Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is t J Janet and j Rod's second date update.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
On kJ one O three. We got Jackie from Mustang
on the second Date update today. Hi Jackie, Hey, have
we already said too much? Because you said you want
to be a little discreet with this?

Speaker 3 (00:15):
I know, well I don't. I just don't want to
get too many details. I don't want to get Adam
the guy I want to un date with. I don't
want to get up in trouble.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Going explained the whole situation up to now, and then
we'll try to figure out why you haven't gotten a
second date so far.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Okay, So I had an issue where I needed to
call into customer service, okay, and Adam was my guy
who entered the phone, and he was, you know, he
was awesome, Like he really took care of me. And
it was one of those things where it took several
calls to get it fixed. So he had given me

(00:51):
his direct line and then he also had called me
back a couple of times. He was really helpful and
he had a really cute voice. So I flirted with
him on the call and okay, here's where he could
like probably get in trouble. But he found me on
social media and ended up asking me out. It's a

(01:13):
little stockersh yeah, you know, he yeah, it was a
little weird, but you know, he has all my info
and everything. So anyway, we talked a little bit, and so,
you know, I told him I'm you know, I was single,
and we met for a drink or two or you know, three.

(01:37):
But it was great. You know, we had a good
time at least, you know, I don't know I thought
we did, but like I got a weird vibe from
him on our date. But you know, it's kind of
awkward the way we met, so like I just you know,
chalked it up to that. But yeah, I haven't talked
to him since, and he, you know, he won't text
me back, and like, you know, I've tried calling him

(01:59):
and it just goes straight to voicemail.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Have you tried his direct line? You still have the
direct line, You've got the super secret role.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
He quit work, I know, no I thought of that,
but I don't want to get him in trouble by like,
you know, calling.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
His work, because I think that those.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Calls are you know recorded.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Sure, sure, okay, so so is he working? I'm like,
are we going to be able to get a hold
of him now, is he no?

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, no, he works afternoons, in noons and evenings.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
So let's wake him up and find out why he
doesn't seem to want to go out with you again. Yeah,
all right, you hang on and we'll get at him
on the phone and ask him.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Okay, okay, perfect, Thank you.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
It's TJ Janet and Jay Rods second date update on
kJ one O three.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
This is the first one of these we've had. Well,
is it anyway?

Speaker 1 (02:44):
I think it is?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Long story short. Jackie was dealing with the customer service
situation on the phone where it took several phone calls
and all that. Adam was her customer service guy, and
she said he sounded cute. She flirted with him, but
that was it. Well, he found her on social media,
asked her out. They went on on the day and
she has not heard from him since and she wants

(03:06):
to She's been resolved and Adam. We got Adam on
the phone to ask him. I will say she was
being very discreet. She doesn't want you to get in
trouble through work or anything.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Yeah, honestly, it's not something I've ever done. I've never
done anything like it before. But I just, I mean,
I felt like she was flirting pretty hard on our call.
I mean I didn't. I didn't. This isn't a like.
I just looked her up and asked her out. I
sent a friend request. She responded, okay, no, one thing
leads to another, and we decided to go out.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
So you didn't just DM her and say, hey, I
really like talking to you. Let's go out. You just
friend requested her and then let the let the ball
start rolling.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Yep, you got it.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Okay, why haven't you asked her out again? In fact,
you're not even replying to her text according to Jackie.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
So I mean, I don't really want to be mean.
I really thought she's super nice, she's super fun. So
like on the phone, she sounded like she was in
her upper twenties, like maybe thirty years old. And I
mean even her profile picture looked like she was around

(04:13):
that age. But I mean in person, she's got to
be in her forties.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Wow. Okay, Okay, I'm okay, I'm not in my forties.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Okay, Jackie's on the phone.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
No, No, I mean I told you my eight hey, Adam, Yeah,
I told you my age on our days.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Well, I need to clarify a few things, Jackie, if
you don't mind, how old are you? I'm thirty four, okay?
And Adam, Adam, how old are you?

