Speaker 2 (00:05):
Jeff from Okay, see on the second date update. How's
it going, Jeff?
Speaker 3 (00:08):
Hey, Jeb, good?
Speaker 4 (00:09):
How are you guys got to get.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
You another date with Julie?
Speaker 2 (00:13):
What you guys met at a restaurant or tell us
a whole story.
Speaker 4 (00:16):
Well, so I actually met Julie when I was standing
out on line outside of Dave's Hot Chickens, just waiting
for my to co order, and we started talking. We
realized we both worked downtown, two blocks from each other,
so I said we should do lunch sometimes. Okay, Yeah,
So we wound up meeting for lunch last week. We
(00:36):
sat together for well over an hour. We had a
great time, and you know, I really wasn't expecting like
a big spark on, just like a simple lunch date.
But we've had such a great time, like a real conversation,
and you know, I.
Speaker 5 (00:49):
Said we should do it again sometime. I texted her
a couple of times afterwards, and she just hasn't responded then.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Okay, which which also, like you both worked downtown, it'd
be great, like, yeah, let's do lunch against y time.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
I'm easy Okay, yeah, I know she listens to you
guys a lot, you know, especially with the second Date updates.
I figured that maybe there would be some great way
to get her attention.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Yeah, okay, so she knows what the second Date update is. Okay,
all right, great, then we will get Julie on the
phone and we'll just we'll just get right to it
and hopefully get you guys another lunch date or something. Okay,
thank you, all right, we'll talk to her next Second
Date update kJ one, O three, tj Amanda and j
Rodd in the morning.
Speaker 6 (01:33):
The Second Date Update with tj Amanda and j Rod.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
On kJ three Julie on the Second Date Update. Thanks
for coming on, Julie. We understand you listen every morning,
so you know what you're getting into.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I guess I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:50):
Yeah, I listen to you guys and I can't believe them.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Okay, So, so, so you know Jeff is here.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
But before we get.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
To him, why don't you seem to want to go
to lunch with him again or date him at all?
Speaker 5 (02:05):
I mean he was nice, like lunch was fun or whatever.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
Oh no, whatever.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
Like he just started talking about celebrities. Who get tons
of plastic surgery and how he doesn't like women who
change their whole faces. And I don't know. He just
was asking me like did I get anything like done
on me? And I was like, okay, well, first of all,
none of your business.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
And I was like, but I was like no, but
I was, but yeah, I mean I've had a little
botox and some filler and it's nothing major.
Speaker 5 (02:39):
But still, like the way he said made me feel
bad about myself, and I don't know, it was just
like a turn off, like I'm not looking for someone to,
you know, critique what I do with my body, especially
on a first date.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Okay, Jeff, Jeff, I don't know. Jeff's here. You heard
what she had to say.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
I feel like you're making a sound way harsher than
it was. I mean, for the most part, I was
just talking about the celebrities like Madonna and.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
Yeah, yeah, the thing you went on and on about
how women look.
Speaker 5 (03:04):
Like and how you hate that and you just kept
going on and on about it.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
Yeah, so okay, I did, but I wasn't saying that
about you. I mean, in fact, like your answer you said,
maybe a little botox or something, but not changing your
whole appearance.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Well, it still made me feel kind of judged, like
I had to hide what I've already done, and I
knew you.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
Were kind of judging it in the moment, and it
was just like, what is it.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Okay, Now I get what's going on here, because I
believe I do this several times a day.
Speaker 6 (03:31):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
It was I criticize.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Something I don't like in the big world, the biggest
picture or whatever else.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
And don't realize, like there's probably.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Three people in the room that do the same thing.
And I'm not talking about those people, but I mean.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
I totally get it, I really do, and I just
I feel so bad and I'm so sorry. This is
such a great time that I had with you, and
I swear that I wasn't judging you. I was.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
I just wasn't expecting to feel like I was being interviewed.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
About my appearance by a guy I just met.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Really get it.
Speaker 6 (04:03):
Yeah, that's not a good first day question. Hey have
you had work.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Done fixed on yourself?
Speaker 4 (04:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (04:13):
I'm just so embarrassed right now, You're not that guy.
Like I'm not saying that. It just made me uncomfortable
the whole thing.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
So I'm sorry, I'm really sorry if it made you
feel uncomfortable, and listen, I'm not perfect and I really
don't know why I even brought it up.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Okay, the tapology seems very sincere.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
And for someone like me that probably has done this
to someone and no filter.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
And I don't think you speak.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Is there a chance you know that maybe you guys,
you both work downtown.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
You could go get some more convenient lunch try to in.
Speaker 5 (04:50):
I mean maybe someday, I don't know, like lunch or.
Speaker 6 (04:52):
Something casual lunch, nothing, no presh.
