Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is GJ Amanda and Jud's second date update on
kJ one O three. Welcome to the second date update. Okay,
I know you want another date with Craig.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
I'm feeling bummed, to be honest. Well, you know, we
talked for almost a month before going on our first
official date, so we put in sometimes and we had
like amazing, amazing chats. We did FaceTime phone calls like
we were in He lived in Tulsa, so he decided

(00:36):
to drive here and take me out to dinner.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
And it was so good.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
It was just like one of the best best first
dates ever. Yeah, and I'm you know, I'm like a
hopeless romantic. So I missed. I missed read a lot
of my dates my friends have said, but Craig felt
like very real. He brought me flowers, He uh walked

(01:04):
me to my door, d MA good night.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
It was streaming. Sounds like it, okay, and the gentleman
kisses you good night at your doorstep and drives back
to Tulsa after the perfect day.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Yeah, okay, it was Yeah, it was like a movie date.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Okay, it sounds like it. Why are you on the
second date update? What the hell's going on here? Happening.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Okay, So after the.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Date, we're having these like big chats.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
You know, we're having like quality discussions about what we're
looking for with the relationship. And he's telling me, he's
telling me literally what he's looking for, and I'm telling
him it's like very transparent and clear conversations, and then
he just like stays away. Don't you know what happened?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Oh? Wow? There was talking, there was communication, and then
there was nothing. Okay, what happened? Did you say? I mean,
did you scare him with relationship talk?

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Maybe? I keep going over it, you know, I keep
reviewing everything I've said, and I don't think I had,
because they don't in my life have like hardcore deal
breakers other than like obviously crazy things. But I feel
like a partnership is growing together, and so I felt

(02:27):
we were both really on the same page.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Okay, all right, Well we will get him on the
phone and ask him why he faded away after things
seemed to be moving in the direction you both wanted. Okay,
so beautifully, just my past experience with second date updates,
that was a lot of talk very quickly after our
first date. You okay, yeah, I mean they had been
talking before they ever went on the date. By the way,

(02:52):
we'll get him on the phone. I will take a break,
play a couple of songs. I'll do that coming up
the second Date update with TJ on kJ Let's get
Craig on the second Date update. And I gotta say, Craig,
you know, Julie described you as like a perfect gentleman,
and even Craig was like, I don't want to go
on the radio and blast Julie. So we just had

(03:15):
to tell you straight up. Julie's right here, say hi
to Julie.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Hey, Julie, h Greg.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
She said everything was going so well. You guys talked
for like a month before you ever went on a date.
You trolled down to Tulsa is a romantic date. You
talked about what you're looking for, relationships and all this stuff.
And Julie doesn't know what happened because you just kind
of just all of a sudden, just faded away. Yeah.
I mean I don't really understand what happened either. I
thought thinks were moving her in good direction. Yeah, yeah,

(03:46):
I mean I think I was just a little bit
shocked because you put me in the friend zone.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Why why do you think why do you think why?

Speaker 1 (03:58):
What made you think you were in the friend zone?
I mean, Julie, you told me I'm the best friend
you've been looking for, and I'm thinking to myself, like,
I've got friends here in Tulsa. I don't need to
commute for more friends. Wait did you say that he's
the best friend you're looking for?

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Julie. I don't remember exactly what I said, but okay,
I mean what I meant, like, what I meant to
say was that I always wanted to be in a
relationship with my best friend. That's what I was meaning.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
If so meeting me, you are the best friend she's
looking for?

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Yeah, meaning I think, Yeah, I believe. I believe that
we could be in a romance and the best friends.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Okay is that too much? No?

Speaker 2 (04:58):
No, I me, I think that sounds really great.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
I just feel like an idiot for for assuming. I mean,
this is now So what okay, Craig, So what are
we feeling here? Yeah? That's still good to me?

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Yeah, I mean if you are, Julie, well, yes, I
am all in. I this is crazy.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
No friends, I believe we're going a second day here.
I feel like we're gonna we're getting way more than
a second day. You guys, maybe this was meant to be.
This was like couple's therapy and we just picked a whole.
There's a whole decipher the communication. Now we're good.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, success. People listening right now. Yeah, there's a lot
of people listening right now. And I mean, I guess
you just made this public, right.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
I'm a sweating Yes, I get so. I can't. Let's
get off the phone and make a plan. I want
to see you.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
This may be the best second deal. We all got
miles of talk and make things happen. Can we come
to a wedding someday? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Absolutely, I don't want.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
To freak out. Yeah, you guys, go live happily ever
after keep us up to date. Okay, thank you so much.
Thank you. Two things. That was by far the best
second date update outcome we've ever had. Secondly, it was
very mushy. I'm kind of embarrassed right now. Mushy embarrasses me.

(06:37):
Public display of mushy is what we just got there. Okay,
maybe maybe it's just me. Okay,
