Speaker 1 (00:00):
How are you, mister Wheetro.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Bred.

Speaker 3 (00:03):
It's Monday.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
I'm great.

Speaker 4 (00:05):
We had we had a good weekend, even with a
little bit of rain. Thanks for coming to the Toledo
Buffalo Soldier Anniversary party, and thank you for sponsoring one
of our five thousand dollars scholarships. The person who won
your scholarship seemed to be pretty pleased that they're going
to be able to continue their higher education.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
That's awesome. I love that part of it.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
So honor to help Bred.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
And it looked like we had a good day on Friday,
actually a good week. The winning week ended with some
more records for US stocks, and we got some good
news yesterday on the EU and the US. So let's
take a look at what happened on Friday. We'll start there.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yeah, it sounds like the Trump administrations make some good deals,
you know, whereas we're moving forward on trade, which is
good stuff. But Friday went into the day, the DAD
was up two hundred and eight points, which is almost
a half percent, s a P five hundred, up twenty
five points, which is point four zero percent, and the
Nazak cut fifty points, which is a quarter of a percent.
So we've been up and down a lot. Let's look

(01:08):
at the five day. The Dow is up for the
week one point twenty six s and p for the
week one point four to six and a little over
one percent for the NASDAC. So I like those kind
of weeks. It's a strong week. We didn't end with
a negative so and headed into this week, the futures
are pointing up. But let's take a look at what's
coming out on the on the calendar that we're gonna

(01:30):
see today, we.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Don't have it.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
We do not have any economic news coming out. But
tomorrow the Fed is gonna get to getting to start meeting.
But we have consumer confidence coming out. We're gonna have
job openings coming out tomorrow. Wednesday, we're gonna.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Hear from the Fed.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Are they gonna cut rates or aren't they gonna cut rates?
We're still thinking they're gonna wait until September. But we
also get the GDP for the second quarter coming out,
and then we get the PCE on Thursday after the
Fed makes the decision favorite measurement of inflation. So big
week on economic news. So that's kind of where we're

(02:06):
at we are looking for. We're coming off a very
good week.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
And what's the thought.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Are most people, our most investors and experts thinking that
it won't be until September until that rate drops again.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
They are, but as you know, President Trump's putting a
lot of pressure on them to cut rates to you know,
because we have minds and things that are coming up
that it's going to keep our interest rates down if
he cuts it.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
So everyone's thinking.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
It will go till September or he cuts rates, but
it wouldn't surprise me if.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
He did it. Okay, all right, well we'll keep that
one in mind.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Now, Friday, we had some winners and some losers. Of course,
every day is that, which is why you let somebody
else handle your money because you can keep track of
all of this stuff. What did we look like on
Friday with winners and losers?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Yeah, we had Deckers the company makes us and Hokah.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Shoes which are very nice for running. It was up
eleven point three percent. That's good. Edward Life Science rose
five point five. We have Numont up six point eighty nine.
On the down side, we have also the eight point
five of Intel.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
That was a big news.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Intel here, they're the chip maker that Navidia pretty much
you know, Intel down the video took off, But yeah, and.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
They're getting rid of a bunch of people.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
They said, besides not hitting their problem, they're gonna they're
going to eliminate thousands of jobs and other expenses.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
And they're slowing down on the facility outside of Columbus.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
I heard that as well.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
They're they're still doing it, but they're slowing down with
the process of building that, which I didn't like hearing that.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
We always want jobs and these kind of jobs.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
But hopefully they'll get things together and get the profit
line and things will continue. That will be very interesting.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Well, we'll keep an eye on those couple of things.
Today should be a pretty quiet day, but man, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,
we're just going to be on fire, which is well,
we're going to keep you busy. Hopefully Tomorrow will be
such a good day that Wednesday we'll have an expansive
and an expensive we tro Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
I'm looking forward to that.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
