Daniel doing good.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
How are you guys doing today?

Speaker 2 (00:11):
I want to get you another date with Mandy here.
So what what's the story of your first date? And
why do you need us right now?

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Well, just in a nutshell, we met on this dating
app and you know, just kind of hit it off.
So we decided to you know, do dinner and check
out a few bars over in Bricktown. And that was
pretty much it. You know, I think she was kind
of tired of whatever.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
But wait, wait, wait, wait, we may think she was tired.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Yeah, yeah, did she fall asleep?

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Well, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
By the end of the night, she she was acting
a little weird. But you know, honestly, in my opinion,
the date was going good. I mean, she was flirting
pretty hard, and you know, because of that, I thought
I thought that we had hope that we'd go out
some more. And then she cut me off altogether. And
I have no idea what.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Okay, right, well at anything, And we'll just find out,
you know, if she was annoyed by you or there's
some other reason she doesn't want to go out again,
and who knows, maybe we'll get you another date.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Okay, we'll talk to her next.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Second Date up date kJ on all three, tj Amanda,
Jay Rod in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
The Second Date Update with tj Amanda.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
And j rod on kJ one three. Welcome to the
Second Date Update, Mandy. Mandy, are you well?

Speaker 2 (01:27):
I mean, we're kind of trying to figure out how
you are with Daniel because he said that, you know,
you guys, you met on an app, you did dinner,
drinks or whatever. Everything seemed great. By the end of
the night, you were just kind of, I don't know,
he said you look tired or you were done with it,
and then you haven't really contacted him since.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
So what happened? Tell us?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Yeah, so the date was really good and Daniel seems good,
but my problem is that he pitched up the hitch hiker.
I'm really here about how I felt about.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
We picked up a hitch hiker.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Wait wait, wait wait wait, okay, okay, so I'm guessing
that you know, you two were in the car together
and he's like, Hey, I'm just.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Gonna pull over and pick up this hit. Heyaniel, right, there,
I'll get him. Daniel, did you pick up a hitch hiker?

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Look, he wasn't a hitch hiker. Okay, did you know
he wasn't a hitch hiker?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Were you a driver?

Speaker 2 (02:23):
No?

Speaker 3 (02:24):
No, he wasn't just some random dude on the side
of the road.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
He was.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
He was just a guy who needed a ride. Was
a stranger asking for a ride. So that's a hitchhike.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Wait, Daniel, how how did this go down? How how
did this guy end up in your car?

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Well, we were just parked on the on the in
the parking lot, and you know, he just came up
and asked if we were driving north, which we were.
So I just decided to give him a ride.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
I wanted to help him out.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
I mean, did you consider that I might have felt unsea?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
He seemed like a good guy and he was in
the back seat.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Weed.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Everyone in Bricktown smells like that, like.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
B o and weed. Everybody.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Maybe, Mandy, maybe it was just your smell.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Of bo and weed, because everyone in Bricktown smells like that. Okay,
So Mandy, okay, so you mentioned that you felt unsafe, Like, listen,
this this stranger, I don't know, was sitting in the
back seat behind me.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
I didn't feel safe.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
That's your deal breaker, Like, you know, he gave someone
a ride and you kind of felt uncomfortable.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Yeah, I mean he lost me to caring more about
some stranger than me.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Yeah, safe.

Speaker 6 (03:42):
I don't sat guys who make me feel use.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Yeah, that's it. Okay, what do you mean that said?

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Okay, So I used to the guy in New York,
same as Jeff, and he used to talk to homeless
people all the time, like engauge them in conversation.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Seems nice, that's a nice thing to do.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
But I hear what Mandy's saying. It made me feel unsafe.
It made me feel like he prioritized talking to the
stranger over like my potential safety. Yeah, it really annoyed me.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
So I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Sorry I help anything.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Look, first of all, I was right there. It's not
like anything was going to happen. And plus, I think
I should get some credit for being a nice guy
who helps people.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
I mean, that's kind of what I'm thinking.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
You know, it's different, lady, were you afraid of this stappiness?

