Speaker 1 (00:02):
For the K and I studios in the iHeartMedia building
that we share with the Random Bank downstairs.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
In a questionable area of Phoenix.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
It's Friday, April twenty fifth, National Hug.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Of Plumber Day on the Timm and Brooks Show.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
Woo woo.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
May I suggest someone at Mason Pro Services.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Okay, very huggable plumbers, the most huggable plumbers in the business.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
How's their plumbers crack?
Speaker 1 (00:24):
I've never seen it, so that's good. They keep their
pants up, very professional.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Love them all right. Today's top stories.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
The man was arrested last night in Morgan Wallin's bar,
not for throwing a chair off the roof, but we
actually that was Eric Church's bar. But he got us
a receipt from the bar and he wrote on the
back that he had a bomb.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Oh he said, I have a bomb.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Don't be a hero, followed by some curse words, and
so they had to evacuate the bar. Police had to
search for this bomb. Turns out there was no bomb.
The man was arrested and he was like, oh, I
was just joking.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Oh, not funny.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
So no, no.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
I wonder if immediately I thought of what we talked
about earlier in the week, these unhinged moments that people
go through when they break up. Had he just been
broken up with or maybe been rejected by some cutie
at the bar, so you.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Just make a bomb threat. That's probably the most unhinged
of all.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
The lady was ready to drive into Hex's house. Yeah,
but different unhinged.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Unhinged, yes, very much so.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
So they announced the next round of performers at the ACM.
So they had previously announced Eric Church, Lady Wilson, and
Blake Shelton.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
We knew that, but now this is stacked.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
They just announced Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Kelsey Ballerini, Alan Jackson,
Cody Johnson, Brooks and Dunn, Rascal Flats, Blake Shelton or sorry,
we already knew Blake Shelton, but that is oh Clint.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Black and went on a jud Oh hey cool, Yeah,
very very cool.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
And it's happening only on Prime May eighth, and Reba
is hosting for the eighteenth time.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
You know what else? Look like that had a pretty
good show. I couldn't be there because I was coaching softball.
But Carly Pierce last night at the Van Buren.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Yeah, you can see highlights on our Instagram at Knix
Country Truck on fire, you could you could see some
unhinged things happening in the in.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
The audience, and we actually hear on the K and
I X staff shot a little video to Russell Dickerson yesterday.
It's pretty cute.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah, you could check that out on our Instagram too.
I mean, you tell us who had the best dance moves.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, I'm not gonna say it was me, but it

Speaker 3 (02:27):
I challenged you, Okay, I challenged that eline. It's Tim
and Brook coming to you from the Sanderson Ford Studios
of K and I X f M Phoenix. Seven to
ten this morning, we're announcing it the big announcement. I
almost set it just down.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
I don't say it until seven ten.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
One O two five K and I X Jordan Davis
the reigning K and I X Secret Show, but not
for long. And that may or may not have something
to do with our big announcement at seven ten. I
ain't saying. I'm just saying. I mean, obviously we're not
being very secretive about it. At seven ten we're gonna
announce the next secret show. Don't tell me it not me. No,
(03:07):
that that's just a bonus for you people who listen early,
and we appreciate you. Thanks you a.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Little reward for being up this early.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Yeah, and shout out to all the people the trades
in the pickup truck rush hour. Look around right now,
it's mostly pickup trucks, people heading out to the job site.
It's getting light early, it's going to be hot later.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Yeah, we appreciate you.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
But also shout out to the moms that I know
are up with babies at this hour because their baby
won't sleep and they're just doom scrolling and listening to
us on iHeartRadio. And I know this because I used
to get messages oh yeah from women when I was
up at two am. All right, co Wetzel high Road
one O two five K and I X Today's Best
Country and.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
May twenty first, in surprise, we want to invite all
of our active duty members of veterans their families to
come on out for a k and IX Military appreciation meal.
We're going to be a bonfire, kitchen and tap house.
Our friends at Sanderson Ford are helping us pull this off,
just to say thanks for your service, for your sacrifice,
and to put up a good meal in your belly.
(04:09):
I was looking at the menu for Bonfire and it's
all just food that sticks to your ribs, comfort food.
Any restaurant that serves mashed potatoes and meat loaf, that's
a good restaurant.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
We should probably go beforehand just to taste test everything,
make sure everything's good.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
They got wood fired pizzas, great burgers, great appetizers. But
they just have good simple desserts too, Like they have
a Brookie.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Rookies are the best brownie and cookie.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
Yes, please, all right.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Just check out our instagram at Canitees Country our website
also and look for the military meal. You'll find the
phone number for the restaurant. You just gotta give them
a shout and let them know how many people are
coming for May twenty first. It's kind of like the
video for this song with our buddies from Old Dominion
on that ship with the families. We love it. There's
(04:59):
another former K and I Secret Show artist, the alum
Cole Swindell, where Tim and Brooke. This is the twenty
fifth of what is It?
