Speaker 1 (00:10):
Paige, Randy, and Robin Welcome into episode one of our podcast.
We decide everybody else has a podcast, we need a
podcast too. We were always saying to ourselves, man, that
would make a great thing to talk about on the
radio or on a podcast or whatever.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Right, And so you're just so funny.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
And so the topic we've chosen today is something that
you found. I actually found a meme on it right
on Facebook.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
It's because you don't like to spend money on bad food,
or really you don't like to try new things because
of your fear of spending money on bad food. And
I like to try new restaurants and new things, but
I feel like I need to go try them first
to kind of vet them for you, to make sure
that they're good so that we don't end up wasting
(01:02):
money on bad food.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
I'm trying to find the meme because.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
It basically says just that, like, there's there's.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Nothing worse than spending money on bad food, which.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Would be your point of view. For me, it's about
the experience, Like I'm okay with spending money on bad
food if we had a good time. Like you know,
like when you go to a sports event, you're gonna
have a good time knowing that the food's going to
be bad. But it's the experience, you know, it's the experience.
We're having a good time and we're trying new things together, right,
(01:40):
But that's never okay. If for Randy, if we spend
money for you, if we spend money on bad.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Food, bad nachos are always bad nachos smart.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Bad tuzzles are always bad puzzles. Okay, I get what
you're saying. But at the same time, if there's if
there reviews are good, I think it's worth trying. I mean,
we have a staple, like maybe five restaurants that that's
that's your go to. I can guess what you had
for lunch today based on your top five choices. So
(02:16):
what are the top three?
Speaker 1 (02:17):
What are my top choices? Then? For restaurants that I
like to go to just on a regular basis, This
is not like this is just to get something to eat.
Move on.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
So the restaurant you go to the very most is
lost pelopis you like their lunch specials and you feel
like you get good quality food for the price, which
is true. I agree. I can only eat so much
of one restaurant, though, like that, or you there's a
type food place that you like to go to. We
actually have two we like to go to, but one
is better priced and you like the food better, and
(02:47):
so you go to that one, and then let's see
another one is Chesters. That's an easy.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Eating there for almost forty years.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Yeah, I would say those are really the top three.
We do have Bill Miller. There's like a certain order
that you get at Bill Miller's that's pretty quality that
you can always stand by.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Well, I mean, and for the most part, I mean,
like Bill Miller's and Chesters, there's always one that's close
to you, so you know it's not going to be
a fail. I mean.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
And you like all the Lost Pe offices except for one.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Don't talk about what one it is. We talk about
lor No, No, my favorite is the one on TPC right.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Well, I also like the new one off.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
Of sixteen oh four two. Yeah, sixteen oh four and
O'Connor that's yeah, that's a good one too.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
I like that the ones in New Brumfls are good too.
That eliminates now.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
And also there's another angle of it too. You just
like going to expensive restaurants.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
No, don't just like it.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
No, No, I'm not saying that food.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Is better typically when the price points a little higher.
But okay, So for my work, I'm not going to
take someone to a bad restaurant. So I've gotten to
have the luxury of eating at some better restaurants because
that's kind of what I you know, part of what
(04:14):
I do for work is you know, we have dinners
or lunches or different things, and I've had the luxury
of maybe increasing my palate.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
But at the same time, you know, there's a cracker
barrel girl still in me, Like I just you know,
I enjoy food as well, but I'm not going to
be upset as you are if the food's Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
I just I hate spending money. And then but if
I spending money on anything, and then it didn't feel
like I wasted my money. I like a good bargain.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
You do, like even if it's a great, top tier restaurant.
But we spend a lot of money, you still have
like regrets, And to me.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
No, I only have regrets when I go, all right,
that was not worth you know, a hundred bucks a person,
I mean, and we don't do that often, trust me.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
No, because we could have lost the office Chester PI.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yeah, but but you gotta you've got to back up
and look at it from a broader perspective. And that's
the perspective. Is we eat out all the time. We
could not afford to eat out all the time. If
we go to it's going to be one hundred bucks person.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
This is true.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Yeah, I mean, we just don't cook much at home.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
We don't. We don't, so I do I should like
maybe take cooking classes together, because again, it's about the experience.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
See, and it's not about the class, it's just about
whether or not we do it.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
No, you want to spend money on taking a class again,
you would see that I think is a waste of money.
And I see that as an opportunity for an experience.
