Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is tj Amanda and j Rob's second date update
on kJ one O three had you from okac on
the second date update.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Hi Joe, Hey everybody.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
I want to get you another date with Kelsey, which
you guys met online? Was it like a dating app
or something? How'd you meet?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I met Kelsey through Instagram? It was totally random. She
liked one of my posts super cute. That's how I
sent her a DM and that's okay. Cool.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
So we went to.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Louise for burgers and some beer, classic first State vibes,
and when we were waiting for our table, it felt
like we were already a thing. You know. She was
leaning in, laughing, talking about bars. She wants to take
me to you next time, and I'm thinking, all right, cool,
Like she's into it.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Alrighty, yeah, already saying next time. Mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yeah, Like, no awkward silences, no help me escape this vibes,
none of that.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Right.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
It felt pretty good.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Okay, but you're on the second date update, so what
where does this go wrong?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
For sure? Yeah, because towards at the end of the
night she got a little colder. There was just less
eye contact, kind of scrolling on her phone while I
was talking and away.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Yeah, it just felt like.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
A weird shift, like there just wasn't much communication since then,
And I'm like, what happened? You know, like we clicked online,
we clicked in person, and or at least I thought
we did. So I just want to know what happened?

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Okay, all right, Well that's what we do. We'll get
her on the phone and we'll ask her. All right,
hold tight, we'll figure it out for you.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
All right, take a break, playcup songs and then we'll
see what's up here. With Second Date Update kJ with
all three, TJ Amanda and Jay Rodd in the morning.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
The Second Date Update with TJ, Amanda and.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
J Rod on KJE three. Let's go, Oh, let's go
your motivating Chelsea. Okay, so, so welcome to the Second
Date Update. And you know this is about your date
with Joe. Uh he said, you were like really into him.
Our next date is going to be at this bar.

(02:02):
Just stop. By the end of the date, you were
on your phone, like not really into the date at
all and haven't been since. So what happened?

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Yeah, so listen the first part of the day that
Louise was fine, like we were having.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
A great time.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
But then Joe started doing this thing with our waitress,
like he kept calling her by her first name and
complimenting her leaning over the table like they.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Were old friends.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
And I'm sitting there like do you guys know each
other or something like why are you acting like this? Okay,
and he tells me he says it says hot, but
if you use their first.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Name, you'll get better service.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Yeah, y'all.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
It's felt way more flirty than not. That gave me
big player by.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
That is a thing if you're nice to the server,
nice to you.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah, like you can be nice to your server, of course,
like be respectful, like he was flirting with her. It
was just like too far. It was like it felt
very player. I literally like joked just him and was
like are you very looking up in the bathroom because
it was that uncomfortable.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Oh so you called him out? You called him out? Yeah, yeah, okay,
And then you're like, okay, he's not listening to me.
I'm gonna I'm gonna scroll through my phone because I'm
over this.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
I get it exactly.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Joe.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Yeah, he because I was kind because I called somebody
by their name, which you know was on their name tag.
I don't really get it.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
No, it was way more than that. You are acting
like you were telling her she has the best smile
on the place and joking that she should come sit
with us.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Okay, okay, why why isn't too much Amanda?

Speaker 3 (03:41):
When you were on a first day with somebody, your
goal is to make them feel like they have the
best smile in the room, not the waitress.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
What's happening trying to get good service?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Aren't you?

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Joe?

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Yeah? I don't know. I mean, if you're in secure
that you can't handle me being blight to a waitress,
that's yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
I mean you act on a first date like a player.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Just being out going and knowing how to talk to
people makes me a player in your eyes. Then I
don't know. Maybe you're just too insecure to understand.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Oh wow, Joe. And if I was the waitress, I
would be like, what's up with this guy?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
He's on a date?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Why is he flirting with you?

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (04:19):
He must want to discount Kelsey. Let's say we're misunderstanding this.
Would you want to go on another date with Joe?

Speaker 2 (04:27):
No way?

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Like, sorry, Joe, you're not honest?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Like if you think you are sorry?

Speaker 2 (04:32):
All right? Yeah, thanks, thanks for letting me know.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Good luck with your next waitress.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Okay, where where you let you? Where you let you go?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Kelsey?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Thanks for coming on the second.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Day after Thanks guys. Okay, you know what.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
This seems like another case where I can't be a
nice guy. I can't be nice. I can't be nice
to someone if I'm nice. If I'm the guy and
I'm nice to someone, I must want to sleep with you, right,
be nice.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
There's a fine line between being nice and being a
little flirty and saying this video is the that smile
in the room like that's fleury.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
I don't see it. I guess I just don't know
what her deal is. I consider myself to be a
polite guy. I mean, what do you want me to do?
Be rude?

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Absolutely not, Joe, you keep being nice? And if she's
too insecure? Okay, great, thank you for coming on the
second date up day man, Thanks all right, and again
I know what you looked at me when I said,

(05:32):
can't someone just you know? Uh? But what if it is?
What if it is that? What if what if she
is being insecure that he's just nice to another person?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Let her figure it out on her own.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
No, okay, that's fine, that's right. We don't have to
call name. You're right, we don't have to call names.
But you're saying you're accusing me of something, when maybe
it's your own personal insecurities that are causing it. I'm
just saying, you assume some about me. Maybe I can
assume some about you. I don't know what do you
think he's telling the truth. He seems like just a
nice guy. Some people are just nice people. Or do

(06:05):
you think that he's got a little player in him?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
I think the people.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
