Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning, mister Wheatrow. How's it hanging like me and Ben.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Guys? Uh, very surprising this morning. I'm fantastic as usual. Uh,
you're right.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
The big days tomorrow, it's Liberation Day. I've been collecting
and fatty and everything. I'm all excited. So we're gonna
see what's gonna happen here. And I guess we're expecting
President Trump to possibly make us speak to the speech
this afternoon to give us some insight of what's gonna happen,
I think, and I think that would cool everyone down
if he explains, you know, the good things he's done,
(00:34):
as well as you know what the tariffs are gonna
do and if we're gonna feel more pain or where
we're gonna be. Man, Well, I hope so.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
You know that that would be nice, wouldn't it all? Well,
then you guys are doing great. I will say, like
I said, I'm a little surprised this morning.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Uh, I didn't have any heads.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Up, so I'm kind of going, oh, hey, it's be
on the radio.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
So but yeah, it's nice to hear your backgrounds too.
And Earl, thank you You've done a lot for all
of us. It's been fantastic here in your background as well.
But you know, if we look at the market, you know,
carefs are leading the way. But again, let me let
(01:18):
me put it this way. At Goldman Sachs are expecting
Trump's to announce fifteen percent reciprocal tariffs. Now we've heard
twenty five, We've heard large amounts. But I love this.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
I've heard this several times in the radio. I've read
articles about it.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
But Goldman Sachs saying, now they see the economy to.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Slow down, and all I keep hearing about is recession.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
And they said, there's a thirty five percent that you know,
we could go into recession because of this. Why don't
we look at the other way around, Why.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Don't we take a sixty five percent chance that we're
not going to go to a recession.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
I like that number better. Oh yeah, you know, let's
look at the.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Positive side of things that hey, this.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Might work out. But again, I'm going to hear you know,
I want to listen today if the President comes out
to see, you know, to give a better.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Give a good explanation of.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
What's going on. By early were and Ben, we're also
at the end of the first quarter, so we're gonna
have earnings coming out in a couple of weeks, so
we're gonna see what this first quarter did. And as
we know, it's been a rocky march.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
Very rocky.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
But if I bring you up to date, let's look
at the indisses. The DALL was up, actually it went
down in the beginning yesterday, but rebounded four hundred and
seventeen points, which is one percent.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
S and P five hundred ended.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Up almost thirty one points, which is.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
A little over a half percent.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
But the NASAK, which is full of tech, was down
twenty three almost twenty four points, which is point one four.
And I will bring you up to date, guys that
year to date, first three months of the year, the
DALL was negative one point two to eight. The S
and P five hundred is negative four point five to
nine year to date, and the NAZAKA is off ten
(02:54):
point four to two year to date. And that's where
we stand for the first quarter. Well, I'm and and
who's the winners in usersh winners and losers. It's quite
it's like flipping the switch from yesterday. We have Discovery
UH Financial was up seven point five to three. We
have Box was up three point four to two. Capital
(03:15):
one rebounded at three point three three four Motors was
up three point one three dollars. Tree rebounded to three
point one nine.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
But I saw Newsmax.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
They came out. Let me get this, Sprint newsback came out,
issued their stock. He came out yesterday. He started around
ten dollars, opened at fourteen, ended the day at eighty
three dollars and fifty one cents. Now sit down on
this one seven and thirty five percent up in a day. Wow, yeah,
(03:47):
that's that's amazing. But again, the U four have a
new stock coming out, like Newsmax. You know, I'm not
sure they can keep that going. But again, a lot
of that could be, you know, through emotions, pre market activity.
It's pointing up, and if we look at the overall markets,
let me get to the pre market here, el ben Uh,
(04:08):
right now, our futures are pointing down a little bit.
But again we're.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Gonna have a it's gonna be a different day to day.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
And tomorrow seeing what happens with the tariffs.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Oh wow, wow, Well no phone, no phone calls today.
Speaker 1 (04:24):

that's that's gonna be great, and I'm sure there's a
lot to learn in there, guys, So I hope you
do well. And I will say, you know, if anybody
wants to get ahold of us, we're at you know,
you reach us at four one nine eight two four
