Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is j Amanda and j Rod's second date update
on kJ one three.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Chase from Okay see on the second date update. How's
it going, Chase?

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Hey, what's up? Guys?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
So you and Melanie live in the same apartments or
what's the story?

Speaker 4 (00:14):
Yeah, so I met Melanie actually at our pool last summer. Yeah,
we found out we live in the same apartments and
it's got kind of a big apartment complex, so I've
never really seen her around.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
And then I didn't really see her again.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
But then two weeks ago, I ran into her at
Taco Bell and she was like, hey, Chase from the pool.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
You must have been memorable, Chase, I mean.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
I was suppressed, Yeah, and I was like, I was
glad she remembered me. And we started talking anyway, and
then I paid for her lunch, and then she asked if.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
I wanted to hang out sometime. Cool?

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Cool, Yes, So we did.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
I ended up going over to her apartment and we
just like ordered pizza and watched a movie, and I mean,
I don't know, I mean I thought it was kind
of hot, like, I mean, like nothing happened, but then
I left and there was this really tight hug. I
don't know, I just felt like the groundwork was laid,
you know, sure, Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
So why are you on the second date update? Then
obviously something went wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
I mean ever since that, I've been texting her to
get together, and I mean she responds, but she always
has some excuse. So I was like, no problem. I mean,
maybe she was just feeling a different vibe. I just
kind of like, let it go. And that was over
a month ago. So then last week she texts me
asking if I can help her.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Move at the end of this month.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Oh. I was like, what, it's been a while. Who
is again? What did you say?

Speaker 4 (01:57):
I mean, I said yes actually, but then I was like, oh,
you know, sure, I can do that, but you want
to grab a beer sometime, you know, before then, And
then she just didn't reply.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Okay, let's get Mellie on the phone and figure this out.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
There's a lot to unpack.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Unpack hey, but hopefully gets you another day too. Okay, okay,
we'll do it. Next Second Date update kJ three tj
Amanda j Rod in the morning.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
This is TJ Amanda and j Rod's second date updates
on kJ one O three. I'm Melanie. Hello, We're all
kind of confused. Actually, you and Chase live in the
same apartments.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
You invited him over for pizza and a movie, which
he I mean, his words were, it was kind of hot,
and then you don't seem to want to go out again,
and then a month later you ask him if he
can help you move?

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Do you want to move?

Speaker 4 (02:47):
You?

Speaker 5 (02:48):
Gosh? I thought it was a good night, and that
hug was like super legit, like it was a good night.
But as soon as you left, I went into the bathroom.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
And and my toilet.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
Seat was up, and there was pee splattered on top.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Of the bowl.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
That's you know, it was just nasty.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Okay, So that's so he's nasty.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
I mean to me, it just showed me that he
is inconsiderate, Like you used a woman's bathroom, and not
only did you leave the toilet seat up, but like, bro,
wipe the toilet if you're gonna pee all over it.
I just I don't know. I don't want to date
a guy that's so self centered that he doesn't think
about that kind of stuff.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Chase is here, Oh are you for real? Uh?

Speaker 5 (03:32):
Yeah, really I am. You don't think I should be
upset about.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
That because I left the toilet seat up.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
And you peed all over the toilet.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Oh my god, that is well, that's a total exaggeration.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
Okay, Well, if you cared, you would know, but you
don't because you don't care. So for his future reference,
when you go into a woman's bathroom and the seat
is down, you should probably leave it the way you.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Found it, she said, inconsiderate.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
Let's say you okay, let's say you use the bathroom
in my apartment, all right, and then when you entered
my apartment bathroom the.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Seat was up. Are you gonna put it back up
after you leave the bathroom?

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Good question.