Speaker 1 (04:43):
I mean that's thirty four is pretty bad. I'm only
twenty seven, okay.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Seven years is not that big of an age gap.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
I mean it kind of is. And I mean, I
honestly I think you're I'm pretty sure you're older than
thirty four.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Wo go to my Facebook like it has the year
I graduated high school. I mean I think it even
has my birth date on there.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Like no, I mean, come on, everybody lies about things
on social media all the time. We all know that.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
God, Okay, I mean, I didn't change my entire online
identity to make you think that I'm younger than I am.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Well, not only that, Adam, she didn't know you were
gonna go find her on social media. So it's like,
if this guy messages me, I better be ready and
make it seem like I'm younger.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I'm sorry. Maybe you're
not over forty and I'm sorry about that. I just
it kind of looks like you are. Oh my goodness.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Okay, hold on a minute, Adam, Wow, you should stop
talking here.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
But let's let's say she's. Let's say so she's, she's
what her age says on her Facebook and everything? Is that?

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Is that?

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:58):
And we believe I believe it is. Is that too
old for a second date?

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Like seriously, I look too old for you?

Speaker 1 (06:08):
I mean it's it's a lot, it's a lot of things.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
So oh wow, so you're saying no, you know, Okay,
oh wow, okay, okay, all right, Adam, Well thanks for
coming on the second date update.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
We appreciate it, buddy, Yeah, thanks for going.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Okay, let's talk to you later. Okay, Man, Jackie, now
do you want to tell where he works? It's gonna say.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
It's been a while since. Uh man, I feel so
bad about myself, Like I wish he would have said
I had like bad breath or something, not that I
apparently look like an old lady, Like, yeah, I think
there's something else going on.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Yeah, I'm sure you look.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Well there's definitely, yeah, I there's something going on, and
I definitely don't want anything.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
To do with it. So Okay, I feel bad for you, Jackie,
but you're awesome, So thanks for coming. On the second
date update, he'll be fine. Good luck of the good
luck of the future.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Okay, thank you guys.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Yeah, okay, that's good. You know what. She was way cool,
she you know, she was cool about that because that
guy could gotten well, the way she described it, he
could have gotten in big troubles. He described it more like, no,
I friended her. I don't even know. If I don't know,
I don't know the rules.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
First of all, I work, okay, so I can't really
tell you where I work, but like I do the
call center thing. And first of all, he didn't have
the sense to look at her birthday when he pulled
up the account. And second of all, that's kind of
not what you're not supposed to do when you that.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
But wait, hold on a second. So you're saying, if
you have an extended service thing going on with someone,
you're not supposed to creep on their social media while
you're doing that and go ahead and friend request them
and then ask them out. That's you mean, that's frowned
upon as a customer service agents.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
That is that is you're not really supposed to be
doing that. That's crazy, I mean, I guess, I mean,
I've had people hit on me while I'm on the phone,
was like, Oh, your voice sounds so sexy. I'm like, uh, okay, Now.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Let me ask you this though. Have you ever been
on the phone with someone and thought, I wonder what
this person looks like and you just start going through
their photos and everything else. You're like, yeah, have you ever?

Speaker 4 (08:27):
Have you ever creepd on anybody? Just like I always
generally wonder, like when I talk to somebody is in
general on the phone, I'm like, what do you even
look like? Absolutely, voice doesn't the voice doesn't match. I
feel like this is gonna look weird.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Dude, I creep on people all the time.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
I need to.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
I love this side job. I'll tell you what you know.
We have a bunch of people now applying for for
Janet's job, and I'm creeping. Oh, we're creeping on their families.
We're creeping on everybody. Man, they know all your secrets.
We accidentally liked one of their posts. I'm like, no, no, no,
I like and like and like oh yeah yeah, if

(09:06):
I like, it's an ex. In fact, I'll be honest,
if I had your job, I'd be creeping on every
caller a month on the floor, I'd be doing all
of it, okay, Well, well thanks for that, a little
behind the scenes. We appreciate it.