Speaker 2 (05:10):
It's April, Tim, you got another month.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
I just we've been playing softball this week. We have
another game we have like four games in a row
this week and it's the end of the season. But anyway,
I lose track. Sorry, you got.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
Your days of the week underwhere do you need? Maybe
like put the month on top of them.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
Yeah, I might possibly could got some big shot birthdays
born on this day. This is the actor who played
Lord Anthony.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Bridgeton Jonathan Bailey.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Good for you. Yep, that's exactly right. This actor listening.
He was in your favorite movie. He was in one
of my favorite TV shows, and he was the voice
of Alvin Dave Seville and Alvin and the Chipmunks. He
was Earl Hickey and my Name is Earl, and he
was Jeff Beebie and almost oh, Jason Lee, Jason Lee.
(06:03):
I thought My Name Is Earl was a great show.
It came a win.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
It was with Jamie Presley.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
I never Jamie Presley was great.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
I never watched the show.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
It was pretty hokey, but I did see him. Jason
Lee was the guest host the one night I got
to see Saturday Night Live and Cool Food Fighters were
a musical guest. You would have loved it.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Oh yeah, By the way, Heartbreakers, I keep telling you
to watch the movie Heartbreakers he's in it, Sigourney Weaver,
Gene Hackman, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jason.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Lee, Heartbreakers, watch it. Let me write that down one
more here. Actress who was pretty popular for a while
then went away, and she was briefly married to Kenny Chesney.
And she's also the one who uttered the line you.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Had me from Hello, Renezelweger Reneslweger.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
He was phenomenal as Judy Garland in that movie.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
And didn't she just come back and make something, something new,
something fresh?
Speaker 2 (06:55):
She might have I gotta look it up.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
All right. We're Tim and brook It's one O two
five K and i X. Stick with us on this
Friday morning. One two five kN I X Happy Friday
from Tim and Brooks. Seven to ten. Big announcement. And
by the way, we've told you, when you listen on
the iHeartRadio app to King and i X, you can
set us as a preset on the app, just like
(07:17):
you do on the dashboard of your car. Setting us
as a preset could lead to winning prizes. Okay, very cool.
I may ask you to show us your app and
show us your presets. If that's not too personal, show
us your app. I never never asked anybody to show
me their precepts before.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
All right, you guys don't understand the choke hold that
Freddy Prince Junior had on my heart back in the day.
Every sleepover, re rerinted, shees all that or one of
his movies. I was in love with him and I
love him and Sarah Michelle Geller they were and I
know what you did last summer together.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
She was Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
They have been married for twenty two years, and we
all know in Hollywood that's basically one hundred and twenty
two years. People asked her, Hey, what's the secret, and
she said, believe it or not. Separate bathrooms. Oh, she said,
always have separate bathrooms. Now if they're multimillionaires, probably so
they can afford multiple bathrooms. But that is kind of
(08:15):
funny because I always heard separate vanities save marriages.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Two sinks save marriages. Do you agree agree with that?
Speaker 3 (08:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (08:24):
Yeah, So in our bathroom we have like what do
they call, like standalone vanity, so there's a gap between us.
We each have our own sink, own mirror, own drawers
to put stuff in.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
And I think that is a game changer.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Yeah, because if you know, he's shaving and he's got
all the stuff in there and he's messy.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
And you've got to do the dosey dough like sometimes
you do in the kitchen, right right, right right.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
So I think at least if we can't all afford
separate bathrooms, try to aim for two sinks in your bathroom,
and I think you'll be married longer.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Well. And so that's what she says, two separate bathrooms,
but I think more than they part. There's probably the
the toilet part, don't you That's what I want. That's
what I thought of immediately.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Yeah, you know these open concept bathrooms or you have
like the tub and then just the toilet out there.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
No, I need. We need to have a door.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
You need your own little private penalty box basically for
the for the toilet, for the stool.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
Yeah, listen, my husband has seen me give birth to
two children. There's nothing he hasn't seen. But he doesn't
need I don't want him to see that much.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
More importantly, you don't want to see what he does.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
So let's just have a door to our bathroom, and
I think we can all be married for a while.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
So I think, you know, this, this is gonna be
the category of must be nice. But if you have
a bathroom fan, like an exhaust fan just in your
general bathroom, that's good because you know, you got to
take the steam out of when you're whatever, taking a
shower or bath. But you really need a good fan
over that toilet.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Yep, especially if you're married to a man.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
Yep. Helpful tips we're providing this morning.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Yeah, we're just you know, helping couples.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
Last HGTV are you listening? Are you watching? This could
be a show or I've been brooke one O two five,
K and I X Lady A. They were a Knix
Secret Show artist and they were They had a special
place because they were the first one in a long
time because of the pandemic. So I think Old Dominion
was the last one. Then the world shut down and
(10:18):
we went more than a year without a can Ix
Secret Show.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Yeah, we were supposed to have one on Saint Patrick's Day.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Yeah, and yeah, obviously all hell broke loose, but Lady
A was so cool. They just the harmonies and see
them up close and then you don't realize how many
hits they had because they've been around since what two
thousand and ten six, maybe maybe before that yet you're
right anyway.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
But yeah, people weren't expecting it. And then to get
to see them in kN Ix Secret Show fashion, you know,
small venue, intimate vocals and you can hear harmonies and
there's not you're not being blown out by the band.
