Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Amanda and j Ron's second date updates on
kJ three.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Cody on the second date update, what's up, Cody, Hey here,
you're picking up chicks at Target.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (00:16):
So I met Gracie at Target in like the self
checkout area, so you know, we just started chatting in line.
All she had was like a salad and like a
like a drink orange juice. So I just, you know,
I let her go in front of me.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Yeah, yeah, it was being nice. She was also very cute.
So I'm leaving.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
Target and she's waiting outside and she's.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Just like, hey, you know, she wanted to buy me lunch.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
Sometimes I'm like okay, so you know, kindness, days off kids,
Like later that week we end up eating for lunch, chill.
First date. Good, you know, good connection, I think. And
it turns out we're both in the Hallmark Christmas movies.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Like that.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
That got us into like the second day where she
invites me over to her house. This was Sunday to
watch Hallmark movie, you know, a little.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Spike Todd Coco, you know, maybe a little Suggle Time
of Course movie. You know, I'm reaching out to him.
I'm trying to figure out the time you know, get
her address.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
He never gave me any details. So like the movie,
n I just didn't happen.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Okay, no, I mean nothing.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
No response, just like ghost and straight up this with
no response.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Okay, all right, well this is where we come in.
We're gonna get her on the phone and say what's up. Yeah,
maybe she fell in love with the big city lawyer
that came home.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
It was the flannel, wasn't it. Okay, you know this works.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
We'll get her on the phone and just ask her
why she's ghosting you after setting up this Hallmark Christmas
movie date. Okay, all right, we'll take a break to
play a couple of songs and do that in just
a few minutes.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
On kJ went on three tj Amanda and Jay Ron
in the morning.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
This is tj Amanda and j Ron's second.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Date update on kJ one O three. Gracie, Welcome to
the second date update.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
I im all a.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Little confused, but especially Cody, who apparently you asked him
out and target had a lunch date, set up a
second date at your house, okay, which no one's doing
that if you didn't like him, but then you then
you never followed up on that and he's trying to
figure out why.
Speaker 6 (02:25):
Yeah, he had like a really negative.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Attitude, and it was just like kind of a big
turn off. Like we talked about like I love.
Speaker 6 (02:34):
Hallmark Christmas movies and he said like, oh yeah, I'm
a fan too, and so like that's why I suggested like.
Speaker 5 (02:41):
Coming to my house and being like a movie night.
But then like after that, you got like kind of
like nasty, Like, hold on, how do I get how
was I nat?
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Cody's on the phone here, Cody, Yeah, he called us.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
He wants to know, like what happened? Oh great? How
did he get nasty? Hello?
Speaker 6 (03:06):
I mean he just was like I guess it was.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
More negative, Like he was like those Hallmark movies are
like fake and stupid.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
And he was just like they are fake and stupid.
Speaker 6 (03:19):
But like you had told me you liked them, Like
why did you say you liked them?
Speaker 3 (03:23):
That's like why I like him, Like you don't think
they're like.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Ridiculous, okayaying I like them too. They're a little bit cheese, Yeah,
a little bit, but also there you know, you can
just be in a moment enjoy Yeah, I mean, like, I.
Speaker 6 (03:39):
Mean I get that. It's like we but I also
think they're like real life little mini fairy.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Tales, you know, and.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
That's not real life, Like people don't quit their like
big Hollywood job as a lawyer and moved a small town.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
And marry theo at the diner.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
That doesn't happen.
Speaker 6 (03:58):
They told, right, he's hating I just I don't think
they're cheesy at all. I didn't like the negativity. You know,
he was hating on it till.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
We both agree like these Hallmark movies, but.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
We like them but for different reasons.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
I mean, I hear you, but I don't like your reason,
and I really don't.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
You were laughing. We all were laughing about that.
Speaker 6 (04:27):
I know, but like here's the thing, like, and it's
funny kind of out, but like honestly, it was like
really negative and rude, and it was more like the
energy and vibe. I'm like hating on the thing that
I like, and I like it for a really specific reason,
and I just don't like that he is hating on
the thing that I love about it.
Speaker 5 (04:43):
It's just not gonna work. I can already feel it.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Even real life fairy tales.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
You're holding out for that Hollywood to move back to
your hometown. You can look at the job as a waitress. Okay, Gracie,
thanks for coming on the second date updates.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
Thank you.
Speaker 6 (04:59):
I feel so embarrassed now.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
We feeling by Okay.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
You know what, though, I feel like this could have
worked because you both were kind of laughing about it.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Cody, Yeah, I don't get why she's so sensitive about homework,
but I mean, I grew up watching these movies, like
with my sisters when I was younger.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
I you know, when we were kids.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
You know, they thought they were romantic, you know, I
thought they were born. So we had fun watching them together.
It was like an experience.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, yeah, Okay, let's people. Hey, people take these movies seriously,
so be careful. You and I can watch them together
because I watch them for the same reason kind of YouTube.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Thanks for coming on the second date update.
Speaker 5 (05:40):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
Okay, someone's obviously, even though they doesn't seem like this
is a big deal, someone went too far.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Is she going too far.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
With her you do not spoil my Hallmark movies? Or
is he going too far saying oh those are dumb,
you know, like she said, spoiling.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Her vibe like them different reasons.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
I think she's more like the female and why they
like the Hallmark movies and I'm and he's more like me,
the guy who likes the idea of the movies, but
also like this is so bad, right, this is terrible, right,
Like that's what makes it fun? See, and you're like, no, TJ,
you're taking all the romance.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Out of it.
Speaker 5 (06:16):
I once broke up with a guy because I really
loved Renaissance fairs and he did it and he thought
they were cheesy, and I may.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Be mad, okay, but he still would like to go.
He just thought they were dumb.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
Okay, I'm disrespected. You didn't like it. I liked it.
Four five, six, one two seven.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
If you want to chime in on this second date update,
kJ went on through ad, TJ Man and Jay Roun
in the morning.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Hey, guys, this drive through guy?
Speaker 2 (06:37):

Speaker 5 (06:43):
I'm headed to the second one.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Dude, you are drive through guy? Okay, what what are
you calling about? Everybody call him this second day up
day right?
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Yes, yeah, my phone's like blowing off right now? Yeah,
okay for people just joining us.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
She said she liked Tallmark movies.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
She said, I do too, and then she realized the
reason he likes him is because they're stupid and cheesy
and funny, and she thinks they're real life fairy tales.
She didn't want to deal with that negativity drive through.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Guy. Well, he is right. Why, I'll tell you what.
Speaker 6 (07:14):
Do you realize that they've got the same characters, they
got pove characters, three.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Different types of scenes in the same plot.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yeah, and what are you saying?
Speaker 2 (07:23):
So so do real fairy tales, so do princess fairy tales.
And she just called them real life fairy tale that's true.
Speaker 5 (07:29):
Isn't really that easy?
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Guys? Yeah, yeah, kind of it is.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
See you you're you're, you're you're not even I like
him because they're cheesy or whatever.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
You just like, these are the worst things ever.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
I would never watch these movies, I see, Okay, So okay,
so you're kind of like me, except for you to
understand what's fun about it is? Yeah, it's the same story,
just a different package, and it's and it's terrible and
the worse the acting is the better the movie is, right.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
And do you ever think that it's the same girl
falling in the level with the different guy, and hour
and a half later, is it not Listen?
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Candice Cameron Beret has issues with finding love okay and
Soda Lacey.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Soda Lacey, Yeah, so does she so.
Speaker 5 (08:11):
She can come?
Speaker 2 (08:12):
