2nd Date Update Jackson And Kate From Edmond "He Was A Whooooo Guy"

Jackson and Kate went out on a (what he thought) great first date at Dave and Busters. But he won EVERYTHING!!

Is this why there hasn't been another date?

A fun guy. What's the story of your first day
with Kate?

Speaker 3 (00:13):
I met Kate on a dating app and I could
tell she was fun.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
It didn't take herself too seriously.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
So I asked her out to Dave and Busters, which
I thought would be a fun mix of dinner and
games like.

Different that is a fun icebreaker tighter Yeah, yeah, okay, cool, Yeah.

I mean I thought we were vibing, we were laughing,
we were playing games and stuff. And anyway, like halfway through,
she says she's going to the bathroom, and she just
never came back.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
In the bathroom quick and then what do you mean
she never came back?

Speaker 1 (00:49):
I was looking around.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
I waited, like twenty minutes, I was, I texted her
and nothing.

So eventually I just left.

Maybe something happened in the bathroom that we don't know about.

Maybe and now she's ghosting me.

he sounds like it, yeah, I mean you don't know,

Maybe there was no bathroom and she like called rub
and looks scoot it up. We will will get Kate
on the phone and just ask her.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
We gotta know what happened on your date with Jackson,
because you know, you guys went to David Busters. He
sounds like, fine, you're eating food, you're drinking drinks, you're
playing games, and he told us you said, hey, I
got to use the bathroom. I'll be right back, and
then that was it. He never saw you again.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Wow. Okay, he's not wrong about what happened at all.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
We were at David Busters, and at first I thought,
you know, this was kind of cute, something different. But
within the first five to ten minutes I realized that
Jackson treats games like he's competing for the Olympics.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Every time he won, he threw his hands in the
air and he was whoa.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Wait, turning around.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Wait, wait, wait wait. So you're in the middle of
David Busters and it's not just like whoo, it's like whoa,
everybody's wrong. Okay, let's go. So this was not good
for you.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Apparently, No. No. I was like, Okay, this dude is
definitely not reading the room.

So yeah, I excuse myself when I bailed.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Yeah I have experienced Yeah wait, does this happen to you?

Yeah? Some of the like games bring out a side
of dudes that you don't know existed until you see it.
And then you see it and you're like, I don't
want to see this anymore.

was just being goofy.

I thought I thought you'd like that kind of humor.

It wasn't humor.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
It was loud, and it was really like secondhand embarrassing.
I mean, it kind of sounds like first hand embarrassing.

I'm the one on the date.

It's my day that I'm embarrassing.

Realized that she was going to be that sensitive about it.
Do you think yelling whoo at David Busters is a
good way to charm your first date? Yeah? Man, that's
good fun. I thought you were fun. I thought you
were mature, so wow. Okay, well thanks Kate.

won't hear from us anymore like you did to him

Okay, I don't go to David Busters have a stuffy
first date.

Would do something like this, Okay, I've seen it. My
wife would roll her eyes and not want to be
around me, and I think if I would have done
it on a first date, I might not be married
to her right now. I will tell you that because they're.

Gonna warm up to it.

Speaker 2 (04:38):

was getting tired of losing and so he's a poor winner. Yeah,
and she didn't like it because she was losing what

if they were playing a game together and they got
fifty thousand tickets and he went, whoo, this would be awesome.
I also don't love a competitive dude, like I don't
love the competitive nature.

So maybe that's something she saw. She's on the competitive
side and was like, oh.