You're You're just it's just so good. And people were
surprised by that, Like nobody was guessing lady A, but
everybody walked out of there going, man, that was so cool.
(11:03):
Who's it gonna be? We don't know what secret show.
We haven't announced that, but we might. At seven ten
that was the worst tease. Oh you'd think, have you
heard what double elsman saying? My god? Like what a secret?
And no secret to the secret Show. It's Tim and
Brooke on this Friday. We will give you all the
details for this quote. Big announcement at seven ten one
(11:31):
o two five kni acts with Tim and Brooke just
dancing through a Friday morning. If you haven't heard our
iHeart Country World premiere of this brand new Chris Jansen
song just Wait, We're gonna play for you right around
seven o'clock, and then the big announcement at seven ten.
Now we try to alert you about new places that
are opening up. And there's a new bar in Scottsdale
(11:54):
called Liquor Pig. Liquor Pig sounds classy Brook.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Yeah, it's an old town and I would have been
all over this place when I was going out in
old town.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
I called it the vortex of bad decisions back in
my day. But they have something that.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
I've seen on TikTok and Instagram, a bunch of influencers
trying some a drink called the Spam.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Folder, the Spam Folder.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
The Spam Folder, and I want to talk to try it.
It's whiskey, rum, cinnamon, some other stuff, pineapple, spam and lime,
like actual spam from a can and it's served in
a spam can.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
The drink is so the little chunks of ham.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Oh yeah, where you do you like spam?
Speaker 3 (12:36):
Yeah? Actually I do. Oh you know what, it's a
big deal in Hawaii. Yeah, you've ever been there? And
they they mash it together with some rice and that's
how they eat it a lot and grilled up. It's
pretty good.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
Yeah, it's not for me, but I'm glad that you enjoy.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
It out of the can. No, because it's packed in
gelatinous material that's just too goopy. It's too goopy. But yeah, so, yeah,
this does sound like a drink we should send Tucker
to try. He's sort of like that that old Cereal commercial. Hey,
let's get Mikey he do anything.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Tucker tries drink. Anyway, Where are you at on spam?
Speaker 3 (13:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (13:13):
Not not my go to No, I mean I would.
Speaker 5 (13:16):
I would definitely try the drink, but they got to
clear all the ham and the juices out of the
can before.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Could you if you don't have to eat the spam, like,
if you don't have to sip it from the side
of the you know, the can, if you could sip
it with a straw and you just get the whole
overall flavor profile, would you try it?
Speaker 4 (13:34):
Oh yeah, I'll definitely try it.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
Okay, I don't know about men and straws. No, I
just so this happens.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
I don't like sweet gurly drinks. I don't I like
tequila soda. I like to taste the alcohol. And my
husband he also will order like an old fashion He's
all over the board. But then he sometimes he'll be
like get a dack or like a really gurly drink.
And when it comes with a straw and mine doesn't.
I'm just like, this is not a good life. You
got to get rid of that strong.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Wasn't your husband also that asked you seriously how to
make a vodka soda?
Speaker 1 (14:08):
No, it was a gen and tonic? Me, how do
I make a gin and tonic? I said, well, it's
in the title, so just you know.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
And what is it he does for a living again?
Speaker 6 (14:17):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (14:17):
He just is an anesthesiologist.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Ways just mixes things together all day and puts people
to sleep and can't make a gen andnic.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
You have some surgery scheduled and there's an anesthesiologist involved.
Just before you go on ner, they're going to ask
you some questions. You ask him one or her one
say can you make a gin and tonic? See what
their answer is. I think that's a pretty good idea.
One O two five k n i X one O
two five k n i X with him and Brooke
(14:46):
its Friday seven to ten, Big announcement, big sports story,
real quick. Just want to mention this and not the
draft if you ask me, and Tucket's that the Sunny
Slope softball season is kind of wrapping up here tonight
and Monday. Uh, we played Xavier again yesterday. I told
you we've had a tough time with Xavier these last
few years. We played them at their place on Wednesday,
(15:07):
they beat us. We played them in our place last night.
They beat us again. But at the end of the game,
you know, in a show of good sportsmanship, we all
meet at home played and we shake hands, we say
good game, congratulations, and three of their players while we
were doing that, we're like, oh my gosh, we listened
to you guys. We love you guys. We're big fans
of the show. And so I will give a shout out.
(15:28):
First of all, congratulations for winning, but also a shout
out to Heavy, also to Noe and Sydney. Sidney was
their pitcher. She had a little bit of a no
hitter going against us last night until she met our
player Brooke, who was named after a character on One
Tree Hill Hayton.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
Yeah, we met Peyton. Shout out to Peyton, all right.
