Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is tj Amanda and j Ron's second date update
on kJ one three.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Here. You know, O Casee a little bit nervous about
doing this second date update, but you had to.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
You had to, Carrie.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
You said you were shocked this is not turned into
a second date yet.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Shock. Wow.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Okay, yeah, I'm beyond shocked. We haven't gone out our
first date. We're having drinks conversations. We talked about going
to concerts, how much we liked concerts, and that we
should go to concerts together.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Okay, great, he.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
Was only saying that.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
That's why I'm shocked. Like he kept saying that he
was hinting at us spending.
Speaker 4 (00:35):
Like future time together. I thought, I mean, that's what
I thought.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
I heard, I guess, And so I've been sending him
some texts of concerts that we could go to. Hey
should I get tickets? And he didn't text back. So
then most recently I sent him a text last weekend
to just maybe get some food or drink or something,
you know, just to kind of maybe reconnect. Still no reply.
(01:00):
You know, I'm I'm kind of annoyed. I'm a little bummed,
and I'm at the point where I just like to
know what's happened.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Yeah, and concert tickets are kind of expensive. You need
to know they're in Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, weird, weird.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
We'll get Jimmy on the phone and we'll try to
figure this out for you.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
Okay, thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
This is tj.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Amanda and j Rob's second date update on kJ one
O three. Yes, sir, got Jimmy on the second date update.
Hi Jimmy, Hey Jimmy, Hey guys, how are y all?
Carrie's confused? You know you went on this date and
she said on the date, you were the one going, Hey,
we should go to like a concert together, or here's
we like music? Oh you like this hardst Hey let's
go to that concert together. And she's been texting you like, hey,
(01:41):
should I get tickets to the concert, and you haven't
been replying.
Speaker 5 (01:45):
Okay, so absolutely yes, I was gung ho about Uh.
We found out that we both love music, so I
was very excited. But you just tell me if this
is sketchy, Okay. I told her that there's this band
in Dallas that I love that I absolutely loved, and
I thought we should go and she says, wait for it.
(02:06):
She can't leave the state Okay.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Okay, I don't know. I don't can't or does it
want to or can't?
Speaker 5 (02:16):
I was like, you can't leave, you can't leave the state.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Did you ask her about it? Yes?
Speaker 5 (02:21):
I said why can't you leave the state? And she said,
because she doesn't have the time.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Okay, Well she's just busy.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yeah, that's way different. I can't go out of state.
I don't have time to plan a day go out
of state to Dallas.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
Wait, y'all don't think anything is weird here with that.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
I mean at first I did, until she.
Speaker 5 (02:43):
Gave her People say they don't have the time to
go on like a road trip or whatever like, And
never in my life have I experienced anyone saying that
they can't leave the state, much less a date. Hello, Like,
is she on.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Parole, Carrie? Do you want to come in here and
clear some things up?
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (03:04):
So maybe I don't want to go out.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
Of state with somebody I barely know.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
Valid, very valid up here, lady.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah, that's valid, especially a second date out of state.
That's that's that's an arrest.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
I mean, there's your reason, Jimmy, sure, I mean that
makes perfect sense, right if that was if that was
the truth.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
It is the truth, then, Okay, if you're saying.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
That's the truth, then why didn't you say that instead
of saying that you are not allowed to leave the state?
Speaker 3 (03:34):
I didn't say I'm not allowed to leave the state.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
Oh okay, Well you could just say that you barely
know me and you don't feel comfortable traveling out of
the state with me something like that, instead of just
you can't leave the state. That's crazy to me.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Okay, that's that's what I'm saying. I don't know you,
and I didn't feel comfortable traveling out of state with
the trigger.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Okay, okay, so maybe a concert locally.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Well, I mean, except now I don't believe her.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
I just admitted I don't want to go out of
state with you.
Speaker 5 (04:08):
Yeah, okay, but on our date you said that you
can't leave the state or whatever like that was it?
Speaker 2 (04:14):
She kind of explained that why and you still don't
believe her?
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Like, why is there still a red flag here? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (04:20):
Okay, the red flag is clearly like she's okay, she's
obviously not allowed to leave the state for some reason
negative more than likely, and that's never like a good thing.