Speaker 6 (04:18):
My ex husband used to say this all the time.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Oh no, that is not the same thing.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
It is the same you're saying you have to leave
it the way you found it.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
No, dude, because it's not the same thing. Because you
also use the toilet with the seat down. I'm sure
you don't lift it up when you're done doing number
two or whatever.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
That's true, that's very true. Oh maybe I do.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
You don't know, right.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
Exactly, Okay, Chase, Like the fact that you're arguing with
me about this shows that you're selfish and that you
don't care.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
So it's fine.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Okay, maybe you're right, since apparently you can just read
someone's character by a toilet see.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Okay, you two are going on a second date?

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Uh seriously? Yeah, no, I'm out too. No, I mean, like, yeah,
forget about me helping you move? Oh yeah, oh you
have a yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Yeah, thanks for coming on the second date update, Like,
I gotta go back, Chase, Dude, what did you do
put that toilet see down?

Speaker 3 (05:26):
What you guys think she's right? Because I think that's insane.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
I'm not saying it's it's right or wrong. I do
think maybe.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
I mean, I know personally I put it down. I
wipe if I splatter somewhere.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Look, dude, maybe I left the toiletet up. But like
she's gonna label me self centered because of that. Come on,
it's just.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
You know, look before you leave.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Now, you know some women haven't have a thing about that.
Thanks for coming on the second date update.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Yeah, thanks guys.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
And I'm just gonna throw this out there because, uh, Amanda,
obviously you and your ex have had this conversation.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
So many times.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
So do you think it's.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I mean, you obviously didn't like the fact that he
left the seat up. Do you think it's self centered
and selfish.

Speaker 6 (06:10):
And I think he was just trying to make a
stupid point that like his way can be right too.
But I will say my ex sat down to pee
so he didn't even lift the seat most of the time.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
It was just stupid, all right, grand I.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Mean, honestly, I do think it's selfish. I think it's selfish.
I think it's selfish to leave it up because, like
I said, seventy five percent of the time in a relationship,
it's down.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
The time is down.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Okay, I don't know, what.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Do you think four h five or six one two
seven like, and then you could spot a totally single
guy if they leave the toilet seat up all the.

Speaker 6 (06:41):
Time you've fallen into the toilet seat.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
I mean, that's what I was waiting for at the
falling into it enough times you were just seeking to Okay,
I have an.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Opinion on that, but we'll get let's take let's take
some calls. Take some calls kJ one three TJ Amanda
J Rod in the morning.

Speaker 7 (06:56):
I would also like to say that leaving the toilet
set up in the middle of the night, if you
go to sit down and the toilet seats up. You
can actually get duck in the toilet.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
Have you gotten stuck?

Speaker 7 (07:10):
No, But I've worked in the medical field pretty much
my whole life, and I've been things and have to worry,
and it's a real thing.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Just kind of just give us a brief one of
these stories of someone getting stuck in a toilet.

Speaker 7 (07:24):
It's when the toilet seat is up.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
You know.

Speaker 7 (07:26):
You you wake up in the middle of the night,
go to the bathroom, you don't want to turn the
light on. You go to sit down, and it creates assumption.
Oh and you can get up.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
Wow, I've never even thought about that, and now I'm terrified.
I do not would have to call an ambulance to
come pry me out of my toilet.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Oh my god, if you were in a hospital, you
could at least get out.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
You're in the right spot, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Oh my god, that's true.

Speaker 7 (07:55):
That's why I always turn the light on when I
go to the bathroom.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
Okay, that's really sorry. I'm getting in night light immediately
for my bathroom.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Not me, I said, I sit in darkness, in my
own filth and shame.

Speaker 6 (08:05):
Thank you, all right, thank good sight and warnings we're
gonna go now.

Speaker 7 (08:14):
Yes, of course. I always put your toilet feet down.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
I think Sky's a liar. I think you're like insurance people.
You scare people into doing the thing you want them
to do. I don't think people at work really get.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Stuck in uh, in their toilets. Should we try?

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (08:29):
I hope that. I hope that's the thing. Go home,
inter significant other stuff should be.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
The fireman, the first responder that has to like try
to pry you.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Get the jewels alive. I gotta pish this one out
of here. Oh, run your angles.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Look at all sund terrible.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Brush my teeth all right,