Today's top stories.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
A man was arrested last night in Morgan Wallin's bar,
not chair throwing, but because he wrote on the back
of his receipt, I've got a bomb. Don't be a hero,
followed by some curse words. So they had to clear
out the place because they had to look for a bomb.
No bomb was found, and they arrested the man and
he has a felony now. And he was like, oh,
(16:13):
I was just kidding.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
How many of those drinks with a spam in them
had he consumed?
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Yeah, I don't know why he thought that was just
like a fun joke. I don't know if he was
going through some things, but yeah, best not to joke
about a bomb anywhere. We've got a big announcement coming
up in about fifteen minutes seven ten be here. You're
not gonna want to miss that. And the ACM Awards.
They just announced the next round of performers. We already
knew about Lake Shulton, Landy Wilson, Rik Church, but now
(16:41):
Rascal Flats, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, Cody Johnson, Kelsey Ballerini,
Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton and Moore. That's a stacked lineup. Yeah,
and it's going to be on Amazon Prime. May eighth
reebas hosting.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
All Right, I hope that they have Ella Langley come
out and sing, but i'd also be okay, fellow Langley
just came out and did a dramatic reading. Have you
heard her speaking voice?
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Well, I just don't think her speaking voice matches her.
And I'm not not a bad thing. It's just not
what I was expecting.
Speaker 5 (17:10):
Oh.
Speaker 6 (17:10):
I just bought a pellet gun because I have a
rodent issue and in the neighborhood will not take care
of it.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Oh boy, oh boy. Else you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
It doesn't match up for me.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
Quite.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
That's okay, that's fine.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
We want you to hear this iHeart Country World premiere
of this new Chris Jansen song. It'll put you in
a Friday mood for sure. Oh it's our iHeart Country
World premiere of brand new Chris Jansen song Me and
a Beer, Me and a Beer Canned. I think he's
like the character Christopher Walking plays in the cow Bellspat
(17:45):
sketch from SNL. He wakes up every morning, puts his
pants on one leg at a time, and then he
makes gold records. That guy has a knack for writing.
Just a song that'll put a smile on your face.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
Yeah, he's good at songs for the summer. That's a
summer in them right there.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
That is good. We're gonna play it all day for you,
but we got some business to attend to here momentarily.
Uh do you have what that is? I forgot now.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
Brook Yah, it's just a big announcement.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
Just a big announcement, huge, But we will finally get
to next on k i X oh now one two
five k n i X Tim and Brooke with you
on this Friday morning here on the radio and on
the iHeartRadio app workrever you are however you are listening,
(18:30):
we appreciate you and we want to invite you to
the next k NIX Secret Show. Finally we can say
those words. It's official. Mark your calendar's Secret Show number seventeen.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
I can't believe it's been seventeen, but it is going
to be June twenty fifth at the Marquith Theater.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
It's been a while. I cannot wait.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Yeah, it is the last Secret Show. I just looked
this up and confirmed it was back in December. It
feels like we've gone another couple of years since we've
had one. But this will be happening on June twenty fifth.
Is it a Wednesday night? That's a Wednesday night Marque
Theater in Tempe where we have the Secret Show brought
to you by Corona Premiere and why REFI and you
(19:15):
cannot buy a ticket to the k and Ix Secret Show.
You can only win them for being a part of
the k and Ix family. How do you become that? Well,
you're listening to us right now, so you're in. You're
in a family, and.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
We're gonna be given tickets away every day. We're gonna
have ticket stops. The first one is next Wednesday. All
this info is up on our Instagram at Knox Country.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
But if you're brand new.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
To the valley, let me just say that the secret
to artists have been Jason al Dean, Morgan Wallin, Jordan Davis,
Dan and Shay Thomas Rhett. I mean, the biggest names
in country music. And like Tim said, you can only
win tickets, so people go nuts over these tickets. Yeah,
it's like Taylor Swift aras tour tickets and secret show tickets.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
That's right. And you're asking, Okay, you told us when
and where who's it going to be? That's the thing.
That's the thing. It's the secret show. You don't know
until they walk out on stage who it is, but
it will be a big country star who otherwise would
be playing at an arena, maybe a stadium, and you're
going to get to see them in this intimate setting
of the Marquee Theater right there in Tempe. I think,
(20:18):
as is tradition, Brook, with the other sixteen shows, we
should now give away the very first pair of tickets
to the K and I Secret Show.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
Yeah, call eight three three, five seven seven K and
I X, and you get to flex that you are
the very first person in the valley to win tickets
to K and IX Secret Show number seventeen.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
Let's just take a quick listen back in December, he's
belonging to the k and IX Secret Show.
Speaker 7 (20:41):
Jordan Datas one O.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Two five, K and I AX, Nate Smith, Brook, Are
you ready to set somebody's world on fire? Right now?
