Speaker 1 (00:00):
How are you, mister Wheetrow.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
I'm fantastic. Frits Monday got You're back. You had an
imposter there like Thursday and Friday.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Man, I'm telling them I felt horrible. I listened back
to some of the show. It was like, I can't
believe I sound like that. And there's still there's still
a little bit there, but the antibiotics are getting rid
of it for me, and kind of like I was
up and down all week, just like Wall Street. They
scrambled back. Friday, they had a big they had a

(00:30):
big morning loss, like one point three percent dropped for
the S and P. But by the end of the
day it wasn't merely as bad. Tell me what happened
on Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
No, we had a little reversal in that SMP it
in the end of the day it was negative, but
it was negative point zero five of a percent, so
basically flat.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Okay, But yeah, it really turned around.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
But the Dow Dow was down three hundred and nine points,
which is point sixty five percent. To five days, it's
up point three far. No, I'll take that.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
The S and P down three we knew that points.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
For the five days, it's off one point four to
four percent, and the NAZAK.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Finished the day up thirty points.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Which is point one to three of a percent, and
it's five day was only down point four to five
So we're taking a little breather here. We've had some pullbacks.
I'm gonna see if we get some reports from the government,
if they're going to get the flights going today. I
think they're going to start full flights today. If they
get that going, we can get reports from the government,
so that should start flowing in excellent. But for the

(01:33):
year to date, because we've been through a lot of
things last few weeks. Year to date, the Dow is
up ten point eight two percent, SP five hundreds up
fourteen and a half basically, and the nazac's up eighteen
point five to nine percent. So you know, we're doing
okay as bad as what it could be, and we're
sitting good. It's always going to go up and down.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
How much of the difference do you think if we
start to get the reports this week, since we're getting
back to normal, is that going to make or of
investors kind of baked in, you know the fact that well,
we're not expecting in a report, So let's just do
our thing.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Mm hmm. I think some of it's try baked and
they know roughly where it's coming. But I mean it
will help because we're looking at what's going on with
the government with some of our numbers. But we also
have the FED meeting come up coming up December ninth
and tenth.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
The tenth, we're going to know if they're going to
cut rates again or not.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
And it's kind of like maybe maybe not and that
can move the market. But I think that's what they're
looking at now. And we have big earnings. Oh we do, Okay, Yeah,
we have tomorrow Home depot Lady Boy. Wednesday's a big
dope big day, lows target TJ Max, but the big one, Navidia,

(02:48):
there's your market mover.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Okay, okay, Well, they're doing wondering how the home depot
and the lows will show up, because you know, with
home sales and people deciding to stay in their homes,
they're doing alwful lot of diy remodeling and things like that,
so it'll be interesting to see if those numbers have
gone up.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah, I'll be interested too. That's exactly what happened during
COVID here when just stayed home and yeah, I'll fix
something up, but yeah, we'll see and anxious.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
To see that.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
I'm anxious to see what's gonna happen with the interest rates.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
What do we look like this morning? What are the
futures telling us? And overseas.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Right now? The futures are They were down a little
bit when I first started. I would double check them. Here,
that's the Peace pointing up, Dall's pointing down. NASA's up,
but just a little bit. But again, we'll see when
it opens up and it closes the poor. So we're
going to see what will happen with the market, says.
You can see from Friday we get big swings both ways.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Well, And I was thinking of that when I saw
the story this week, and I thought, this goes right
to the point that Tim makes all the time. It
doesn't matter what it looks like in the morning, you
got till four o'clock in the afternoon, because we started
down Friday morning and we ended up not quite as
down at the end of Friday afternoon.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
That's exactly right. And you know, if you have all
your eggs.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
In one basket, that could be a problem, could be good,
But stay diverse fied and.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Watch all right, you got your work cut out for you.
We'll talk to you again tomorrow morning at six thirty
five if you need to reach out to Tim before
that four one nine eight two four thirty three hundred
