It is good to be here, and yes, yesterday was
a very fun day, a lot of family time and
a lot of great food. But now we're back for
some good basketball. I know day one we had a
lot of good games, especially that last game of the
night on Wednesday where z Ain't Trades barely lost to
Fairland and that was a barn burner at the end.

But here we're back with the games here on Friday,
and you know, our first game of today is Ross
County Christian Academy and Pikon. Yes, this is the first
game of the day here at those a Trace Tipball
Classic Pole our only game here on WKKJ. We will
be broadcasting the nightcap, Philcothie versus Bloom Carrol, that'll be

Looking at today's matchup, like coach said, we have Piked
in out of this Side of Valley conference they were
five and eighteen last year and the Ross County Christian
Academy Eagles out of the Southern Ohio Christian Conference, they
were seventeen and twelve last year.

Undefeated in conference play.

Look at last year's game between the two, it was
a good one here at the Tipball Classic.

Pikes be able to pull away late to a seventy
five fifty eight victories.

Yeah, it was, and it's sort of propelled Ross County
Christian into, you know, a pretty good season, even though
they long that game, and you know, it was fun
to see, and I know coach Matt Jude and his
program was just tickled about being able to be here

and playing some Ohio High School Athletic Association teams. They're
in the Southern Ohio Christian Conference, so they don't necessarily
get the opportunity to.

Play in the tournament that the rest of these schools playing.

They play in a different tournament and they're trying to
get more teams on their schedule and this year, I
believe I counted.

Up about nine teams.

They're going to play nine high school teams this year
and that's the most they've ever had. So again, he's
trying to grow his program there at Ross County Christian
Academy and he's doing a wonderful.

Job for PIKED five and eighteen.

Last year another year for Kyle Miller at the helm
down there at PIKED in a coach that really keeps
his teams well prepared. I know a lot of games
he didn't go there away last year, but they were
right in.

They sure were.

And yeah, he's a really good I call him a
young coach, but he is. He's pretty much a veteran coach.
He's been around a while. But yeah, he does a
wonderful job with his program and he's really senior dominated
this year, and he's got some athletes.

Probably the guy running the show out there, Luke Gollan,
he was a quarterback of the football team, and he
knows tough situations, he knows how.

And then you look inside a kid that we saw
on the football field, a wonderful football player.

Offensive lineman Bo Henry. He got hurt early about halfway
through the season.

I should say, against you Nioto, with a knee injury.
He is back now for basketball. They're saying he's almost
one hundred percent. But bo Henry is really a good
player inside. He does a great job making a lot
of good offensive moves and he's a great rebound here.
So those two I see probably with Jase Johnson also

and Trevin Shanks, those guys that play a lot.