Speaker 2 (20:57):
I'm ready, let's do it.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
Is this Jenna, Yes, this is Jenna, Jenna, It's Tim
and Brooke. Happy Friday morning. What city do you live in?
Where are you calling from? Okay? All right, no matter
what else happens to you today or this weekend, you
just get to brag that you won the very first
pair of tickets to the K and I Secret Show.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Are you at work? Are you at home? What are
you doing? Right now, I'm at home getting my kids
ready for school. Well, you can tell them that mommy's
a winner.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
Yeah show, no matter what daddy says. Wait, no, have
you been to one?
Speaker 5 (21:42):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (21:42):
I've actually been to three. Okay, very cool. And you
know the magic of the Secret Show. You also know
the measures that people go through to get their tickets.
And we got a couple of new wrinkles we'll talk
about here in just a few minutes, new ways for
you to win your way to the kN I Secret Show.
You can't buy him, but you can do what Jenna
(22:03):
just did. She won tickets. Hang on, so much fun.
All right, we'll have another pair to give away here
on the radio at eight twenty five. But okay, I'm
just gonna say it. We've had Morgan Wallan as a
k and IX Secret Show right right. Nobody believed that
would ever happen.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
No.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
I didn't believe it until I saw him on the stage,
and even then I was like, is this.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
Is this AI?
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Yes, this is real?
Speaker 3 (22:30):
Is this chat? GPT show me what Morgan Wallan would
look like at a k and I Secret Show. No,
so this statement is not going to be as outrageous
as it would have been before that what if it's
post malone, Brook, what if it's post malone? Is the
K and I Secret show posting it could be?
Speaker 2 (22:47):
Once we got Morgan Wallin, nothing is.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
Off the table. All bets were off exactly. Now we said,
there's a couple of new ways you can win tickets.
We've got lots of ticket stops. You can show up
where we're gonna be when we're gonna be, like, we've
got one coming up this Wednesday right in Scottsdale at
the Hotel Adeline.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Yeah, four to six pm.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
You can meet hey, hey, Hannah out there and she's
got over fifty pairs of tickets.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
It's it's gonna be big.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
So you're gonna want to meet her out there, and
it's really simple how you win.
Speaker 3 (23:14):
And then one other way, this is kind of new.
You know, you can set a preset on the iHeartRadio app.
So if you listen on the app on your phone,
free to download the iHeartRadio app. It's got every station,
every kind of music, all of the podcasts, including the
Tim and Brook Daily podcast where we just sniped together
all the parts of our show in case you missed
any of it. But if you set k and i
(23:36):
X as a preset like you do on your car radio.
That could lead to k and IX Secret Show tickets
because we.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Can see, we can see who does it.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
So you want to be in the k and Ix family,
and to do that, you got to set.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Us as a preset.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
It's simple, It's really simple. If you open the app
and you listen to k and Ix, there's an option
right on the screen there that says make this a preset,
and they're boom, You're done.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
Okay, all right, that's easy.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Plus we're good boy. Tickets all day long on the weekdays,
including coming up at eight twenty five. Double l will
have some at twelve twenty and two thirty. Read on
the radio The Reverend, Read by the Way, three thirty
and four thirty, and all throughout this weekend. It's on.
It's the k and IX Secret Show June twenty fifth
at the Marquee Theater. Now, because of all the excitement
(24:22):
over the Secret Show, we moved our around of the
pyramid of winning for post Malone. We've been playing this
all week. Yeah. I finally won yesterday.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
Yeah, because I had such an easy category. I hope
mine's a little easier today.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
We want to play it again here right before we
roll commercial free on a New Country Friday. So let's
get a couple of contestants for post malone tickets pyramid
of winning the number eight three, three, five, seven seven,
K and I X oh Man. That was K and
I Secret Show number two. I wasn't here for one
(24:56):
with Jason noldeen, but that was my very first kN
Ix Secret Show Man. That was right when I came
back on the radio. What a night, what a wonderful night.
Speaker 4 (25:04):
So good.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
It's hard to pick a favorite at this point, but
do you have a favorite.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Well, yeah, I mean the Morgan Wallen moment, the Dan
and Shay at the end of their show. That was
as loud as when we introed Morgan Wallen. But they're
all so cool, probably just for the pure entertainment. I
loved the Chris Young, his voice, just his voice and
his guitar. You can't beat that.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
Yeah, mine is Morgan Wallen hard to beat. But then
I do love the Darius one.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
That was so cool.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
He did the hoodie songs. He did Purple Rain.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Purple the end of the show and it was raining.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
It was all right. That's all The Secret Show we'll
get back to that in a minute. But it's time
to give away some tickets for post Malone with Jim
and Brooks Pyramid of Winning. I'm playing the prices right there.
Uh yeah, it's time to beat the host. Here he is, Tucker.
