One, Hi, good morning, Good morning. What did you watch
this weekend? We typically do this on Mondays and sometimes
on Fridays heading into the weekend. This was a weekend
designed for television or movies, and I did both. Didn't
it feel nice that every single plan that you were

lined up for was essentially canceled?

Such a good feeling.

I watched two shows, a game and a movie.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
That's how much I consumed.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
So first of all, I finally went and saw Beetlejuice
at Showcase Cinema. Definitely a Timbert movie. Thought it was
done well. That's been out in the theater on for
a little while, but since we're kicking off Halloween month,
tomorrow might be a good one for you to go see.
Speaking of Showcase, they're giving me an inside.

Look at the new Joker movie with Lady Gaga.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
And Joaquin Phoenix tonight, so I'll have the full rundown

Big one on Netflix is Nobody Wants This and the
Perfect Couple. Perfect Couple's been out for a little while,
but I'm behind because I have to Netflix password share
with someone, so sometimes I can get on, sometimes I can't.
Nobody wants this is great, such a great show. I

think couples can watch it. It's you know, got some
sexual undertones for it. If you've got a family member
kind of chilling with you.

It's fine. Like I just thought it was done really well.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
It's about It's actually based off of two girls that
I think created was it Bumble or Hinge?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
And they've got this podcast.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
I kind of just learned about that part, so I'm
not an expert in it. But the show itself, I
finished it in one day and it was so good.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
It was like, you know, good love story.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
The one thing that stuck out to me besides the
humor and the fact that Andrew Brody is just bringing
back our oc dreams but in current a form, was
Kristen Bell's style. Whoever styled her in the show is
every gen Z and millennial combination stylist that we would

want keep your eyes out for that when you watch it.
Perfect couple also really good. That one's been trending over
the last couple of days. That's kind of a murder mystery.
I'm only two or three episodes into it, but it's
gott Nicole Kidman in it, and I thought that one
was done well.

So Netflix, Netflix took the crown this weekend.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
We should decide every Monday which platform takes the crown.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
I'm giving it to Netflix. Don't gatekeep.

I often say that when you go out on a
date or you're in an office setting with the coworker
and you don't really know what to talk to them about,
you can always talk to them about what they're watching
on TV. It's like the biggest universal topic of conversation.
