one, and I just it was just pointed out
to me that we did go to the Super Bowl
that year that we had won our first game. Was
(14:22):
it pretty not necessarily, Here's Joe Burrow.
Speaker 5 (14:26):
I'll take it. They depend on how the film looked.
So we'll Washington and try to get better.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
Man, They're back at home Sunday against the Jaguars one
o'clock kick. Rather, we'll be down at the banks with
Sunshine John John's Jungle Zone.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
I'm looking forward to it, all right.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
And by the way, the other trending games or the
bill Buffalo Bills last night coming back and winning by
like twenty points with four minutes left in the game.
It's giving Tom Brady era.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
All right.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
Second, and three things you need to know the VMAs
were last night. If you didn't watch them live, no worries.
I'll have the full debrief for you here. Lady Gaga
accepted Best Artist of the Year, Mariah Carey had the
Video Vanguard Award. Sabrina Carpenter performed Post Malone, and Jelly
Roll performed. Tate McCrae many others. There was an Ozzy
(15:19):
Osbourne tribute. In fact, I've got a little clip of
that for you right here. Crazy yeah, And I would
say the core four winners, like I said, Lady Gaga
(15:42):
Artists Ariana Grande Video Music Award. Here's a quick clip
of that for the Best Music Video of the Year.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
All Right.
Speaker 8 (15:51):
Has been a safe space for me since I was
a kid. I'm so grateful that I get to do
this with my life and to have such fiercely loving
and supportive fans.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
And this, by the way, is she announced that she
has going on tour next year, and we're not far
off from getting a new Wicked movie. And then lastly,
Alex Warren accepted Best New Artist of the Year.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
All Right.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
Lastly, and three things you need to know this morning,
let's do a little movie TV debrief. We've got a
new box office reigning champion from this weekend, and that
is from none other than The Conjuring. Now, you gotta
tell me your thoughts on horror and scary.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Movies because I can't. I can't do it.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
And I feel like there hasn't really been a whole
lot in the box office since the Superman movie came
out well over a month ago. I mean, there are
a few things, right, like the freaky.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Or Friday movies and theaters.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
There's one called cot Stealing right now, by the way,
that also came in within the top three, but the
Conjuring came in at number one. And I'm hearing it's
so scary that people are literally saying prayers like before
and after.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
I mean, I'm all set. I'm all set. I don't
need to watch that. I'm good.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
You'll have to let me know what your thoughts are
on scary movies. Actually, if you and I haven't connected
yet on the talkback feature microphone is in the top
right hand corner of the iHeartRadio app. But talk back
with tip let me know your thoughts on it coming
up in our eight o'clock hour, so we're commercial free.
I have I have a story to tell you about
what I did yesterday. I didn't watch a single snap
(17:23):
of football because I was visiting this Cincinnati staple for
the very first time. I cannot believe I've lived here
for nearly ten years and I've never gone to this
one since e Staple. If you are a visual person,
I'm gonna put it up in our stories at Kiss
one oh seven. Go ahead and tap through them, and
we're gonna talk about it.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Next you're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
My yeah, I didn't watch a single snap of football yesterday,
not one. No, you're gonna you're either gonna be shocked
or you're gonna be so mad at me. I went
to this one Cincinnati staple yesterday for the first time.
I have lived in Sincy for seven years, and I
(18:10):
call it home. Like when I'm traveling and people say, hey,
where are you from, I say Cincinnati. Now I don't
even mention Boston much anymore. That's how attached to the
tri state that I am. And I cannot believe that
I hadn't gone to this one place until yesterday. So
grocery store is the keyword that you're gonna need to win.
(18:31):
The Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets coming up within the next
ten or so minutes. Did you hear that they announced
their dates early November?
Speaker 2 (18:37):
They'll be in Sincy.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
Tickets aren't on sale yet, so I've got them before
the pre sale even happens on Thursday. With the keyword
grocery store. By now you know what I'm talking about, right, Okay?
I went to Jungle Gyms for the first time ever
yesterday and girl.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
What I mean.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
Eightyhding all over that grocery store or it was just
like but bann bam, bam, bam bam. If you're a
visual person and you want the joys of what it's
like to experience it for the first time again at
the TIF to F's Potter like the Wizard, I'm gonna
put up all my favorite things that I found, all
the randomness. I would also love to have a conversation
with you on it. Right now, it's one sided. It's
me just sharing that. Couldn't you know my experience? But
(19:20):
talk back with Tip be the first to join the
show today. The microphone is in the top right hand corner.