So I'm I'm just gonna find someone I guess who's
not on probation or whatever.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
You know, I am not on probation. Stop saying that.
Speaker 5 (04:37):
Okay, if you are not on probation, then why can't
you go out of state?
Speaker 3 (04:44):
I already you know what.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
I don't even need to explain myself to you or
to anyone else.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Okay, that's fair.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
You don't have to.
Speaker 5 (04:51):
I mean I respect that.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Sure, Thanks Tony.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
I'm glad you respect that.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Oh wow, okay, okay, all right, Jimmy, we're gonna let
you go.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Thanks for coming on the second date up. Oh thank god, Carrie.
I don't know what's going on here. I don't care
what's going on here. I'm gonna trust what you're saying.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
For some reason, he didn't want.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
To go there. He didn't believe you at all. No,
he knows best.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
I mean, what if I said that I can't go
out of state?
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Does that make me a criminal? Why does it have
to be something bad?
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Sure, Carrie, thanks for coming on the second date update.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Thanks guys, Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
I gott un comfort. I don't want to like. I
don't want to add. It's none of my business. If
she said I don't.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Want to go out of state or again, which means
I could see where he might be listen, I'll just
be honest, I could see where he might have doubt
if someone's like, I can't leave the state.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Because he was really vague, That's the first.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
Thing we thought about. But also her saying I don't
know four oh five, four six, one two seven. I
can see her side not on a first day going
I don't trust you.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
I want to go to stay with you, you know,
like I don't know. I mean, what are you thinking.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
I'd like to know what our listeners say about it,
because sometimes you know, they are a little more honest
with what's really going on than I am.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Okay, So one of the things that I think.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Women absolutely need to do before a first date, and
this is what I do, is I tell every man
that I go out with, I need your full government
name and your day to birth before the first date,
because before the first date, I'm running my own public
information search.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
If we go out of state.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Together, I tell them upfront.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
Do you want to go out of state?
Speaker 4 (06:22):
I need your social Security member, I'm running a national
background search through the OSBI.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
Oh yeah, you're not the only one that's saying this.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
We just got a message on Facebook.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Somebody's saying, pull her up on okay, court dockets if
nothing's there, believe her.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
So they're saying to appropriately. The other way is you
could pull her up to see if she's Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Yeah, but you need that, you need your people around
you to watch you and you're safe. And you're saying
you're gonna pull him. Yeah, you don't make an excuse
that you can't go out of state. Say hey, by
the way, uh, my friend, my friend, what's your I
didn't get your name.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
What's your name?
Speaker 4 (06:54):
My name is Krista.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
My friend Krista on.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
The radio said that, uh, yes, I'll go to this
couser in Dallas with you, but I'm gonna pull up
all your background checks right right truly?
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Yeah, And I mean you can pay OSBI and they
will run.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
A full background check with the social Security number, and
you can have I mean the full national but with
their full government name.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
And the data birth you can do a ton of public.
Speaker 4 (07:16):
Information search on your own. Yeah, before you even go.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
And then I take it one.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Step further and I tell them that if we go internationally,
I need a copy of their passport before we.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Go oh, Chris, you do work good for you.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Have you ever got any feedback from dudes being like yeah, no,
I'm not going to give that to you.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
Yes, yes, And that's the first red flag. And I say, okay, well,
then have a great.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
Day, have a great live.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
Yeah, find it. I mean, listen, even just asking is
like a good indicator.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Well, I put them on notice.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
I mean right out of the gate, I put them
on notice.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
This is the information I'm going to need from you.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
If we go further.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
And if they have a problem.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
With that, that's the.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
First red flag.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Or my other joke that I make is And this
is the point where I will take confession.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
If you think there's anything I'm gonna find.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Nice, take confession. You are awesome, Christa.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
So well, yeh, next time you go on a date
and it goes miserably, we'd love to do the second
date update with you.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Okay. And she did all the work and got too bad.
She's already done the homework and leg work.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
Thank you, christ I actually have a second date on Saturday.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
So okay, he passed all the things. We passed the
background check at least. Good luck. Alright, bye, Christa. I
love that all right christ yeah, okay,
