Welcome to the WBZ book Club. I'm Jordan Rich. Boston
is a sports town, particularly a Celtics sports town. So
here's a book that includes many Celtics superstars, called The
Basketball one Hundred by David Aldridge, John Hollinger and the
athletic NBA staff. It's a look at the top one
hundred basketball players of all time, and as was the
case in The Football one Hundred, the players are ranked

in descending order, ranging from Michael Jordan to Larry Bird,
Magic Johnson to Kareem abdul Jabbar and ninety six other
amazing players. What's fun about a list like this and
a book like this is the arguments you can have
over the dinner table with other avid basketball fans. There
are some additional essays about the game itself, with a