I am all about the moment, the experience, which brings
to another point. I'm a dreamer, you're a doer. If
(06:16):
we had two dreamers, we'd be broke. So therefore you
have to be the practical person in the relationship.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Is there only one dream or so? We're half broke, right,
so completely broke If.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
We were both me yeah, it would be terrible for us.
So there has to be one practical person.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
In the relationship, but it does. The point she's making
is it works. Somebody has to be the practical person,
but somebody to keep us from going off the ledge.
But somebody also has to be the dreamer to push
us to do some things that we might not do.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Yeah, I get you out of your comfort zone. And
I you know, I think there have been some restaurants
suggestions that you've enjoyed that I have. You know, Garcia
Is it's great type AI. You go there for lunch
sometimes without me. Now, I mean there's a few restaurant
choices that I think you like that I've that you
(07:12):
never tried before.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
I don't even think you had gone to Roadhouse before
we met six years ago.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Yeah, I've probably been to Roadhouse, but it wasn't like
a staple.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
You know, you know a place like Roadhouse, you gotta
you gotta make a plan to go there. You gotta
because you got a plan for a forty five minute
or an hour.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Wait, you know, Yeah, you like Olive Garden. That's pretty
common one too.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
It's another well, I like I like restaurants that are
they've got their act together, and those those are that's
a darden restaurant. You know, I think Darden has uh
they have Olive Garden. I think they have maybe out back, Yeah,
red Lobster, and once I'm missing with Longhart Steakhouse.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
M hm.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
They really know how to do restaurants well and consistently.
And I know what I'm getting. I know I'm not
gonna waste any money. I know that. I know that
that family of restaurants, they've got their thing together. They're
not gonna you know, you're gonna feel like he had
your money's worth.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Right. I would say that we rarely eat at any
restaurant at lackin Terra because we know the price points
are high in the foods.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Okay, yeah, I usually eat there on business lunches. That's
what I'm That's exactly right. I can expense it then, Yeah,
so I got my money's worth for sure.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Shoot, that's true.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
So if you had to pick your favorite San Antonio
restaurant you're regardless of price, well, what would it be.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
I mean, I like to go somewhere like Myron's or Perry's.
A good steakhouse, bob, right, any expensive steakhouse is going
to be in my top favorite choices. But I also
like like barbecue restaurants.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
I like.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Blue Pant Barbecue, Harman's Barbecue.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Have I told you my Bob's Steakhouse story? No, before
I got Lasik surgery, I went to Bob's with some
people and I looked at the menu and I thought
the steak said it was thirty nine dollars, which is expensive.
But I thought, yeah, thirty nine bucks, no problem. So
(09:41):
I ordered the steak. But again that's before I got
my lasik surgery, so I didn't see the menu. It
was kind of dark in there, and I imagine and
the steak, and it would be like eighteen dollars, like
eighty nine dollars for a steak.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
Like, I got the bill, I was like, but was
it good? I don't remember. I just remember the price.
So it was it was.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Focused on one thing that you can't enjoy the other.
That's the issue, is you're so focused on one thing
that you can't enjoy the other.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
No, I'm sure it was good.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
But not memorable. Okay. So our favorite restaurant in El.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Paso, Cafe Central, the.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Absolute best food, no matter how much it costs, it
is so good.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Yeah, it is a it's a it's a first class restaurant.
It's been there like one hundred something years. And you know,
if you're gonna go, if you're see and then that's
a time when you're like on vacation, you're out of town.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Well for me it's work.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Well yeah, but we've been there when it will kind
of wasn't work too so and we got to eat there.
But yeah, Cafe Central.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Best restaurant in Pigeonforge. Pigeon Forge, there's two ones actually
in the in the in the amusement park, Dollywood and
the other one is the Old Mill restaurant where you're
gonna get corn fritters and corn chowder just for sitting down.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Yeah, we're getting into redneck we went. We just went
from first class Cafe Central to redneck food.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
It's first class redneck food, so good, and there's nothing
like it in San Antonio.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
It is it is. You go to East Tennessee, ever,
and you go to Pigeon Forge, that's where Dollywood is,
the Old Mill restaurant there, so you know, it's kind
of Southern style cooking, but it's really good.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
It really is, really And do you regret spending money
when we go to that restaurant? No, it's really good.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
No, it depends on how many as on the tab
a get.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
It's always about the money.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
We have a lot of kids. Okay, if we get
all of our kids and all the husbands and wives
then and girlfriends, then then it's you know, there's a
lot of money anyway. The other place you brought up Dollywood, Yes,
you know there's a great Aunt Grannies. Yeah, a place
(12:20):
called Aunt Grannies. Again, it's Southern style food. They serve
a lot of it to good value, but the whole
and that's a whole nother podcast topic that we could
get into is theme parks.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Well, wait a second before we get into that. What
is one of my favorite things to take pictures of you? Yes,
with the mountains of food, because I feel like when
we go and we do adventurous eating or eating out.
