This is Jordan Rich with a WBZ book club. For
many of us, there's nothing more interesting and exciting than
true crime stories and the clever ones, many of them
lay people who managed to get to the bottom of
cold cases. Well, there's a book I want to recommend
by Chuck Hogan. It's called The Carpool Detectives, a true
story of four moms, two bodies, and one mysterious cold case.

The Carpool Detectives is but a group of moms who
during the pandemic, found themselves searching for new meaning in life.
And they met up and discovered they shared an interest
in true crime, while they found one to tackle a
double homicide that took place in their hometown more than
ten years earlier, a case that involved family intrigue, millions
of dollars unaccounted for, with the victims' bodies discovered in

their car at the bottom of a steep ravine in California.
This story tells us of the hard work, the many letdowns,
and the fortitude and tenacity of these women who actually
took risks in trying to solve a double murder. The