Speaker 5 (04:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
Maybe.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
It's to totally my bad. And like you listen, you
have my number. I'll let you comp talk to me
if you want you, I'll just leave it on yourself.
Speaker 5 (05:06):
Yeah that sounds good.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
I mean yeah, but I mean I love you guys.
I mean I'm sorry I can't.
Speaker 7 (05:11):
Give you a better second date update.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Maybe it's good for you get most of that time.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Julie, thanks for listening your first second date update.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
You did it. Yeah, we appreciate you coming on.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Hopefully your last second date update, but thanks for coming on.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
Okay, Okay by Julie.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Okay, a little awkward, especially when she knew what she
was getting into okay, Jeff, and I.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
Feel like it was such a dumb move on my part.
I didn't even mean to fund her what we were
talking about, you know, celebrities and stuff and definitely not her.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
But it sounds like you're like her too conversation. I
get it, I get it.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
I still think she's great.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (05:53):
Oh, I hope she texts her calls or something.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
All right, well, Jeff, sorry we didn't get you another date,
but thanks for coming on the second date.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
Update.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
That's all right, thanks, thank you.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Do you think she is? Do you think she is?
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Should she get I mean, should she give him a break?
I mean, listen, they're both listeners. I don't want to,
you know, make anything happen here.
Speaker 6 (06:11):
But any person who's that quick to acknowledge a mistake,
I think there's a chance that they could be improved.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Sure, sure, come on, and we've already we've already addressed
the elephant in the room. Okay, yeah, I've gotten some
Oh gosh, that's so tamboo on a first date.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Have you gotten work done?
Speaker 6 (06:30):
I heard out to friends I haven't seen in ages,
and they've gone did you do something in your forehead?
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Some botox?
Speaker 6 (06:35):
Up?
Speaker 3 (06:35):
There, and I'm like, where, why?
Speaker 6 (06:37):
Yeah, why?
Speaker 2 (06:38):
The point of doing that stuff is you're trying to
hide the things that you don't want people to know about.
Speaker 7 (06:42):
So weird.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
You feel free to chime in on the second date
update kJ with three TJ Amanda Jay Rod in the morning.
Speaker 7 (06:48):
I was the most sincere apology that I've ever heard. Right, agreed,
I think that guy needs a break. Yes, I think
I think that the stakes happened, and you know, I
just I think he needs a break.
Speaker 6 (07:03):
I agree.
Speaker 7 (07:04):
I think you another chance because I think that life
is too short and if if you can own.
Speaker 5 (07:10):
Up oh my god, sorry, oh my lord, what.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Just happened to you?
Speaker 7 (07:17):
That scared me?
Speaker 5 (07:19):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (07:19):
I just think that if you, if you can own
up to a mistake like that, because mistakes happened, I
think that says a lot about your character. Sure, why
wouldn't you want to give someone like that another chance?
It just sounded very sincere. And I get it. When
we're on a date with someone for the first time,
we get a little awkward, we get a little nervous, yeah,
(07:40):
and we might say things that we don't really necessarily
put a lot of thought in or think, oh, this
could likely as him the person.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
That I'm on a date with.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
Yeah, And there's two ways that he could have said this.
Speaker 6 (07:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
One of the ways could have been like, do you
have any work done?
Speaker 2 (07:54):
Because I see these celebrities like Madonna that look like freaks.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
They get all this.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
Work, they don't look the same or whatever. That's kind
of a turnoff. But if you see him, go do
you get any work done?
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Oh? Some botox?
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Okay, yeah, because I see these celebrities that are so beautiful,
and I wonder, why are you changing your appearance when
you were beautiful in the first place.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
He seems more like he would say the last, and
he's not judging her.
Speaker 6 (08:18):
He's judging these celebrities. She's just kind of like a
byproduct of his judgment because she said that.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (08:24):
But yeah, it would be almost like, and this is
you know, with like gop ones being a big thing,
that's almost the same as like talking about celebrities that
have you some sort of log shot or.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
Something like that.
Speaker 7 (08:37):
Sure like that, and then you know the person across
from you has been using that and that's how they
finally were able to lose weight.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
You know, you just don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
The other reason, the other reason why this is a
taboo first date subject is because if we're getting work done,
whatever that is, trying to lose weight, trying to get botox,
trying to you know whatever, it's because we have a
little bit of a self.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Esteem issue with that, and for you to bring it
up now, like I'm like, no, I don't want you.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
To know that I have these hyper focused Okay, you're right, though,
he seems sincere. If she did indeed ever like him,
I think another lunch would be cool. He seemed like
a yeah dude, like a good dude, Thank you, Taylor.
Speaker 7 (09:24):
Taylor her responses to, really, I think it's gonna happen, but.
Speaker 5 (09:28):
I think she might need time. Yeah, yeah,