You know, it was surprising when we first ate it
An Grannies and just the bulls of food that were
on our table was just wow. So anytime we're in
(12:57):
an eating situation and there's a lot of food on
the table, I just love to capture the moment of
you in piles of food. I don't know why, but
I have a lot of pictures.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Well, we'll have to release those one day for somebody
that I'll probably get a lot of a lot of
traction on social media. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
I remember it was just the two of us the
first time we went, and I don't know, our waiter
was just like really wanting us to try everything, because
it's one of those places like all you can eat,
you pick like five things on the menu and they
just bring you in the smell. But he's like, oh,
why don't you go and try this, or go and
try this, And before you know it, we have a
bowl of like everything on the menu on the table.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
He just kept coming and bringing this crazy.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
It's towards the end of the night or something. I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Anyway, Dollywood, if you if you've never gone to Dollywood
in East Tennessee, and you you probably unless you've been there,
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, Ah, some little
bitty hick park. No, this is a world class theme park.
In fact, survey was just done. Was it Travelocity or
(14:08):
trip Advice trip Advisor?
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Yes, trip Advisor.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Trip Advisor voted them the number one.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Theme park second year in a row, so they got
it in twenty twenty three and again in twenty twenty four.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
So beating the Disney Parks. Yes, And you may be thinking, oh, no, way, no, no,
it is that good? Is really this is a first
class park, has been around a long time, but they're
continuously upgrading it, putting in new rides, got some of
the best roller coaster rides in.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
The country, and best shows, and it's great for families,
like just so much for everyone. There's the shows for
you know, grandma and parents. There's you know, the most
fun shows for kids as well, and just a lot
for everybody in the family. And the food so good,
like what is it beans and greens.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Or ham and beans. This is one of the restaurants.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Every restaurant is so good.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Now.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
You did point out, you know, as we were people watching,
there's not a lot of really skinny people there. But
but it's so good and you do walk it off.
I think, like, you know, you walk it off.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
No, yeah, you get your exercise in the park, that's
for sure. But anyway, that the East Sense is one
of our favorite places to go. And this backup, I'll
give you a little history. When I was thinking about
asking you to marry me, I was trying to pick
a place to do that, and you had always wanted
(15:37):
to go to Dollywood always, And this is twenty twenty,
right in the middle of COVID, and I've ran across
this picture of Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman in Dollywood,
in this specific place in Dollywood with this little uh
heart like heart that's cut out of logs and they
(15:59):
built it in there and you and stand in between
it and take a picture. And Keith and Nicole had
taken a picture there, and I thought, that's where I
want to go. That's where I want to pop the question.
Take her to Dollywood. She's always wanted to go there.
We'll go there, I'll pop the question. Well, COVID messed
that up.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Yeah, it was closed.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
So so we got engaged in June of twenty twenty,
married October twenty twenty, finally went on our honeymoon December
twenty twenty, and we get out there to East Tennessee
and our goal is to make it Dollywood. And there's
questions about whether or not they're going to allow very
many people in.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Right, it was only so many per day, and you
had to like you know, registering it. Yeah, it was
like really complicated, which is why we ended up going
to East Tennessee for our honeymoon. We couldn't go out
of the country or anywhere. I mean, you're really limited
at this time during the pandemic where you could travel.
So Dollywood was, you know.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
So we got this nice cabin up in the Smoky Mountains.
Day we decided, look, we've gone online. They say we
can't get in. Let's just drive down to the park
and just see if they'll us. And sure enough we go.
