Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is TJ Amanda and j Rod's second date update
on kJ one O three Lane from us staying on
the second date update. How you doing Lane?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Lane?

Speaker 2 (00:11):
I'm doing well.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Okay, So you met Chloe at a stop light or
what's what's the story.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Of I knew Chloe through college at UCO, Go Broncos
and shameless advertising. That's so about like two weeks ago.
I'm at a stop light. I had my convertible all
sexy and polish, and she rolls up right next to
me and she just goes, when are you gonna take

(00:38):
me out in that car? I looked to my left.
I recognize her and I said anytime, like you know,
kind of like an eighties movie. And I just thought, like,
all right, that would be it. You know, as soon
as the light turned green, you know, nothing would come
of it. But I get a message on Insta and

(00:58):
it's Chloe. Oh, and she's actually following up with that
statement and she's like, I'm pretty serious about that ride. Okay, Well,
Saturday afternoon we plan to just hang out and I
had like a couple of destinations to take her for
some food, a beer or whatever. And I'm not gonna

(01:18):
lie it was a little awkward, but I think it
could be like a first date type of nerves. But
I don't know. I have this convertible. I should be
literally and figuratively in the driver's seat.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
She doesn't reply to any of my texts, so I
really don't know what happened. Maybe she wants to be
in the driver's seat.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Rye, We're gonna find out. She seemed very motivated. She
messaged you right after seeing you at the stoplight to
go on that date, and now nothing. So we'll get
her on the phone and find out why Chloe has
slowed her role because you meant in a car. Okay,
hang on Lane, Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Second date update with TJ, Amanda and j Rod on
kJ three.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
We got to invite Chloe in for the second date update.
Hi Chloe, Hi, So okay, So we talked to Lane.
He said at a red light, he was in his convertible.
You rolled down the window and said, hey, Lane, when
are you going to take me for ride? And your convertible?
That Lane and then you messaged him right away. You
were very motivated to go on this date, drive around,
stop in some places and all that stuff.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
What happened well, he's right.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Lane is really nice. I know him from school, and
he's cute. It's really cute, and I kind of got
a little forward and asked him out. But this is
gonna sound kind of dumb.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Lane.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Where's driving gloves?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Yeah, I mean, like, what what are I don't even
know what driving gloves are.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Glos.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
I guess I would hold the wind or something off your.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Hands fingerless first of all. And he wears them when
he drives, and I just I did inquire. I asked
him if he said that they help him grip the
steering wheel or whatever. Okay, Okay, I mean I don't
think you need to precision steering wheel to drive around Edmund.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Yeah yeah, okay, all right, Lane, Let you want people
to think you drive fast? Lay, come on in your
lanes on the phone. You so you wear these driving gloves?

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Yeah? So I'm hearing that right right? You have a
problem with my driving gloves like that? That's really it?

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Well, it's just odd, Wlaane. I mean, you need gloves
to grip the steering wheel driving like thirty miles an
hour around Edmond.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
I wear them for other reasons too, I mean, you
got to keep the oils off the steering wheel. It's fashionable, fashionable.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Wait, you wear driving gloves for fashion?

Speaker 2 (03:57):
I mean I think I think I look good when
I wear them, and like, hey, it's a convertible, Like,
what's the hate fashion?

Speaker 1 (04:04):
It's a thing, it's a it's a it's an experience.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Yeah, well, does anyone else think this is odd?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I mean well, I mean yeah, I think it's odd
because I didn't know what driving gloves were. Also, my
cars are terrible. I don't have a nice cart oils
on the steering wheel, or I have no fashions. I
know what gloves are far, but I don't get it,
So I mean, yes, I mean I do think it's odd.
Chloe Amanda, you seem like you support an accessory and when.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
You're I'm currently wearing glasses that I don't need because
they look cute on my face.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
So maybe that's how he feels about his gloves.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
I mean, Chloe, you were in my convertible wearing cowboy boots.
I mean, are you going to go out roping out
any cattle or anything.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
That's totally different.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
That's they're cute.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Those are shoes, Yeah, like right, they're cute and whatever,
like my gloves. Your gloves are cute gloves.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Oh you're making the defense for fashion.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
I just can't explain it. But driving gloves are too
much for me.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
It's a turn off, you know.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Okay, it's a turn off.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
So that's it. You don't want to go out with
Lane again because he wears driving gloves.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
I feel that way about socks with sandals.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
You know.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Sometimes we just have things we don't like. I guess
try it.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Yeah, next time we are on a low speed chase
where you're driving, we're gonna let you go. Okay, Okay again,
but again, I also fancy sunglasses. I'm not a fancy sunglasses.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
We're not bougie enough.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
I know this. Maybe maybe Lane, maybe you're ahead of
the trans lane.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Yeah, I think so that's what we're looking to bringing
it back.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Trendsetters. It was. I guess it was a thing. I
didn't know about that either. Okay, Lane, thanks for coming
on the second date update. Okay, man, Thanks Lane?

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Hey, thanks guys. Take care.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
So this in unnecessary accessory UNNECESSARYSSY A mecessary category?

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Is that what it is?

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Like? Why else would she have a problem?

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Why? Why?

Speaker 1 (06:13):
But why too many sas? And that's you said. I
want to like it. Why why are you having a
problem like it? Because she had a problem like you.
I don't know. Maybe someone can explain it. Four oh
five for six one or two seven? Is it pretentious?

Speaker 2 (06:25):
You know?

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Like I'm picturing him going, uh so, where would you
like to go? I figure we had a drink as
he's pulling the gloves on his head. You know what
kind of car he drives? To?

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Like?

Speaker 1 (06:32):
In my mind, I want him to be driving like
a like a Honda convertible or like something very like chill.
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
I don't make a convertible. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Just I don't know why she I don't Yeah, I
get I get it, but I don't get it.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
So if someone.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Wants to explain it, fine, to be honest, I don't
know why. It's many problems we have in the world
with our mates and stuff, cheating or things like that.
Is that the least of the thing he could do?
I would be okay with it.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
That's a good call. Gloves on no, yeah, yes, people.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Were people were gloves to play football in other things baseball.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
All that I mean he's safe.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
He's safe.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Right, I'm trying to have an accident.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
He's obviously very safe.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
I'm trying to think. Gosh, I'm trying because like Amanda,
you said, I'm wearing glasses just for fashion.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Yeah, I don't need this.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
He said he was wearing them just for fashion, but
she didn't recognize the fashion thing in the beginning, so
she just had a problem with him wearing gloves to dry.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
It might not be important to her. And he also
said he draws a convertible, so he's probably I don't
want to get it dirty when you're eating and stuff,
as much as get on your steering wheels exact people
by steering wheel for people by steering wheel protectors.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
It's just another version of his steering wheel protector.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
But he's bringing on his hands and he's.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Got to protect his hands from being sunburnt, and that
convertible he's gonna have farmer's tan. Just his fingertips are
going to be taped, his fingertais and his knuckles. Okay, listen, we.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Say gift is the most lamest one I've heard. Okay,
doing the show like you had the guy who you
know for.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Real, you had the one who borrowed the dose deodorant. Okay,
I understand that one. You had the one who whatever
but glove.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Shari hold On on the podcast, Shari, you could have
a man that's cheating on you and a man that's
doing all these things wrong and one.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Hair on your deodorant.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
You're gonna throw that man away. You can say that.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
About almost the man out of and I would have
threw him away.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
That's what I'm saying, want to because you don't.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Want to versus.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
What I'm saying. Everyone has their thing apparently, so okay, Shari,
thanks for calling.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
All right bye,