You can also call me or shoot me a DM
as well. So I had never been, and I've always
heard about jungle gyms, right, I just hadn't made it there.
And I have no excuse other than I just hadn't gone.
And so I walk in. I probably spend ten minutes
(19:42):
in the first ile alone to the point where I.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
Say, oh my God, like I gotta keep moving.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
And there are so many snacks by the way for
anyone that had I mean, I thought maybe I'd be
the only one in Sincy, but just in case you
two haven't gone to Jungle Gyms yet, it's off of
two seventy five. There's a movie theater inside, which I loved,
because you know, I love the movies. But it's just
a really special especial market, and I was surprised that
(20:10):
they had as many classic grocery store items. I forgot
that we were in a legitimate grocery store, so they
have all the classic grocery store items. But then there
are aisles upon aisles of things from different cultures and
different food groups. And it's just an experience, and millennials
love experiences, especially food experiences.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
And it was just great.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
I had made my way up and down the aisles.
I got the most random things. I got Japanese chips alhuai,
and they weren't good, and I wonder if it's because
they don't use the same chemicals that we know. I
got any coffees, I've.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Got some spreads.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
I was the honey aisle was recommended to me, so
I did explore that I didn't see any live seafood.
I heard that they used to put crabs in boxes.
I didn't see those.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
What else?
Speaker 3 (20:59):
Oh, of course I experienced not only the cheese section,
but before I went to the cheese section, I popped
over to the grocery store alcohol section, and you know
your girl had a planning beer it was, and I
went with a pumpkin one. So I had one drink yesterday.
And it had nothing to do with the Bengals. Although
(21:20):
there were guys surrounding the TVs while I think, you know,
the rest of their family shopped, I didn't watch a
single snap. Instead, I went to the most iconic grocery
store that Cincinnati might have and a's ten out of
ten experience.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
I walked out there. In fact, you know what it was.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
It was like walking on a hard rock in the
middle of the day, maybe during the winter. If you
go and gamble or sports gamble, you walk in there,
at one point you walk out and it's still daylight.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
That was me.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
I got sucked in. It was like two hours. All right,
talk back with TIV. Grocery store is the keyword. You're
gonna need doing the TSO tickets coming up in a
few five, one, three, seven, four, nine, one oh seven one.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Do you mind sharing your jungle gym's experiences with me?
Speaker 3 (21:58):
Hi Goodborn in you're waking up with Ta in the
morning on Kiss one O seven one.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Grocery store is the keyword.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
You're gonna need to win the tso tickets here in
a few minutes. They just announced they're coming to Sincy
early November, and the tickets haven't even hit pre sale yet,
so give us a few.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
We're getting to that and we're shot. We're shotting about
jungle Gyms.
Speaker 9 (22:19):
My thoughtful husband goes through jungle gyms every Christmas to
buy me candy from.
Speaker 6 (22:26):
Around the world.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
That's such a good gift.
Speaker 6 (22:29):
It's so fun.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
I love that. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
You're the first one to do that on the show
today and I really appreciate it. Or else, it's just
me talking in this box by myself. The microphone is
in the top right hand corner of the iHeart app
If you too want to leave me a little voice notes, Ski,
if you're just walking into the conversation for the first time,
I went to jungle Gyms for the first time ever, ever, yesterday.
(22:55):
I've lived in Cincy for nearly seven years and I
had just.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
Gone Okay, so you definitely went to jungle gym. Yeah,
but the important question is which location did you go to? Girl?
There's more than one. Where's the other one?
Speaker 3 (23:11):
I went to the main campus with the animals, like
the Safari animals on the roof, right with the gorillas.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
That's the one in Eastgate near the mall. That's the
one I went to.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
I would say my favorite part was not surprising the
alcohol section, because I love the idea of having a
planning beer while you figure out what it is that.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
You're gonna have for dinner.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
If you guys haven't started having planning beers yet, or
a planning beverage. Usually right around two to four o'clock
on the weekends, I will have a beverage and that's
where I come up with the plan for the rest
of the afternoon.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Now, and I was able to do that in the
grocery store.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
A pumpkin beer at Jungle Gym is so good. Your
chance to win TSO tickets coming up in three minutes.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on kiss
one O seven to one.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
I mean, I'm hoping you have a keyword from me store.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
Congratulations your collar ten. You're going to Trans Siberian Orchestra.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
Girl, I'm so excited.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
I absolutely love that show.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
Yeah, I've gone. I went one time. I would love
to go back. The tickets aren't even on sale yet,
so I'm glad you're able to secure yours.