They said, oh yeah, it's a we're open. You can
get in. And we go and buy a ticket and
we go to doll We went to Dollywood and it
(17:15):
was so awesome and we went to that place and
we got our picture taken and I think we went
back the next day.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
We did two days in a row. Yet, well, you
really can't do it all in one day. You really
need a couple of days at least to do it
all if you're going to see the shows and ride
all the rides and take in, you know, the the
spectacular laser show at night, and in that.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
Part of the country, there with with all that Dolly
has done for that part of the country, it's not
just Dollywood so much. You've got you know, the little
towns of Severeville, Pigeon Forge. Gatlinburg is its own deal there.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
That was a fun story. Gatlinburg. Yeah, well we like
gallenbur Okay, there's a fun little thing that we did
it on our honeymoon. We're you know, they it's mostly
Dry counties. I don't know if they've they've done some
things recently, but at that time, especially Dry County. So
and we're not big heavy drinkers, but you know, we'll
(18:17):
have fun. So we went to this moonshine place and
it's like, you know those little cups that you get
for communion. I hate to compare it to that, but
it is what it is. They line up like ten
of them in front of you, and there's a really
funny guy in the middle. It's a circular type table
and you're doing all these like moonshine tasting shots. Yeah,
they go from like a hundred proof to whatever. So
(18:40):
we're like doing all the moonshine tasting we go from
the one hundred proof to the banana pudding and you know,
all the different flavors and it's so much fun. We
were having a hoot.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
Yeah, it's funny and it costs like five or ten bucks.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
So and then after that we're like, yeah, well we
need to walk this off for a while. So we're
just like walking. And then you had some friends that
recommended a restaurant, and.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
Friends Mike and Rock Sand said the Park Grill and
Gatlinburg is really good. So we go into the Park
Grill and we go to the hostess and say, hey,
a needy place for two. And they go over and
they see this and Robin, who never recognized she don't anyone.
We sit down and.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
She goes a facial problem I do not recognize.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
She leans over to me and he goes. Guy at
the table next of us looks like your friend Aaron Tipp,
and the singer looking sure enough is Aaron Tipping, and
the whole family, the whole family there there in Gatlinburg
for Christmas, and so that so.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
I'm pretty giddy too. I mean, we just did ten
communion shots of moonshine.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
So I turn around and say hey man, and Aaron,
of course, in his inimitable way, says, hey, pal, it
was wonderful. We had a great time just sitting next
to them. Of course, then when we they left ahead
of us, and then we get ready to pay our check,
Aaron Tippin had paid for our dinner.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
Yes, that was wonderful. That was just super yeah, very sweet.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Nice of he and his wife thea to do that.
So anyway, that's that's our Gatlin worst rambling.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
On around food though. It was also a great meal.
And I have thought if we go back to the Gatlinburger,
that's a restaurant that I know you enjoyed and I
enjoyed it. We go back to the park, there's a
restaurant I know you enjoy and feel like it's worth
the money. I keep that in my memory bank so
that we can go back.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
Remind you planning of going going to Eastennessee. Gatlinburg. There's
a thing called the Skybridge there where you you take
a one of those chair lifts like a ski deal
up to the top of the mountain and then it
is skybridge. It goes across this ravine.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Beauty.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
It's got a big glass bottom on the skybridge, so scary.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
Yeah, it's so beautiful. We've done it in the summertime.
Now we've done it in the wintertime. It's just beautiful views.
Totally worth it. And we haven't done Anaquista. That's another
resort that they have at Gatlinburg. We haven't tried that.
I mean, there's so much we still have not tried.
And that's why I keep wanting to go back to
East Tennessee. And my kids are like, Mom, go somewhere new,
(21:19):
Like there's a lot of places you haven't meant to,
And I'm like, but there's a lot of things I
still haven't done in one of my favorite places where
I know the food is good.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
It's speaking of food, if you like pancakes, Oh yeah,
that area between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge has more pancake
places for square mile than any place I've ever been
in my life. And that's one of our jokes all
the time. It's like, man, I wish I could which
we could find a place for pancakes.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
You're really hungry for pancakes.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
They have a lot of pancakes in the East Tennessee.