Speaker 2 (04:26):
I'm saying, Listen, you never know what's gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
The guy's in the backseat.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
You're right, You're right. I okay, Well, Mandy, so you're out,
You're done. No more dates, okay, all right, many update.
We appreciate you, thank you, Okay, bye.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
So Daniel, does it make sense?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
I mean, I get that you're like, my dad's one
of those guys. Just pick a rando up, I'll give
this guy a right, this guy needs a ride.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
And I remember as kids going, we don't know this guy.
Why is this guy in our car?

Speaker 2 (04:54):
You know, like why he was just being a nice guy.
But do you get that maybe she felt unsafe about it,
and that's why you're not getting up date.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
You can't just assume that everybody's a bad guy. And
this is not the first time I picked up somebody
and gave them a ride. And usually people are very
nice and very appreciative. I've never had anybody give me
any trouble.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Okay, all right, well cool, Well Daniel thinks, yeah, congrats
on that.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
I'm sorry. It's just to my nature. It's just my
nature to help people. And if she's got a problem
with that, then whatever.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Okay, all right, well Daniel, thanks for coming on the
second date update sorry, we couldn't get you another date.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
But you seem like a good guy. You'll be great,
all right, thank you, Daniel.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Okay, now I said, you know, I think he's just
being a nice guy.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
But I'm not doing it. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Yeah, especially like jay Rod sitting in the back seat,
that's what happened. I mean, that's when someone's hidening your
back seat is because they can easily just like you know,
kill you something.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, slip up behind you. You never know. And my
wife would flip out.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
But is she being too tough on him? Is he
just a nice guy being a nice guy? Or is
she absolutely right? Four oh five or six L one
or two seven if you want to chime in on
a second date update.

Speaker 6 (05:59):
I agree. I think that he's a very nice guy.
I don't see any problem with that, with what he
did at all. You know what, I'd be happy to
go on a date with him.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
A few murderers ruined giving a ride to people for everybody.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
Yeah, have you and.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
My home?

Speaker 4 (06:18):
Have you ever given a right?

Speaker 6 (06:20):
I have?

Speaker 3 (06:21):
I have?

Speaker 6 (06:21):
In the past. Now, my aunt, my aunt Rose always
told me, no, don't don't pick up, No, hitchhikers, you know,
so I'm kind of particular. You know, I won't tick
anybody up, but I would give somebody a right if
they needed it.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Well, especially because you're packing heat.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Right.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
My question, my question for you is because I agree
with your aunt. I listened to the propaganda when I
was a kid that you could die if you pick
up a hitchhiker. Yeah, okay, what would make you go
this person is worthy of being picked up?

Speaker 1 (06:52):
And this person I probably am.

Speaker 6 (06:54):
Afraid of my instinct I trust, Okay.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Because I just want to bring up you know, Ted
Bundy was a very charming gentleman, cheery wise.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
I think it should be noted that you are a
person who protects themselves and I respect absolutely. I think
that is yes, So good job for you for that.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (07:12):
You know Jesus will come to you defief in the night.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
So I mean, okay, you know what, as long as
we're having this conversation, I thought if Jesus like came
back today, would I be one of the people that'd
be like that?

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Guys?

Speaker 2 (07:30):
That guy's a love that guys you say, you know.

Speaker 6 (07:35):
Right, would you look at him for a minute?

Speaker 4 (07:39):
That's about you.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Know, that's a good yes. I like your perspective.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
And also, while we're having this conversation, Amanda, you and
I had this conversation a couple of weeks ago. If
we treated strangers like we treat stray dogs, everyone would
be taken care of right.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Now, it's so much nicer to dogs.

Speaker 5 (07:56):
The gaman.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Yeah, I would give any dog a r And the
dog is more likely to kill.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Me than a person is. And he smell like b
ellen Waite. That's so true. Thank you, Jennifer.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
Jennifer, all right, thank you.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
I'm still not picking someone up myself, but I at
least wouldn't get

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Mad at the guy for doing it if I'm not
with him, of course,
