Yeah, well, we actually used to work together a couple
of years ago, back at the time I was married. Okay,
so obviously, yeah, nothing ever happened back then. I always
thought she was cool. We were friendly around the office.
But anyway, she heard through the grape vine that I'm
divorced now recently divorced for about six months. So she
sent me a message and we talked a few weeks

(00:37):
and we hung out a few weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
And I hadn't been.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
On a date in seven or eight years, to be
honest with you, so I'm a little bit out of practice.
But I knew her, and I was feeling really good
about the whole thing. It was like an easy situation
for me to kind of fall back into. I had
this trip coming up, and I was like, Hey, when
I get back, let's go out again. And she was
all in. She was texting me everything was great. And

(01:00):
then I get back from my trip, and this is
now where I need your guys's help. It's been total
radio silence ever since. I've been back for two weeks
and she won't return anything, messages, calls. It all goes
straight to voicemail. And it was going so well and
we hung out and nothing happens. We've known each other

(01:20):
for a while too, and I just I just want
to know what happened.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
I have no idea. All right, I'll figure it out. Well,
this is you need our help. This is where we
come in. We will get Kristin on the phone and
find out why she was all in and then got
a little vacation from Austin and now she's not so okay,
we'll figure it out. Okay, okay, cool, permanent vacation from Austin. Okay,

You used to work with Austin. You found out he
was divorced. You're like, oh, swoop like that guy. This guy, Yeah,
sent him a message, went on a date, he thought
it was great, and now can't figure out why you
don't want us go out again.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Guys, look, I don't even know why he's acting confused
right now. He obviously is still with his wife or
whatever the situation is.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Why Yeah, what do you mean why do you say that?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Well, he told me he booked this trip while he
was married, and instead of canceling it, he was going
to go by himself.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Okay, Yeah, then he disappears for.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
A whole week, no text, no calls, didn't even read anything.
If he was actually alone, he'd be checking his phone
unless someone was withing.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Twenty Oh.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Did hear from him?

Speaker 5 (02:48):
You're assuming he was with somebody else?

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Yeah? Why or somebody his wife or someone was with him?

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Okay, well, well, I mean listen, this is an easy fixed.
Austin is on the phone, It doesn't matter. Were you
on this trip by yourself?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Wait? Yeah, I told you that I was. I was
one hundred percent on the trip by myself. I was
on a cruise. Have you guys ever been on a
cruise before?

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Yeah, you don't have a.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
They Yeah, alone, they charged like one hundred and fifty
for Wi Fi. I just was I was shown by
the pool. I didn't want to pay for all that
extra stuff, so I figured, O, Hey, I don't need
my phone for a week. What's the big deal?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Listen, Kristin, I do that on a cruise. I don't.
I don't. I don't use my phone because it costs money.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Yeah, yeah, but like alone, Okay, I don't know what
to think because the whole thing feels sketchy, and I'm
not signing up to be a part of someone's ypede.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Wait no, it's the whole thing, isn't sketchy. I don't
know what you want me to say. I mean I
went by myself and I shut off my phone.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
So yourself, you shut off your phone for a week, Chris,
if I a week?

Speaker 2 (03:53):
If I really, if I was still married, would I
be doing this on the radio right now?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Trying to hide hide something on the radio? I mean
I can't.

Speaker 6 (04:05):
I don't know, Like what if she doesn't listen, what
if she doesn't listen to the station?

Speaker 2 (04:08):
I don't know about something up?

Speaker 3 (04:10):
So I'm moving on.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Uh so that's it, You're just gone.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Is this what d is going to be?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Like?

Speaker 2 (04:21):
I'm done.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
I'm just done. This is not worth my time, not
worth my energy. I'm done.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Yeah, that's fine, We're not you know, whatever you feel
is fine. Thanks for giving us your time this morning
on the second date up dates.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
I'm hanging up by bye bye gosh.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Yes, she does not trust you, Austin.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
I don't know what a guy's supposed to do. You
try and go on vacation, and I'm going to give
myself a shout out if I can. I'm Austin, I'm single.
I'm ready to make this.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Me hook it up on a cruise.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
So he's probably a pretty good catch.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
I've got a good payment plan, Austin. Hey, we're here
for you for more second date updates if you need us.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Okay, yeah, thanks, thanks for trying, guys. I appreciate it.
I'm gonna go recinch about some stuff I gains.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Yeah, yeah, I would Bye. I mean we believe him, right,
do we believe?

Speaker 4 (05:15):
We believe?

Speaker 5 (05:15):
I want to treat a woman's instinct?

Speaker 1 (05:17):
I do, Okay.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
I've also worked on cruise ships where like you don't
touch your phone, like your phone goes by by because
it's too expensive, Like unless you're taking a photo, you're
not texting, you're not call none of.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
That's happening now. Again, I don't know the story. I
think I believe he seemed pretty good. But also the
other thing she was like, so you went, you went
on this trip by yourself and you didn't touch your
phone for a whole week by yourself. You went on
a cruise by yourself.

Speaker 5 (05:40):
I believe him, but also she had strong instance.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
I think I believe. I don't know. What do you think?
Four or five? For six one or two seven? If
you want to chime in on the second date update, Hey,
lots of people.

Speaker 6 (05:51):
Go on cruises by themselves, and it's not shocking that
he would want to go maybe on a trip by
himself after just going through a divorce anyway, just to okay.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
So my misself all the time. I don't think it's
weird to go by yourself. Okay, uh OKJ three what
did you want to say? What do you think of here?

Speaker 4 (06:09):
I think her trauma is showing oh wow, all.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Right, like something bad happened previously and it's reflecting I
get it.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Yeah, like what Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
I think somebody did her wrong in the past, and
it's just bleeding through into the next one.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Yeah, you can undo trust issues. And sometimes the anger
they're taking out on you was the anger they didn't
get to take out on someone else who hurt them.
You're absolutely yeah, you called it, man, that's a that's
a that's a good call. The messages are coming in.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
What do you have a MANA yeah, Aubrey kind of
kind of the next that as well, she says he
dodged a bullet. She clearly has trust issues and he
doesn't need that kind of drama her loss.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Bye, Sru, Sru, What are you saying?

Speaker 6 (06:49):
Come on, I'm thankful and I by myself, and I
turned my phone off and and I got a restaurant
my phone in the car.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
That's smart.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Okay. So so you're saying people vacation by themselves, and well,
the only time I do turn my phone off is
what it costs me more to have it on, okay,
and that would be on a crucial Okay. So you
believe he can you.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
Go international, definitely, and they charge you a lot more
to get that international out in the waters and stuff
to get your phone and not only that whenever you
go on vacation.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
That's what's wrong with this world.

Speaker 6 (07:24):
Everybody thinks that their livelihood is their phone.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
It's not your phone.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
Your livelihood is you enjoy life. And he was just
trying to enjoy life as.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
A single man now that he just recently.

Speaker 6 (07:35):
Got divorced and he already.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Had a vacation plan.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
My goodness, she's just

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Baddie enough, said Jas
