You're not off to a bad startas well. Here two goals and
assists on the season so far.But aside from the little bit of a
hiccup in Fort Wayne over the weekend, it seems like you guys are clicking
right out of the gate here.So just give us your overall perspective on
the season so far. Oh no, Like, all the guys are really
(00:43):
good. We have a good chemistryoff the bat, like practice are of
fun. It's just all the guyshaving fun. Like a group of guys
I've been fun together and especially likewe talked to you about that on the
Power Hour last night. You goon the road for a couple of games
at the start of the season, like just bring good chemistry off the bats.
(01:04):
So it's it's good, absolutely, and just having that good overall play
away from West Banko Arena so earlyon in the season. It's just a
good thing to see right now.No exactly, like two wins, one
loss against Fort Wayne, but no, we're good. We we uh did
video today and like we'll be readyfor this weekend. We're excited. So
(01:26):
you've been around here. This isyour third season here in Wheeling, and
for a stretch of time last yearyou were able to play with your brother
Cedric before he got called up toWilkesbury about mid season. So just over
overview the experience of play with yourbrother for a little bit last year.
Oh, it was awesome. It'sjust it was kind of unreal, like
(01:46):
playing pro with your brother, Likeit's such a nice experience. We were
living together too, so like,uh, it's it's so fun. Like
during the season, like we normallyjust so we're sold out, we don't
we talk, but like we wehave games every day every other night,
so like we don't talk as much. But like it was just so fun,
(02:08):
like just to be around him aroundthe rink and see like what he
does and it's just it's fun.Absolutely. So the road games right out
of the way right here, youfinally get some time at home for the
next few games here of course, starting with this weekend with two games against
Redding Saturday at seven tens, Sundayat four tens. So just get just
(02:29):
give us your perspective of Opening Weekendas a whole, just what all goes
through your mind, the the emotionsthat you feel, and just your experience
here in Wheeling with Opening Night overthe years. Oh, it's it's there's
nothing like Opening Night, Like alldefense are gonna be there, buildings going
to be back. It's just alot of emotion, like it's it's you
(02:53):
feel the love from the fence. They've been waiting for this all summer like
we've been waiting for for it alsoor two like Opening Night, it's just
like I don't know, I'll explainit. It's just a lot of emotion,
buildings so loud, and you wantto win, like you want to
win one hundred percent. So thenit's just it's gonna be fun. All
(03:14):
the boys are excited for it,especially like the first years player, they're
excited for it to for it too. Absolutely, And you mentioned the emotional
aspect of opening night and opening weekend, the fact that you get to open
up the home portion of the scheduleat least with one of the biggest rivals,
the Redding Royals. That just addsa little bit more to a little
(03:36):
to it. Yeah, for sure. We you know, every game against
Reading is a battle, so forsure it's going to be an exciting night
for Defense too. So a lotof exciting stuff throughout the weekend here for
the fans, because of course youhave Mad Chad, a chainsaw juggler,
doing his thing during the first theirmission. Can you even juggle? Period?
I cannot, I cannot. Wewe talked about it on the Power
(04:00):
Hour last night, like I cannotjuggle at Bobby. Bobby Empton was with
me and he said, like hecould juggle with like three tennis balls.
But like the site said, that'sthat's scary, Like you ain't got to
tell me twice, I can't juggleperiod, let alone juggle exactly, Like
it's it's heavy, right exactly,it's kind of scary, Like I I
(04:23):

here, including a postgame skate withthe team with the odd number players,
so you have a chance to skatewith Felix if you go and bring your
own skates skating around, so kindof kind of go through the experience with
(04:46):
the post game skate and what it'slike to get up cloaks and personal with
the fans there. Oh, it'sso nice, Like it's I mean,
we we get like we're excited forit too, you know, like I
know it's exciting for defense, butalso for us to like talk with people