So Gatlinburg, Pigeon Ford, Severeville, that whole area that's special
to us for a lot of reasons, not the least
of which is that's where we spent our honeymoon.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
It is, yes, and I've loved enjoying that area with
all my kids and family members that want to be
with us and enjoy some of the stuff that we
also enjoy. And I think they've enjoyed it as well.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
You know when we were there for our honeymoon that
we went on Christmas week, Christmas was going to be
on Saturday.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
Right, yes, Friday, Saturday, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
It's Saturday anyway. So I booked a cabin and we
were going to stay in the cabin that week and
then we'll fly back Friday night, Christmas Eve, so we'll
be home for Christmas. Well, is we're there up there
in the mountains of Smokey's. It's beautiful in this cabin,
and we find watching the weather, find out that Christmas
(22:47):
Eve fig snowstorms coming in and we love. Yeah. We
see if we can change our flights to, you know,
to Christmas Day, Yeah, you know that evening, and then
we can have our first Chrystals will be a white Christmas.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Yeah, And you found this perfect little airbnb. It was
up on a hill.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
Well, well back up. First of all, we can't stay
in the cabin.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Oh that's right. Yeah, they wouldn't let us say.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Yeah, So I found this airbnb and this beautiful house
that had is like a ten thousand square foot house
and had each room had it was like its own suite. Yes,
you know, it had its own separate bath and whirlpool
tub and fireplace and all that.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
So well it also had outside a beautiful gazebo with
the hot tub. And so we're like, oh, we need
to stop and get you a swimsuit to get into
this hot tub.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
So we stopped in Pigeon Forge, the Marshals at the
Marshals and I bought a swimsuit so I could get
in the hot tub. We get up to the airbnb.
So as we're walking out of the Marshals, it starts
to snow and it's heavy, heavy, wet snow, and so
we we get we get over to the place and
(24:09):
we get in there a nice couple.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
She's done a little. It's Christmas Eve, so she's done
a little a few little or derves and things and
you know, yeah, hot cocoa or cider or whatever. And
it's like, okay, We're there for like thirty minutes and boom.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
The power goes out. The power goes out because of
that heavy wet snow, knocking tree limbs down and and
power lines.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
And it's cold, and I'm thinking, usually when power goes out,
it comes back on like pretty quick, right like here.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
So we're not going to get to go outside and
be in the hot tub in the snow now that
that deal is gone. And the suite that we have
in the airbnb, you know, we're using candles so we
can see and our phones for light while they asked,
and they do have a gas fireplace in there, but
it's on a thirty minute timer for a little bit.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
Though we first said, okay, let's just go to sleep.
Oh but luckily, I remember this. Luckily I had got
some chacuterie snacks and stuff at the grocery store because
you know, we knew we weren't going to a hotel
with the restaurant. We had no idea that power it
was going to go out. But we did get a
bottle of wine and some chacuterery snacks, some snacks to
snack on, you know, while we were going to be
in our airbnb. And so luckily we had that, and
(25:29):
so we made it like a little you know, place
in front of the fireplace to like have some wine
and our snacks and all that. And then we're like, well,
let's just make a palette on the floor and like sleep,
so we could like maybe turn it back on every
thirty minutes. But that dealed it long. So then we
decided the best way to stay warm would be get
(25:50):
in the bed and just cuddle snuggle up. The lip
power never came back on. We get up the next day,
you still know.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
Poun and there was no breakfast at our air fans.
They were supposed to fix you this big, fancy breakfast.
We didn't get it anyway, but it made a memorable
honeymoon story. We got in our rental car and creeped
our way back down the ice and snow covers, and
I made that video.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
I made it. I was taking video of just the
beauty of the ice and the snow as we traveled
down that windy road, scared to death because you know,
I don't know how well my husband drives in the snow,
so it's like, I don't know if this car is
equipped for snow driving and ice driving. But I still
was taking video, and I put that in a few
of our like happy anniversary reels or whatever, because the
(26:37):
views were just incredible and it was very memorable, and
we did make it to the airport to catch our flight, and.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
We did get home, and we did get home the
next year. We didn't get home.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
The next year the next time we went. If it
was the next.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Year, I think it was the next year. That was
when when the Southwest Airlines had their meltdown.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
I think it was two years after that. Okay, Yeah,
the next year we had a big family Christmas at home.
But then the year after that, okay, we did it again,
and then yeah, we are flights got Southwestralians had their
big meltdown. We weren't gonna get home. I couldn't get
through to anybody, so online I just paid for a
(27:21):
ticket to get us to Austin, and my son, who
is a student at Texas State, came and picked us
up at the Austin airport and then took us to
the San Antonio Airport to get our truck. Yeah, it's always.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Something that we go to East Tennessee. We've always got
a story to tell, yeah, and an adventure, that's for sure.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Anyway, so anyway, we got lots to talk about. I'm
sure we'll talk about more on the Randy and Robin
podcast as we go along. Anyway, that's episode one. You
can say you were here for it if you lasted
through it. Yeah, I'd lasted if you didn't last through it.
We get it, well, understand you know. It probably takes
a person to tolerate thirty minutes of us. But anyway,
(28:03):
thank you, thank you for listening.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Thanks everyone,