Speaker 5 (25:53):
It's time for the Pyramid of Winning. So we're playing
for the Post Malone to it gets. We've got two
contestants on the line. You'll each get a category in
thirty seconds to name as many things in that category.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
Sounds good? Easy, right? Easy?
Speaker 5 (26:10):
First is going to be Tim. Okay, and you're playing
with Bianca from Chandler.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
Hello, Bianca, how are you? We're doing good. We're very
excited about announcing the secret show finally and uh we
got a while before that happens. But you know the
weekend before is going to be post Malone at State
Farm Stadium. I hope we can win these tickets. Okay,
it's the Times game. You're a little quicker response here,
(26:39):
let's go kick.
Speaker 5 (26:41):
Your category is fast food places, Fast food places.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
Thirty seconds, Ready to go.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
This is the Golden Arches McDonald Yeah, this is uh
home and the Whopper Chicken Fries. Yes, this is uh.
You can get a double double. You get animal fries.
This is uh yes, okay, this is my pleasure closed
on Sundays. Yes, okay, this is a beef and cheddar.
(27:15):
We've got the meat.
Speaker 8 (27:18):
Barrel's hatrel's hat. She didn't get armies and nope, not
in time. But you did get four right, four right?
That is outstanding, Bianca. That is really really good. Okay,
good job, all right, Brook. Now you are going to
be playing with Tony from Anthem.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Hey, what's going on to Hey?
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Are you ready?
Speaker 5 (27:42):
I'm so ready? We got this.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
Okay, we have to get five to win. I feel
like you're energized. We can do this.
Speaker 4 (27:48):
I am so ready.
Speaker 5 (27:50):
Okay, five to win and your category is different languages?
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Okay, great, got this, We'll nail this.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Go ahead, third seconds ready go Olamas Spanish?
Speaker 6 (28:04):
Yes, uh, Frank yeah, Ariva there a pizza, Mama Mia yes,
ni wa.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Uh sushi yes? Later, hosen Heike Hill whatever, German?
Speaker 5 (28:22):

Speaker 3 (28:23):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (28:24):
Oh, Vladimir Putin yes, oh boy.
Speaker 6 (28:36):
Dying.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Yeah, we're gonna go see past malone State Farm Stadium and.
Speaker 3 (28:43):
Oh man, Tony?
Speaker 5 (28:46):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Bianca? Rather, I'm sorry? Can we send her a beacon chowder? Please?
That's all I'm asking for We're gonna roll commercial free
next We're gonna kick it off with New Country Friday,
some great new music for you, including our iHeart Country
World premiere of a brand new Chris Jansen song. It's
one O two five KNI Acts with Tim and Brooke. Man.
(29:09):
It's hard not to feel good on this Friday as
we roll into it's gonna be a beautiful weekend. You know,
we're in the zone of the year. If you're new
here that will go like, oh, this could be the
last weekend we go outside. Before that all hell literally
breaks loose and it was too hot. But it's a
beautiful weekend We've got. We just announced the k and
IX Secret Show. You can win tickets to that all
(29:30):
weekend long. And like most Fridays, New Country Friday, it's
a playlist on the free iHeartRadio app that's just full
of great stuff, like songs from artists you know, maybe
some deeper cuts, and then also some new artists we
think are worth keeping an eye on. Yeah, all right, Tucker,
who do you like this week on New Country Friday?
Speaker 4 (29:50):
Here on k and I X Parker McCullum.
Speaker 5 (29:53):
Oh yeah, hope that I'm enough which was written for
his wife and his self titled album is out June
twenty seven.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
By the way, we can put him in an AB country.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
He's an AB country. He's got the abs along with
Riley Green and Warren Zyders.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Yeah, all the root of him to get abs while
his wife was pregnant and postpartum and a supposed to
gain the sympathy.
Speaker 5 (30:13):
Wait.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
Yeah, that's a good point. Parker McCollum.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
What's this song called hope that I'm enough?
Speaker 3 (30:19):
Here? It is you always be? I just hope that enough?
Speaker 4 (30:37):
You know?
Speaker 3 (30:37):
He also another category of country. He's the take his
cowboy hat off and say nice to meet you, ma'am
when he's introduced to women, including Brook, including me, up
to and including Brook Okay, wow, him and Cody Johnson
very respectful. He said he wasn't sure he was a
country artist a few a couple of months ago.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
I was confused by that. What are you then?
Speaker 3 (30:59):
Yeah, that was a dumb thing to say country. We're
glad about it, all right.
Speaker 2 (31:04):
I have got an artist named Ashley Cook. She was
at our hometown holiday.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
No no acoustics.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
Acoustic Oh my gosh, I get all these things. We
do so many cool events and our acoustic summer. Sorry, yeah,
so great live. But she's got a song called the
F word, and it's not what you think.
Speaker 2 (31:23):
It's not what you think, Okay, because I said the.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
F word in front of.
Speaker 6 (31:28):
Your mama the first time I'm met her.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
Not trying to start.
