This is the WZ Book Club. I'm Jordan Rich And
when you think about it, money is not only the
root of all evil, but it's the subject of a
ton of angst and it propels the human condition, oftentimes
in negative ways. So the book I want to talk
about is The Psychology of Money, subtitled Timeless Lessons on Wealth,
Greed and Happiness. The author Morgan Housel. The basic premises
that in business school, when someone's learning about money, it's

about formulas and equations and figures, basically hard data. But
when humans get involved with money, financial decisions often go
in a different direction. The book features several short stories
about people who think rather uniquely about money, and it's
the effort of the author, Morganhausel, to teach us all
how to use and care for money more wisely, which
in turn leads to self fulfillment and more happiness. Happiness.
