Hello, this is Jordan Rich with your WBZ book Club.
I recently heard from an old friend of mine, Michael J. Baker,
who was often a guest in my program in the
late nights here on WBZ. The subject was ghost hunting
and paranormal investigation. Mike spent a lot of years doing it,
but he had an epiphany and came to a conclusion
that it was time to stop, and he's written about
it in a memoir called giving Up the Ghost, My

decided ultimately that so much of these search for the
supernatural is just being produced for ratings and entertainment purposes.
Mike points out the faults, the phoniness, and the misconceptions
when it comes to TV ghost hunters and the so
called equipment they use to prove their point. There are
still unexplained experiences that Mike writes about, and he leaves