Speaker 6 (31:33):
Drama's just call us down, Like, what the hell did
I just do?
Speaker 5 (31:41):
Said?
Speaker 2 (31:41):
I probably spend further?
Speaker 3 (31:44):
Oh, I see, very clever.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
Yes, although bo did let the F word slip at Costco,
the F word.
Speaker 4 (31:52):
I did not teach him that what's your F word?
What do you mean if you had to choose an
F word.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
Fresco because it's my favorite, Okay, Minsota Fresco.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
Talk, do you have one? No, don't say it. I've
heard him say it. I don't want you to say
that right now. My F word is definitely right in
line with our iHeart Country World premiere today Chris Jensen.
My song is this song called Me and a Beer Can. Yeah, right,
you think you can't well get a beer? It's Chris
Jansen on a New Country Friday one two five k
(32:26):
n I X with a capital F word, fun Girl.
iHeart Country World Premiere brand New Chris Jansen, me and
a beer. You're gonna hear it all day long, especially
on New Country Friday. The playlist you should check out
some point this weekend, especially while you are setting. You
(32:47):
could set the New Country Friday playlist as a preset.
Speaker 1 (32:50):
Yeah, you could set playlists, podcasts, radio stations like K
and i X.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
Anything.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
Setting the station as a playlist could lead to you
winning can I secret show tickets and other cool stuff?
So do that. Tim and Brook here New Country Friday,
rolling commercial free, one on two five KY and i X.
It's Tim and Brook. We're rolling commercial free. I'm inclined
just to say, Brook, you can talk about whatever you
want to right now, because I can't think anymore. Okay,
(33:17):
I've thought I've reached my thinking limit already. We're wrapping
up the Sunday Slip softball season, and we've had games
like every night this week, and we got more until
Monday Wedding as our last official game. We'll see if
we make the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
Okay, when you say you can talk about anything I
want to, I am inclined to talk about you know,
a Bravo show, the new season of the Valley is here,
Summer House or whatever, However, I'm going to talk about
something that will interest you. Really, Yeah, Devin Booker, Really,
Devin Booker. Did you see what he did yesterday?
Speaker 3 (33:45):
No? But I am one hundred percent staying tuned for sure. Yeah,
it's a secret show Friday. We just announced it this morning.
It's happening on June twenty fifth, a Wednesday night in June.
Like it's gonna be the weekend after we got Friday
Night Dirk s Bentley's, We've got Saturday Night post Malone
State Farm Stadium, and then the following Wednesday is going
to be the next kN I Secret Show. You can
(34:08):
win your tickets. Stay tuned eight twenty five with Tim
and Brook.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
All Right, Devin Booker, I know you love him. I
love him as well, Like not even for what he
does on the Core, but he seems to be a
genuinely good guy doing stuff for the community. He likes
living here in Phoenix. But he stopped the side of
the road there was a little lemonade stand. Two kids
were selling gatorade, lemonade and some other stuff to raise
money for an animal rescue called Almost Their Rescue. So
(34:33):
Booker got out, bought a gatorade in some lemonade it
looked like, and then made a hefty donation, didn't say
how much, but made a big donation and was like, hey,
keep it up, and the kids were like, what is happening.
Speaker 3 (34:47):
That's so cool, so exciting. I've loved that about him
because he's a young kid in a superstar era where
all you know, a lot of the sports stars. Now
you know they said this was true about this NFL draft.
Normally it's this joyous moment for these college players who
are good enough to play in the NFL because now
they can make money that's generational, that they can take
(35:10):
care of their families for years and years, and most
of them now are making so much money in ni
L name image likeness that it was just like, ugh, okay,
twenty five mil whatever. Devin Booker has never struck me
as that kind of guy. He's going to get paid
this year to stay a Phoenix Sun and I'm so
happy about it because all these little stories of what
(35:30):
he does in Phoenix for the community.
Speaker 2 (35:32):
Yeah, it seems like he wants to be here.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
He does.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
I don't know what she was thinking, better than bad bunny?
Speaker 3 (35:40):
Do you think bad bunnies buy a gatorade. No, no,
no way. Yeah, I agree with all that. God is great.
People are crazy, beers good, yeah, lines up.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
I never thought you would i'd hear you say this.
You said you feel bad for Katy Perry.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
I kind of do.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
Yeah, Okay, Well, a lot of people are making fun
of her.
Speaker 1 (35:58):
It's become the meme the century, basically her going into space.
People are just hating on her for that, either making
fun or mad.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
And Camilla Cabeo.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
Pop singer she told Katy Perry with her tour announcement,
she said, I didn't have a budget to fly into space,
so I made a TikTok and a lot of other
stars are like calling her out.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
So but you feel bad for.
Speaker 3 (36:20):
Her, Poor Katie Perry. Things were going great for her
with the career or the music career. She became a
judge on American Idol, and now, whereas most people that
helps them out, it kind of slowed her down in
terms of the fervor for her music and her tour.
