Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's TJ Janatan Jay Rides. Second date update on kJ
one O three. Let's get Julie on here for the
second date update. Hi Julie, Hello, Hi, Hi, you sound
so nice. Why would Adam not be going out with
you again? Yeah? What's wrong with him? Is the question
we should be asking, Julie, what's wrong with him? Okay,
(00:22):
give us the story of your first date. Let's try
to figure this out. Okay.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Okay. I met Adam at a party last month, okay,
and I knew he was into me because we talked
for like maybe five minutes, and then he started following
me on social media later that night.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Okay, so he was just creeping all over you, creep
it all over your social like and you know.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
It's in the late hours, so take that for whatever
that means.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yeah, So he messaged me a few days later and
asked me out, which I was anticipating, and it was
like nothing crazy. We met for coffee. I just felt
more comfortable talking.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
To him than like any date I've been on in years.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Okay, get the same vibe from him too.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Yeah, and like we had similar interests and like similar
values and goals and like lifestyle choices okay, and like,
and he set up a real date like that's his
words for like the next weekend and like for a
Friday night dinner, and like he even was like, yeah,
they're like a real date.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Okay. So he was calling it a date and he
was saying, let's go out for real. Yeah. Okay, So
did that second date not happen? I'm guessing.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
No.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Two days later he canceled me and the text was
like having second thoughts on our.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
Date, but it was nice meeting you.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Yeah, And so I literally texted back and I was like,
did I do something wrong? And he like goes to me.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
He never responded, okay, So.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Like he shut the door, like when you say, uh,
I can't go out, but it was nice meaning you
that means goodbye. That's a slam.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
My only thought is like maybe he's in a relationship,
and like she was, you know, thinking like I'd be
on the side that was like no, never mind, but
I just don't understand.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Okay, So maybe he was like, no, I can't do
this to you. Maybe it is him and it's not you,
or maybe it's you, Julie. But well we'll get Adam
on the phone and will just flat out ask him, Okay,
oh great, coming up. Second date update kJ went on
three E TJ Janet, Jay Rodd in the morning.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
It's TJ Janet and Jay Rodd's second date update on
kJ one O three.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Julie called us, said she met this guy Adam. He
asked her out on their coffee date. He set up
a second date. He called it a real date for
dinner and all that. And then a couple days later
he's like, you know what, I've changed my mind basically
have a nice life, and she was like what. She
hasn't heard from him since. So we got to find out, Adam,
what was with the change of art, and we have
(03:00):
Adam on the phone to ask him. Welcome to the
second date update, Adam.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
I mean, like, there definitely were vibes. You know, we
had our coffee date and I was feeling really good
about Julie, and you know, I asked her up to
dinner and like, like you said, like.
Speaker 5 (03:13):
I call it a real date because I think that's kind.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
Of a nice thing. These days, I feel like people
won't really do that anymore.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
And I kept thinking, you know, this could go somewhere good.
She seems real down to earth. She's cool.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
But but here it comes.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
I found out that Julie made up like a secret identity,
and everything she told me about herself seemed to be
a total why like what, I was like what? Okay?
So she told me she's this office manager for real
estate office, right, and her dad works in construction.
Speaker 5 (03:48):
And that she grew up poor. Okay, So that's like
the story she told me, right, And then I dig
through social.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Media, so I find out that her dad owns a
big I mean talking like big instruction company and leasing
business in Texas. And she she says office manager. She's
lifted as one of the heads of the company. Apparently
the company's worth like millions and millions of dollars, like
(04:14):
her family is like struggling to get by.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Okay, So you just you're just offended that she lied.
I guess, yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
I mean I feel like if I can't you know,
I really liked this. I liked her, and I liked
the connection we had, and if I feel like it's
all made up, like who who was I actually talking to?
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Okay, well, let's get Julie and on this conversation, Julie.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Yeah, I didn't completely lie or anything. I did grow
up poor. My dad was basically a hired worker.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
For most of my childhood.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
Okay, okay, so but it's he like a mega millionaire now.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
I don't know the exact numbers, but yeah, like he's
built this amazing company and he's really successful.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
Okay, So I mean, are you, I don't know, did you?
Are you ashamed of that? Or why didn't you just
tell me something that you know that part.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Of life, because then people assume I'm like a rich
girl from a rich family and that's not.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
That's like but I'm not feel like I have like that's.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
What rich is, like me a millions of dollars, big company,
the head of this company.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
It's all you know.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Now, That's why I.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Don't tell people that's like part of the story.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
We grew up poor, and like we live.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
Much better than we did back then, obviously.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
But I don't feel like I'm a rich person, and.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
I don't feel like being judged.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
Based on how much my family's worth.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
I just feel like you should have told me that,
because you know you, you never came across me as
like some elite, you know, snobby rich person.
Speaker 5 (05:42):
I never and I never thought that vibe for you
at all.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Just referred to rich people as like snobby and elite.
And that's why I.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Don't tell people like my family has money.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Oh, because people have opinions of rich people. That does
make sense, Adam, doesn't it. I mean, she wanted you
to like her for being Julie and not make your
opinion based on her family, her daddy being a millionaire
and you're thinking that she's silver spoon girl and all
that stuff.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
Yeah, I mean, I guess that makes sense.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
You know. I get not wanting people to like make
these jedgment calls based this on your bank account, so
you know. But I'm gonna be honest, I don't really
know how.
Speaker 5 (06:17):
I feel about like.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
Their secrets already, you know, things already being kept for
me and making stories up on a date.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
I mean, like it was like their first date.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah, you know, I'm getting you know this person.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
I mean, I just told all the secrets right now,
like it's all out there.
Speaker 5 (06:33):
Everything else they told you is true, Adam.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Okay, listen, you should just go out with Julie again.
Julie likes you, You like her, obviously. She doesn't seem
like a rich, snobby person like you said, did you
get that?
Speaker 4 (06:46):
Yeah, I mean if Julie's cool with me, you know,
calling her a liar?
Speaker 1 (06:52):
The second date up eate Yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Julie, Yeah, it's all good.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Is it all good?
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Julie? Look, I'll buy all right, so you don't think
I'm dating you for your money?
Speaker 5 (07:06):
How's that sounds? That sounds great?
Speaker 1 (07:09):
I think we have a successful second date update here.
Speaker 4 (07:13):
Yeah, I definitely think so.
Speaker 5 (07:14):
Thanks for thanks for having us guys.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Okay, all right, but is it as successful as Julie's dad?
Stop it? See, good for him for building his life. Okay, Okay,
you guys be in touch.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Okay, yeah, yeah, well I'll talk to you Julie.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Okay, okay, bye. We're awesome to get people to go
on a second date. We celebrated kJ w Ale three, TJ, Janet,
Jay Round in the morning.
