Speaker 1 (00:00):
Creativity is an addiction, unplugged because we will always say
yes to creativity, totally uncut because we all make mistakes.
So let's turn it into a tool. This is arrow
unplugged stream thinking learning how to trust what's in your
present place of right now. To get there requires practice.
Here's what I do every day, one sheet of paper,
just ten minutes, write about whatever is moving through your

(00:22):
presence of right now, with absolutely no judgment. Stream thinking
sharpens your skills as a listener, as a communicator, and
as an activator. Yep, there's going to be some work here,
but I'll tell you what. In the end, You're going
to feel so much better about your present place of
right now because that's what we're trying to do. We're
trying to learn about right now. This is stream thinking. Today.

(00:44):
We're reading from June eleven, twenty twenty four, from Andrew
Jackson State Park. My wife and I are such the opposites.
She can finish a brand new book in three days
this while I'm handwriting several different pages for my podcast,
use to be read a little bit later on. I'm
a writer, she's a reader. I mean, I really so
much on her experiences as a reader. I'm all about

(01:07):
reality and the moment of everything right now. My reading
is connected to research and other studies, which in a
way is very mysterious as well. I choose to write
about it because I'm a podcaster, not because I'm part
of that book club for men readers versus writers. That
has always been one of my biggest challenges, because when

(01:27):
I go to the schools and I talk with young
adults about learning how to become a storyteller, one of
the things that always comes up, well, they don't read. Well,
if you don't read, you probably don't write. But you
can be a writer and not read. It's not that
I don't read. What I do is I choose what
I want to read and I don't follow what others
are reading. But writing does begin inside those books of

(01:51):
other authors. Every single one of them that I've spent
some time with have said this is my favorite author.
I was inspired by this author. This author writ here
led me down my way. So if you're one who
does enjoy writing, it can be music, it can be movies,
it can be videos. Writing requires inspiration and influence. You

(02:11):
don't have to go to a murder mystery in order
to be a great writer. There is so much writing
available to you. Just begin a journey of reading and
writing together. I'm ERL and that's stream thinking.