You know, you said, she's still scheduled to perform here
in Phoenix on this tour, but the tickets are cheap
(36:42):
and it's not sold out.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
Yeah, it's just I think her new stuff. I was
a fan back in the day, I mean, banger after banger,
but her new.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Stuff just isn't It's not good to me.
Speaker 4 (36:53):
But and she.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
Also I think she's a little it seems to be
a little bit out.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
Of touch, really a little bit well, and she called
herself an astronaut. I just don't think that she is.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
I'm just glad she's not eating babies anymore because that
I saw a YouTube conspiracy ye know about that during
the pandemic, and I didn't want to believe it.
Speaker 2 (37:15):
But you know, I don't think she is.
Speaker 3 (37:16):
I wouldn't let her babysit baby Penny.
Speaker 5 (37:18):
No.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
So beyond one on two five Kane and I X
I like it Kane Brown backseat Driver where Tim and
Brook We announced the k and IX Secret Show number seventeen.
It's happening June twenty fifth, and the only way to
get tickets is to win them from K and I
Ax Tucker, who has been with us on the show
now for a couple of months. You've been to a
(37:40):
CANi secret.
Speaker 4 (37:41):
Show yep, the most recent one was Morgan Wallen.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
Oh oh man, oh, that's the only one you've been to.
Speaker 1 (37:47):
Yeah, Okay, well what a way to yeah, start intro
to a secret show.
Speaker 3 (37:51):
Exactly right, did you think?
Speaker 5 (37:53):
I mean, it was amazing, such a good time. But
it'll be fun now being on the other side of things.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
From behind the scenes. Yeah. Now, Kane Brown was a
Knox secret show. He came to town with so many
people that in order to remain you know, secret, As
he was going through the airport and checking in the hotels,
they told everybody they were a chess club that was
here for a chess tournament. Yeah, so I call him
(38:21):
the chess king now.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
And his uh, he requested some chicken he got stolen Micio's.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
Yeah, you wanted some macios enchilada chicken enchiladas, and they
got stolen by someone who uh you know, didn't have
any to eat. They took it out of the back
of the Knox van and you know right there it was.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
A homeless person, and so you know, you feel bad
chasing after a homeless person. So wait was actually yes, yeah, yeah,
this actually happened. So then we had to scramble and
get him some more food because the homeless man. And
also you don't want to take it back from the
homeless man.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
He's like, not spit it out, all of it.
Speaker 5 (38:55):
I mean two things. One, he's homeless, Okay, let him
have the food, right too. Even if he just touched
the plate, I wouldn't want it. Not even if he'd
bit into the food, I still don't want it.
Speaker 3 (39:06):
But you know what, you know who's more understanding about
it than anybody. It was Kane Brown because he had
been homeless. He had lived in his car with his
mom as a kid.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
Yeah, he knew it was so we explained it to him.
He's like, oh, it's all good.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
That's why. Maybe he had those chicken enchill out as
when he was homeless, and that's why they're such a
big appeal it. Maybe I don't know all this to say,
it's time to give away a pair of tickets to
the K and I Secret Show. What do you think
K three.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
Three, five, seven seven, k n I XB collar twelve
right now?
Speaker 2 (39:33):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (39:34):
By the way, why put out a fire when it's
still burning? I don't know everything, but it seems like
that's the best time to put out a fire.
Speaker 2 (39:42):
Well it was a metaphor for fire burning love. Oh oh,
not about fire safety at all.
Speaker 3 (39:49):
Great, I'm glad you're here, listen. I got a great
story about I had a little interaction with the Phoenix
Fire Department last night. We'll tell you about that in
a minute. Right now, Miranda's on the line, and she's
trying to be quiet because I think she's listening at work.
Where do you work, Miranda, Yeah, I work for an
electrical contractor in Chandler. Okay, very good. Well, sparks are
(40:10):
gonna fly because you've won yourself tickets to the K
and I Secret Show.
Speaker 4 (40:14):
Hey, oh my gosh, I can't believe it the first day.
Speaker 3 (40:17):
Yeah, I tried.
Speaker 2 (40:19):
I'm so exciting.
Speaker 3 (40:20):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (40:22):
Who do you hope is up on that stage June
twenty fifth at the Marquee Theater.
Speaker 3 (40:26):
I just love Zach Brian.
Speaker 5 (40:28):
I love him right. I don't know if he'll be there.
Speaker 3 (40:30):
People would lose their mind absolutely. Oh my gosh, I know,
I know.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
Can you imagine? But I'm so excited.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (40:37):
You're welcome. I personally hope Miranda is there.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
Okay, I.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Like Laney too. Oh, Lady Wilson, that would be great.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
You'll be the first to know when that curtain opens.
We're glad you're listening. Thanks for listening. At work and
have an awesome weekend.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (40:53):
If it's Zach Bryan, what if we bring out Brianna
chicken fry? Oh As shall go? Come on, sparks are
gonna fly. You get a fast car.
