Welcome to the WVZ book Club. This is Jordan Rich.
I'm always on the hunt for books and books series
that are destined to become TV shows or movies, and often,
as we know, the book is better than the movie.
But here's one to get excited about it. If you're
a fan of the Lars Kepler series of Yunah Lenna novels,
then I've got some news for you. Kepler, by the way,
(00:20):
is a pseudonym for a husband and wife team who
began their series in two thousand and nine with a
book called The Hypnotist. Apple and A and E Studios
are producing and they are going to americanize the setting,
placing the renamed detective now Jonah Lynn in Pennsylvania. And
the star of the series is certainly a dependable one,
Leave Schreiber, and they've cast a terrific one to play
(00:41):
the serial killer that Jonah must pursue, Stephen Graham, British
actor extraordinaire. Looking forward to the series that's being developed.
