Speaker 2 (00:09):
How are you?

Speaker 1 (00:10):
We're goods. Where's your awesome accent from? Where are you
from originally?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Wow? I'm originally from England. I love it. Yeah, I
love it.

Speaker 4 (00:17):
Cool.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Okay, I can just hear you talk all day.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
So why don't you tell your story about your date
with William and I'll just sit back and go, oh,
this is wonderful.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Okay, go ahead.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
So I met this amazing local guy called William, and
I'm just saying I love his accent.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
As much as as yours.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
Your enjoying mine right now. And he's like so old school.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
He has like proper man as, like American, like I
can't pick me up. And he came to the door
and he gave me flowers like all American men like this.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Because I was just blown away. You're not.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Sorry, okay, And he's like in the car door and
all that kind of stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
And you know, I'm a feminist.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
I don't need my door open.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
But I like it, you know. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
So then we went to pearl and yeah, and the
date was really good and he drove me.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Home and he walked to my door.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
And I thought maybe he was going to kiss me
or something, but he didn't, and I don't know why,
and I'm really confused. And I don't know whether it's
like a cultural thing, like you'll do that.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Probably because he's he's been this gentleman the whole date
that probably doesn't kiss on a first date.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
You know, yeah, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
And then I texted him and he takes it back,
don't be a stranger.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
And I'm like, what, don't be a stranger?

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I'm so lost, Like I thought, I thought it was amazing,
and now I'm very much aware.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Is that the last time you heard from him? Don't
be a stranger?

Speaker 3 (02:04):
I texted in like ki last week and he literally didn't.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Okay, he's the stranger strange.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Maybe he meant quit being strange and get h okay, Okay.
So anyway, so you haven't gotten another date, and that's
why you're on the second date update, and we want
to we want to, you know, do foreign relations here,
get America in England together. So we're gonna get William
on the phone and try to get you a second date. Okay, okay,
all right, well take a break, play a couple of songs,

(02:34):
and we'll see what he has to say about this.
Coming up for the second date update, kJ went on
three TJ Janet Jay Rod in the morning. It's TJ,
Jannet and Jay Rod's second date.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Update on kJ one O three.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Jody from Oka See went on the State with William
and she loved that he was a.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Gentleman, opened the door for her.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Like, you know, brought her flowers, all this stuff, and smitten.
The last text that William sent her was don't be
a stranger, and then she hasn't heard from him since, so, uh, stranger.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
He meant to say, I'm gonna be a stranger. Yeah,
you don't be.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
A stranger because I'm going to be the stranger. Anyway,
they have not gone on again, so we've got William
on the phone to ask him. So, William, I mean,
come on, you weren't into Jody and the amazing accent
and all the fun stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
You brought her flowers, you obviously were into her.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Yeah No, no, I I one hundred percent was into her,
Please trust me. Like everything about the date was great.
She is beautiful. Uh, you are spot on about that accent.
But except all right, so for some reason, y'all, she
kept hating on my car. Wait, I just bought just
bought the car, and she would not stop hating.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
On it, Like, how how did you hate on your car?

Speaker 4 (03:45):
All right? So so so she like kept being like,
uh is a used car? How old is this car?
I thought you I thought you said you have a
new car, And I was like, what are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:55):
This is this is my new question. This coust smells,
this cust smells them all. And like all the good
vibes that I had from Jody went away when she
started hating on my new car.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Oh, a new car has feelings.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Yeah, it still sounded good in the British accent car
right awesome? Okay, okay, okay, let's get Jody into the conversation. Jody,
were you hating on his car?

Speaker 4 (04:21):
I totally, I totally didn't mean to.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
I think I think I was nervous when I was
just kind of babbling, and I just I was just
confused because he said he he just got a new car,
so I thought he meant like a new new car.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
So I was.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Surprised like, I didn't realize this was his new car
when I got in it.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
It was the one he was showing.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
So you like accidentally hated on my car then, And
I'm permous. It's listen. I know we're on the phone.
It's not a bad car. It's in twenty seventeen. It
is not like a yanky like beater, but like you
just wouldn't stop, uh, just commenting about like what's the stain?

(05:05):
And I was like, dude, come on, I felt really
good about my new car. And I thought it had
a new car smell. I thought the dealership did a
great job making it look brand new.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
I saw it was being really funny because it's the
stay and.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
It's really place and.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
The time you see and it just looks funny and
it might me giggle. Maybe that's so funny.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Okay, yeah, okay, And again, well let's blame it on
a culture.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Thing from America. Maybe in England.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
You joke about Peel's cars, or maybe in America we're
a little two cents.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
In about our cars. William.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Okay, this is the second aid update. I don't know
if you're familiar with it, but this is where we say,
are you sure you don't want to go on another
date with Jody.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
I mean, listen, Jody, you are nice and everything, and
you are gorgeous, but all right, you were really bad
at making conversations. Maybe we should just move on and
chuck this one up.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
A communication barrier.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Yeah, here going, Yeah, all right, yeah, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
All right, William, thanks for coming on the second date update,
and uh we'll let you go.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Okay, all right, cheersy guys, Thanks, kady, bye, all right bye.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
He at least said cheers.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
I guess he's just like really sensitive about.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
His call, like in, yeah, maybe next time, don't criticize
the guy's car.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
I think they're a little sensitive.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
I mean you could listen, you could criticize my car
in your British accent all you want.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
I know, my car is crapped. We're doing in our
English accent.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Jody, thanks for coming on the second date update.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Well it's probably the best, you know. I don't want
to come back into the car mean today.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
He loves his car more than Jody. Okay, you got that, Jody,
We're gonna let you go.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Okay, all right, thanks guys, Yeah, thanks.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
So the question is you want someone that bites their
lip on the date. It just bites their lip, And
I mean, we don't why what.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
What that doesn't fall in the bite your lip category?

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Why why?

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Apparently he didn't like you criticizing his car.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
But if it's a new car, why would you be like,
this is dull? It wasn't It wasn't a new car
yet new to him. I don't care, new to him.
I know, I know. It's just like, gosh, you know,
she said she's beautiful. She's got that accent.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Yeah, like like, no, I know, I know, but he
is proud of something that they've bought.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Yeah, I get that. I get that.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
But also I have always had crappy cars, and I
have crappy car self awareness.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
I know. Yeah my car is not great. Yeah I know.
Sorry it stinks in here. But you know, had some
fish yesterday. Better than a car payment, you know what
I'm saying, Like, yeah, I know, but he has a
car payment.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Okay, I don't know if you want to chime in
four or five for six O one, O two seven
On the second date.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
