Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is tj Amanda and j Rod's second date update
on kJ.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
One O three got Kenneth from Dell City on the
second date update, how's it going Kenneth's again?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Hey not bad? Thanks? Here are you guys?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
So from what you told us in your message, Emily
kind of was like waiting to swoop in and take
your broken hearted self?

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Is that? Literally? The day after I broke up with
my girlfriend, Emily started working me for a date, working
like if you're ever you know, lonely or need a friend, yes, Tuesday,
but really planting seeds, you know for sure? Nice. A
couple of weeks later, she asked me out for taco
So that was the first date, normal quality, first date,

(00:42):
you know whatever. I texted her a few days later
to see if she wanted to grab food or something,
and she texted me back something about me needing to
grow up. Oh. I asked what that was all about,
and then she doesn't reply at that hair of silence.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Okay, now, did you make some sort of sarcastic joke
or something, or say something that you can think of
that makes her think that way?

Speaker 3 (01:04):
That could be? I mean nothing, I wouldn't you know.
I was on my fairly best first date behavior. I
like to think, you know, I like to make crack
jokes with the guys and stuff, but I wouldn't have
brought out that material. Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Maybe it's something on social Maybe I don't.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Know, Okay, maybe. So here's what we'll do.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
We will get Emily on the phone and we'll just
ask what she means by that, why she thinks you're
immature apparently, and I don't know, maybe it's a misunderstanding,
and we'll get you guys to go out again.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Okay hopefully. Wow, that's always nice. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
If not, you need to grow up right all right,
we'll talk to her next Second Date Update kJ three,
TJ Amanda and Jay Rodd in the morning.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
The Second Date Update with TJ, Amanda.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
And j Rod on kJ one three.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Emily, Welcome to the Second Date Update.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Hi, how are you?

Speaker 2 (01:54):
We want to know how you are with Kenneth and
you already know, Like that's what we're talking about now.
Kenneth says that you literally the day he became single,
you messaged him and said, I'm here for you whenever.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
You want to do whatever you need for me.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
I got you, okay, And then after your first date.
You told him to grow up or something like that,
So why are we not going out?

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Well what happened?

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Well, he does need to grow up. He thinks it's
funny to like make infant babies cry, and I think
it's so immature.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Whoa, how did he make a baby cry?

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Okay, So after dinner, he's walking me out to my car.
That's fine, you know, gentlemanly or whatever. And then there
was a woman with a baby standing in front of
his car. So he turns to me and then he winks,
and then he hits the button on his car key
fob to make his car alarm go off, and it
scares the crap out of the lady and the baby

(02:48):
starts just wailing. And he thought it was funny.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Wait wait wait wait okay, but and he.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Did this on purpose, Yes, he did it on purpose.
I thought it was cruel. I mean I even told
him that it was very nice, and he was like,
no big deal, I'm just joking around, and he was
like he totally downplayed it, but I think it was
really neat.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Okay, now listen, I'm a prankster, you, but making a
baby cry? Kenneth is here Kenneth got in here was this?
Did you thought this was funny that you turned on
your car alarm and scared the woman and made the
baby cry?

Speaker 3 (03:26):
It was funny. You guys don't think that's funny.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
I think it was funny if it was a j
Rod Maby. I don't know if I think it's funny
if there's a baby.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Right, Well, no, yeah, there's a difference between a prank
and making a baby cry.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
I didn't know the baby was gonna cry. I just
threw out my target was the woman.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
She was holding a baby.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
I mean, I didn't know what was gonna happen with
the baby.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
You know something you sent me before you did it.
You knew exactly what you were doing.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
All lot a second, Kenneth Kenneth, So you're saying it, okay,
there's a woman and a baby in front of my car.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Yeah, wink wink, watch this okay?

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Is that?

Speaker 2 (04:06):
What is that what you did?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Well it was an innocent Frank. I'd do it from
time to time. Nobody got hurt.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
The baby will get I'm sorry you scared. You scared
this lady and you made her baby cry. And now
you're saying you don't feel the least it's sorry about it.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
I mean, I'm sorry that you're overreacting about it.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Oh my see, I'm overreacting. You have no remorse for
making that baby.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Cry, as you made her baby cry, Kenneth.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
The baby's cry all the time. That's like one of
the two or three things they even do. I'm not
gonna take the blame for a crying baby necessarily.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Okay, great, great, then I'll say it again. You need
to grow up, Kenneth.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Time to Emily likes the baby more than she likes you, Kenneth. Okay, Emily,
sorry to get you worked up. Thanks coming on the
second date update. Okay, Okay, we appreciate it. Listen again.
I'm a prankster. Yeah, I would think it was real
funny if Jay Rod was standing in front of my
car and I scared the crap out of him by

(05:13):
turning the car alarm. But I at least I would
pretend I'm a little bit like, so she made a
baby because did I.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Need a baby cry? Kenneth. I mean, I'm look, I'm
I'm just shocked. She can't seem to find the funny
in this. To meet the harmless prank you know, no
big deal, Okay, I mean, gotcha?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Okay, from one prankster to another, I can't say I
wouldn't have done it. I don't know if I were
to react to the same way. But thanks for coming
on the second date update.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Bud Well, thanks for trying. Guys. All right, my.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Wife would literally Sarah the kindest, most gentle human being
in the world. She rolls her eyes at me when
she gets mad. But if I did that, she would
punch me in the arm. Oh she would. She would
punch me. She goes right for the shoulder, but just
like and digs it into because she expects something better
from me.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
She keeps you taking stand and you heard us like
we were laughing.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Okay, four or five, four six, Amanda doesn't approve. But
four five, one, two seven, if you want to chime
in on the second day up, even.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Brother, I'm Richie in my opinion about the second day
of day.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Yeah, what do you think, man?

Speaker 4 (06:24):
I think she overreacted, you know, I mean, she's too sensitive.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
I think I agree that this is a nice girl
thing versus a mean boy thing, because he done that's
a mean boy prank thing to do, right right?

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Yeah, but I mean, you know, he's right, babies cry
all the time, so why not one more time?

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Right?

Speaker 2 (06:46):
No, and Ricky, just so you know, I've never done this,
but I planned to start today.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
We've already been an idea. Oh no too, U bro,
Let go.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Babies, watch Oh my God for you?

Speaker 4 (07:06):
All right?

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Okay, Amanda, Okay, you get the you get mean boys
right where pranksters. We think things are funny like this,
but this is funny, right.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
I don't think she should have not given him a
second chance based off of this one instance.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Like, I mean, maybe this was just him being funny.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Outside to stand by my car real quick.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
The reason, the reason why my relationship with my wife
works is because I'm kind of the little devil that
likes to, you know, instigate for fun and stuff like that.
And she's the one who looks at me and rolls
her eyes and holds me in check. If Sarah also
approved making the baby cry, be like you being watch out, babies.
We're going to Costco. We're gonna stare some babies today.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
It has to be a batline though, you know, one
has to be it's funny, and I guess the other
one has to be sis I don't think it's a
big deal. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
You just gotta find somebody that'll slap you in the arm.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yeah yeah, hit me in the shoulder. Okay, all right,
thanks for calling.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Thank you, mean boy, thank you guys.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
All right, boy, Okay, we got three things we need
to know in ten minutes, Amanda, Yeah, one hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Well, obviously there's all kinds of fall things happening, so
I want to give you updated on the local fall activities.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
And then there's also some free food being given away
if you're a federal age. Oh oh oh, for the
because of the shutdown. Yeah, I like that. Let's have
more free stuff for the people that are dealing with
the shutdown right now. Okay, that's coming up in another key.
