a hotel or something last night, except for last year.
Last year I got one flight because Tom couldn't go.

So every other time I have had to fight for
my life to get in there. Yes, this time it
felt different to actually be invited. And I had somebody
tell me my travel plans and where I was going,

I was like, wow. So it was great being being
invited and feeling.

had a really nice hotel where you one of them

one with its own lobby and bar. At the lobby

dipped down into a nice seating area. They had an
outside party. We came back from the BT room and
it was a party going on outside right in the hotel. Yeah,
it's beautiful. We was outside people was I mean, it
was a good time. I got to I'm sorry everybody.
I didn't get to hang with everybody that I wanted
to bet shot one of my best friends, Tiam. I

ain't get a chance to get up with him. Just
just didn't have the time. But you know, I love you, brother.
You know I'm always gonna go out there. A few
of my friends were in town from like you know,
they're from out of town, but they were working. Like
thence you know what I'm saying, he writes on the
Miss Pat Show or whatever. I was supposed to link
with him. Didn't get a chance. You know, we were
we were working a lot. You were everywhere though, But

I still got a chance to get out a little bit.

went in there.

This is a nice hotel. I called. Before I even
I called the front desk. I said, it's this alcohol
that's on the bar. Is it free? I said, I

I said, is he free? She said no.

The menu is right there and until you how much
it is. And I looked at the men. I said,
oh okay. I said, okay, the alcohol not free. I
expect to pay for that. I said, what about the
water inside?

None of this is free. Don't worry about it. Okay,
all right, I'm talking to you. And that's what I did.
Walk my happy ass down to CBS. Got me some

of my own because I know I can spend my
sixty dollars and how far that is gone? Yes, because

that's two drinks at the bar downstairs, and what they
was charging up there. I was like, no, ton saw
my juice. He was like, bro, you got you brought
your own.

it still feels good and it's still so real to
be even like in that media fraternity, it is you
in there with people that you literally listen to or
cool and like it's still in my head still hard

for me to even realize, like me and Angie Martinez
is cool.

That's wild to me that I could be in Angie, Like, hey,

you got Angela.

know what I mean, it's just your names goed d D, Gary,
it's just all of these different names and that Ferrari
like all of these you know, it's just it's it's
it's sane, you know, just to think about it. But

Our little podcast that grew up got out to the
first it was just me. Then it was me and
Keyky and just to watch. Keky came to help me,
help me as assist me as a camera person and
media person really and now it's invited as a talent.

I watched Zach to come in.

Zach was like Zach was weekends from Nashville to watch
him go growing from nights for weekends to nights the
mornings now and they get invited to Then people were
coming up and was talking like Yo, what's up with y'all?
And I was watching, I'm watching how people reacting to y'all,
Like I'm like, oh, they really rock with my with
my people. And it's the thing about the podcast is

I guess the part of the podcast part it made
me feel really good is that it was getting credit
from the people in our fraternity. Right, so you're getting
like with as sitting it's a hall of fame personality.

I come up and say, hey, man, y'all, y'all podcasts lit,
our bosses, you know, Doc dip, y'all podcast nice, and
they saying stuff about it, and I know that that
means something like people were starting like yo, I heard
you got a day, or they were like where Keith
Key and zach at or what. It was just it
was such a surreal moment, man, just to see how

tone of shag thing when they when the radio say

and then podcast and just seeing like hearing people really

And we interviewed her and when the interview rapped, she
was like she got up and she was like, y'all

Like the podcasting and now y'all doing the like she
had she like put it together her man, like y'all
did the podcast, and now y'all doing.

Like that, especially Toyat Lucky was a big win in
Kirk Franklin said he was like, I've seen y'all before,
I've seen y'all show. He's seen the clips, I said
Kirk Franklin, frank God, watch.

The thing of it is because I know angel and
I think was probably like, I mean, we got a
lot bag we got. I mean pretty much everybody on
on the radio side was giving us love, but I was,
and I'm cool with Angela, but just for her, I
know she's normally quiet. She's like, hey, Tom, we'll chop
it up a little bit. We have a conversation. We
got good repport. But she made it her point to

be like, yo, y'all podcast lit. Yeah, And that meant
a lot to me. That's the Hall of Fame personality
that made that. That meant a lot. She like stopped
in the middle of kind of you know, I ain't
gonna lie that thing lit. So I appreciate that for sure.

And that's five years.

That's five years of work, consistency, investment on all of
our ends. This is completely funded by us, this is
produced by us. This is that's five years of work.

see it, you know, the results, But that don't happen
when you're not consistent. It don't happen when you don't
put on the work and the effort. So for people

thinking we just got this overnight type of thing. That's
not the case.

So Usually, like Tom said, we go to bt W
was I'm his camera woman, so that I go and
make him look great and we knock it out and
kill it. This time because he had turned me up

So I was on the other side of the room.
I'm working like he's working right.

So tall don't have no camera man now with him, right,
ain't nobody else want to buy in and send themselves?

I would have been like, he keep going with it,
I'm going and I would have but y'all a hustle,
y'all getting on anyway, So he had no camera man,
So you know, we over here in the shade room,
knocking down all these interviews. But the moment we had
Zach would be like, I gotta go to the bathroom.
Me I hold it all day. So he would leave.
When he would leave to go to the bathroom, I said,
let me go over here and check on Tall.

I walked over there and checked on Toll. I ain't
never seen Tall sweating. Toll was sweating. His camera was crooked.

We gotta go drop our equipment off and then we're
gonna come back down and go get something to eat.
So we drop our stuff off. Everybody get ready to

they always put me in the back because I'm little,

and that's how she go. So they pulled the kick.
He pulled the seatback from me. Kick, He pulled the
seatback from me to get in. So I get in
and I'm in, Okay, then get in gip you here
her dough Tone is actually sitting in the front seat with.

The uber drive. I don't know what the hell he
was talking about. What I said, I said, come on,

didn't care. He was like, he that think is funny.

The lady that the driver is terrified because she's scared.

So we get on the right. We finally get to
the restaurant. It's a lot of traffic, y'all. It's traffic.
L A has a ton of traffic. We get out.
We say, man, let's just go. We at the restaurant
now tone before we get there. You know what I'm saying,
Being at tone is the betteran And he goes to
l a all the time, he pointing at everything, telling
us about everything like a tour guy.

the steps in the front doors at the top of
these steps. So we going up the steps. Tone ain't

middle and I'm holding down the rear and were walking
up the steps. Now they were kind of steek, okay,
And I looked at ki Key the first I was
worried about Kiki for the first round of steps because
they were steeve, and I said, let me see. I

she almost got ran over. I know she hungry. We
ain't ate nothing all day. She had a little discombobulated.
But then we get to the second round of steps. Y'all,
it couldn't have been no more than seven steps. You