Speaker 9 (24:19):
Yes, thank you.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
And I only went one time too, so this is
my second. I'm excited.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
Okay, great, what's your name? What aighb? Already waking up
with me.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
And Rachel from Dalahaigh Rachel Happy Monday to Yeah. We
were chit chatting about jungle gyms. That's why the keyword
was grocery store.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
Have you been?
Speaker 1 (24:35):
I have? And the other location is actually the main
location is in Fairfield.
Speaker 9 (24:39):
That's the original store.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
What you got to go to?
Speaker 1 (24:41):
The Fairfield one?
Speaker 3 (24:42):
Yes, So the satellite campus with the Safari rail trail
on the top is not even the main campus.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
So the Fairfield one is the original and the East
State one is the second.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Yeh girl, Okay, well, I'm glad that you called in
and filled me in on that. Thank you so much
for waking up with Tiff in the morning. Thank you
if you took an l on these every day this week,
I've got tso tickets okay, And I was like.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Are we really doing that already?
Speaker 3 (25:12):
It's September. But now I'm full send on it. I'm ready,
I am Alrea. We are turning the leaves literally. John
John also has you two in the afternoon, so that's
something to look forward to throughout the week. All Right,
my voice is really really starting to make me out.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
It's just like, what's going on here? Well, I don't
want tea.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
I've been drinking hot water with lemon in it, and
it's like, oh, thanks for your patience with it. Two
songs from now, we're gonna get into the three things
you need to know to.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
Get your day started. In Sinsey. We're gonna have a
little Joe Burrow.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
We're gonna have a little Bangals, We're gonna have a
little VMA's. We're gonna have the Powerball winner, all of
that in morning.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
Good morning, it's mental health Monday. Lori Sharpage is our.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
Licensed clinical counselor comes on for just a few minutes
of feel good advice that maybe you'll be able to
use today.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
And for the week. Set us up on the right foot.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
Because we can't cure it all in one morning, but
we can't certainly help you out a little bit.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
Absolutely, good morning.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
So you told me before we went live that we're
going to end up on a yacht somewhere?
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Yes, absolutely, tell me more so.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
A lot of I agree, right, A lot of us
have the ability to often think about the worst, worst,
worst case scenario, right.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Especially on a Sunday scary like Monday morning.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
Oh it's piling yeah, oh yeah, absolutely, And so in
order to interrupt that hat habit, because we can't just
be thinking about the worst case scenario all the time.
We also have to balance it with the best case
scenario all the time.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
And in my world, the best case scenario is we
end up on a yacht down the Ohio. Here we go,
do you want to cut water? I love it. I
love the vision.
Speaker 4 (26:59):
So I really prompt myself anytime I've had one of
those worst case scenario thoughts to have to think of
a best case scenario thought and dot dot dot yacht
is my tool for doing so.
Speaker 6 (27:08):
And it's not just about the yacht.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
I mean, it started about the yacht, but it's not
just about it because it also stands for you also
could have thought so.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
A minute, hold on one more time.
Speaker 6 (27:18):
You also could have You also could have thought.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
Okay, so that is an acronym for yacht. Yes, Ella,
it is. It is all right, So no vote, but yes.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
Now okay, but if yacht is not your thing, that
way you know it can be whatever you want. Just
kind of imagine what is that best case scenario. You
don't have to believe it, you don't have to spend
a lot of time thinking about it. But by just
doing that, by just prompting yourself to have that more
positive best case scenario thought, you're interrupting that catastrophizing and
helping yourself stay out of the spiral, which is what
(27:48):
we want, right Okay.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Any other tips I need to know? What about this one?
I like this well.
Speaker 4 (27:53):
I think as much time as you can spend on
your imaginary yacht, the better. I think it's good for
your mental health. And like I said, it also interrupts
some of those old patterns that a lot of us
have that our brain uses to keep us safe.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
But we don't always need to stay safe.
Speaker 4 (28:08):
Sometimes we need to really focus on what is going
to make us feel good.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
Okay, So quickly, if it's a Monday morning and I'm
spiraling about work and that's my negative thought, what would
be a good example of the yacht theory for work.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
Really, I would say something good that could happen at work.
So maybe you're really worried about the outcome of the
meeting and you're stressing about what that outcome could be.
Are you also thinking about what the good outcome in
that situation with the best case scenario income.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
Lori's sharp pagees are Coping Queen. That's her handle. You
can find her on Instagram for coping tips, et cetera.
You can also book her for corporate gigs. My Gala's
out here speaking.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
Thank you, Laurie. I appreciate you.
Speaker 6 (28:46):
Thank you.
