But there are a lot of tripsbeing planned because of course, Worcester
County incorporates the beautiful Ocean City andAssetaque Island National Seashore. But I'm getting
ahead of myself, so let's justdive right in. Brand I'm going to
give the floor to you. Let'sjust talk Worcester County. Yeah, so,
Maryland's Coast is actually Worcester County,which is placed right on the Atlantic
Ocean, the east coast of thestate of Maryland. We actually touch the

state of Delaware and Virginia. Ourcounty itself makes up was Ocean City,
as well as some small towns includingSnowhill, Pocomoke, Berlin, Ocean Pines
is while giving people a little bitof everything here on the coast line.
Absolutely, and it's such a fanpastic area all of Worcester County because it
really has a little something for everybody. That premiere beach access in Ocean City

and Assateague. I have been theremany and times myself, and I know
it's a very busy time of yearin those two areas in particular, So
why don't you tell us why peoplelove visiting year after year? Yep.
Ascetic Island is actually known for itswild tonies. There is quite a few
actually here in the area of WorcesterCounty. I'm thinking around seventy to eighty
horses are on the island at onetime, and here in the park at

Ascetic Island, it also is openfor biking, camping, boating, and
fishing. Lots of options to doas well as check out the beach.
Ponies can walk right up to you, so it's advised if you kind of
keep your distance as far away aspossible, just because they are out on
their natural environment. But it isquite the beautiful scene to see. Ocean
City has ten miles of beach andis actually known for its famous boardwalks,

So if you're looking for some familyentertainment as well as in shopping, you
could check out Thrash or Sprench Friesor even grab some fault water taffy and
Ocean City and we're going to stickwith the ocean theme here. Brianna.
Ocean City has quite truly evolved intoone of the most prolific fishing industries in
the entire world. You gotta tellus all about that. Yeah, yeah,
So the White Marlin Open actually justfinished up, but it celebrated it

fifty year anniversary and it's actually quiteexciting being the fiftieth year a blue Marlin
one for its category and it wasactually over six hundred and forty pounds.
I was like, my goodness,yeah yeah, so it was very exciting
event here. It's held annually inAugust. A lot of fishermen come in

to participate, so the cash looactually gets to quite the number, so
it's always exciting to see people comein and try to compete for that.
And then in October, the localWreck and Parks Department in Worcester County is
going to be holding Harbor Day atthe Docks. It's a special maritime culture
heritage events celebrating the commercial fishermen herein the area and what they do get

gay in day out. So thatevent is going to be held on October
fourteenth in West Ocean City. Andthen when you have the ocean and all
the fun stuff happening, you alsohave different tributories with the Pokemoke River,
so connecting from the Chesapeake Bay,there is the Pokemoke River Scenic Wildlife where
you can actually canoe and kayak,fish and do as you please on the

river as well. Yeah, there'sso much going on over there in Worcester

talked a lot about the ocean andif you're not a water person, Worcester
County does offer a host of otheractivities, lots of things to do for
the whole family. So what doyou think are some of the most popular
things to do in Worcester County Brianna, Yeah, so it is a family

destination for sure. So if you'relooking for some things to do with your
kids, of course you have thebeach, complain in the sand, and
crash crash out in the waist.But we also have museums filled with local
history, including Furnacetown Historic Site whichis in snow Hill, of a discovery
museum which is located in Pokemoke,in a new museum called the Mermaid Museum,

and it is in Berlin. YesmaidMuseum, tell me more, Yeah,
yes, yeah, So inside theowner actually has some mermaid artifacts talking
about maybe some history with mermaids.And then there's like some photoprop areas as
well, So if you're looking tolearn more about mermaids, you could check

that out in downtown Berlin. Butwith our towns, we also have tons
of downtown shopping options as well aseatery. Throughout Pokemoke there's actually a riverside
restaurant called dock Side, and snowHill has restaurants that are close distanced to
check out the river in Berlin,lots to do, lots to check out.
And before I let you go,we did touch a little bit on

some of those big events surrounding theocean, in surrounding the fishing industry,
of course, but I know thatyou guys have so many different events going
on throughout the entire year. Sowhat do you think are some of Worcester
County's bi guest events that visitors liketo check out when they come to visit,
or they could even plan a visitaround. Yep. So this fall
between September October all the way intothe holidays, there's going to be events

all over the place, and someexciting ones I wanted to point out is
the County Fair. It's going tobe happening in snow Hill at Bird Park
September fifteenth through the seventeenth. That'sgoing to give families option to check out
some four eight animals, some craftsthat were entered into the show, as
well as live entertainment and vendors.And then, as I mentioned a little

bit earlier, Harbor Day at theDocks is that maritime culture event. It's
a free event, open to thecommunity, really trying to celebrate our commercial
fishermen. So that's going to beheld October fourteenth at the only commercial harbor
working harbor, I should say herein this state. And from there as
we go into the rest of October, there's going to be the Cruiser Event.

So if you're looking to see someclassic cards depend some shows, yes,
yep, both Berlin and Ocean Citywill be holding classic car shows.
A brand new event that's exciting thatwe're really excited to see how it plays
out and how people come visit isthe Ocean City RB Show that's going to
be how Old October twelfth through thefifteenth at the Ocean City Convention Center.

They're going to have some RBS ondisplay as well as some different vendors.
Smith you're looking for how to maybetransform your van into a camper, They're
going to have some different vendors doingsome demos, drones, things of that
nature. So we're excited to welcomeall of our outdoor adventures. Yeah,
and truly something for everybody over inWorcester County between the events and all of
