Solstice to Santa from the Orca Origin Series is a
book by Nicky Tate and Danny Tate Straiton, an exploration
of Christmas from a mother and daughter writing team. The
beginning of the book looks at Christmas origins as a
non Christian early midwinter celebration. There's the introduction, of course,
of Jesus' birth and the spread of Christianity throughout the world. Ultimately,

as it's celebrated today around the world, from Asia to Africa,
Central America to the Northeast. This is an educational and
entertaining book, certainly for young people, but for anyone who
enjoys the holiday and wants to know the true history
